If you were discussing it with the context of the scheduling conflicts that caused him to leave Rust, that would be one thing, but the fact he was on Supernatural and The Boys wasn't relevant to the article. Not with the way it was done.

If the title is "Jensen Ackles' Prop Involved In Rust Shooting Trial" you give context for the trial, you explain how Jensen and his prop were involved, and you explain how things will look moving forward for Jensen, the other parties involved, the trial overall, and the film itself. (Which was done, more or less)

If you wanted to give context to who Jensen was by discussing his past roles, you would do that when you explain his involvement. The first sentence would be something to the effect of "Jensen Ackles, known best for starring in the long running CW show Supernatural and his more recent role on Amazon's The Boys, was also on set the day this tragic incident took place...."

And if you wanted to talk about what scheduling conflicts caused him to leave Rust, you would include that at the end where you talk about what's next. (Which the writer did not do, for the record. He simply mentioned Jensen had to leave due to scheduling conflicts.)

In my opinion, the structure of the article should have been like this:

Section 1: the shooting

Who was involved? What happened? When did the shooting take place? Where did the shooting take place?

Section 2: the trial

What parties are being prosecuted? What are the charges? What are the arguments coming from the defense? What evidence has been submitted? Etc.

Section 3: a closer look at Jensen's involvement

Who is Jensen Ackles? How was he involved in this? Is he facing any charges?

Section 4: moving forward

This is where I'd talk about the trials being dismissed, if the film is still happening despite the shooting, if any charges have stuck/will stick, and Jensen leaving Rust because he had other commitments

And then let's talk about photo placement

The author had a photo at the top of every section in their article, nothing wrong with that, the format is totally up to the author. But none of the photos were captioned, and for the most part irrelevant to what the section was talking about.

So if we followed my structure, but kept the author's format: here's what photos I would use, and when.

Section one: a photo of the gun Baldwin fired, captioned as such

Section two: photos of each of the defendants, captioned with their names, and photos throughout from the trials to support what is being discussed in this section

Section three: a recent photo of Jensen at the top of the section, captioned with his name, the date it was taken, and the location or event (if known). Then after the introduction, a photo of Dean and/or Soldier Boy, captioned with the appropriate character's name, the season and episode number it was taken from, and, ideally (though this I could take or leave), the year the episode aired

Section four: headline with a promotional photo from the film, and include any appropriate photos when discussing how things look for Alec Baldwin, Jensen Ackles, Hannah Guttierez-Reed, and anyone else who was brought up in the course of the article

Side not about captions: All photos should be properly credited to the photographer who took them, and screen caps should be captioned with the show name, season, and episode number (as I said) or, if it was being done for a more professional site, properly cited using MLA formatting.

To me I think if Danneel & Steve did have an affair Jensen doesn’t know about it. He may be clueless on what happened between them. So that is how he can continue to make music with Steve cause he doesn’t know. I mean think about it with Jensen in Vancouver for most of the year filming Danneel had the perfect opportunity to sneak around. Steve could have came to their house while Jensen was away. I've never seen a picture of Steve and Danneel that didn't make me go "these two are together" whereas I've never seen a picture of Danneel and Jensen that ever made me believe they were together or shared feelings. They all look forced and off. Something is terribly off, whereas with Steve, Danneel always looks like herself and relaxed, infatuated, flirty, she gives off all the signals of a woman in love, it's truly odd. After a month it started again.What made me finally believe in that they had grown too+ far: I still remember the night misha posted that he and jensen were going to have a con for gish together. I remember how hard I cried. Lile the whole world was given to me. But deep down in my heart I knew that something would definitely happen. It didn't sit right with me and unfortunately my senses never lie to me. Jensen showed up at the wrong time bcuz of misunderstanding the time zones (this was HILARIOUS). That's not even my point.+ I've seen that interview 3 times so far. It always reminds me of when i saw my ex at a party and we were both so thrilled to see eachother and we still loved the other dearly, but we just couldn't work it out. Jensen and Misha's expressions were EXACTLY the same. The genuine smiles and longs pauses were they just stared at eachother. I'm so happy that it was online cuz if they actually gave that looks to eachother standing right next to the other one I would've collapsed. Misha didn't know that jensen's album+ was out. And he got so embarrassed when he found it out. He didn't know that jensen was on set and hadn't been home for 8weeks. Jensen had no idea where misha was. And this means that they hadn't talked in a long long time.When you're that close with someone for more than a decade, i mean THAT close, even if u're separated from eachother you'd at least check on the once a week, or at least once in two weeks. But it was vividly clear that they hadn't. I hate how this world works. They would always be in my heart.+ I would be thankful from them for everything. It hurts, and it won't stop and im so sure I'd be carrying this pain for a long time. They mean too much to a lot of us. Sometimes I think to myself that god i love them so much. Remember in 2019 when we used to get SO many jenmishdee interactions? That was LIT. It was THEE year for us. I hope they're doing good. I really do. I hope we don't get more proofs and I won't have to update this thread. I don't know who this person who has been talking to is but I have to say they seem to be project their previous relationship experience on cockles.

