Succession Characters as Yanderes
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: Hey, I'm just having fun here. If this isn't your kind of content, block me! General TW for very unhealthy relationships and uneven power dynamics (obviously) as well as mentions of drugs/non-consensual drugging/drug addiction, kidnapping, and baby-trapping.
Tumblr media
Kendall's characterization as a yandere changes with his mood. When he is in one of his manic highs, he's entirely delusional. He's convinced that you're meant to be together. Any resistance from you just means he needs to try harder to win you over. He'll be way too excessive in said attempts—overly expensive gifts and dinners at restaurants that no one can get a table in. One day you'll reminisce about this together, he's sure, laughing about those days when you were playing hard to get.
He will probably try to get you to quit your current job to join Waystar (or whatever else he is working on, depending on where he is in the timeline). If you're in school, he will want to pay for it, but he'll expect you to change your degree to something that suits that sort of business career path. He wants you next to him at all times, both so he knows that you're safe and for his own selfish enjoyment of your presence. (Something something cage door.) He will want you to move in with him as well, and if you don't want to... well, I wouldn't put it past him to use his money and political pull as a billionaire to kidnap you.
When he is low, he is more rational. He'll feel guilty about the way he has hijacked your life, tied you down with a POS such as himself. Of course, as he is Kendall, he'll make this your problem—sort of moping around near you in hopes that you've gone stockholm-syndrome enough to comfort him. I mean, he's just trying to make your life better, right?
Tumblr media
Shiv think she's a discreet, expert chess-master. She's really not, and it probably makes it all the more disturbing to be on the receiving end of her affections. I think she probably was simply physically attracted to you at first before quickly spiraling into all-out obsession. She'll play it cool, almost cold in-person, but she's sending you texts at all hours of the day. Your coworkers are suddenly avoiding you, looking frightened. Shiv is half-fawning and half-furious, she can't decide whether she wants to have you happy and all for herself or ruin your life for making her feel this way. She's stronger than this, after all, isn't she?
I think how this will turn out will depend on your reaction. If you fall for her too, she can find an equilibrium. She needs to have someone wholly on her side, and if she feels that's you, she can handle it. She probably won't treat you right, you'll be the spoiled dog on her bed, but hey, that's better than the floor, right? (Now Shiv gets her own Greg, #feminism). But if you keep rejecting her, she will flip her lid. She'll probably settle for screwing your life over then showing up once a month to flaunt what you're missing (while secretly hoping that'll you will finally say you love her this time).
Tumblr media
Roman is pathetic. Of course he's pathetic, what did you expect? Similar to Shiv, he'll be horrible in-person—with verbal sexual harassment turned up to eleven. Backhanded compliments will be sandwiched in-between vulgar comments. If anyone even looks at you twice, you won't know it, but suddenly about a million or two has been put aside by Rome to ruin their life. Roman isn't really able to convey his feelings, uh, normally, so all of this will build up until the dam inevitably breaks. He will probably ask you in-between phone calls or over lunch if you want to be his partner in a wayyyyy too practiced casual tone. If you say yes, you will probably get a hysterical giggle and a much more tolerable Roman in the future. If you say no, expect a "god, I can't believe you fell for that" and quite a few insults thrown your way over the rest of the day. He will ask again next week. And the week after that. And the week after that. You can take a joke, can't you?
Tumblr media
Connor... well, you've seen the show and his relationship with Willa, right? He is going to throw money at you until you love him. He doesn't need you to love him, even, he just needs you to be by his side. And unfortunately, that is something money can buy. Like Kendall, he will gladly put you through school, if you want, any program or degree. Are your grades dropping? After a few key donations they won't be! He wants you to pursue your passions, to be happy. He'll do his best to get you started in any field. Don't want to work? He can support you! But you're going to live at his ranch, and you're going to hold him when he's sad.
