Summary:

Adrien had asked Marinette to be his dance partner! She should be excited, freaking out, catastrophising while surrounded by her girls as they reassure her that stepping on his toes once won't lead to the destruction of her hopes, dreams and future career.

However, she's found herself in bed, unable to move comfortably, let alone dance. But for once it's not her infamous clumsiness to blame.

White hair fell over his eyes as he shook his head. He tried backing away again, jolting as he hit brick instead.

He was like a frightened animal, shaking and baring his teeth at her.

Steeling her nerves, Marinette eased forward again. Her fingers connected with his flinching cheek and caressed.
