So we got our first look at the beginning of the Fall of X, with four issues as a sort of prelude to the event, coming after the events of Sins of Sinister.

As much as I don't really want the Krakoa era to end, I'm kind of excited for this. Particularly when it comes to Apocalypse and his kids, who we haven't seen since X OF Swords.

Marvel Announces New “X-Men: Before the Fall” One-Shot Following Apocalypse

Marvel Comics has announced X-Men: Before the Fall - Heralds of Apocalypse #1, in its series of one-shots that will set the stage for the “Hellfire Gala” and the “Fall of X” saga. Heralds of Apocalypse hails from writer Al Ewing and artist Luca Pizzari.

After X of Swords, Apocalypse exiled himself of Amenth, reunited with his wife Genesis. Now the couple are up to some mew machinations and have their sights set on the Red Planet.

X-Men: Before the Fall - Heralds of Apocalypse #1, featuring a cover by Pepe Larraz, goes on sale on June 28, 2023.

New Thanos series against a new Illuminati formation launching in November.

Thanos himself is, of course, unbelievably fun to draw, I’m constantly telling myself to make him bigger and bigger!"

Now, my opinions? Cantwell is controversial AF. Tony stans know that, and I'm sure they're not happy to see him back at writing the character. I like his Doom run, except for the ending when he goes full genocide (even with the excuse that he wasn't aware of that because of his clouded emotions). As to Stephen... I'll wait and see. Maybe the run will be more focused on Thanos than the other characters. I don't know. I'm happy to see the doctor trio and Hulk, but also... I dread a little bit.
