Fujioka Haruhi

👑​Haruhi differs from the rest of the Host Club, not only because she is the only biologically female host but also because she didn't grow up in a wealthy environment. She's far more down to earth and honest which is why she is able to show the most leniency to her darling. Her concern for your hygiene and overall behavior stems less from her expectation how a woman should behave and act in school and more from how she believes everyone regardless of gender should act. She doesn't want you to shower with the finest soap and dress up in the most expensive clothes as she didn't dress up properly either when she initially entered the school due to her circumstances but Haruhi still thinks that there should be a minimum that you should at least fulfill and she won't ask of you to go beyond that. She is very blunt though with this small request of hers as she doesn't tiptoe her way around this conversation with you. Responsible and practical as she is she will showcase a lot of patience as she tries to help as well as teach you on how to behave at least a bit more respectful in public as well as teach you how to take better care of your hygiene.

Suoh Tamaki

🌹​Tamaki is crying tears because of you more than just once. He is used to the refined ladies swooning over him an using his princely charm to persuade every woman's heart yet all of his advances fly straight over your head as you couldn't care less, something that hurts his pride. His expectations and wishes for an overall betterment of your life and behavior are higher than those of Haruhi though he wouldn't want you to change your entire personality as he finds some characteristics of yours weirdly charming. Unfortunately his father happens to be the chairman of Ouran Academy and so he knows of the many complaints other parents and students submit to him due to your intolerable behavior and he doubts that his father would allow him to take you as his partner. So as the passionate and stubborn man that he is he decides to teach you himself all with the excuse that it will benefit you greatly. In reality his main motive is that he needs you to fit in better so that no one will have great complaints about him loving you, proving that he is also on a more egotistical side just as you are. Tamaki is clingy and confrontational about it all, at times almost as selfish and self-motivated as you are.

Ootori Kyouya

💴​Kyouya normally claims that he only helps people if it benefits him yet there are no material advantages to be gained as he dedicates his forced help to you as his main motivation is his expectant obsession. He has the highest expectations from all hosts and is partially almost repulsed that from all ladies it is you who caught his eyes. His father would never allow him to marry you and Kyouya himself can't sit still as long as you are as vulgar and gross in appearance as well as behavior. He's diligent and calculating, has an entire schedule for you where he plans to teach you on how to be a better person. He constantly makes notes on your behavior and methods how to have you behave in a more lady-like manner and uses your self-motivated behavior against you to bribe you to tag along with his ideas and wishes even if this doesn't work all of the time. It is quite hard to blackmail you and find an efficient way to have you listen more and whilst it is probably quite tasteless to others Kyouya knows that this is one of the best methods to keep you in line as you are mainly driven by your own desire and emotions. He'll give you more freedom once you stop behaving like a savage.

Haninozuka Mitsukuni

🍯​His childish appearance normally results in the women in the Host Club babying him and gushing over his cuteness yet none of that works on you as you rudely tell him off or ignore him and Honey has actually broken down in tears a couple of times due to it as he is a sensitive soul. He's very carefully tried to see if he could guilt-trip you with his tears one time only to arrive at the conclusion that you are not a very sentimental soul when you ignored him. All of his approachs that would usually work on women don't work on you and he spends a good day pouting about it, deeply upset as he stuffs cake in his face to deal with the frustration. Despite his dimwitted looks at times Honey isn't naive though so when he realises that you are driven by greed he tries a different approach by enticing you with all the cakes that he consumes and he isn't surprised to see that it works well with you devouring all the sweets he offers you. Now that he has managed to find a way to keep you by his side he struggles though to get further with you as you are childish without any trace of maturity that he possesses and don't respond to his advices, your words only hurting him even if he tries to remain optimistic.

Morinozuka Takashi

💪​Mori may not be the most talkative individual but that doesn't take away from his concern in regards to you. He has spent a lot of time simply observing you as you are commonly refered to as the black skeep of this academy who puts shame on their traditions and values and as much as he feels protective of you and adores you he can't defend you in this regard. You lack the bare minimum of politeness and do whatever you want without any regard to anyone else and constantly lie to bring yourself out of troubles and he has been the biggest victim of it. Mori often accompanies you in hopes of preventing you from breaking things or disrespecting and angering others and whenever you got in troubles you always pushed all the blame on him without even giving it any thought. You're lucky that Mori is as patient as he is as probably no one else would have been able to deal with you for as long as he did. He's not only extremely patient but also very persistent in his constant attempts to teach you how to behave better. Sometimes though he does get a tad bit more intimidating and uses his strong body built against you to scare you off if you manage to push him around a bit too much.