Tumblr media
Tom is pretty normal at first, almost an ideal romantic interest. He's very traditional and sweet. Stupid pet names, flowers and chocolates on all the holidays (and when you just happen to be sad!). Then, probably as stress of his work-life at Waystar begins to really take hold, his mask of normalcy begins to break apart. Once more, we have all seen the show—he wants to have a baby, whether you can have one or not. Adoption, surrogacy, there's plenty of alternatives if need be. If you can get pregnant, though, that's the option he's pushing. He cannot lose you, you have to be connected somehow no matter what happens. Oh, and if you're not married already, that's happening too, no time to waste. Suddenly, those comforting midwestern hugs of his seem a lot tighter.
Tumblr media
Stewy is a lot of fun until he is no longer fun. While most of the Roy family have the trouble of trying to jump too quickly from Stranger -> Lover, Stewy has no problem being your friend. Honestly, more than any of the yanderes on the list, he doesn't really care about the distinction between platonic/romantic/sexual, between friend/partner/married partner. As long as he's in your life rolling his eyes at stupid people and eating good food, he's happy. Sex and/or a relationship with you is bonus.
But I digress. He'll definitely want to get you in on the pleasures of life, little hedonist that he is. All the best restaurants, all the best events. He just likes seeing you happy. Now, all this fun includes the party scene as well, he's getting you into clubs that no one has heard of. Unfortunately, I think that will lead into what will be the biggest problem with a yandere Stewy—since he won't be a kidnapping control freak like some of the others on here, he needs something to keep you dependent on him, and I think he'll turn to drugs. There will be definitely be pressure from this man to try a whole host of designer drugs, after all, everyone's doing it, even him. Yeah, don't trust him with your drink, he'll slip something in then put it in his own drink as well, calling it a fun party night for you both.

watching a tv series you enjoy when yan chrollo's in the general vicinity is a dangerous gamble.
on one hand, you get the much needed mental reprieve from your subpar circumstances. throughout the episode's duration, you lose yourself in the narrative and reality fades into an insignificant blur. it might not bring about tangible change, but it makes your day to day more tolerable.
then chrollo slides in.
you expect him to interject unwanted commentary and ruin the viewing experience — he doesn't. he isn't just creepily staring at you for the 22 or 50 minutes either. chrollo might not laugh and cry at the writer's behest, but he's engaged. if the episode ends on a cliffhanger he'll share his theories for what happens next. it's annoying because he's so unfairly engaging. if you aren't mindful, you could easily sink hours into discussing the various characters and major plot points. he gives you insight you never would've thought of yourself, listens dutifully to your contributions and genuinely cares about getting your input.
it's disconcerting. you wish he'd just be weird and keep trying to touch your thighs or something so you could know it's all a means to an end. your every thought holds such significance to him and this causes a flurry of uncomfortable feelings.

Hey Lovess 💗💗💗
it's been such a long time 😭. So if y'all read this post:
This is another update on my personal life✨
As I stated in my other post, I said I would manifest a bestie, AND I DIDDDD 💗💗💗.
He is such a great friend and we share so many things in common. He also matches the list i made btw. but he has a gf 💀.
So I think it would be pretty weird if we were living together, so I decided i'm going to manifest another bf (me and my bf from the previous post broke up a while ago btw 😭).
So yeahh. I think I'm going to focus on the void after I move out, so right now I'm just focused on manifesting my bf.
I've been manifesting him for a month or two now.
I am manifesting a yandere boyfriend and I made a youtube channel, so if anyone else is manifesting a yandere then you can follow me if you want 😄💗💗💗
I haven't posted any videos yet, but I will be posting videos soon ✨
and if you were waiting for the post about how I manifested my bf (or ex 💀💀💀) then i'll post it there, so look forward to itt 💗💗💗

I qualify Ritsu as a Yandere BF but he doesn't act like it the way Izumi does because. He is a Successful Yandere Boyfriend. Mao wakes him up feeds him dresses him and gives him a piggyback ride to school every day for a decade now. Half the reason Mao became an idol was to spend more time with him. They have cute baking dates at the Sakuma Manor alongside Rei, whose only objection is that they should wait a couple years before marrying. Mao is so domesticated they can't be on the same room because by now he has a pavlovian response that makes him instinctually drop everything he's doing and pamper Ritsu on sight. Ritsu won.

