#yandere batboys concept

I am going FERAL over this imagine:
So basically Bruce brings reader home to be his new daughter/the boys' new sibling but Uh Oh! They now want you carnally and reader is just like "you said you wanted me as a daughter/sibling, wtf is this" and being their platonic darling is better than being shared between them romantically so reader tries to come off as innocent and child/sibling coded by being like "yeah I've never actually kissed or dated anyone before aren't I just so innocent" and the boys are like :)))
So then Dick says you can call him your boyfriend "just to feel it out" and Tim starts blatantly stealing your panties and Jason says he can give you your 1st kiss so you can "practice" with him and Bruce offers to teach you how to touch yourself and (and him) and when you try to walk it back cause the boys are being Freaks they're in their delulu era so eventually you end up tied to the bed with the boys and Bruce drawing straws over who gets to take what 1sts (like 1st date, kiss, virginity, ect).
And Damien is just in the background absolutely SEETHING cause the the boys and Bruce's Horny Time keeps interrupting his Mommy Time with the reader
And reader using Damien as kind of a shield cause what are they going to do, feel you up in front of a CHILD? Like just, "Stay Platonic :))"
Just that kind of pseudo incest makes me Feel Things (*/∀\*)(///∇///)
I'd love your thoughts/a fic based on this! Ty ❤️
TW: Brief mentions of pseudo incest(y) scenarios/behavior, manipulative tactics, yandere tendencies
(Okay so I’ll answer this with my thoughts for right now.)
I know I primarily write incest(y) related topics for my Game of Thrones/ASOIAF stuff but I have been tempted to/curious about branching it out into some of the other fandoms I write for 👀. (I’ve had a few ideas rolling around in my noggin for a bit if anyone is interested.) So I would be willing to give this a try. I’m down to experiment with some new stuff, within reason of course.
I imagine the Reader being older (probably 19-23), maybe even having been a runaway of sorts or not having a very stable home life, so when they’re given the ‘offer’ to become part of the family they’re looking to fulfill a familial void they’ve never experienced or have forgotten how it’s felt like. I definitely see Bruce and the rest of the boys keeping a very close eye on the Reader before they decide to finally bring them into their family, basically full on stalking them from the moment they caught their attention (you know how the Batfam works). It wouldn’t be a surprise if even before the Reader was with them physically that the boys developed a more carnal desire for them. At first, their intentions were completely platonic, but with all the lengthy observing and information gathering of their supposed-to-be-new-family-member eventually something changed in how they all saw their darling.
I really see the change in their obsession starting with either Dick or Tim first. Especially regarding some accidental or purposeful peeping Tom foolery. I feel like Bruce would be the last to fall victim to the change in direction or at the very least he’s the last one to admit to it. If Damian is younger than I see his obsession staying strictly platonic, but if he were much older than I could see him involving himself to the same depths as his family.
At first, I see things happening subtly. Knowing that at the very least a few of them are already in an obsessive-romantic headspace in regards to their darling before they even physically become part of the family the guys would try to be as welcoming as possible without revealing their true intentions. They don’t want to scare you off right away, they want you to walk into it semi-willingly at least. But the interactions with the Reader would show something else. The lingering touches, the being much closer to you than really necessary, the heated grazes over your clothes here and there that leave you wondering if that actually happened or not. I also kind of like the other members not being fully aware of each other’s change in obsession, everyone giving each other the side eye until it sets in and then all out war of who gets the darling to themself unfolds only to eventually end up with them working together and agreeing to share. That’s when Bruce’s heel-turn is revealed.
Once things get truly amped up, the interactions with the Reader really begin to escalate. The boys would walk around shirtless more often, all of them trying to get their darling to look at them, to really look at them. Eventually, it’s not just them being shitless but either them in nothing but their underwear or nothing at all. They start out as accidents but eventually it’s pretty loud and clear that the guys want you to see them, all of them, to even touch them and feel them to your hearts content. But thats not all, of course it’s not. The touching of their darling only gets all the more intense, to the point that you know damn well that they’re touching you and they want to leave you wanting for more. So much more. The Reader’s innocence and lack of experience would only spur them on even more. They absolutely thrive off of it. They all want to be your first, your first everything. There will be a lot of secret ‘lessons’ being given behind closed doors and telling of “Don’t tell Batdaddy or he’ll get real mad.” “Don’t let Jay know, or he’ll want to punish you for not doing this with him.” “Let this be our secret, (Name). Something just for you and me.” “Can’t tell anyone about this or they’ll ruin it for the both of us.” And they only get even worse from there.
I can’t see Alfred being okay with this in any situation, whatsoever. I think he especially would feel like Bruce and the other boys completely took advantage of the Reader and he would try his best to aid them in trying to keep up with the platonic intention of this entire fiasco. He would be a total cockblock, even going as far as helping Damian in his cockblocking endeavors. Alfred’s intention would be to play both sides so he knows how to help the Reader when it comes to Bruce and the others but it wouldn’t take too long for them to figure out that Alfred is working against them. Like, Alfred was all for the familial-platonic obsession but when things started getting more romantic he was ready to shut that shit down ASAP. You can’t tell me he hasn’t, at least a few times, locked Bruce, Dick, Jason, and Tim out of the house to give the Reader some peace and give Damian his much deserved allotted time with them.
Speaking of Damian, he is a menace (as per usual) but even more so than normal. He really doesn’t take too well to the new direction of his father’s and brothers’ obsession for the Reader. He thinks it’s pretty messed up but he sincerely likes and cares about the Reader and he wants them to stay, he wants them to continue being a part of the family forever so he’ll let some things slide. Some. He even may be willing to look the other way when it eventually comes to Bruce, Dick, Jason, and Tim baby-trapping the Reader if it means this whole ‘family’ thing becomes set in stone with the arrival of a new ‘sibling’. But for the most part, at least early on, Damian would be a huge pain in the ass for the other family members. He feels like he needs to step in to save his darling from the others and their ulterior motives. He’s all his parental/older sibling figure needs, at least at that point. He may even try to runaway with them to keep them safe from the others. Hell, he may even get his mother involved if he was desperate enough, especially if he saw the Reader as a parental figure. Or maybe even another Justice League member to either adopt him and the Reader so that he could have that family experience he was promised with the Reader. Or he would be completely content just living the rest of his life just him and the Reader, platonically of course.