Hitachiin Hikaru

🩵​Hikaru proves to be one who perhaps finds himself struggling the most with his darling. Having grown up being co-dependent on his twin brother he often finds himself struggling with others and this is especially bad due to behavior. You end up hurting Hikaru's feelings more than once as you pay zero attention to him or simply ignore his attempts to get closer to you, your attention fickle as you show interest in other things even when he is trying to have a conversation with you. This often ends with Hikaru angrily stormig away, unable to deal with the pain you inflicted on him by acting as if a mere object is more interesting than he is. As someone who tends to be jealous as it is this only increases this tendency of his as it not only is limited to people anymore but also to objects that fascinate you and catch your attention. Alongside with this increase of jealousy his nervousness also spikes up a good bit as he starts feeling terrified to approach you again, afraid to be hurt once more which is slowly but surely taking a toll on his own self-confidence. In an attempt to get through you though he starts indulging you in your superficiality by buying you all sorts of useless trinkets.

Hitachiin Kaoru

🧡​Kaoru may keep up the mischievous and playful charade when him and Hikaru are together yet despite being the younger twin he is far more level-headed than his older brother is. This doesn't mean that he can expertly handle you but at least he shows a degree of self-control unlike his older brother and doesn't run away when it gets too much. It's still very difficult to deal with you, especially since you are the opposite of what Ouran Academy expects of its female students and whilst Kaoru also doesn't expect nor want you to be the lady of all ladies it would be nice to see you behaving a bit more properly since sometimes you do gross him out with your behavior as well as lack of body hygiene. He doesn't try to be as shallow as his older brother though and attempts to gain your attention and at least a fraction of your obedience by indulging you in your greedy and selfish superficiality but instead attempts to do it the harder way by convincing you to try to be a bit more proper. He is no idealistic fool though. As soon as Kaoru realises that mere nice words don't seem to work on you he will resort to other methods to get you to force listening to his advices a bit more.

Honey is a tactical, clinging and manipulative yandere.

He would deny others really sweet and innocent.

But this could not be further from the truth.

Honey fell in love with the fact that you see him as an adult.

Yes Honey loves to be sweet and childish but he is also much more.

And you are one of the few people who see it.

Honey wants to be with you 24/7.

He's really clingy.

Indeed, you are always together.

Usually Honey holds you by the hand or is in your lap.

He makes it clear to everyone else that you are his girl/boy /non-binaryfriend.

Even if you don't agree.

And indeed, those people who try to “sabotage” your relationship get at least one broken bone.

Honey really knows how to take advantage of his childlike appearance.

No one will surely believe if you or someone else tries to tell you about his “bad” tendencies.

If you didn’t try to leave this “relationship,” Honey wouldn’t kidnap you.

No need because he is always with you and knows what you are doing.

Mitsukuni Haninozuka was an innocent angel to the publics' eye. He could do no wrong because of this facade, which is why it surprised you considerably when your boyfriend revealed his inner-self. That being in the form of a shimmering birdcage located in his mansion's basement. 

The blond never wanted to confine you in this way before. He had wanted to live freely with you, like every other couple that passed by the two of you. His mindset grew darker the more he thought of you, his love for you becoming an obsession.

He never wanted to leave your side, never wanted to see you near anyone else, but still wanted your relationship to be picture perfect. He wanted to have the stereotypical white-picket-fence, quiet, and domestic life with you. 

Unbeknownst to you and the rest of the world, his sweet persona was just a facade created to hide the darkness underneath. It was, but a piece of art, painted over and over again until it was perfected. It was unnatural to be as bubbly as his persona depicted, so he found it odd that no one caught on. Even you, his loving partner, hadn't caught on. 

In a way, your obliviousness only made it easier for him to do sickening things behind your back. He'd take dirty clothes from your hamper, watch you sleep through the crack in your blinds, and rest on your bed whenever you left your apartment. Your scent that lingered on the bedding comforted him. 

He knew that he could always visit you, but there was something satisfactory about not getting caught. He enjoyed the adrenaline that flowed through his veins every time he snuck into your apartment, be it for a short or quick visit. 