I believe Jensen and Misha are okay and are together. Social media likes and comments don't mean anything. I mean it's not like Jensen or Misha used to comment on each other's posts before. Jensen didn't even wish Dee Happy Mother's Day this year, does that mean they are not together anymore? Nope. He has other best friends he has known for over 20 years like Jason Manns, Steve Carlson etc that he doesn't wish happy birthday, does that mean they are not friends anymore.

Please let's not put value on social media likes. I don't even follow my own family on sm and I don't always like or comment on my bf's or bff's posts on sm. So it doesn't mean anything.

As for the Gish Panel, I have talked about it before, the time Jensen was slotted to attend the panel, he was meant to answer fan questions. I honestly believe they decided to not do it at that time because they knew the questions would be about Destiel and not their new projects. If you watched that panel, Misha knew that Jensen's album was out as I pointed out. He was just trying to promote the album and soldier boy. He knew Jensen had also buffed out. It was all to promote Jensen. Anything else you hear is trolls and antis just being loud. Also don't forget Jensen called him "babe".

If Jensen and Misha weren't okay, he wouldn't have attended or participated all those panels Misha organized especially for Gish. Danneel also posts a lot about RA and likes Misha's posts. I am 100% Misha visited the Ackles when he went to Colorado last month.

Chapter 3 : The Not-So-Wonderful Weekend

Pairing: Eventual Jensen Ackles x Reader

Warnings: Jared is still an asshole, suicide attempt (please please please don't read if this will trigger you!!!)

Y/N went to go towards the tent with Jensen when Jared got in front of them. "What?" She asked him.

"Why have you turned Jess against me?"

"I didn't do anything. Now get out of my way, Padalecki. You got your wish now let me fucking go."

"Not until you convince Jess... Break her away from that boy toy."

"You broke my fucking camera and my dreams. I'm gonna fail my final and it's gonna make it so I can't get into college. You can go suck a dick!"

"Its not a real career! It's barely a hobby."

"It's a really good career when you're going oversees to do wildlife! I'm not staying here..."

"Yeah right."

"At least I won't be a burden on you..."

"They won't support this."

"Who?"

"Who? Our parents, our friends, me! Take your pick."

"I already know I don't have a support system. I got into A&M on a photography scholarship. None of you cared when I tried to tell you, everyone shrugged me off. I promise I know."

He scoffed. "Talk to Jess please."

"No." She stalked off.

The morning had finally wrapped up. Jessica had changed into a more comfortable dress. She was walking around looking at the shops when she felt someone grab her hand.

It was Y/N, her camera around her neck, "Where is Nik? I thought we could get some pics done while y'all are on break."

"Uhhh. Im not sure. Let's go find him."

"Cool." She grinned. They found him at the food tent getting a water.

"Hey! How's your wrist?" Nik asked.

"Still numb ... " she grinned, "I was hoping you'd be ok with me getting some pics of you and Jess together in your costumes."

"I think we can make that happen." Nik smiled.

"Awesome. I found some of the perfect spots to do it!" She turned around and hit right into Jared's chest.

He glanced at her but stared at Jess.

Y/N grabbed them and went around Jared , "Jay gave me the PERFECT idea with a couple of the horses!" They all went on their way, thankful Jared didn't follow.

Jessica simled and settled into Nik's side.

Y/N took a good 100 photos of them, easily.

On the last photo, they were standing close together. Their hands brushed together. He gently had a finger under her chin, turning her to look at him. Their faces close together.

Jessica saw the decisions going through his head.

No one saw Jared approach.

Nik leaned down, his lips touching hers.

Y/N didn't hesitate to take the pics of them sharing their first kiss.