It would either take Bruce or Dick to have a talk with Damian to get him to come to some agreement to allow them to continue with what they’re doing in regards to the Reader. I think Dick would get away with manipulating Damian much better than Bruce could. I think Damian would have some opinions about his father especially throughout this whole situation. Especially since I see Damian being very observant of how Dick, Jason and Tim are behaving towards the Reader early on and picking up on the fuckery taking place, even going as far as telling Bruce about it under the belief his father would be on his side (not ever fathoming the idea of his father also doing similar things to the Reader without him ever knowing). As far as Damian knew his father was completely platonic towards the Reader, as a ‘father’ should be. Right? So understandably Damian feels not only betrayed but also disgusted when he finds out that his father was and still is taking part in, acting in a similarly depraved fashion as the others.
Eventually, I could see them coming together and being one big ‘happy’ family. But it sure as hell comes at a price. (Usually the Reader’s freedom and sense of self outside of the obsession they’ve been dragged into, to drown in alongside their yandere(s).)

YANDERE BATFAM x MAKIMA! READER CONCEPT PROPOSAL
is something that i wanted to write for a long ass time now but never really got a full concept for until now so here’s like a bulleted list for the idea and why you should totally like and reblog this so i get the motivation to write a full fic
tw/cw: spoilers for chainsawman manga, yandere themes, violence. this fic assumes you know what makima is so-
in any case, enjoy.
All of this is semi-based on the batfam x makima! headcannons i made before but going more into detail
Basically reader starts off as Batman’s parallel. Less of a nemesis than Joker, but not completely his ally cause you’ll represent the other side of saving people. The ‘necessary evil’ one must make.
Also known as the deaths of many in order to assure a perfect world.
So while Batman’s motto is “Never Kill” yours is “Kill as much as necessary.”
Batman is essentially powerless against you, but you give him one chance. One chance to end your entire concept as a devil. Essentially ending all fear towards control.
This plan comes as Damian Wayne. You are to reincarnate and grow alongside his first born child and that child would choose your fate.
By that I mean he’s the only one who can kill you.
Literally making his ‘born to kill’ backstory even more prevalent.
I won’t spoil the ending ofc but that’s basically the gist of it, or at least the main plot mechanics.
ofc the other batboys appear as well, maybe even batgirl.
but as of now i don’t have that many plot mechanics i can throw at them but Jason Todd
I feel like he’d be a nice wrench in the mix considering he thought Batman’s policy fucked him over.
In any case, any suggestions, additions, changes and improvements are welcomed.
Let’s hope this blows up so I can write a full on fic or something.
OH! And we can also make an alternate version where Batfam aint Yandere if that’s what you guys prefer. Would still be pretty dark though.

Thoughts on: the Yandere Batboys finally having a willing darling that actually genuinely loves not only them, but their family. Like a super sweet darling. But then finding out someone like Deathstroke is secretly trying to manipulate them/talking to them now?? Maybe even trying to take them away?? I dream like this and now I can’t get it out of my head- I just imagine someone as smart and as manipulative as Deathstroke of all people actually having a chance to fight the Batfamily..
Highly interesting detail.
After all, we are talking about the Wayne's, they were created as masters of manipulation and investigation. Batman and the whole Bat-family is, after all, from the beginning, a group of detectives who later became heroes or vigilantes.
A detail that, personally, many (including me) tend to forget because of all the action that goes into each of their cases.
So, manipulation and yandere… that goes hand in hand. No doubt about it.
I feel that, after so much time with the family, the SO is, sadly, fucked in the head.
What looks like good intentions are not, what doesn't look like good intentions is actually genuine concern. I would argue that the SO should be in a constant toggle and turn from hypervigilance to denatured disinterest. Something that would ultimately have the family concerned at different levels depending on the current state of their SO.
I mean, if he's in his hypervigilant season, no matter how much he's bequeathed to love all of them, the SO won't take any love or caring comments as such; so all the men in the family will have to act like real Oscar-winning actors and make everything they do look as realistic or sloppy as possible. And, the same goes for when the SO is in his season of disinterest or emotional slump.
I think a bit more like a shelter animal in a high care shelter …. will have its good times, its bad times and its extreme care times… it would just go from one extreme to the other quite often.
Now, this can be bad for the family, definitely, but I don't think so bad when it comes to having to see about strangers or potential dangers.
But, do not get me wrong, SO still loves the family!! Really!
But their head would be a little twisted after all their atemps to scape and that kind of suff.
Case in point:
Bruce and his kids clearly hate it when their SO overthinks too much about the biscuits they've gotten him from the street; it hurts them a little to see the way their SO eats them and inspects them every so often or chews them to near mush and then pulls them out on a napkin. It hurts them because they know that SO, despite having accepted the biscuits, still thinks he's going to be drugged or something.
O They also worry when SO eats anything… literally anything that is put in front of him. Even when they could care less if the food itself has been pulled from the bottom of the fridge and has specks of mold on its packaging or peel. They even almost had to force themselves to vomit when they saw her nonchalantly eating one of the biscuits Tim had left on the kitchen counter…. a biscuit that had been left there for over a month and that no one had deigned to touch because it was next to his coffee cup (which had also been left behind).
Worse when they hypervigilate interaction with anyone other than themselves?
They feel a little less worried. Well, people are more driven by the concept of "Better a known evil than an unknown evil" anyway.
The only thing that eats away at them is when their OS is actually in total neglect mode. I mean, Damian once told them they could go hang out for as long as they wanted (sarcastically) and then they had to scour the entire mansion and surrounding gardens because their SO took it too literally.
And, when his SO is in a regular or healthier state, I think he would be cautious on a quiet level. He would only let himself be carried away by gossip that has a reason to be justifiable or reasonable. Beyond that I don't know how confident he is of the proposed arguments.
