Lost in your thoughts, you don’t notice Jungwon coming in through the hallway with his suitcase behind him. He stops when he sees the flowers and then looks up at you.

“I would’ve known to get you lilies,” he comments, his voice cutting through your reverie. “Unlike Jake.”

You’re pulled out of your thoughts and make eye contact with Jungwon. It’s silent for a second as you take him in, noting the travel weariness in his eyes.

“How was Korea?” you ask tentatively.

He’s vague and blunt with his answer. “Fine.”

You shift on your feet, feeling the weight of the unspoken tension between you. “Did you have a good Chuseok?”

Jungwon nods, then looks at the peonies again before his gaze returns to you. “Jake doesn’t know anything about you,” he says, his tone sharp.

Before you can respond, he sidesteps you and enters his dorm, leaving you alone with your thoughts. You stare after him, the hurt in his words lingering in the air. Slowly, you bend down to pick up the bouquet. Carrying the peonies inside your dorm, you can’t help but think about how much has changed and how complicated everything has become. You place the flowers on the counter, staring at them for a moment before you begin unpacking your groceries.

Determined to keep yourself preoccupied, you dive into cleaning the entire dorm. You scrub the floors, dust the shelves, and organize every corner until everything is spotless and in perfect order. The physical activity helps clear your mind, but the lingering thoughts and feelings remain just below the surface.

As you finish wiping down the kitchen counter, your phone buzzes with a text. It’s from Avi.

[avi]: hey, can you meet me at snell? i forgot my key :p

[you]: yeah what room number?

Grabbing your keys, you head for the door. Just as you’re about to leave, another text comes in. This time, it’s from Jake.

You are favored by everyone in the Stellarton Hunters; even Elio does it too. You both are stuck together whenever everyone else is 'busy'; you’re always quiet, really wanting to talk to anyone in general, and it’s no difference with him just painting and painting (he could leave but doesn’t).

Most people don’t see you anywhere since you're probably in your art room that no one knows where it is since there are several art rooms for you; he’s walked in on you in a room, thinking it was some sort of spy.

He looks at some of your paintings whenever he’s stuck taking care of you, which freaks you out. Does he have to look at that one? The painting in question was based on him and how he looks similar to spider lilies. He doesn’t say anything and just puts the painting back where it was hanging.

Y’know those trashy art kits with bad markers and ‘paints’ (but very expressive) Well, while going causing some havoc, he saw it and thought you would like it. When he sees your face happy (for at least trying), he is glad, until Kafka tells him that you probably wouldn’t use it since the kit is really low quality.

𝒥𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒴𝓊𝒶𝓃

He gives you an entire art room with very expensive supplies, and since he sees you somewhere where no one goes, you start to freak out a little whenever someone sees you. He hopes you impress him with your skills, and if you do, he might hang your painting in his office so that those who come and see him can also witness your piece.

You're very comfortable around him, only letting him see your paintings. You just finished wanting me to praise you for your hard work and give you a little attention.

Watch you get very shy when talking to other people at events with him. Go on, why don’t you tell them about the painting on the walls? You were the one who spent your sweat and tears just to complete it.

𝒟𝒶𝓃 𝐻𝑒𝓃𝑔

He’s a bit awkward when it comes to you; you both don’t talk and don’t leave your rooms either. Since everyone is going out to get something on this new planet and you both are staying well, Dan Heng is in charge of you. It might have been the first time he’s ever seen your room. and it’s a total mess—paintbrushes, paint, several unfinished paintings, and broken parts of supplies all over the place.

Everyone thought his room was that bad. He can just sit there on the side and not stare at you, you say in a whisper. What? Well, you get nervous whenever he stares at you, so he can't... One question about painting: you lost your mind and told him about everything, so it was a bonding experience, and now you give him some little drawings, so it’s worth it.

You also use the database in his room to get inspiration for your next painting from your favorite artist.