The blond currently lay on your mattress, his arms wrapped around your pillow. He inhaled its scent, loving how it still smelled strongly of you. He had at least an hour until he had to meet you in the club room, so he still had time to savour the comfort that your bedroom gave him. 

Your cat hopped up onto the mattress and lay next to him. The room was silent besides the blond's softening breaths and the quiet purrs from your cat. They remained that way for quite some time, both enjoying each other's company as they drifted into a soundless sleep.

Mitsukuni's eyes fluttered open once his cellphone alarm went off. The noise elicited an annoyed sigh from the blond, for it meant he had to leave your bed and scent behind. 

The blond sleepily slipped out of bed, shivering upon feeling the cold panelling against his naked feet. He clumsily hopped about your bedroom as he pulled his socks on. His movements were awkward and uncoordinated, nearly ending with him faceplanting into your wall. 

He slipped on his shoes and proceeded to exit your apartment, making sure to lock the door behind him so you wouldn't get suspicious. Once done, he began his trek to the Ouran school building. 

You sat across from Mitsukuni, a steaming glass of tea and a platter of strawberry cake in front of you. This time of day was always peaceful, for you both could appreciate each other's company with luxurious treats. 

"How were your lessons today, [your name]?" The blond asked in between forkfuls of cake. His eyes shimmered with enthusiasm and curiosity as he waited for your response.

"Overall, they were okay." You responded with an indifferent shrug. You pushed your cake around with your fork before placing the piece of cutlery down. "Rather exhausting due to the number of exams, but that's to be expected." 

From the time lessons had started until the end of the school day, you were swamped with exams. It was as if every teacher planned to do so today just so their students could suffer. While you knew that wasn't true, and it all had to do with timing, you still liked to theorize fictitious things such as that. 

Your boyfriend reached out and took hold of your hand in an effort to console you. "It'll get better, [your name]." He stroked your hand with his thumb, a radiant smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Someday, you won't have to deal with the stress that school brings. It'll just be you and me and your adorable cat!"

"That sounds like a dream." You gave the boy a small smile in response. He was such a sweetheart to you, and you appreciated that about him.

Mitsukuni's heart fluttered upon witnessing your smile. He had always loved your smile. The action was small and effortless, something anyone could do, but you made it something special. "You're so adorable." He exclaimed. 

His words left you a blushing, flustered mess. He had always gone out of his way to compliment you and express his love verbally, and you loved that about him. He frequently made you feel special, and you only hoped you could accomplish half of what he could with you. You wanted him to know how much he meant to you, but you never had the words to describe how you felt. 

You two sat quietly with only the background noise of chattering guests and hosts keeping you in the real world. 

You jolted awake, nearly cowering at the sharp pain in your head. Your head ached, and you were confused as to where you were. You didn't remember returning home, nor did you remember falling asleep. 

You rubbed at your eyes in hopes to relinquish any lasting drowsiness. The action didn't help much, only causing your vision to blur somewhat. 

You took in your surroundings, finding that you weren't in your bedroom, but locked in what looked like an oversized birdcage. The room smelt musty, and it was because of that, that you concluded you were located in a basement somewhere. That and the absence of windows made it quite clear that you were underground. 

You peered through the bars of the birdcage, only to be met with concrete walls. You pushed yourself off of the mattress you awoke on and approached the door of the cage. You ran your fingers over the cold metal, only stopping once you reached the hinges of the door. You tugged on it weakly, knowing that it was going to be locked. Only an unintelligent person would leave their captive's door unlocked, and even then, that was very rare.

You turned your back on the door and peered around at the furniture before you. An expensive-looking mattress adorned with a beige bed sheet sat in the corner of the cage. Directly across from that was a small bookshelf. You approached the object and ran your fingers across the book covers. The titles were more than familiar, for you had read each one far too many times to count. 

"You told me you liked them, so I made sure to get them for you." 

You jumped at the sound of your captor's voice. You turned around quickly, your frightened eyes meeting with those of your boyfriend's. "Mitsukuni?" 

The blond smiled at you, the sound of keys jingling breaking the silence before it could even begin. He unlocked the cage door and approached you. 

You stood stoic, staring straight ahead and not flinching when your boyfriend made his approach. You refused to show weakness. "What's going on?" You inhaled sharply at the feeling of his hand on your shoulder. 

"I'm not proud of it, per se, but it was something that needed to be done." The blond gazed at you in an adoring way. 