Jessica melted into him. Until she heard the screaming.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing!?!?" Jared roared.

"Jared. This is my choice. My life." Jessica's eyes found the ground interesting. She wrapped her arms around herself. Jared made quick work of putting himself between the two of them.

Y/N stood up and went over to them. "Jared. You're in the shot and making Jess uncomfortable. Please move."

"No. Not when this concerns my girlfriend."

Jessica went pale. Neither of them had ever discussed that.

"Either you're lying or Jess didn't tell me and she NEVER keeps shit from me."

"Why would I lie about that?"

"Jared...You're my brother and I love you dearly, but ... you're a habitual liar..."

"Am not?!"

Jessica felt Nik's arms slip around her waist, his lips against his cheek.

She sighed, "Jared ... you're a liar, a cheat and a damn fool ... I'm sorry but it's true ."

"Let's hurry off..." he whispered in her ear.

"No. You've just kept the one thing I've wanted away from me. Turned her against me!"

Jessica let Nik lead her away.

"Jared, SHE WAS NEVER INTO YOU! WHENEVER YOU'RE HOME SHE DREADS COMING IN THE HOUSE! MY ONLY FUCKING FRIEND AND SHE DOESNT WANT TO BE AROUND ME WHEN YOU'RE AROUND, WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN TO YOU!?" Y/N screamed. But she didn't expect what happened next, she felt a hand connect to her right cheek. She stumbled back, astonished that her brother had just slapped her across the face, but it didn't stop him.

As soon as Y/N started to get up, he shoved her back down. "YOU SMOTHER HER. YOU KNEW HOW I FELT. YOU'VE KNOWN SINCE DAY ONE. I DIDN'T ASK MUCH. AND NOW YOU'VE LET HER JUST GO OFF A GUY TWICE? THREE TIMES HER AGE!!"

"AND YOU'RE TWICE HER AGE , ASSHAT!" She got up, pushing him in the chest, even though he didn't really budge.

"I told you to talk to her. She just needs to see sense."

"We know what we see ..  and neither of us like it."

He scoffed.

"Leave her alone. You understand me?"

"And if I don't?"

"You'll reap what you sow." She went to leave, but he grabbed her by her pony tail.

"Put the camera away before you lose everything." He let her go and stormed off.

She was silently crying, realizing no one was around.

They went over to a barn.

Jessica was shaking.

"It's ok..." He tried to soothe her.

Jessica started to pace.

Nik sighed, grabbing her hand to stop her.

Jessica looked at him.

"Come here..."

Jessica did.

He pulled her close, giving her a deep and passionate kiss.

Jessica melted into him.

He didn't let up for a breath.

Jessica smiled as he picked her up into his arms.

"Mmm..." he hummed.

Jessica giggled. "We're outside you know."

"Mmm...I can change that."

Jessica nuzzled against his neck. "Don't we have afternoon responsibilities?"

"In like ... two hours..."

Jessica giggled as he carried her off.

They went off to his trailer.

Jessica was glad to be away from everything.

He closed and locked the door behind them.

Jessica giggled as Nik pulled her back to him.

"Now ... where was I?"

"Where were you?"

He chuckled.

Jessica smiled. Nik reached out to grab her. She giggled and stepped just out of his reach.

"Uh ..." he looked like a 5 year old who just had his ice cream stolen.

Jessica grinned. He tried again. Again she stepped back.

He kept doing it til she tripped, he easily caught her.

"Hi..." Jessica breathed.

"Howdy."

Jessica was scooped up.

He took her over to the recliner.

They settled down.

He held her close.

His lips quickly found hers.

He was gently rubbing her all over.

She felt him loosen her corset.

"Does it take long for you to get this back on?'

"Not if you can tie it." He was used to the ones on the Game of Thrones set.

"I'm OK with that..."

Jessica giggled, especially seeing him get frustrated on layer 4.

"How many layers did they put you in!?"

Jessica giggled. "Giving up already."

"Maybe once you're in regular clothes...God damn girl. "

Jessica smiled. "You had to deal with these on set." Knowing he delt with quick change dresses.

"They had two layers...not six.'

Jessica giggled and stood, and with three movements was down to just a white chemise. "That's better." Jessica breathed normally.

"Wow...more beautiful than I could've imagined. "

Jessica blushed, a strand of hair falling in front of her face.

He gently swiped it behind her ear.

Jessica leaned into his touch.

He smiled softly.