i’m thinking of an insanely weird modern au where you’re a graduate student and childe is in your cohort. you’re nervous but excited to continue your education, and you’re determined to do well, so you tend to not pay too much attention to your male colleague (whose eyes have been on your for the better part of three years). one of your final seminars requires a collaborative project and presentation; you don’t get to pick your parter—you’re simply paired with “ajax.”
as smarmy and irritating as ajax is, he’s intelligent, and you get through your project painlessly. come the day of your presentation, though, all of your slides are messed up. you manage to stumble through and pass, while your partner gets an A for his excellent work. you both chalk this up to a fuck up with technology. even worse is when you get your collaborative essay back a few weeks later. you realize—to your horror—that your sections are all from your rough draft and not your final copy. ajax’s sections are all perfect, however. he was responsible for turning the paper in, and you decide to approach him with “evidence” of his wrong-doing.
how does ajax react? he looks concerned (though the emotion only tugs at his lips and doesn’t quite reach his ocean-deep eyes). he insists that he did nothing to your portion of the paper: how could you think so poorly of me? do i look like i want to fail the class? he convinces you all too well that either you sent him your unpolished copy, or that the submission portal messed up your work. as sure as you were of his guilt when you pulled him aside after class, fuming, you’re now believing the simpler truth—ajax couldn’t have sabotaged you. that would be ridiculous. who would go to such sinister lengths to hurt their peer’s grade and reputation?

Tom and Shiv as Yandere Parents
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: The poison drips through... no special TWs this time.
Oh, Tomshiv baby, you've got a big storm coming.
You're going to be spoiled as a child, there's no doubt about that. For Shiv, that's just normalcy. She has money, of course she's going to spend it on you too. Tom's family was far (FAR) from poor, but he hardly grew up with the wealth that the Roys did—he'll greatly enjoy raising you with that. He likes nice things, and he'll make sure you know nothing but them.
In Roy family tradition, you're going to have a weird nickname. I'm inclined to think Tom comes up with it, something taken out of his little Roman history phase—Constantine, for one of the arguable last Roman emperors. It sticks, much to Shiv's annoyance.
They're always competing for your affection. Like, genuinely competing. After they put you to bed for the night, they'll update the score on the way to a gala.
"Well, I don't mean to toot my own horn, but Constantine did say they thought that little robot I gave them last week was the best toy in the world." "Huh. Well, they said I was the prettiest mommy in the universe, so that's worth at least five dolls."
It's a joke for them, but, well, it's not a joke.
Both of them are obviously pretty busy with their work, so when you are younger you have a variety of caregivers and nannies. I can easily imagine Tom firing and hiring new ones regularly just because he can't stand the thought of you forming a bond with them. (Shiv wouldn't even think of it, because how could her child get attached to some randos?).
On that note, Shiv will absolutely try to push a pro-Roy mindset on you. You're simply better than your peers, by power and money and blood. You shouldn't waste your time with them, unless it's useful; stay in your own circle. Stay with her. What about Daddy? Well, he's an exception, she says, and you can never remember if her voice was fond or strained when she said that.
Side note: Greg is your weird uncle. He's just kind of... there. If you're mean to him both of your parents love it.
It's not until you're older that you really begin to realize none of your friends have to play the game at home like you do—that spending time with one parent doesn't mean the other will be passive-aggressive to you for the rest of the week. That no one is not-so-gently nudging them towards internships at a certain company, that their life isn't carefully plotted out to keep them safe and to keep them caged. That the love is not conditional, there.
