Hi hyper specific head canon but I feel like kisaki could and would be deaf in one ear (I was when I was a kid) or have some sort of hearing impairment ",and I'm thinking of him wearing a hearing aid working on some papers so he can hear you in the next room, but they give him a head ache and overstimulate his senses so you tell him he doesn't need to keep an ear out for you, you'll come get him if you need him, but he says he likes to hear you close, "for your safety, just in case".

I just wanna see more characters with auditory impairments cos I had/ have it and it would be nice to see it talked about.

23. Is writing the beginning, middle, or end of the story easiest? Hardest?

1. As soon as- JUST KIDDING! Lots and lots of daydreaming! Ideas can live in my head forever before I write a single word, and some never make it onto “paper.” Very occasionally, there’s something so persistent I have to get it out right away. There are a few scenes in Close your eyes that I wrote out of order when they popped into my mind because I had to (one of them a VaLu one coming up next chapter). And once I went to bed with an idea, all reasonable “nah, you need to sleep now, write that some other time” - only to wake up at 7 the next morning and then spending an entire day writing because Best Friends Forever wouldn’t leave me alone.

But mostly lots of daydreaming 😅 I currently have like four ideas living in mind and who knows when/if they ever make it out.

23. I’m gonna give the lamest answer possible- that depends. The beginning is probably more often hard than easy for me because the blank page and blinking cursor are formidable enemies. But sometimes the end is harder! The middle part can be easy if I’ve thought about the meat of the story a lot and know what I want to go down. But it can be hard, too, if I only know where the characters end up, but not how to get them there. With long running stories the end is the hardest, I’d say. I shudder when I think about writing the ending of Close your eyes. Like, I know where everyone’s going to end up. But figuring out the exact ending, the final words of something that has become so important to me over the years? Thats going to be rough.

My favourite thing about tumblr, that in my opinion makes it far superior to other social media sites, is that new posts live side by side with old posts. These days, there’s a prioritization of new content. It not only shortens the lifespan of people’s work, memes and such, but it also devalues the work that goes into making certain things.

Sure, a lot of posts are just random thoughts spewed into the ether, but some posts are carefully crafted videos, photos, artwork, prose, that take the creator a considerable amount of time and effort to craft. So, as a content creator, it’s nice to see that you can put work into a piece of content on here and it can have a life of its own. Unlike other platforms where posts live and die in a matter of day, sometimes, hours