Sure, they'd get along well, and if DeathStroke has a sweet tongue and caramel words, I don't doubt he'd get on a cordial basis with SO, if he's been going along with the Yan Batfam for a while. If it was very early otdo, no doubt SO would actually try to escape with him, follow his words and doubts like a religion; but at this stage of the situation, where SO lives with the family and has so many traumas related to them and his failed escape attempts and manipulation, I think he would see that man more as a sad buffoon believing in his strength.
Even more so if it is from an enemy of his captor. Because, although it may not seem so, the enemy of your enemy is your friend is so unrealistic. The enemy of your enemy may be your colleague… but not your friend in this situation.
DeadStroke against Bruce might have an advantage, but against the whole family, I'm afraid not. Not unless you put a lot of SO on their side.

Imagine how terrifying would be being in a haunt like situation with the batboys and you are the trophy/prey.
The one who get to get you first is your new lover, but if you get to get away from them till dusk then you're "free"...

IMAGINE SOULMATE AU (mark/tattoo, 1st contact) + YANDERE AU WITH THE BATBOYS
Gotham catch 'em all! 5am so so sorry
Edit: this is a concept, a sketch not an actual full developed story. I.MA.GI.NE. not drabble. Not oneshot. Imagine (Like you can and write in base of this, like pleaseandthank you!) (Also I'm not English tysm)
Tumblr media
TERMS:
Canvas: noun, soulmate mark, looks like a UV tattoo. If you born with it, their appareance is a miniature which grow with you without deforming but actually get detailed (so no babies getting their marks in databases)
The Brush: noun, when you touch your soulmate for first time and your mark get colored
Painting: noun, colored canvas, which is supposed to turn into a colorful, maybe even metallic one, otherworldy for sure. Also used to refer to people who have found their soulmates.
Tear, teared: Used especially as an adjective, refers to the ugly scar/burn that remains where once was the canvas when the soulmate dies
Easel: noun, in modern times a derogatory term, person without a canvas, although some people are born without them because such souls haven't yet been born. (Yes, weasel word plays are a thing)
Imagine being another common girl in Gotham City. Your dream is to get enough money to get out or failing that, move to a "quiet" area (whatever gothamites understand as quiet).
In a lottery one, maybe find your soulmate. But since chances of finding one's soulmate are low-non existant (until point people tend to obsess if they find theirs and if your soulmate rejects you, well... legally they have the upper hand, can you believe it?? Whats this an omegaverse wtf???), that's only a nice dream and you're fine with getting only one of the two previous options and daydream with the later at a stable non-weirds-chemicals-involved-please job.
Your canvas is apparently some really pretty drawed little bird, signed by IIIIIIV. When you were little your dad play with you saying maybe they would be an ornithologist, naturalist or artist. Even when your parents weren't soulmates, they didn't want rip your dreams. But as a young adult, now you know the Brush and Paintings are things you could heard only on TV, and everyone knew media is misleading at best.
As the Wayne boys side, since they have spent a lot together, wounded and naked more or less willingy, although canvas are something private, they end up seeing each other's and realizing that theirs are identical. I pretend that Y/N representation in their body is a common female bird colored of reader choice clinging to a branch (like a robin is a common bird, if you think about it) and sometimes they hypothetically talk about her as (insert Dick begins this and it stucks better than a Disney song): babybird, duckling, birdie, lovebird, little dove, sparrow, angel, swan, songbird.
You are just one of the many girls in Gotham, you repeat yourself everyday as you do put make-up upon your canvas, over your heart. And canvas et all are something private, surely it isn't something unique. Tear, lines again, tear, reappear, but never all the canvas, only parts, you remember how your little bird spent a couple of years with part of his chest (now you're sure is a him) scarred until the lines were redrawn, then the upper-end was the scarred one, then head for a few moments?, the rest of the torso gone for moments was a recent one... You weren't the brightest pea in the pod (although apparently you were the best sperm). But, bird. Bird. Robin. And that every time you blinked there was one Vigilante more with that fucking name (although your favorite was the girl ofc! stick together!). But. BUt. BUT! Which of all of them was your soulmate and why had his head, legs, heart been ripped off and who knows what at one time or another?
You will later find your painting was a kind of watercolored robin with black eyes, beaks and legs. From its head to tail, the ussually grey upper body part was a gradient from blue to green, while its lower part did the same with red and yellow. You found it was not IIIIIIV but I (blue) II (red) III (yellow) V (green) because the now black numbers were splattered of color.
And all those rumors of who new hero/vigilante was previously "x" Robin it... maybe you were guilty or not of reading RealPeopleFictionxReader phase when young, but, Wayne and Relatives and the Batfam... nana, nana... naaaa?... right??
No way you were going to get close to those celebrities, as an attentionphobe and gothamite born, like you got all right, thank you, your instincts of self-preservation, and spending your adolescence scars on-off wasn't good for your heart... soul? So you knew you couldn't allow any of them be your soulmate (even when ofc none of then could and never would be yours). Plus even without the obvious association your mind may had or not done, you must be mental to want to be around either one, the BatFam or the Wayne Household.
Timeskip. You were finally at the University/College, studying what you want. You didn't get the waitress job. How did everyone get a waitress job except you? (on the other hand, maybe the universe was doing you a favor and you shouldn't complain) You work was cleaning in a hotel and thanks for that (even if it stinks and your hands were always sore and the bleach smell was always under your poor nose).
Especially since as a mediocre person your parents did not abuse you, although sometimes their extroversion and your introversion clashed but they did not die, tragically or not. They weren't heroes, vigilantes, or villains or a wanna be of neither. They love and care for you, they support you in college. You paid yourself the campus to start leaving the nest and finally let yourself love them... a little more far away (plus your old home was very far both work and class).
But one night, when "insert villain of your choice" (Scarecrow surely so Y/N acts seems reasonable) attack the hotel where you work and you run away the moment you hear Batman AND (which, dear, is suspicious, don't you think?) Batman intercepts you, but obviously a scared little bird like you cannot be anyone's accomplice, hostage at best, a victim?
You murmur, anxiety and/or fear increasing, something like no birds please no birds, I'm a good person, I swear, swear, only no birds, please, you give him your hotel ID and fly away uniform et all before "AND" arrives. No reader of mine will act coherently under pressure, never, unless they have been trained to do so or they had a hard life previously recognized.