I think Tom's the parent you will like more when you're young and Shiv's the parent you like more when you're older.
Tom is easy with affection in a way that Shiv is not, he won't yell at you about things you don't understand then disappear for a week in shame he won't admit to feeling. But as his hair whitens, you see how he often he sees you as an object, as a symbol of his tie to the Roy family, or a physical manifestation of a legacy, one that you are quickly being pushed to shoulder by him.
And as you get older too, you can see how hard your mother did try to at least be better than her own mother, to be there for you even if she did often make mistakes. And she doesn't want this empty life for you either, you can tell. Whether it's because she wants a better life for you or because she can't stand to see you succeed where she failed—it doesn't really matter, does it?
By the time you're an adult, you can recognize the complexity of your relationship with both of them. There's really two options for you as you continue to get older: you can either continue to carry the dynasty you were born for or cut all ties.
If you choose not take on Waystar Royco, if you choose to leave, Tom will never forgive you. He'll go to right to the typical Roy patriarch line: he did all of this for you, how dare you throw it away? He'll probably try to cut you off, sure that you'll come crawling back. Shiv will never exactly outright say she is proud of you, but sometimes you think you can read it between the lines.
And if you stay, well, it continues. Sometimes it feels like you never grew up at all. It's like you're playing house in a giant office building. I do think Tom will step down and offer the position of CEO to you long before he passes (he has learned from that mistake) but he hangs around. You have dinner together at least once a week. Shiv still plays as your mother, offering her guiding hand.
It's nice, if you close your eyes and pretend there's any real emotion there, in place of the corporate walls and designer clothing.

I love how your anons think of different scenarios about the characters they like. Like how the brain is brain-ing. I enjoy reading your stories, they give me peace even if the self-insert pov is experiencing toxicity. There must be something wrong with me. Anyways,
Darling just running up to Scaramouche, no words and just slams herself into him. She’s mad and she’s giving him a hug (cause she knows the consequences once she does something he doesn’t like), a crushing bear hug (the one that kinda hurts normal people) and he’s just.. flushing hot red like a mad man that he is.
3< this a heart btw.
I LOVE IT TOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's like those old internet drawing boards (or maybe they still exist ??) where people would build art off one another's work. but like without any hate symbols. i think it's super cool. and i don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying horror, although that's a subject i've always been interested in... ahem. i'll save that for another time.
running hugs are a god tier trope. never gets old. i'm obsessed.
scara would go from bracing himself to pure confusion. his internal mechanisms are shutting down in real time. his brain becomes goop. all forms of intelligent thought are gone, off into the void, where they'll stay until you're not squeezing him. are hugs supposed to be this tight? he doesn't have much experience in the field (that is to say, none), so he can't make up his mind. he gets the sense that this is an act of violence, but... wow. you're soft. so, so soft. and you smell heavenly, like a home he never thought he'd have. he moves his heavy limbs as if he were a windup doll on its last cycle, securing you against him, where you belong.
he knows he should punish you for any attempted harm on his person, successful or otherwise, yet he can't. this is just too cute. your nose is scrunched up in concentration and he can feel your muscles straining to inflict any level of damage. you're trying so hard. if his pride wasn't such an obstinate obstacle, he'd chuckle freely, maybe twirl you around to hear you yelp.
... that desire isn't ever going to cross into reality, but, nonetheless, he lets you carry out your unsuccessful mission. once the moment has concluded, a little indignation stirs up in him. he'll satisfy it by urging you to "try harder" the next time you want to inflict any damage, because if this was your best attempt, it wasn't very impressive. he rather liked it.

Imagine getting isekai’ed into otome game as a background character, watching the main character going down routes as you live your peaceful, mundane life, but you’ve unknowingly been going down a route as well, a route for a hidden character that you didn’t discover during your time playing the game.
That character being the reason the game has a dark content warning.
