(Mentions and probably minor spoilers for the 3rd movie: World Heroes Mission)

I've literally just thought of this one, so it's not quite as developed.

The movie goes basically the same... Except it's Rody and villian Deku.

The commission in Japan think it's Izuku's fault for the quirk gas, since he's quirkless, but that's not the case. He's not involved whatsoever, but hey it's always fun to keep the heroes on the run so they (Endeavor, Todoroki, and Bakugou) chase Izuku to Othean while he forms his OWN investigation.

Rody just gets caught up in the fight. He's now a wanted man with an alleged association to Japan's menace ('Deku') with no way to save himself. He has to join Deku on his mission to find the real culprit.

The villian and criminal have a surprising amount in common and being forced to sneak around on the trip with the mysterious case is kind of fun. Yeah, Rody totally tried to betray him, but that's water under the bridge. Their bantar is legendary. They bond, and Izuku actually starts to see Rody as a friend of sorts.

Again, I don't have much for this idea. I just thought it was neat that no ones considered the possibility of Villian!Deku and Criminal!Rody forming an unlikely team.

!!WARNING: SPOILERS FOR WORLD HEROES MISSION. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!! I'd heard of Rody before of course, but I wasn't quite sure why he was so beloved. I now know. Good older brother? We love to see it! The bird, Pino, has my heart btw. Also the plot twist with Rody's dad being kidnapped and killed by Humarise? Wowwww. As a fellow older sibling, I can respect Rody a lot. I mean, the dude commandeered a plane to protect his siblings! I think Rody is probably a new favorite character.

Though it’d certainly ruin pacing, some of the My Hero Academy movies would have interesting moments if we pivoted to the league of villains’ POV.

TV Announcement:...the suspect, who is thought to have killed 12 people, is the Japanese hero 'Deku,' the alias of Izuku Midoriya...

Aizawa witnesses a reckless kid get kidnapped by Humarise. None of them know that they’re looking for the same person, even though they just teamed up to find him.

OR: The last movie was a great excuse to write about Izuku being kidnapped by a cult that worships quirkless people.