You only go out for classes and work and your ID is in your hotel locker back on your next work day. You know that there are two Wayne boys studying at the same time as you (Damian, having skipped courses at Gotham Academy and also to be a meany to Tim, and said boy Tim, who needs to stop skip classes to favour vigilantism), but you don't meet any of them (as you have been able to do so far since the screams from their fans when they decide to attend classes are a great clue. They are likethe Gotham Kardashians you swear). After a month you think you can finally turn off the radar.
In fact, that night Batman kept your ID on his belt and investigated you in private. Was while rumming that either Damian or Tim found out and told the rest. And, hey, in principle they were only trying to get closer in their civil way because OBVIOUSLY you had nothing special in the record, and B. had close your case (without sealing it or give hits signaling you hide something, like if he was checking another victim of another attack even though nobody of them had seen you in one).
But why are you so scared of the definitely not so kids Wayne's? ok, you don't like to attract attention, you enjoy quality before quantity, and of its true Jason bulky built if you don't know him and Damian grumpy face can be intimidating... But after all the pantomime that the older brothers mounted in the door, attracting the glances so that either Damian or Tim would enter one of the seminars that they could pick and share with you, maybe get a seat near you, and you would look at them as if Scarecrow had thrown fear gas at you... they end stalking you, choosing you although their conscious part refuses to acknowledge that, you are still just a case, one on whom they don't mind spending large amounts of free time... but a "case".
Okay, let's say you keep you composure at the end. Then I'm sorry but they get close to you it's at least two against one. If not that day will be the next one or the next to that, they would sneak their way to you and you can't run. Greeting is polite. You must give thanks they pitied your introverted being and accounting Waynes shit so they are being subtle and you don't have middle campus with the popcorn.
ORRRRRR, let's say you manage to dodge them. For how long? without making a fuss? without being cornered and touched/grabbed without your consent?
Tumblr media
"... Babybird. Babybird. Did you know and still you've been flying away from us?"
There I was, despising myself while tried written and then I remembered, do you know how most female birds are so dull in contrast to the male ones? I daydream a yandere+ soulmate au only to raise my spirits. Also background for a Porn without Plot YandereRobins x Reader if I ever wrote one 🤣
Edit: Damian is V (5) because in this story Stephanie Brown is the 4th (IV) Robin.

What if Platonic!Damien actually managed to run away with the reader. How would everyone else react???
Alfred is completely and utterly relieved to hear the news that Damian finally got the Reader out and away from this deplorable situation. Whether he helped make it happen or not, Alfred would be so happy just imagining Damian and the Reader running off into the sunset, far, far away from Bruce, Dick, Jason, Tim and the manor. He’d have to hold his true thoughts and feelings on the matter close to his chest but he is truly grateful that the two of them got out. Alfred knows damn well that Bruce and the others won’t give up on finding and bring Damian and the Reader home but he’ll do as much as he can to make it as difficult as possible for them to be found. Even if he has to betray Bruce’s trust to the maximum, he’ll do it. He has to.
Bruce would be livid, but not at first. I could see him (and the others) thinking that this is all just Damian being dramatic and trying to have the Reader’s attention all to himself like per usual but this time Damian isn’t cooping the Reader up in his room or locking him and the Reader up in the Reader’s room and keeping everyone else out, this time Damian’s taken them completely out of the manor and out of Gotham for that matter. It isn’t until it’s been made more than apparent that Damian has no intention of coming back with the Reader (or at all) or even letting them see the Reader that Bruce becomes much more serious and intense about the situation at hand. Not to mention finding out that Alfred has been aiding in the efforts of keeping Damian and the Reader in the wind adds even more to the feelings of hurt and betrayal running rampant in Bruce. But he won’t give. Even if he can’t ever truly trust Alfred ever again, or the fact that he will surely have to severely punish both Damian and the Reader when he finds them, Bruce won’t stop for anything.
Dick would be pretty upset but even then I don’t think he would take it too seriously or at the very least wouldn’t want to believe that Damian would do that to them until it became glaringly obvious that yes he did do just that. Dick would wholeheartedly believe that he could convince both Damian and the Reader to come back home, whether they actually do is another thing. But he would try, and I mean by any means. Dick is extremely manipulative and especially desperate in this situation making his manipulation know no bounds. He’ll say whatever and do whatever if it means his darling is coming home.
Jason would be absolutely livid right off the bat. He’s ready to go kick Damian’s ass and bring their darling home the second he gets word of what’s happened, whether he comes back with Damian in tow is something else. To say Jason is pissed would be an understatement, he can’t say he’s actually surprised about any of this but he’s certainly annoyed by it. Who the hell even gave the brat the idea that he could just steal their darling away from them like that? Jason already wasn’t too happy to have to share to begin with but this, this isn’t gonna happen. Not on his watch. And the moment when Bruce gives him the go ahead to be rough with Damian when they find out where exactly the two of you have been hiding, Jason couldn’t be more thrilled.
Tim would immediately be set on trying to find where in the hell the two of you could be hiding out. Talk about losing sleep, he wouldn’t so much as allow himself to blink until he found the exact coordinates to their darling’s location. This boy is pulling out all the tricks. The only way he’ll finally be able to rest is when he has his darling in his arms again and so help him he fucking will. As much as he’d love to get a few hits in on Damian when they finally find the two of them, Tim would much rather just get to feel their darling again. Make sure they’re okay before he takes them out of the hideout they’ve surely been cooped up in to leave Bruce, Dick, and Jason to deal with Damian while he finally gets that long awaited nap he so deserves and getting to cuddle up with his darling too.

Hello. I had a few questions about your post about yan romantic batboy / yan romantic batman and the adoptive reader. What would happen if the reader got pregnant? What will be the reaction of Platonic Damian and Alfred in particular?
Alfred would grab Bruce, Dick, Jason, and Tim by the collar of their shirts and kick them out of the manor on the spot when he’s told of the news. Especially if it’s pretty early on. He would feel all the more overprotective of the Reader now and he would even go as far as giving options to the Reader regarding their pregnancy. No matter what they decided, Alfred would support them all the way. He would ensure the Reader was taken care of either way and if they choose to keep the child then he would be the absolute best grandpappy ever. But Bruce, Dick, Jason, and Tim would never truly leave Alfred’s shit list, nothing could get him to view them in the same as he did before. Nothing. Everything they ever were to him would be tarnished in his eyes. Especially if the darling was completely unwilling throughout this whole romantic side of things.
