Wrestlemania 40 spoilers:
SPOILERS FOR THE MAIN EVENT OF WRESTLEMANIA 40!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Cody Vs Roman match was the perfect ending to not only Roman's story, but really is next level, 1000/10 smartest booking I've possibly ever seen.
In terms of Roman, Roman was booked as he always is: Dominant. He didn't look weak in defeat, the Bloodline interference never made him look weak, just smart. But he outsmarted himself, the Bloodline rules shit, getting the Rock involved, pissed off the wrong people. Cody kicking out of the move that ended WM39, showing how much stronger he is. Solo taking out Cena coming back to haunt the Bloodline. Taker having his status as the Final Boss of WWE threatened? As Luke Owen from Wrestletalk said "The Dong is loose!". Cody essentially being endorsed by three of Vince's most successful creations, securing HHH's future face of the company, the first HHH guy?! Fucking perfect. One last massive moment for The Undertaker, some retribution for Cena, and Roman taking the pinfall. Vince McMahon's era is completely over. Long live the King of Kings.
Really though the true masterstroke? Seth "Freakin" Rollins.
Seth knew he was fucked. He knew he couldn't actually make any physical difference in the match because of how beat up he was. Thing about Seth though, is that he knows Roman better than ANYBODY. He didn't have to throw a single punch to turn the eye of Sauron from Cody to himself. The fucking Shield theme, the gear, the chair, the blonde hair. The eternal feud between Seth and Roman was enough to cost Roman EVERYTHING because Seth KNEW that Roman would not be able to help himself, the situation was too similar, the opportunity too juicy to turn down. Seth knew he was going to end up with a chair to the back, and he KNEW it was going to cost Roman his championship.
Absolute fucking perfection.

Just phenomenal. So so so happy for Cody. HHH is really ushering in something special here, Wrestlemania as a whole was so badass this year. That ending! It clearly meant so much to so many people in the industry

If yes, then feel free to comment below (or reblog + comment) your thoughts on everything so far. Who do you think will win between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes? How about Iyo Sky (still call her Io Shirai from her NXT days *weeps*) and Bayley? What did you think about yesterday's matches? What about the entrances from the first match? I'd love to hear what everyone has to say!
And, of course, please tag it as #wwe spoilers , #wrestlemania spoilers , #wwe wrestlemania spoilers , and the likes.

I don't follow WWE too closely but I cannot believe between Cody Rhodes and Snoop Dogg, the latter is the one to come away with a Wrestlemania win.

I'm pretty happy with the outcome of Mania this year minus Logan Paul retaining though
Logan Paul was the part that irritated me the most. Kevin should have won, but I'd have been fine with Randy.
Toe to Toe there is no match between Logan Paul and Randy Orton. I've seen smaller dudes be scrappy, smart, opportunistic when fighting guys bigger than them, it's not impossible. But Randy vs Logan, no - there is no way Logan has the knowledge, skill, talent to beat Randy Orton. So it felt very forced - Like I get we are supposed to dislike Logan, he's the heel. But nah, that's real hate out there for that guy lol, I can't wait for Tyson to annihilate his brother. Even though I haven't been following closely for too very long I was still insanely happy and emotional for Cody's win! And Bayley's too! I feel bad for Drew, but I think Damian's cash-in was perfectly done. I think Drew will only benefit from this with his own story moving forward.

Sitting here trying to work on SoC while watching ’Mania on a second screen, and I had to stop because the main event was too distracting. I had little doubt that it would shake out this way but…

My boys did it! If you remember my post from back in February, that’s The Warrior on the left and The Outcast on the right. They fought The Brothers tonight for the tag team titles and won after a damn grueling match. This is the outcome that makes sense for the story that’s being told, but with this company you never know if they’ll change it last minute because they’re mad the audience figured that out (though that’s less of an issue now that a creepy old alleged sex predator doesn’t have direct control over creative). I wish the finish had been slightly different, but I sure ain’t gonna argue with the results.

I watch maybe four pro wrestling shows per year but I keep tabs on the stories otherwise, and can I just say, I have to admire the gall, the audacity of those who booked the Wrestlemania main event match. You could so easily have had the returning underdog All-American hero defeat the guy who's been the promotion's final boss for about 2.5 years now, and give him a big heartwarming moment that took decades for the hero to achieve. OR, you could do what WWE actually did, and have this looong money-making storyline continue by having the villain win again. And honestly, why wouldn't you? This has been the most compelling story WWE has produced in maybe 20 years. This story could lead all the way to next year's WM. This match result has got me wanting to see what happens next, and in that regard, they have achieved their goal lol
