What Lurks in the Dark (Vivia)

✧ Notes: There were a less fanfics for Raincode, especially the yandere ones... so I plan to write more for my Yandere Raincode fanfics. The Moon’s white light shines through the intricate-framed windows, shining down on the golden candles. A beautiful scenery to behold indeed. The candles flicker in the warm dim room, the milky white wax slowly dribbling down and the bright honey-tinted flame on top flowing along with the cold midnight air. "Tell me, darling, what truly lurks in the darkness?"

✦ To VIVIA, you were as lovely as a crimson red rose. The first one to ever approach him without fear or hatred in your eyes at all. He considers you as the most special person in his life, with Yakou falling second. (lmao)

✦ VIVIA would try and get closer to you, even accompanying you as your partner in solving cases. Upon learning about your pact with a Death God, he often tries to hold your hand whilst you investigate the crime scene.

✦ His romantic love for you soon grows into a sickly obsession, causing him to become more and more possessive. The other detectives soon grow distant from you, leaving you alone all by yourself, with nobody but him on your side. If you die, there’s no point in living anymore.

✦ VIVIA is the type who’d stalk you, either using Spectral Projection or following after you in his physical form. He feels the need to protect you from others, believing he’s all that you need.

✦ He starts to act much more coldhearted and stoic to the others (aside from Yakou), but behaves more warmly and kind towards you.

✦ Sometimes you’d feel as if something like a cold ghostly figure was embracing you from behind as you venture through the rainy streets of Kanai Ward. Shinigami, however, doesn’t say a single word. It’s as if she’s uneasy or even scared of something.

In the once warm room, the burning and glimmering flame of candles illuminating the room slowly fades out as the cold winter air rushes inside. As a result, the room becomes cold and gloomy without a trace of warmth. Yet the Moon continues to shine brightly in the night sky, accompanied by lovely stars beside its figure. "Your lips were soft like rhinestones, warm and loving."

makoto is well aware that you are a master detective when he first meets you

and yet, he can't help himself from falling for you

he knows that this will only lead to trouble, the ceo of amaterasu falling in love with a master detective of the world detective organization

but when he looks at you, he can't help but forget all the problems this could cause and instead wonders what it would be like if you belonged to him…

as the ceo of amaterasu corporation, makoto has an easy time getting closer to you, even without revealing who he is

occasionally he sends some peacekeepers after you, only to then show up unannounced and save you from them

it's such an easy way to get close to you and win your trust~ 

makoto also offers to help you with any cases you might be working on! 

he does want the culprit to get the punishment they deserve, but he can also monitor your activities this way and make sure you never get too close to finding out he's with amaterasu corporation

luckily you haven't figured out yet who he is and makoto plans to keep it a secret for much longer

he first wants to make you fall in love with him and make sure you are loyal to him, before revealing his true identity to you…

hello! this is the anon with the "u inspire me to write an self aware au". ive been thinking of making a seperate blog (bcus im planning to delete my current one soon, its a bit empty and i ended up not liking it) just for yandere and i really want to make a ramble post about yan self aware au with trickstar bcus i had this one idea that wont go away then tag u bcus again, u inspire me with ur writings. someday. im away from my current home and didnt bring my laptop cuz didnt expect to take long

And oooh Trickstar! I'm definitely interested in reading what you have to say about them! I've mentioned them in passing one or two times but I don't think I ever really did an indepth post about them. So please do feel free to share, I'll definitely be reading it when you post it 😊

And oof I feel that so bad with the laptop because funnily enough, I was in the exact same position for the last two months. I went to Belgium for 2 months and only packed a company laptop which I didn't want to use to write fanfic for obvious reasons ( I would also have to log in to the company VPN for internet to even work). So all I had the last two months to write was my phone, which wasn't really ideal 😅

It's one of the reasons why I haven't really been posting any writing recently, though I have typed up quite a bit for a pretty long post, though it's not for a fandom I've written for before. If you happen to be into Raincode, I guess you're in luck though 😌

I hope I can write and post some more when I'm back at home with my laptop. Hope you'll also be able to write soon ^^

And yes, rambling posts can be so fun, I love doing them to just get an idea out there in the world that I've been thinking about a lot but haven't written an elaborate piece for yet. It's also why I tend to prefer headcanon posts compared to fics, it allows me to just spill all the ideas and thoughts I have at once!

makoto is a dangerous yandere, but he would never lay a finger on you! 

he's doing a lot of bad things and he is very much aware that what he is doing isn't good, but he can excuse it, because it's for your sake! 

due to his high position in kanai ward, he can allow himself to do almost anything he wants, knowing nobody could punish him for it

makoto has a friendly relationship with most people he knows, including the peacekeepers, but as soon as he hears one of them talk about you inappropriately…

let's just say they'll end up in the restricted area and none of them have ever returned from there~ 

he just wants to set an example on those people who dare objectify you or talk negatively about you

if they know what's good for them, they won't even dare to say your name out loud or even think about you

anyone who is close to makoto therefore tries to stay as far away from you as possible and makoto tells you it's because he wants to keep his work and his private life separate

to outsiders, makoto seems very dangerous and like he could just as easily turn on you, if you upset him, but this couldn't be further from the truth

makoto would never hurt you! he wouldn't even think about hurting you! he couldn't even live with himself if he hurt you by accident! 

makoto does everything he does for your sake and he'd even sacrifice himself if you'd ask for it

he loves you like he never loved anyone else and he couldn't live without you, so he'd gladly die to protect you!

makoto also wouldn't do anything that could make you sad, like hurting your loved ones

killing peacekeepers who talked inappropriately about you is fine for him, but he wouldn't dare hurt your friends, even if they get too friendly with you

makoto trusts you and knows you wouldn't betray him! 

but if he ends up being wrong and you'd dare leave him for someone else, then you better start running or you won't live for much longer…