He lifted her into his arms.

He went back to his bedroom.

Jessica giggled as he tossed her on the bed.

He climbed on top of her.

Jessica took his face in her hands.

He grinned.

"So -" She didn't even get to finish the sentence.

His lips attacked hers.

Jessica melted into him.

He was grinding against her.

"Mmmm."

He grinned.

Jessica pulled him closer.

He accidently slipped in as he moved.

They both looked at each other.

Jay was looking for Y/N.

She had gone and curled up in a corner of the food tent.

He went and settled next to her.

She ignored him.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?" She whispered. No one had seen what happened between her and Jared.

She shrugged, "he told me to put the camera away before I lose everything ... what's that even mean?"

"I don't know."

She sighed, "I gotta finish my final, Jay ..."

"I know. You will. Did you get good ones of Jess?"

She gave a small smile, "yeah, wanna see them?"

"Of course." He had a big smile.

She turned her camera on, going through the pictures.

"That one." He pointed to the one right before the kiss.

"Wanna see one better?" She asked, showing him where they kissed.

"Wow..." He breathed.

"Yeah. I know."

"If Jared saw this picture...."

"He saw the real thing..."

"So that's why he's pissed...."

She nodded.

"Great."

"Sorry..."

"Don't be. She deserves to be happy."

"Yeah...well, I, um, I should get going...I need some more pics for my final."

He sighed as he watched her go.

She was gone for the rest of the night.

Jensen wasn't happy with Jared and Jared could tell.

"What's wrong with you?" Jared said, approaching him. "And where is Y/N?"

"Studying. You can't just let Jess be happy can you."

"Jessica can be happy."

"With me..."

"She likes Nik. A lot."

"He is no good for her."

"How do you know that?"

"He is three times her age and still married. He is going to counseling with his wife."

"And you're twice her age." Jensen countered.

"Better than what she is currently hanging with ..."

"Jar."

"I'm serious. "

"As am I."

He was steaming out his ears.

"Jar. I know you've always expected Jessica to be with you. You got to actually make her like you."

"Isn't that what I've done the last five years!?"

"Not when all your conversations involve Y/N and what she's doing wrong. Have you even asked Jessica how she's been? You know her so well, what's her favorite color?"

"Purple. Duh."

"Teal." Jensen corrected.

He shrugged, "she must have changed it up on me."

"Favorite movie?"

"Fault in our stars. "

"Only when she's needs to cry."

He shrugged, "potatoe, potato."

"Dude."

"What?" Jared said, just then both their phones dinged, it was a video chat request from Y/N.

Just then Jessie's phone dinged, video chat request from Y/N.

Jensen accepted it.

Jessica sighed. She pulled away and sat up making sure she was descently covered and accepted.

Jared simply leaned over, sharing the screen with Jensen.

Y/N's screen was black, she had been obviously crying. She smiled, seeing all their faces, "hey guys..." the black picture said. "Um, I know you're all probably busy ... but I just wanted to call and say I love you guys ... I'm not on set ... " she sniffled. "You can't find me by GPS, I disabled it, so don't even try. I'm just ... I know I'm not worth the hassle and disappointment I keep causing." There was the sound of movement, as if she was climbing over something.

"Y/N what are you talking about??"

"Jared told me ... if I didn't lose the camera that I would lose everything ... well, he is getting his wish ... so is my entire family." Y/N stifled a cry.

Jensen sighed, "Y/N. . .baby girl, you listen to me, okay? You're important to us. You take AMAZING pictures ... you can't let your family win ... don't let them take your light ..."

"My entire life, Jay, has been overshadowed by all four of my siblings ... I wasn't supposed to happen . There's a ten year difference between me and the next oldest ... I wasn't supposed to happen ... "

"Y/N..." Jared sighed. "Look. I wasn't really going to do anything. Come back to set. Please."

"Why? So you can harass me even more? And with me gone Jess doesn't have to be around you any more so she is free of my diseased family as well..." the wind was starting to pick up, making her phone unstable in her hand.

"Y/N you know how they are." Jared sighed.

"They? Not including you?" She scoffed, "You'll never change, will you?"

"What do you want to do? You've already decided to leave." Jared didn't sound angry, just sad.

"To leave set ... "

"Where are you going."

She turned her camera on, she was on a bridge, showing them the water and rocks below her.

Jensen sighed. "I'm coming to get you."