Now, if this was later on in the relationship’ and the Reader was more willing or at least accepting of the new situation *cough* worn down *cough* then I could see Alfred being more tolerable of the news. He would still very well kick the boys out for a time but it wouldn’t be for nearly as long as it would be otherwise. He wouldn’t feel as inclined to be hovering over them when they’re with the Reader and or the baby. He’d be able to back off in a sense but his feelings about the situation would still be very wary.
For Damian, it would depend on exactly where his ‘relationship’ with Bruce and the others stands. If this news hits early on on the new direction of the obsession then I could very well see him being consumed with the need to get the Reader away and out of this situation with his family. He would desperately want the Reader to keep the baby and he would help raise it, doing everything he had to to help the Reader out no matter what. He would be adamant that they didn’t need his father or the others in the picture, that they could make this work just the two of them and that he would be the best big brother that this new baby could ever want for. Similar to what Dick had become for Damian but in his own way.
If Damian was in a more accepting or tolerating position with his father and the others than I could see him being more of the one to help keep the Reader right where they are, keeping them in the manor and with the family. He would become absolutely more overprotective of the Reader, as everyone else would be too, but he would even go as far as not only protecting the Reader from Bruce, Dick, Jason, and Tim but also even Alfred. He would become even more of a guard dog than usual, wanting to be the only one allowed near the Reader at any point. He can’t bring himself to trust anyone else with the Reader and their unborn baby, only he can be in their vicinity. He would even take to kicking Bruce and the others out of the bedroom with the Reader to ensure that the Reader is well rested and taken care of. He’d even argue it as the others’ hovering and incessant flocking over them is stressing them out or causing their rest to be interrupted. He would be right by the Reader’s side for anything and everything. And don’t even get him started on people touching the Reader’s belly as it gets bigger. He will cut their hands off without even a thought in mind about it. He is the only one allowed to touch it, he is the only one allowed to lay his head on their tummy and listen to his growing sibling inside. He is the ONLY one. Damian would overall be exceptionally more clingy with the Reader than he already was. Especially when it came to cuddling them. He wouldn’t let anyone else near her. And if you think he’s bad with the people he knows the most, imagine him with complete strangers. Especially the doctor visits and he goes to every single one. Every. Single. One. Even if Bruce had house visits done instead, Damian would still be right there. Always hovering protectively around the Reader. Hell, it’s even to the point of the doctor having to ask Damian permission to touch the Reader’s belly during check ups.

I think if I had to chose who to choose for help I’d go with Jason HE READS and I mean he’s the strongest (aside from Bruce) and would probably be the quickest to rebel against the batfamily especially if Jason’s darling pulled him aside and told him how scared they are of the rest of the family, because in Jason’s mind THEY TOLD HIM, they are trusting HIM to keep them safe and unlike Bruce years ago he intends to keep his darling safe he would also probably get jealous v easily
I could see that. I think in most, if not all, scenarios yan!Jason is especially pretty easily swayed to turn on the rest of the batfamily. But especially in particular if the darling is reaching out to him and him only, he’d see this as them completely and solely relying on and trusting him. He’s their savior in this situation and he’ll fucking take it. So long as they stick with him and not try to run away from him too after this then he’ll be their loyal guard dog. But if he finds out they were just using him to get out of the other situation and they end up trying to leave him to, Jason with threaten to take them back to the family. He’ll even bring them back dressed up all pretty and wrapped like a present waiting to be ripped into.

def not an request but i wnt ur thoughts on this. you answered an ask once about the batboys + bruce lovin bruce's adopted sibling bcuz of how affectionate they are. and while I have alot of thoughts, my main one is just wonderin how they'd react if they died.
it could be from the rogue of the week, them dying bcuz they were held ransom and one kidnapper was trigger happy, a hitman for some reason. point is they died but i know for a FACT that jason and damian wouldnt think twice about using the pits to bring them back. they wldnt even think,, theyd just share a glance and nod.
like can you imagine bruce spiraling (they all are tbh) cuz his sibling died. alfred is trying to console him while comforting dick as dick is sobbing buckets. tim is trying to fight tears as he scours for any images of his aunt/uncle's killer and jason's in the back like "damian get the shovel" and a shovel spawns in damian's hands magically
sorry for this being long btw i waa excited
Everyone would be completely distraught at the loss of the only thing they felt kept them grounded. Their only sense of outward love, affection, and warmth being ripped away from them like that would be detrimental to everyone of them. Especially if the Reader has been killed so senselessly, like their killer didn’t even know who they were or their ties to Batman and the Batfamily or to Bruce Wayne in general. They could all blame themselves for being the reason a rogue got to them but just some random mugger having been the one to take away their beloved sibling/aunt or uncle would tear at them even more. Especially for Bruce, having the Reader taken away from him like his parents had been would mess him up all over again.
Honestly, there’s no doubt that Bruce, Tim, and Dick would heavily contemplate using the Lazarus pit to bring the Reader back. But it’s definitely Jason and Damian who don’t think twice about it and go through with bringing their precious aunt/uncle back. I feel like Alfed would be the only one to not consider it, whether he just can’t bring himself to do so or he’s come to accept the loss of the Reader.
The only reason I could see him being accepting/tolerating of the idea of the Reader being brought back by means of the Lazarus pit would mainly be for the sake of Bruce and the boys. Of course he’s affected by their death and not being able to be in their company again or to have them fret over him like they did, but it’s how hard Bruce and the boys take it that really has him willing to turn a blind eye while Jason and Damian go through with their plan. Alfred would also low key give his reassurance and acceptance to Bruce for him to go through with his own thoughts of bringing the Reader back to life. It may even be Alfred who plants the seed of using the Lazarus pit to begin with, in his own desperate way to get the family back to the way it was.
