I have had it up to here, here being roughly fifty feet above my fucking head, with any queer representation that doesn't conform to monogamous alloromantic allosexual depictions that follow standards for romance that originated in cisheteronormative media being called queerbaiting.

I have had it up to here with my orientation feeling deeply, beautifully seen and tenderly treated by a piece of media only to have a bunch of my supposed community members completely discount that media because it's not depicting their specific queer experience.

I have had it up to here with the biphobia and bi erasure, the discounting of polyamorous relationship dynamics as invalid or less valuable, the tendency of allo gay fans to treat any representation that doesn't cater to them specifically as if it's bad, or nonexistent, or pandering to cishet people.

Newsflash, that's just the same shit I've heard y'all say about my actual sexuality all my life. Shut the fuck up actually.

If WWDITS doesn't speak to you, fine. Maybe it wasn't fucking for you. Maybe go watch any other piece of queer media instead. I know there's not enough, but of what exists, 99% of it is for you. This was for me, and I will not let you write it off as queerbaiting because of that any more than I'd let you write me off as not queer enough for not being like you.

like ok only 4 of the main 6 cast are currently able to turn into bats so like HMMM?

part of me only thinks that the bat is only there cuz guillermo used to be a vampire and the farthest bat is him moving on from wanting to be a vampire

speaking of the bats the grouping of the bats are ALSO interesting

just saying IF the 5th bat is supposed to guillermo that means the 2 paired off bats are probably nandermo given how they tend to stick together (I mean they're literally RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER in the poster)

now off the top of my head it could be referencing how nandor will be following guillermo as he tries to get a normal job or something like that next season (given that the lower of the 2 bats looks like they're going after the top bat who's going off somewhere away from the rest)

but come on we all know that we're low key hoping this means nandermo world trip part 2: it actually happens this time (like one bat is leading and the other is catching up)

if FOR SOME REASON isn't nandermo bats going off to do god knows what my only other theory is that it represents the guide and guillermo given that they're kinda outsiders?

Guillermo being turned in Nandor’s homeland….

so they can share ancestral soil…

but in s5 we were shown the possibility that Guillermo wouldn't need to carry a separate container for ancestral soil as long as he remains within the (waves hand around indicating whatever arbitrary border line the lore dictates to be 'homeland') of which he was turned because all of it would be considered homesoil (as seen by him sleeping in the motel or in the foot locker without a bag of soil from the gas station with him).

and Nandor (even taking away the fact that he had sorted out the details of Guillermo's turning beforehand as shown in the s5 finale) simply by having lived in the same place for two centuries should know that Guillermo wouldn't need to share homesoil if they were, to say, hypothetically, sleep in the same coffin (as is often the fan theory to why Nandor insisted on turning Guillermo in Al Qolinadar)

so. the question this brings up is thusly: why would it mean anything to Nandor to share homesoil with Guillermo if Guillermo could still sleep with him (in his coffin) without having to deal with a second pot of soil??

my answer: oh yeah, Nandor doesn't want to share homesoil with Guillermo so Guillermo can sleep with him (in his coffin). he wants to share homesoil so Guillermo would have to sleep with him (in his coffin).

they would be forever connected by more than just the romanticism of simply sharing the same soil but the necessity of it. it's Nandor’s solution for keeping Guillermo close to him no matter what.

And my reaction to the passing of Colin Robinson is memorialized in our Sibling Discord server as such:

So I was upset that Colin had made a place in my heart and then just died in a glory of flatulence. Hence the "This fucking guy" GIF of Nandor (who I relate to on a spiritual level) because damn if Colin hadn't made himself a valuable member of the Vampire Coven. But then! I am shocked and disturbed while also relieved to see he is born again in some creepy-ass-Chucky-fucker-esque-child-with-adult-man-head. To which I felt that sending a GIF and nothing else of Nandor saying, "The fuck is that shit?" was perfect.

But my brother responded with the best reply of all:

This works because he is definitely enjoying my little freakout and knows that I also relate to Guillermo on a spiritual level. So Guillermo in the GIF would be me just walking away from his evil snickers. (I literally tell him that Nandor and Guillermo and their dynamic is like the two voices in my head, which probably sounds odd to everyone else, but I'm autistic and think of my brain as its own being and myself as my own being, and we are a lot like the dynamic of Nandor and Guillermo.)

🦇 is anyone out there looking to rp wwdits (what we do in the shadows)?? i’ve never seen anyone search for it but i’ve been consuming fic like a woman starved and trying my hand at writing some too.

i’d love to dabble in some nandermo (nandor x guillermo) shenanigans, established or not, with a slight preference for writing nandor.

25+ looking for others 25+ who are lit writers (approaching a discord message in length, rarely over its limit) and patient. i’m not expecting a ton of interest, but like this if it piques yours!

ok so now that memo is human and isn't in the right head space to be a vampire atm what do we do now?

welp a common fan idea I see being passed around is making memo a witch (if he can never get properly prep himself to become a vampire)

I mean memo has direct ties to witches all the way back in season 2 and if nandermo get together memo will have a good supply of supplies if you know what I mean

now I'm really REALLY down with this idea (I'd love for him to be a vamp buuuuut I wouldn't be mad if he ended up becoming a witch ya know?) but there's like one big thing that makes this thing seem not at all possible is the fact that this show ain't known for bringing up things that happen in past episodes/minor characters much

don't get me wrong half of the reason I love this show is that bat shit crazy things happen/are implied/are said and then just never get brought up again (that kinda shit is my jam)

buuuut in order for the whole thing to work guillermo is going to need witches and the witches from the episode of the same name have never been brought up since that episode

so that's it then? there's no chance it'll happen? here's my little take

well 1 we all thought evie wasn't going to show up ever again and she was in this season

plus this show is very unpredictable and they might just show up one day so jot that down

2 and the whole reason why I'm making this post people tend to forget one tiny little thing

THE GUIDE KNOWS MAGIC

and this isn't a one and done thing no no no

she's used it in seasons 4 and 5 and they were used in big ways (well at least as big as a b plot)

and the guide herself likes memo enough to spare him from being trapped in season 5 episode 9

so here's what I'm pitching:

the way (or at least a way) you become a witch in wwdits canon is through reading and learning from books

books that the guide canonically have, have read, and on the rare occasion use

books she could share with memo!

so in season 6 I think we should see the guide and guillermo interact and talk to each other more

maybe after a bit have the guide slowly but surely teach him some magic (maybe guillermo asks her out of curiosity? maybe she's using it as an excuse to talk to him more? idk idk)

and after a bit if guillermo likes it have him borrow books from her and become a full on witch!

Most outlast discords i find are so bubble wrapped and going on about not talking about nsfw stuff when half of Trials is nsfw and SA and horrific!!! I find some people on Tumblr that totally get it but I want to gather them all up in a discord and have fun without walking on eggshells djdldjjeje
