We’re so active.
Here’s more to the archetypal help stuff, mostly about Heroes.
Stages of a Hero’s Journey-
1- Departure: Hero is called to adventure, most heroes reluctant.
2- Initiation: Hero crosses threshold into new, more dangerous world, gaining more mature perspective.
3- Road of Trials: Hero given aid, sometimes supernatural, endures tests of strength, endurance, resourcefulness, etc.
4- Innermost Cave: Hero ‘descends’ into underworld, or someplace of great trial, can be in hero’s own mind. Hero is reborn because of trial, in some way, physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, hero changes internally because of experience.
5- Return and Reintegration with Society: Hero uses new wisdom to ‘give back’ to the land.
Characteristics of a Hero’s Journey

-Hero returns to land of birth in disguise/unknown
-Hero is special, one of a kind, may represent whole nation/culture
-Hero struggles for something valuable/important
-Hero has help from divine/supernatural forces
-Hero has guide(s)

-Hero has a test of strength, physical, mental, etc, proud of excellence
-Hero suffers unhealable wound, hero never completely recovers

So this blog isn’t active very much, but if any of you are doing NaNoWriMo, kudos, and tell us your progress! Even if it’s ten words or ten thousand!

Prompt #2
Person A decides it’s time to figure out which instrument makes the best kisser in the band, going from the flutes to the clarinets and so on until they reach the percussion section. While trying to woo Person B (their target in the section), Person B says, “Y’know, I’m not a great kisser... But I’m a fabulous banger.”
What happens next is up to you! Write a series of shorts for as many instruments as you want. If you need a list of all band instruments, one is provided below. Have fun!