Also, in the case of a rogue having taken the Reader and was using them to get to Batman and the boys, I could totally see one of the villains’ lackeys being the one who deals out the Reader’s demise. Whether they went too far with trying to get information from them/roughing them up to add to the vigilantes rush to meet with the respective rogues demands or they just really wanted to take it into their own hands to get back at the Dark Knight/prove their worth to their boss. Either way, I could see their boss even being like “👀 You done fucked up and now we’re all going to die😬”. Trust me, Jason and Damian would go on a bloody warpath killing and maiming everyone involved in the death of the Reader or even just for being there, and I don’t even think Bruce would be in the mindset to stop them. Or maybe he doesn’t want to stop them.
In the case that the Reader was pointlessly killed by a mugger or low grade criminal for no reason other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time, Bruce and the boys would work tirelessly to find the person who did it. It would especially be infuriating and defeating if the Reader’s killer was just gone in the wind. No trace of the assailant, no leads off what evidence they did have, nothing. If they aren’t able to hunt the Reader’s killer down before they bring the Reader back to life then they would all be extremely paranoid about something similar happening to the Reader again, whether it’s the same assailant or someone else. Not getting that closure of permanently getting rid of the person who tore away their darling from them would weigh and all of them. They’d become even more overprotective of the Reader once they have them back and wouldn’t allow them to leave the manor for anything out of fear of losing them all over again.
Similar to Alfred, Dick would be the one consoling and trying to keep everyone together knowing that the Reader wouldn’t want them to tear apart like they already are. He pushes down his own heartache and hurt over the loss of the Reader to try and be there for Bruce and the boys, especially Damian. Alfred knows exactly what Dick’s doing, focusing on the others so he doesn’t have to deal with his own trauma regarding the ordeal. But Alfred doesn’t let that fly and he confronts Dick about it only for Dick to breakdown and unleash everything he’s been keeping under wraps.
The death of the Reader would really affect Bruce and the boys severely, they all shut down in their own ways. Sick is the only one who still comes off as his normal self but behind closed doors in another thing. Jason becomes even more aggressive and rough when dealing with any criminals, no matter how high or low on the food chain they are. Whatever sleep and healthy habits the Reader had gotten Tim to do to take care of himself went away the day they died. If anything he’s only gotten so much worse, a husk of what he used to be running solely off of caffeine and the need to find the Reader’s killer. Damian shuts himself off completely from everyone, not even Alfred or Dick can get to him. He won’t let them. All the wonderful progress he made with the Reader regarding letting others in and being able to let go of being the child of an assassin and vigilante and just allowing himself to be a kid is destroyed. He doesn’t want anything to do with anyone unless it’s his beloved aunt/uncle.
Bruce is a mess, both physically and emotionally. He’s taken a backseat from things, mainly pertaining to the Justice League and Wayne Enterprises. He stops by every so often and does want he needs to but he isn’t involved unless he really, really needs to be. Even though he has Alfred, Damian, Dick, Jason, and Tim, Bruce can’t help but feel cold and alone after losing the Reader. He feels the exact same way he did when he first lost his parents, before he adopted the Reader and brought them home to be his family. He knows he’s not truly alone, at least not physically but there’s a hole in his chest and he finds himself completely lost. He know he needs to be there for the boys, that the Reader would scold him for not being there for them when they need him most but he just can’t. He tries but he can’t do it, he can’t give them what they desperately need, not like how the Reader could. And that makes him feel even worse.
Bruce would be overcome with the feeling of being useless and vulnerable and he hates it. It would especially be hard for him if Dick and Jason were moved out of the manor leaving the family to be apart in such a trying time. Although, having Jason and Bruce in the same place together might not be good given that that may cause strife between the two. Especially if Jason blamed Bruce for the Reader’s death, or at least used Bruce as a way to let out his own grievances about not being able to save the Reader himself and projecting his own guilt and self blame about the whole ordeal.
This would only push each of them further towards bringing the Reader back by any means necessary. And they don’t care what anyone else has to say about it, they need their darling back otherwise their family isn’t going to last much longer without them.
Also, the overwhelming guilt and self hatred of Bruce or any of the boys if they had inadvertently been the cause of the Reader’s death. Like, while trying to get to the Reader maybe a stray bullet or knife/batarang/wing-ding hit the Reader and led to the their demise.

I loveee what you wrote with the batboys being romantic with reader it was sooo good!! Do you think that Alfred would help reader try to escape since he feels guilty
Definitely! I could see him helping the Reader try to escape by themself earlier on and then aiding Damian and the Reader in their getaway together later. I can’t see Alfred ever halting in his endeavors of trying to give the Reader an out from their situation. And he would continue to aid the Reader long after they got away, whether by themself or with Damian.

Hello!! Happy late Christmas! I just love your writing- your soooo talented!! ❤️
I was wondering how the yandere bat boys would react to a (willing) darling being jealous of their "cannon" romantic interest? Like Dick's darling being jealous of starfire or Barbara, Damian's darling being jealous of raven, ect...
...or maybe there's a surprise twist where the romantic interests are also yandere for the darling... and maybe they're not willing to share 😉
I can’t help but imagine that fans of all the heroes ship them with other heroes/heroines (sometimes even the with some of the villains) and the batboys are no exception to this, hence the darling coming across some of the ship/OTP stuff regarding their respective batboy and feeling insecure about it. Maybe they were comfortable with the ‘love interests’ who are the most popularly shipped with whichever batboy but now feel a sense of discomfort when in their presence. Maybe they were even close to said ‘love interest’, more like friends with them but now they can’t help but feel some type of way after seeing everything they’ve seen regarding the ‘love interest’ and their batboy.
Their insecurity and jealousy get the best of them, it would especially weigh on the darling if they themself weren’t a hero or vigilante, able to be out in the field with their batboy and the ‘love interests’. Not only to be able to see the respective batboy and ‘love interest’s’ interactions outside of what they already see and to be able to pick up on what the fans take as more than what it is, but to also be able to connect with their batboy by being a part of the hero and vigilante lifestyle with them.
No matter how much the darling were to try to keep their worries and insecurities to themself, their batboy will find out. There’s not a lot you could keep from them after all.