Gosh anon, that idea is so good!!!! I didn't know it would tickle all the right places in my brain, but when I started I couldn't stop lol. Love it, thank you for sending it in ♥
If this had one of these super long titles that are tmi it would be:
I got Isekai'ed into an Otome Game as a Background Character and now I Have to Finish It with the Secret Yandere Love Interest!!
»»———————— ♡ ————————««
A serene smile spread over your lips as you watched the two lovebirds in the corner of your coffee shop.
Swirling the milk into a cup, it created a little white heart surrounded by foamy coffee, its aroma drifting into your nose. Had someone told you that the little things like a cup of coffee made with love and care were enough to give you the peace of mind you always wanted in your previous life, you would have laughed at them. For you, it had always been the hustle, the making money, finding a partner, and creating a family. Make everyone proud while being successful, whether it costs you nights of sleep or days without proper meals. But looking at yourself now, it all seemed so far away now, and you let out a content sigh before setting down the cup in front of the customer at the bar.
"You seem happy today," your regular at the counter noted, picking up the cup and taking a moment to appreciate the aroma just like you had. A smile sneaked onto their lips, too, after they took a sip, and you couldn't help but feel your heart swell with pride and happiness when they gave you a satisfied nod.
"I am! I'm really getting accustomed to my new life here, it's... been a while since I've been so content."
The truth behind everything that happened to you was something you couldn't speak about lightly. Not when it turned the life you knew upside down, leaving you to start over completely. One day you were an employee of a well-known company, responsible for sales and reports and everything stressful. And the next, you were in your favorite, cozy video game, running the coffee shop the main character liked to visit with all the romance options in the game.
Isekai was the genre that came to mind when you thought about your situation. Luckily you were spared the memories of your death in the real world, the circumstances blurry as you barely remembered going home late from work, only to wake up in this very different universe. Perhaps you were just comatose, and this was a dream. Still, by now, you had managed to slip into your role as the barista of the small coffee shop, a barely mentioned background character, just fine.
Your eyes jumped back to the couple in the corner, giggling and teasing each other over a group project, and you felt an immense relief you weren't reincarnated as the main protagonist and had to go through the years of studying and trying to establish connections with the love interests again. You already did that in your old life, and it wasn't as romantic and fun as the game made it out to be. You only played it because it got your mind off things, the art was pretty, and it had the exact amount of cozy time management you needed to relax. But living as the main character in it? No, thank you!
"Jealous?" your regular teased, and you chuckled, shaking your head. They tapped their—now empty—cup, and you took it from them, replacing it with some water until you had the next cup of coffee ready for them.
"I just think it's cute. I never had someone so interested in me they'd take me out for coffee and share their cake with me when I was younger."
Your words tasted a little bitter on your tongue. Still, you genuinely couldn't wish for anything but the main character's happiness. It was just the feeling of being loved, desired, and wanted that you missed, even though your new life was more than satisfactory despite you feeling a little lonely sometimes.
"Well, it's never too late to start," they chuckled, taking up their fork and cutting off the tip of their strawberry shortcake, including the big chunk of strawberry on top, picking it up and holding it out towards you.
"Oh, I wouldn't dare--"
"I insist! As thanks for the amazing coffee every time I come here."
Nudging your lips with their fork, you let out an awkward chuckle. It was okay, right? They wouldn't sue you for eating the cake they paid for, would they? This was just a silly little game. What could go wrong with you accepting their kindness?
Opening your lips, you let them feed you the cake, taking a moment to let the sweet and fruity notes mix with the fluffy whip cream before you were sent straight to heaven. Not to toot your own horn, but your baking skills had improved so much since you started working at the shop. Who knew you had that in you?
Occupied with the moment of bliss as you let the cake flavor mix in your mouth, you hummed happily before devoting yourself back to making the coffee with a smile on your face. Unaware of your regular fixating on the fork you had just eaten from, staring at it like it was some strange artifact. Your phone dinged softly in its drawer, and you checked it briefly to see the notification pinging up, saying, "Achievement unlocked: Cake-Master - Provide the most delicious cake to your customers."