Just then the phone was dropped, it hit the water and the call was disconnected. Beth took a deep breath and leapt off after it.

Jensen was up running back to get a hold of the police.

Jared was pacing and calling himself stupid.

Jessica had been quiet, shaking with rage.

"What's wrong?" Nik asked. He had stepped out to give her privacy.

"I'm killing him." Jessica was up pulled layers on quickly.

"Who, Jess?"

Jessica didn't answer, she started to lace the corset up herself.

Nik simply ran over and helped her.

Jessica kept muttering he's" dead" over and over until Nik couldn't take it.

"WHO!?!?!?" He spun her around so she was facing him, "I'll help you, but I need the details!"

Jessica dropped to her knees, burying her face in her hands and sobbed.

"Jess...what the hell was that call about, baby?"

Jessica felt him scoop her up. She was sat on the bed. She told him about the call.

He sighed, "I'm so sorry sweetheart. Shall we go kill Jared then go see her at the hospital?"

Jessica nodded, falling into Nik's side.

He picked her up and carried her out.

Jessica curled into him.

Y/N laid unconscious on the rocks, she had hit her head hard and had several broken bones and ribs.

It had taken awhile but they had managed to find her and get her lifelined.

She had gotten all the bones placed and casted and had wires and tubes here there and everywhere. Jensen was updated after three hours that she was stable and in a medically induced coma as there was bleeding on the brain they couldn't currently operate on.

Jensen was pacing and panicking.

Jared watched him, "well? What did the doctor say?"

"JUST LEAVE!"

Jared flinched, "but ... Jay ... she's my sister!" He tried to reason.

"No. Before I do something worse. Just go."

Jared sighed, but walked out the door.

Jensen went into her room.

Had it not been for the heart monitor showing she was alive, you'd think it was her funeral.

Jensen cradled his head in his hands.

Nik and Jess easily found Jared out in the parking lot.

Jared and Jessica locked eyes. Jessica thought about causing a scene but simply went to walk in. Until Jared came and caught her hand.

"I don't want to hear it."

"Jess ... Jay won't let me see her ..."

"Good."

He sighed, "I'm sorry ... "

"You should be." She went to let his hand go. He clung tighter.

Nik reached over, easily separating their hands and replacing Jared's with his, leading Jess into the hospital and leaving Jared alone, where for once, he realized, he truly messed up.