Dick is pretty close with all his exes but his darling means the absolute world to him and he wouldn’t do anything to mess it up, especially since they are willing. He can come off pretty flirty and that could certainly fuel is darling’s worries but he would never betray them like that, not when he’s already got the bestest thing he could ever wish for (that’s you!). But when Dick picks up on his darling acting a little off, more drawn back and closed off, he knows something’s not right and he doesn’t like it. He’ll try to find out what it is without directly asking his darling, he doesn’t want to set them off or cause them to shut down with him, so he’ll see what he can come up with on his own. He’ll be paying closer attention to you and your behavior. It’s when Kory or Barbara is around that he notices you keeping more to yourself, even when you use to have no problem interacting with and getting along just fine with them before. Once he’s gotten the idea of what’s going on then Dick will sit you down and talk about it. He listens intently while you begrudgingly open up about what’s been on your mind lately. He doesn’t take his attentions off of you for anything and when you’re done talking, probably voicing how stupid you think you sound, he pulls you into a tight hug and just holds you close to him. He’s worked so hard to get you to be where you are with him to begin with, he would never forsake it for anything or anyone. There may have been a past with Kory and Barbara (along with others) but you’re his and he’s all yours now and there’s nothing that could take him away from you. He’ll shower his darling with all the love, affection and spoiling the are more than deserving of. He’ll prove his love to you, every ounce of it but you may not be able to walk for a few days, maybe even a week afterwards.
I could see Dick reaching out to Kory and Barbara for advice on what to do or how to go about talking to his darling, just overall some girl advice. Maybe Kory or Barbara hit him up to ask him about how it went or maybe they had brought it to his attention in the first place. They would particularly be worried if the darling had been on good terms with them only to have started acting a little differently when around them recently. That’s when Dick lets them in on what had been going on, maybe cracking a joke or something about being shared between them and his darling only for Kory or Barbara to joke back that it wouldn’t be him that they wanted. And that they wouldn’t be too into sharing either. Normally that wouldn’t have bothered him if it wasn’t for the the way they said it or the underlying threat to their words. Dick’s ears would perk and he would realize that he’d have to keep his darling real close otherwise Kory or Babs would steal them away from him. Like hell he would let that happen.
Jason is pretty closed off, the only real person outside of Roy, Bizarro, Kory, and maybe Artemis that he felt like he could really try and be himself with was his darling. It took a lot for him to open himself up and bring them into his life, he had been terrified of how they would react, what they would do, if they would leave him but they willingly accepted him and stayed. That was truly the happiest he ever felt. So when his darling suddenly started being withdrawn and staying to themself, Jason was scared shitless that it had finally sunk in and they were preparing to up and leave him. He’d be a little hesitant to confront them, not really wanting to hear the words he’s only ever heard in his nightmares being said for real. But he also knows he just needs to rip the bandaid off, so he confronts you all the while anxiety floods his entire being. He’s mentally and emotionally preparing himself to hear those dreaded words and have one of his worst nightmares play out right in front of him for real, only that’s not what he gets at all. Instead he’s thrown for a loop as you open up about how insecure you’ve been feeling towards Kory or Artemis and how scared you are of him deciding to be with them instead. To say he’s taken aback is an understatement, Jay is completely confused. Albeit, he is relieved that it wasn’t his worst fear but still he was at a loss. Had he done something to make you think that? What could he have possibly done to make you think Kory or Artemis was better than you? Had he not been giving you enough of the attention and love you deserved? What could he do to make this all better? What could he do to make you feel the absolute love and adoration he held for no one else but you? All Jason can do is pull you to him, crushing you to his chest and just clutching you close. God, he thought he was gonna lose you, that he would have to force you to stay but thankfully that wasn’t the case. He was going to show just how much you truly meant to him, so much so that wouldn’t ever question your worth or place in his life again.
I feel like Kory’s or Artemis’ interest/obsession would have been brought up earlier on, probably completely unknown to the darling but Jason was well aware of it. He’d pick up on how much more time and attention Kory was putting into them, how much she constantly wanted to be in their presence. While Artemis would talk about how Jason didn’t deserve the darling, how they needed someone better to take care of them, protect them and love them more than he could. She’d have no problem questioning him and whether he was capable of being what they really needed, or if it was her who should take his place instead and be what the darling could truly count on. Either way, Jason isn’t putting up with it and he will throw hands or pull the trigger. He’s not just going to lie down and let anyone take the best thing in his life away from him.
Tim would pick up on his darling’s behavior pretty quickly. He always watches them out the corner of his eye and is very aware of even the slightest change in them so he’d know something wasn’t right probably before his darling even came to the conclusion themself. Not only would he pick up on something being wrong in general but also what may be affecting them. He’d take up being more outwardly affectionate with them, giving them all his attention and just overall spending more time with them before he confronts them about how they’ve been acting and feeling lately. When you tell him that you’ve been feeling pretty jealous of Stephanie or Cassie recently he can’t help but inquire why. He’s racking his brain trying to think of what he did or when he did it to make you think he would want anything more than a work partnership with either of them. Sure, did he have a past with both girls? Yes, but he had you now and you were all he wanted or needed anymore. You had nothing to worry about regarding Stephanie or Cassie, Tim was all yours and no one could ever come between you and him. But Tim would vow to do better by you, he wouldn’t hold back on showing all his love and adoration for you. You would feel just how much he genuinely and truly loves you, so much so you’ll drown in it all, unable to feel anything other than his love for you.
Now regarding Stephanie and Cassie having their own obsession for Tim’s darling, Tim would be very on edge about it. Just the thought of anyone, let alone people as close to him as Steph and Cassie, taking his darling away from him is enough to give him more anxiety then he’s already got going on. But the thought of his darling being so much happier and better off with either of them is something that would haunt Tim to no end. He’d become insecure himself but he’d do everything in his power to keep his darling away from Stephanie and Cassie, ensuring his darling wouldn’t abandon him for them or anyone else for that matter.