"Excuse me!" the main character called out to you, stepping up to the counter, and you directed your attention to her, ignoring the little game notification you've been receiving since starting your new life here, the love interest not far away before the two began fighting over who was going to pay the bill this time lovingly. Of course, the love interest won, but you wouldn't have expected it any other way. Seeing the blush on the main character's face after her romance option told her he'd "always take care" of her made you grin like a little fan, and you cheered them on in your head.
By the time you returned to your regular, their knuckles had gone white with how hard they were gripping the fork in their hand, their eyes following the couple who was about to leave. For a moment, it made you wonder if they had a crush on either of them, their sweet interaction surely uncomfortable if that was the case. But you didn't remember there being a jealousy scene in the game. You'd know, almost playing it 100% before your death. There apparently was a secret route you never got but were trying your hardest to achieve. Now you were left to wonder what it entailed.
But the second you returned, they looked up at you, expression softening and the tension disappearing, and you chalked it up to having witnessed a cringe moment that they had gotten so awkward. "Thank you for the cake, that was really nice of you! Do you want another fork?" you asked and were met with a headshake and a smile.
They quickly began eating their cake and complimenting your baking skills, stroking your growing ego when they rubbed their belly.
"I never had a cake that good!" they proclaimed, and you laughed out loud, overjoyed that you had made them so happy.
"Say..." they suddenly spoke up again, leaning on the counter and watching you with gentle eyes. Your heart set out for a second, tension rising as you didn't know what they were going to ask. Ever since you opened the coffee shop, the main character, love interests, and this regular had come by constantly. If you were honest, you enjoyed their visits more and more. Their presence felt like it belonged here with you, and you were a part of something bigger after all, washing away the small, lonely part of you.
And maybe... just maybe... this was how your happy end would play out.
"Are you this nice to every customer?"
Halting your movements, you set aside the brew head that you used on the espresso machine, despite having to clean it, thinking about your answer for a moment. It was a strange question to ask someone who worked in customer service. Still, you appreciated your regular, so you didn't want to give them a snarky answer.
"Uhm, well, I am just trying to make everyone feel welcome! But of course, it's a bit different with my regulars! After all, they come here often, like a second family. So I guess I'm a bit nicer because you really get to know and appreciate these people that stay to chat and tell stories."
"I see," they muttered. "Family, huh..."
After that, you suddenly were swamped with sudden orders, excusing yourself to fulfill them, chatting and laughing with even the people that were just passing by. Maybe you really were just nice? Perhaps this new environment had made you more relaxed and gentle than the harsh world you lived in, and it was showing? But their question was shoved into the back of your mind as you kept fulfilling orders and earning your keep.
Once the rush was over, you returned to your regular, only to find their seat empty. Strange, you thought. You could have sworn that you felt their eyes on you the whole time you were away, but luckily, they didn't walk out on their tab, leaving the money and a folded-up napkin beneath their empty cup for you to find. You quickly stored away the bills, trusting your regular with knowing what they had to pay after so many weeks of the same order.
You were about to throw away their napkin when you noticed some red marks on them, unwrapping the paper to find a note scribbled in what you had to assume was ink.
"You're so beautiful when you laugh."
The surprise wore off quite fast, and you smiled, thinking nothing of it but that it was a nice compliment from your regular. Still, you ended up throwing the napkin away—not knowing if it was dirty, after all—taking the coffee cup and plate to the sink to clean them, overseeing the red tip on the fork that was too dark to be from the strawberry.
The rest of your day was uneventful, and by the time you were closing, you were tired and ready to tug in for the night, wrapping up your business at the shop quickly before walking home. You didn't have a chance to look at your phone since you glanced at the achievement notification, so you took it out, startled when you saw a dozen new messages.