"This isn't you-"

"This is me, [your name]. This is just your first time seeing it." He carded a hand through your hair in an attempt to comfort you. "I know it's not what you expected, but you have to accept it. If you love me, you will." He brushed his thumb over your cheek, a look of hurt appearing in his eyes when you flinched away. 

"I do love you," You whispered, voice cracking as you spoke. "I just don't see why this," You paused, motioning to the birdcage you were trapped inside. "Has to be something I have to accept. You don't have to keep me trapped here, Mitsukuni. We can get our own house after we graduate and live there together." 

"[your name], I know that this isn't ideal, but please be reasonable. I made my decision when I locked you in here. Just think of it as a vacation, okay?" 

You stood absolutely still, and you closed your eyes, your breath stuttering. You were scared but were trying so hard not to be. The man before you was your boyfriend; you just had to remember that. He wouldn't do anything to purposefully hurt you, regardless of who he secretly was inside. 

"Are you okay?" The blond cupped your cheek gently. He was concerned with how still you were. He knew you would be shocked, but he hoped you would accept him shortly afterwards. Clearly, he was incorrect, for you didn't trust him. "You don't love me anymore, do you?" He sniffled at the thought, eyes overflowing with tears. 

He backed away from you, tripping over his own feet and crashing to the floor. "I know you don't love me anymore." He sobbed into his hands, his tears dripping from his chin onto the carpeted floor beneath him. 

You stared, wide-eyed at the broken boy before you. You still loved him, that much you knew. You were just afraid of what he was capable of. For god's sake, he locked you inside of an oversized birdcage. 

You unsurely approached the blond. You crouched down upon reaching him and pulled him into your lap. He immediately curled into you, his head resting on your shoulder as he continued to cry. "I do love you," You murmured. "Nothing can stop me from loving you, not even this."

You gently rubbed the blond's back. "I just need you to stop crying, okay? It's going to be okay." You didn't know if the latter was correct, for you couldn't predict what may occur in the future. The only thing you knew, at that point in time, was that you still loved the boy, and you wouldn't let your current situation get in the way of that.

You always disliked the idea of arranged marriage. Sure, it had its benefits: you wouldn’t have to exert too many efforts in searching for a potential partner and his wealth was already established to ensure a secure future. However, it took away the freedom and joy to know what kind of person your spouse was. Because, regardless of his personality, you would still marry him in the end. Royalties didn’t care much about whether you were fully suitable for him, or if he was a good person deep inside. They were more concerned about his demeanor – the mask he displayed to the world – or if he had vast possessions.

And as much as you refused to badmouth your own parents, they were still one of those royalties.

Fortunately, they weren’t superficial enough to send you off to an equally shallow man. They had run a background check on every man who had proposed you, and they concluded that Haninozuka from the Mitsukuni Kingdom suited you very well.

And, well, they weren’t entirely wrong.

Haninozuka, or ‘Honey’ as he had insisted you to call, was a perennial optimist who you rarely encountered among haughty and bratty princes. Though, his height and visage resembled more of a child than an eighteen-year-old teenager your parents had informed you beforehand. He, as you had observed, was very fond of confectioneries and cute things. He even carried around a pink bunny doll named ‘Usagi-chan’ that you learned was a gift from his late grandmother, and something he was protective of.

And due to said behaviors, too, you began to consider him as a little brother. Instead, you had a crush on a boy from the Hitachiin Kingdom, Kaoru, who you met on a ball several months ago.

Despite being younger, Kaoru was more mature and insightful than his older brother. You had stumbled upon him sitting in the gazebo when you sought for a break after a tedious small talk with other nobles, blissfully stargazing. Under the iridescent stars and nippy night air, you both chatted with each other until Hikaru came and told him to go home. The farewell tasted bittersweet on your tongue as you waved, thanking him for the delightful company. However, a grin from him promptly diminished the melancholy and loneliness that suffocated your chest.

And under the crepuscular sky, you wondered if you could marry him instead.

Honey didn’t know about this secret, forbidden feeling. At least, that was what you had assumed. He appeared the same as always; playing dolls, drinking teas, and chatting about whatever came to his mind. Although you despised being forced to marry a stranger, his lighthearted attitude had changed your opinion slightly.

Until you noticed his smile grew a bit duller than usual.

“[Name]-chan,” All trace of ebullience disappeared the moment he spoke up after a lull. “you like Kaoru-chan, don’t you?”

