you continue to be the only person to understand zoro!! i think because he’s strong people assume he’s stupid or a himbo but sometimes he’s just silly and goofy!!! i didn’t know i was autistic until like two or three years ago and my ENTIRE life people have treated me like i’m stupid just because i was 1) quiet 2) openly obsessed with “embarrassing” stuff for my age. i graduated top of my class and had people say wow we didn’t know you were smart. stfu 😭😭😭😭😭 and the autistic experience of people saying “you think you’re better than me” i’m literally just talking and i’m not moving my face how and why do you make these leaps. it’s exhausting dealing with non autistics! all the straw hats are autistic now!

I only got diagnosed last year, but it really is just... idk maybe a disposition? I have a weird speech pattern and would rather be silly most of the time and then when I flex my knowledge ppl rlly do look at us like we're trying to act better than them??? when personally, I just love gushing about the things I've learned or am interested in and want to spread the knowledge. I LOVE when ppl gush about the things they know bc I learn so much about the things and the person. anyways, all of zoros moments that show his intelligence aren't, like, in your face. it's really subtle. and then when he's trying to be openly smart(telling them the web on thriller bark was a trap) they brush him off, OR he has to get really dominate in the conversation and serious(the usopp situation in water 7). which is another thing... ppl who are smart but don't make that their personality or don't push it often, most of the time, will only get taken seriously if they are serious in their delivery. I feel like I don't need a dominant personality to say things and be validated, but if I don't do that I'm just seen as silly and dumb. so when things are really important, I have to act that way in order to be heard (again comparing the thriller bark example to the water 7 usopp one). the way the crew treats him in both of those examples is the same way a lot of the audience sees Zoro. he's just dumb and we don't need to listen to him, until he's serious and pushy and has to invoke ultimatums to get his point across. only then is his intelligence actively recognized in the fiction and by the audience.