Achievement unlocked: Happy new life - Be content with your new life
Achievement unlocked: A fork for two! - Share a fork with someone special
Achievement unlocked: Jealousy - Make someone special jealous
Achievement unlocked: Soothing - Calm someone special down with your presence
Achievement unlocked: Family - Have someone be moved by your words
Achievement unlocked: The nicest person in town - Be beloved by all, but especially by someone special
Achievement unlocked: Blood in the cup - Have someone hurt themselves at your coffee shop
Achievement unlocked: Wonder-Barista - Complete twenty orders in less than thirty minutes
Achievement unlocked: Strange compliment - Receive a compliment through unusual means
Achievement unlocked: Blooming infatuation - Have someone special fall in love with you
Achievement unlocked: Shop-Pro! - Close the shop twenty times after making a profit from your work
Achievement unlocked: Tired - Hard workers deserve to relax
You blinked a few times, surprised by what you were reading and a little weirded out by some of these achievements. They gave you some extra coins in your shop till and reputation with the townspeople, so you usually didn't mind them. But to say some of their descriptions were weird was an understatement. You couldn't even remember someone getting hurt at your workplace that day.
By the time you reached your apartment, you decided to ignore the strange notifications and just let the day come to an end with a hot bath and your favorite show. But you were startled when your phone suddenly began ringing loudly, even though you had turned off the sound back at the coffee shop after the first notification. The first messages that appeared before you were more achievements, and you stopped turning the key in your door as you read them.
Achievement unlocked: Follower - Have someone special follow you home
Achievement unlocked: Welcome home! - Arrive at home, not alone
Achievement unlocked: Wherever you go, I'll be watching you - Ɨ ΔΜ ΔŁŴΔ¥Ş ŴΔŦĆĦƗŇǤ ¥ØỮ
Lifting your head, you looked around you, glancing over your shoulder and into the courtyard below. No one was out; everyone was at home eating dinner and occupied with their lives. Confused, you swiped all the notifications away before another pop-up appeared.
ALERT! You're about to enter X's route. Do you want to continue?
> Yes > No
Panicked at this point, you pressed "No," but nothing happened. You kept tapping it repeatedly, not understanding what was happening with your phone. But nothing changed, the notification staying in place. The sound of something breaking inside your apartment tore your focus away from your phone, startling you.
You must have finally managed to close it, the pop-up disappearing just as you unlocked the door to your apartment, still having held on to the key when you were surprised by the sound. Darkness and silence greeted you from inside, everything seemingly normal.
Majorly confused, you shook your head, slowly entering the hallway leading inside. "Hello?" you called out, reaching for the light switch. The light flickered on, and... there was no one. Holding your breath, no sound reached your ears, and you groaned, realizing you got freaked out about... nothing.
This wasn't some kind of horror game, and the story never had a murder-solving subplot. True, the ratings for it were kind of strange—it being rated as 18+ on the website—but seriously, what should happen in a cozy little city like the one the game played in? You didn't even think they had a police station here.
Pushing off your shoes as you shrugged off the weird feeling from before, you walked up the hallway to your living room, turning on the light before coming to an abrupt halt. There were broken pieces of glass underneath your living room window, but what really freaked you out came into view only when you lifted your head. You could look into the mirror of your cabinet door from your position, red marker dripping from it as if someone had hastily scribbled on it just seconds ago. You weren't sure it was a pen anymore, judging by its deep red color and the fluidity of it.

Your phone pinged.

clari!! what characters would be your kins/idols (like u wanna be like them, want their aesthetic, etc)?
hmm, that's a good question, anon! uhhh i dunno about kins/idols necessarily, i'm pretty happy with who i am and my own personal style/aesthetic, but characters that i really like/inspire me are: harley quinn, toga (duh), cher hororwitz, elle woods, and alabama whitman. just off the top of my head those are the first ones that come to mind! i'm 100% sure i'm missing some others, but yeah! <3