You couldn’t resist the way your eyes dilated once he inquired about it. Swallowing quietly, you mustered a lie. The first lie you would utter to your future husband. The first lie to conceal your complicated emotions. The first lie that would soon become your downfall. “Of course not.”

He hummed. “That wasn’t what it looked like, though.” Your brows twitched, but you managed to control the confusion. “The way you stared at him that night… I’d say you like him, or love him, even.”

You sucked in a surprised breath through your teeth. How did he know that you encountered Kaoru during the ball? You were sure nobody was in the garden aside from you both. Could he be-?

“It’s not nice to lie, you know?” He pouted playfully despite the faint darkness that swirled in his glittering pupils. “Especially for your fiancé. What would your parents say later?” He shook his head. “They’d surely be disappointed in you.”

“What are you going to do?” you whispered.

“I won’t do anything if you do something for me first.” When you slowly raised your head, Honey leaned forward until his face was millimeters away from yours. “Forget about Kaoru-chan and pay attention to me.”

Your lips quivered as you struggled to speak.

“Can you do that? I think it’s simple enough. In fact, it’s already expected of you. Unless…” Honey glanced around the spacious room. “You want to be stubborn and risk staining your reputation and heart.”

“What do you mean?”

He pursed his lips as if he was contemplating whether he should tell you or not. “Well, let’s just say, another girl has stolen his heart. Do you know Haruhi-chan?”

When you gingerly shook your head, he continued. “She’s a commoner, actually. But, somehow, she managed to differentiate between him and Hikaru-chan; something that others struggled to do. And from there onwards, both of them fell in love. Do you think it’s worth pursuing someone who has already been smitten by another person when you already have one who’s willing to make you happy? Someone who will give you their undivided attention?”

You went quiet.

“Think about it, [Name]-chan.”

“I…” He tilted his head questioningly, and you found yourself intimidated by the simple gesture. You licked your dry lips and nodded. “… Yes.”

His expression instantly lit up. “There! That wasn’t so hard, was it?” Honey stabbed a slice of red velvet and gently fed you. “Don’t worry. I’ll be here to guide you so you won’t stray again, [Name]-chan.”

Dark Knights, Darker Queens (YanSim x Ouran Host Club)

This is a list of headcanons I wanted to publish for a Yandere Sim x Ouran Host Club crossover story I’m currently developing. It’s mostly highlighting things on the Yan Sim side of things I wanted to clarify for the sake of the narrative I’m trying to create.

-Ryoba and Ayano are still very much yanderes, though toned down. Still obsessive and protective with their respective loves. They will resort to less than nice means (if or when necessary) to get what they want. Both are aware of their ‘condition’ (Aishi Curse), but actively work to bettering themselves

-Ayano is very protective of her small group of friends (Oka, Midori and Kuu).

-She’s a member of the karate club, not the martial arts club. That name always bothered me, please be specific in what martial art that club practices.

-Ayano has a rep among the students in Akademi as one of the toughest girls (but not the toughest) in school, much too her chagrin.

-Taro had awoken emotions in her and because she was conditioned to believe that the one to awake them in the first place will be her love, but she ultimately lost out to Osana, due to Budo talking her down from any nefariousness.

-Budo also helped her through her feelings for Taro, helping recognize that she didn’t love him, more so the idea of what he represented.

-Oka and Nekozawa are cousins.

-Yan Dad (working name) had a crush on Ryoba since middle school. Due to her being emotionless, he always perceived her as being unapproachable due to her aloofness and that crush went unrequited for years.

-He got a little more courageous in high school and had the good sense to confess to her first, before any nefariousness could go down. He noticed she wasn’t as aloof as she appeared as they began to date.

-He also noticed she was a little ‘erratic’ when concerned with other women. He eventually developed a strategy to deal with this (lest he see his wife in prison): He picks her up bridal style, carrying her away from the situation. She usually responds snuggling up to him further as he does so.

-Yan Dad doesn’t fear his wife, he’s supportive of her and helps her work through her issues.

-Both are very supportive and loving of Ayano.

-There’s no occult club.

-Info-Chan has a rep outside of Akademi.

-Honey’s bested Budo in competition every time they’ve faced each other and Budo is very familiar with Honey and Mori personally.

-Nemesis-Chan is a regular student, though she mostly acts as Info-Chan’s muscle.
