There's a lot of boring suits. I do like it when he's in more fashion forward menswear (like the Oxford bags or some of the Marauders looks), but a lot of them are tedious.

What if some alcoholic rich kid himbo decided he wanted to be a supervillain but didn't really want to do any villainy?

16. A childhood headcanon

Oh this is hard because as funny as kid shinobi jokes can be (because is dad is, amongst many things, ludicrous), his childhood did genuinely suck.

I think he was a quiet kid (which I think is canon from what Warren says) and a sweet kid. Like, obviously he's got a nasty side to him that came out eventually, and this isn't me just saying "he's a fave so therefore he's a perfect little angel".

If we take that ooc and generally bad xforce issue with sunspot out of the picture, this man never kills anyone directly, aside from, eventually, himself. He threatens to all the time, and never does. This is done in a way that feels very deliberate and while it is likely an attempt to paint him as cowardly (which, OK yes he is but still), it could also be interpreted as telling us something about his nature. He doesn't have the stomach for this sort of thing.

I think he could very easily have been a sweet, gentle kid. With no real impulse towards violence or hurting anyone. And that's sort of still there in his core even when he's at his worst - he can't do it himself, and has to switch off and not think about these things.