Honestly, I’m so torn between views on this. Hear me out for a sec. Take everything I say with a shaker of salt because this is just my speculating and discussing some themes, ideas, and possible theories of motivation, cause, and concerns from this whole situation. On one hand, if Keanu has a problem with this and he asked them to remove it, then OFC I’m glad it was taken down. After all, yes, it is his likeness and he has the right to ask for content like that to not be made. There’s also all the legality of this stuff. Take it this way- in games like this, actors do sign contracts to allow the use of their likeness (think most of the Quantic Dream games, the whole issue that cropped up with Elliot Page and Beyond Two Souls). This likely looked like that sort of issue- I mean, to be fair, if Keanu did have an issue with this and CDPR didn’t do anything and he tried to sue for his likeness being used by modders in this way, CDPR would technically likely be held accountable since its their assets and they signed contracts on how it’d be used and even though it was an external modder doing this with the game assets, its still CDPR’s assets they used. However, on the other hand, Keanu has been famous for years, and idk, he doesn’t strike me as the type to really be up in arms about this? I mean, when you’re famous, you know people are writing smutty literature about you, shipping you with whoever for one reason or another, creating smutty fanart, etc. which is an entirely different topic to explore over creating fan content of movies/tv shows in which characters hold their actors’ likeness and how that plays into comfortability with that happening- most actors nowadays accept it as par for the course and are flattered, don’t mind, or just flat out ignore that its happening. Other times it becomes extremely problematic to the point that fans have to be quelled and told to calm down. I mean, take a look at the Supernatural fandom for an example of that since Destiel is one of the biggest known ships in existence and there’s been plenty of everything from it. I’ve seen my fair share of smutty fanart of Dean and Cas who obviously hold Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins’ likeness. And yeah they know its out there, they’ve made jokes about it, been flattered by some of the stuff they’ve heard, absolutely noped-the-fuck-out on others (as is the case with fandom interaction in general honestly) so like?? Idk, that subject matter is far more advanced than what I’m willing to analyze with this because then you’re talking socio/cultural lenses, freedom of creation, art evolution, the very nature of fandom, etc and that’s essentially way above what im able to intelligently discuss aofkeoak On the first hand, I get that CDPR wants to avoid backlash, especially from Keanu Reeves (dude’s a major A-list actor with tons of money and the last thing they likely want is to be hit with yet another potential lawsuit- like i said above, this could theoretically have been an issue down the road, not that I assume Keanu would but just as a possibility to consider, also i dont know the guy so this is just my guess from the parasocial nature of being a fan of his) so this says less about Reeves’ having a personal problem with it and CDPR just panicking when they saw it exists and immediately trying to put out yet another fire in the kitchen by potentially throwing gasoline at it.  Because, while I get why CDPR likely panicked, this makes them look worse than if they’d left sleeping dogs lie honestly. The whole mod was removed, which makes little sense to me but only the author of the mod would be able to clarify what went down. I have to wonder why they didn’t just pull the Johnny file off the nexus but maybe when CDPR saw it, they saw it safer to just get rid of the whole thing, who knows? You make an excellent point about when companies and such start policing fan content. I mean hell, a lot of people on this site are too young to remember the Anne Rice drama that existed once upon a time. Talk about policing fan creation to the extreme (and that of course calls into the discourse of Fanfiction v.s Plagerism which I’m just not gonna’ even discuss here- I write fanfiction, yall know where I stand on that concept) But sometimes when things like this happen, you wonder at how far it’ll end up going. ‘have fun but only in the ways we agree with’ so to speak. And I think we all know that just because the mod got taken down that we’re all still stuck simping for the tapeworm and everyone is still gonna’ write their fanfics and make their art and then that draws back to fandom discussion in general- is that okay? I mean Keanu has likely had smutty literature and fanart being created depicting him since The Matrix was big, and probably still is inspiring that kind of content from fans of the films, so idk, take your pic. Unless Reeves would clarify where he stands on fan depictions of him in those kinds of situations, fandoms just do what they do and love characters the way they always have, and that of course includes sexually as well. So idk, I’m rambling with my thoughts here a bit, but basically I’m guessing CDPR would rather take whatever heat they’ll get from the modding community and fandom than risk a potential lawsuit with Reeves and anyone else who may have provided any likeness to CP2077, basically just to cover their own ass with the issues surrounding this game. I’m sure down the line either Reeves will comment directly on this type of thing, someone will get a hold of him to ask for a comment on this, or eventually the modding community will go back to doing its thing after the controversy around the game dies off in a year or two. This all being said, this is just my ambling thoughts regarding the situation, it ain’t too big of a deal, its hilarious tbh, but yeah, as you said, concerning in a sense too in the grand scheme of things. This is just my thoughts on the scenario and I’m not speaking on anything but my own assumptions and opinions on it.  on a side note though, i wonder if anyone ever modded the sex scenes in the witcher and swapped models and if CDPR had an issue with that too. 1/2 I was someone that was deeply hurt by jensens previous comments and general attitude towards the conversation of deans sexuality and his relationship with cas I later realized that deepseated hurt had to do with coming to terms with my own bisexuality and feeling that someone I looked up to? admired? had such a visceral negative reaction on the topic To hear his comments now feels so surreal I'm having trouble processing As an adult it means so much to me that his attitude changed. It’s not odd at all anon, I’ve seen a lot of people express similar sentiments on my dash the past week. Like Jensen Ackles really said ‘bi people aren’t valid’ and then he came back years after and was like maybe you CAN BE valid as a treat and he’s very well PR trained and I get why supernatural is doing this but I’m so upset they’re not going FULL HOG with Destiel like after all these years being sneered at by society, and by the show, it’s like. We deserve that much. But the LGBT+ fans (and anyone that read into Destiel etc.) were always ALWAYS valid even if the creators didn’t acknowledge it. Honestly I think part of the euphoria of 15.18 was knowing that all this time, we were as legitimate in our reading of the text - more legitimate - than mainstream, straight, conservative audiences. So, yeah. Dean should be textually bi and in love with Castiel for 204857193 reasons but also because reparations can and should be paid by CW Show Supernatural for the lack of faith it showed the very fans that worshipped it and made it such a phenomenon in 2010s pop culture. I linked an article about a week ago that talked about this very well and how if they don’t go all the way, it kind of feels like a final cop out on a show that was made with careful profits and audience balancing in mind and not like, storytelling and love.