Damian would be similar to Jason in that his darling was one of the few people he felt he could bring his walls down for and open himself up to them. He’s afraid of them realizing how truly damaged he is and deciding to leave him because of it, leaving him alone and heartbroken (not like he’d let that happen). So when he notices them acting unusual, becoming closed off especially towards him, Damian’s immediate thought is that they’re going to abandon him. Something must have finally sunk in or it’s hit them that he’s not worth their time and love anymore. Either way, he’s panicked for what’s about to come but he does the most to keep himself in check cause if you’re going to leave he needs to be quick to act. Damian wait until he’s got you all alone before confronting you but before you can explain yourself he’s already bombarding you with how much he loves you and what all he’s done for you along with other things. How could you think of leaving him when you’ve been the best thing he’s had for the longest time? What did he do to not be enough for you anymore? Did you ever truly love him to begin with? Do you hate him? It would have to take his darling hugging him or kissing him to get him to shut up and once he does they speak up about how they’d been feeling recently, about how insecure they’d become over Raven and his close relationship. Now it’s Damian’s turn to hug/kiss his beloved darling but he’s not doing it so much as to shut them up but out of relief and happiness at the fact that they hadn’t even thought about leaving him. He tells them that he is solely and utterly devoted to them and only them, he couldn’t want for anything more than what they already give him and their mere existence. That he would do absolutely anything for them and that there are already somethings he has done for them that they don’t know about but that’s not here or there. Raven is only a friend and that’s all. His darling is the only beloved in his life and that’s how it will always be. He’d vow to never make them feel like anything less than what they are and they are everything to him. Damian would do anything to prove his complete and utter adoration and devotion to his darling and he is extremely devoted. After everything’s calmed down and the two of you are basking in one another, he would tell you with absolute conviction that if you were to ever leave him, he wasn’t going to give up on you or getting you back. He’s completely serious and you know that but that’s what you love about him.
Damian would feel completely betrayed if he ever knew that Raven was obsessed with his darling and wanted them for herself. Like maybe there could have been some kind of agreement but that’s completely off the table now. He’s well aware of what Raven is capable of but he wasn’t lying when he said he’d do anything for his darling, even if that means putting and end to someone he once called a friend. He wouldn’t want it to come down to that but if it did his darling was of the utmost importance to him and that’s what he would fight for.

I’m in a Batfam mood so I’ll put this here for if Batfam comes back around but I am stuck on the idea of Tim or Damian specifically seeing platonic!darling as like, a twin.
For Tim it’d happen if Batsis was his equal in intelligence, can match his wit and tenacity and his strategic mind. Darling is his fresh eyes on a project, can pick apart his mood with a glance. It’d be more difficult to get this darling to his side because Batsis just /knows/ him and /knows/ what he’s planning, but that just drives Tim more. He needs them by his side, because how else would they be so in sync if they were not of the same mind?
For Damian, it would be because Batsis is his opposite. The yin to his yang, the water to his fire, the light in the dark, so on so forth. Damian would be in jealous awe at how easy it is for Batsis to be social and bright, so giving and good. He’d want to be with them constantly because they weren’t anything like him. They can trust without paranoia, can smile even if they’re in pain. If the two are young enough then Batsis is the one person he can be a child with. He needs them to love him because it’s so easy for them to love. He refuses to share it with anyone else.
Idk it’s just. The extreme love of a yandere that literally thinks of their darling as their other half, split down the middle and their mind breaks a little when the darling doesn’t agree. Can’t Batsis see? Even if they weren’t biologically related, they were meant to be one.
I really love this concept! Being someone’s other half doesn’t strictly have to be romantic and to mix the yandere-ness into it just adds so much more to the intensity of it.
Tim feels like his darling is his missing piece, when they’re together no matter what they fit so perfectly and he can’t help but love the feeling of being complete. He’s grateful that they know him as well as they do, at least before his obsession has set in. He appreciates that he doesn’t have to tell them how he’s feeling or what exactly he’s thinking for them to just understand him right away. Tim can’t quite explain his overwhelming connection to the Reader but he absolutely clings onto it, onto them. But given how intelligent the Reader is they’ll be more than likely to pick up on his obsession which will only cause them to distance themself from Tim, resulting in him only being further plunged into his obsession all the more. How could he possibly let his other half pull away from him? How could he just allow himself to lose that feeling of being whole? He can’t and he won’t. It’s during this time that Tim finds himself resenting that the Reader does indeed know him so well, that they can so easily read him as well as they can, but then again that’s what made them so similar and what worked for them to begin with. Not only can the Reader read him and know him like the back of their hand, Tim can do the same with them. It’s very much a back and forth thing between the two, their own little game really. It would be hard to know who made the first move or had the first thought out of the two given how eerily in sync they are. But Tim may just have to up the ante if he wants to keep his darling with him and protect that feeling of fulfillment he has because of them. He may have to stray from his and his darling’s similarity, especially in how they think and react for him to be able to be one step ahead of them and ensure they stay right where they are in his life.
Damian at first is filled with only envy and resentment at just how easy it comes for the Reader to make friends, to interact with anyone they come into contact with, to be able to freely express themselves how they please while he has to keep himself under wraps and remain guarded because that’s how he’s been conditioned. He use to find himself perplexed by just how the Reader couldn’t be overcome with the utter need to watch their back, to look over their shoulder, to question the intentions of each and everyone they crossed paths with. He just thought that they were too soft and clueless about the true evils of the world but eventually he found himself falling into a different rhythm with them. He still can’t fully comprehend how they could possibly come to love and care for him like they have but then again that was just how they were.
He didn’t have to prove himself to his darling for them to see and know him for who he really was and the purpose he had. Damian didn’t have to do anything but exist for them to give him a chance to be a part of their life and he couldn’t be more grateful for it. And he would do anything to continue to stay in their life, especially if that meant keeping others from being able to. Damian sees the Reader as something to protect, they’re just too good and pure compared to him and he wants to do everything in his power to keep them that way. He in no way, shape, or form wants to share their love and attention, and given how freely they give it all away to such undeserving people, Damian can’t help but feel threatened that someone else will come along and steal his place and be what his darling needs. And because of that he’ll ward off anyone and everyone from even coming close to being able to do just that. He’s able to finally be himself with someone, to show them who and what he truly is deep down. Damian is finally able to let himself go, to drop his guard and breakdown his walls for someone and he’s not just going to allow for someone to take that away from him. Damian found his place, a sense of being accepted and loved, something that really feels like a home to him and he’s not going to let go of it.