He asks you many questions just to see you freak out over your obsession. Like,  let it all out; he’ll hear out everything you say; he means everything—the origin of the color purple, sure! Knock yourself out or talk about your favorite artist, what kind of painting they did, what their first painting was, and stuff like that.

Unlike Blade, he gets you good painting supplies that aren't like Crayola or those bad art sets like pencils that have good pigment and paint brushes made with the finest bristles, like he knows what good stuff is at.

I helped you design your room as well, making it very bright and artistic like you, with your most beloved paintings all over your walls, and even gave you two matching paintings, one for you and the other for him.

you met lily in 11th grade. she was in your english class, you weren’t too fond of her but she was tolerable. you kept to yourself throughout high school, that is until she sat next to you in class. your whole life you struggled with people shutting you out because you were different from most, quiet. you never told anyone how you felt because they would laugh at you.

lily saw you on the first day and was in awe, she wanted to be your friend since she was new to the school. days after days she would ask you for different things throughout class until eventually she asked if you wanted to hang out, to which you agreed. Lily really liked you, though she couldn’t express herself. she thought you were the prettiest girl in the world. you kept to yourself, she could sense that you were different but that’s what she loved most about you.

it’s been months since your first hangout with lily and you’ve really grown to like her. she’s really talkative and outgoing, your complete opposite but you two were yin and yang. you struggled with opening up to her at first but eventually you got comfortable with her. even having sleepovers. you often fantasized about her but you shook away your fantasies and would think about something else. she’s your best friend, you think to yourself. now here we are, in your room. you’re on your bed and lily is looking at herself in your vanity.

Living in an orphanage was not all sunshine and rainbow as Adelaide was bullied for being ‘weaker than Tom and more valuable’. If you are wondering what happened to their mother and father you will be shocked that their mother loved a muggle who didn’t love her back so she drugged him with a love potion and once she given birth the potion worn off and their father fled in fright as he ‘woke up from a sleep’ and he was terrified to find out he was married to a woman he didn’t know and has just given birth to his ‘twins’.

Once Tom and Adelaide were 11 they were approached by a man called Dr.Dumbledore. Who they thought was a doctor to help Tom after he had ‘accident’ with an other child in the orphanage after Adelaide kept playing with the child everyday and not Tom unknowingly putting that child in risk. People were often too scared to approach Adelaide when tom was lurking about which confused the poor girl as to her he was the best brother and twin anyone could ask for ( not knowing how evil he truly was. Completely convinced the ‘accidents were just that accidents’}.

To say tom was livid was an understatement of the century would not be accurate to the rage he was feeling after hearing the sorting hat split him and his precious twin “ how would she survive without him?” Whyl he was simmering with rage she was content to have made new friends as back in the orphanage she had no friends due to toms actions.

At the hufflepuf table Adelaide was happy to be making friends and having playful conversations with people who didn’t run away in fear of her brother. And this is when she met her future best friend and soon to be lover Alexander McLaggen. For the poor boy it was love at first sight when he saw Adelaide and her soft, warm doe eyes, the complete opposite of Toms cold and calculating eyes. He was completely enamoured which her.

And yes if you are wondering his great-nephew is Cormac McLaggen, the only difference is Alexander was raised right. After Tom sneakers in the hufflepuff common rooms to see Adelaide he notice she not there and he starts to panick as it is past curfew set by the teachers, as he starts to franctily search around the common room only to come across fain noise in one of the alcoves on the wall. Adelaide and Alexander were in their own world completely unaware of tom presents. As Adelaide was telling Alexander all about the new bird she had found.

Unknown to them tom was watching the whole scene go down. He was all but ready to rag that little shit to the forbidden forest and feed him to the monsters that lay within. The amount of rage he was feeling was incomprehensible the only thing that stopped him from confronting them. Was the fact that they were in the Hufflepuff common room as well as the prefects finish the rounds of the castle for the night. Once tom finally makes it to his room he begins to make plans on how to separate that little cunt and his pressure little Adelaide.
