The Day We Met
Copper-red hair, a face unseen,
A beauty in pixels, formed through a screen.
Your hands, your art, a black beret;
was all I knew until that day.
As the train doors parted, far and wide,
I scanned the platform, eager-eyed.
When in a sea full of eyes, I found your pair,
to fall in love, right then and there.

The Last Words
When last I wrote about youI had something cruel to saythen dressed it upwith some additional thoughtsthat cushioned the blowsoftened the crashlightened the impact. Upon review,I found that,like the last two metaphors, the dressed-up portion of my last writingwas extraneousand all I really wanted to say to youwas cruel. Perhaps I should have said nothingbut I really did have something still to…

One of the best things about Zoom is the ability to keep The Good, The Bad & The Ugly Paramedic student book clubs alive! 📚⁣ ⁣ These are some of my favourite speaking events, chatting with paramedics of the future. 🚑⁣ ⁣ Hosted by @edithcowanuniversity and sponsored by @writingwa, thank you. 👏⁣ ⁣ If you’d like to organise something similar for your uni or organisation online or in-person, let me know. 👍⁣ ⁣ #paramedicine #studentparamedic #paramedicstudent #emtstudent #paramedicschool (at Perth, Western Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEJhK5EhnJY/?igshid=1qvc7h2cb3yll

Gertrude Stein's influence in the Parisian art and literary
Gertrude Stein’s influence in the Parisian art and literary
Gertrude Stein’s influence in the Parisian art and literary worldsduring the first part of the 20th century is inestimable. She was a primary catalyst of the modern art and modern literature movements, and her art studio was one of the first to showcasethe works of Matisse and Picasso–she was friends with both. Her poetry and writingwas innovative and an influence to her friends like Ernest…

The Love Of Composition Writing
You ever,just sat down for days and nights trying to get a better life or even,come back from a major head injury and all people wanted to do was,down you for actually succeeding. Losing everyone in my life sucked but gaining a positive,outcome from learning,graduating not only high school but college as well and nobody to even believe or say im proud. Raising myself sucked and the way people are needs,to,change on how they are dont have talent or dont understand that what i do as in what i started in writingwas rehabing my brain then i dont knwo what to say to anyone other than try to ruin someone else's dream and let mydream and inspiration be what i want not what you think would be good. Love to the legends of composition writing! My Heart is the pen and paper excluding being completely ripped off for someone else to try and make it because of their unhonest ways!

Beyond words
In a world full of words, their purpose is clear,
to describe all we see, hold, and revere;
Yet when I tried to mantle you in written attire,
words could not fathom the love you inspire.
For you, my dear, defy all description,
a realm beyond words, a unique prescription;
In silence, your essence found its way,
where words, in wonder, still fail to portray.

Walls
The walls that I forged, standing through years,
crumbling away, dismissing past fears.
Each one demolished — by my own hand,
at Love's command, none could withstand.

Poison
Beneath moon's lament, her laughter ebbs to tide,
a river's course to shadows, deep and wide.
Ensnared by currents, I struggle to withstand,
drowning in thoughts, that bind me to this land.
Her memory, a poison, I drink with bitter lip,
my poems, mere mirrors, of each somber sip.

Nightstand
On my nightstand, a part of you remains,
from dawn's first blush to night's quiet plains.
Where I once looked into your eyes,
to start and end each day,
I now find solace in a picture,
in the same loving way.

Reflections
You made me beautiful, held within your eyes,
a reflection I could cherish, to my surprise.
But in a thousand gazes, I sought in vain,
that same sweet beauty, I'd never find again.

Whispering winds
In winds that whisper through the night,
Your giggles echo, pure and light.
A gentle tune, a soothing art,
like medicine for my weary heart.
