Wreck It Raplh thing

okay so, i like the idea that there's seperate versions of the characters of wih all across the world, since yk that litwak's arcade is not the only arcade and there's alot of arcades that have the same videogame from another

and also the idea of internet games in wreck it ralph. imagine if the arcade was on the verge of closing because everyone's usin internet to plat videogames, and old videogames transferring to the new internet, and now theres no use for arcade anymore. Also The Switch

mix that together

and you get ralph and vanellople (i dont onow how to spell her name) in the internet, meeting a whole place for videogames to stay, and end up meeting Callhoun, but not really callhoun but a different version of her, specifcally a pc port (is that its meaning??) version of her who doesnt share the memories of the callhoun of the two met, and also, still has brad thanks to a dlc and shit

Also Turbo is there (again, a different version of him who doesnt share the memories and actions of ralph and vanellople met) because someone wanted to import a retro game onto the internet because it could end up being lost media and also nostalgia. Comfusiom Ensues

I like how in Wreck-it-Ralph nobody understood what Ralph was trying to say

Wreck it Raplh kinda struggled to express himself. What he wanted was to be liked and accepted. But he thought it is inevitable because he is a bad guy in his game.

He knew all along what the problem is. The nicelanders (and not just them) couldn't sepatrate his role in the show, from his actual person and threated him like an actuall vilian.

But Ralp is a simple guy and he had problem with fully formulating the thought. Just like the others he blamed his role, when the problem was the approach.

He ask them. "Why won't you let me be on that cake?" What he meant was "Why are you pushing me away?"

"Why can't I get a medal?" "Why am I never apprecieated for making our game run?"

"Because you are a bad guy! You don't get medals!"

And then he got the challenge. Go get a medal, and we will give you a penthouse. It was a bet. If he won he would win the right to live in a penthouse.

But he undersood it as "If you come back with a medal you will get accepted". Being accepted wasn't a part of the bet he had with Jin but he was completely convinced it would do that. Because he was not the guy that thinks twice. He was rushing forward.

If he came back stright form the "Heroes Duty" without delay, he would come back to still inhabited house. He would likely get that apartament but nothing else. No cake, no kudos.

They would just despise him from up close. Being force to live with him upstairs would proppably just make matters worse because nicelanders would be constantly annoing with his stomping and breaking furniture.

It was by the end of the movie in the prison when Raph found a way to explain to Felix what his problem is. It helped that Felix himself yell it in his face.

"Everybody are treating me like trash?! Its horrible!!"

"Ye, I know this. This is why I ran away and acted out. You guys treat me this way."

And Felix listened. He was not the sharpest hammer in the toolbox either but he finally got the message. Felix never actually seemed to hate Ralph but he did nothing to snand up for him. He seemed to play paceamaker by keeping nicelanders and Ralph away from each other. Once he understood he changed his behaviour.

And when he, the heroic figure talked to nicelanders they changed their ways too.

Felix fixed it.

Ralph didn't need to change. But everybody needed to understand the issue.

im ngl one time i watched like a few hour long video essay on wreck it raplh and all i can remember was that im hella impressed with the cybugs deisgn (both normal and the weird king candy/turbo bug)

The trippiest part of the movie.

People had to ssssh me at the theaters because of how loud I was laughing.

Aurora using the wheel that was the catalyst of her curse

Moana controlling water with her paddle

Ariel controlling and shaping the water as she swam in it.

Elsa freezing it making a slide.

Snow White basically made an acidic apple and hurled it towards Belle.

Belle batting the apple towards Mulan.

Mulan slicing it to 4 equal parts.

Lets not forget Rapunzel using her hair as rope.

Not to mention all the ball gowns used as a parachute.

My twin is watching ‘Wreck-it-Ralph’ and I know I am terribly late but I will always be salty about the movie not showing Felix and the nicelanders apologizing to Ralph.

so the ending of 3below....... it would have been waaaaaayy better if varvatos had to fight the kids so he could use their parents for the cannon, like a wreck it Ralph esque "I'm doing this for your own good" kinda thing, they made varvatos give in way too easily and the kids showing up and immediately crying was just weird

the scene was very rushed, like how did they know what he was gonna do with the wires in his hand? did stuart tell them?? I dont think so, they would've come running into the room all frantically if he had

I thought they were gonna end up going with varvatos using their parents core's anyways, later when they were at the battle, losing, (because he totally would, and that's what the parents would have done in a heartbeat) but then the queen and king just woke up all deus ex machina-like

that scene with them getting up in the middle of the battle was so weird?? they weren't at all confused about what was happening, weren't disoriented after being in stasis (a very rough stasis mind you) for who knows how long, they just walked up to the cannon with perfect grace and a smile on their face

dont get me started about the stupid "there was an explosion so now all the audio slightly muted" thing I hate that so much, well? better than a dumb ear ringing noise lol

idk the queen and king felt like such bland characters?? I get that at the end they're supposed to be super regal and self sacrificing or whatever, but they couldn't have looked the slightest bit sad??? it was so weird that they woke up and with the same unwavering smile, not looking at any of their surrounding, went straight for the cannon, very strange

i really thought there was going to be some cool character development of the kids realizing their parents arent perfect benevolent leaders (like Aja found out with tronos's planet) but that plot was swept under the rug, I feel like they started to give some insight on the parents and then suddenly abandoned all of it, like with how both the king and queen discouraged what the kids loved, fighting for Aja and engineering for Krel, again, more resentment for their parents that never came up again (especially when Krel ruined the memory because of how angry his dad made him, really thought that was gonna be important.....)

just kinda felt like they had the king and queen act certain ways just for the specific plot points necessary to resolve some of the episodes, weird...

I havent watched Wizards yet, so I have no idea if they go into some more stuff, but if they were gonna flesh out the akiridion characters, I assume they would have done that in..... the series.... about akiridions.....
