I 100% don't get people that think sexualities or identities that are "too confusing" can't or shouldn't exist. Like, bub, my gender is a mystery wrapped in an enigma behind a puzzle to everyone, myself included, & you DON'T think that's cool AF??

NSFW Disney Hades x Reader Headcanons (Part 3)
18+ readers only, minors please dni
He’s totally down for having sex with more than 1 person, but if he’s in a romantic relationship with you then he doesn’t like to share.
He gets very jealous and possessive with the partners he’s in love with, so he isn’t too fond of other people touching you.
He’ll fuck somebody and let you watch or he’ll fuck you while someone else fucks him, but if someone else is fucking you and he’s not…he’s not too crazy about that lol, you’ll have to do a lot of convincing for him to go for that.
Like, he wants to be the only one that gives you immense pleasure like that. Not someone else. You’re his special someone, so sex is gonna be sentimental to him in a romantic relationship.
His favorite sex position is cowboy. He gets the best view watching you ride him or holding onto you while he fucks you in his lap.
His turn ons: seeing you angry/anger sex, stripping/strip tease, calling him by an authoritative name like “sir” or “my lord/king” or “my oneness”, and wearing lingerie
His turn offs: mentioning anyone in his family during intimate times, being a jerk to him during sex (personally insulting and degrading him, being rude to him, etc.), nonconsensual sex/partners that are uncomfortable, REALLY gross and nasty kinks
He loves to get you flustered in public. If you’re at some kind of party or social gathering and he’s feeling aroused then he’ll definitely try to catch you off guard by whispering something dirty in your ear or what he wants to do you later.
And yes he will most certainly leave a party early just so he can fuck you, even if it’s some Olympus get together.
If you have female anatomy, then he ADORES making you squirt. Seeing you moan and writhe in pleasure while he finger fucks you (or just fucks you) drives him wild.
Also, if you have tits of any kind then he will be grabbing them and putting his mouth all over them.
He’d also be down for tit fucking if you’re into that.
Don’t think I mentioned this before, but he is a switch. Likes to to be a dominant top more than anything, but he’s totally down for being a submissive bottom too, though he does have the tendency to be a power bottom lol.
Also forgot to mention that he growls a lot when he’s super horny (or when having anger or stress relief sex) lol.
Oh and yeah, if he’s had a hard day of work and he’s pent up (if you let him) he’ll let all of that go during sex and release all of that tension and stress and anger while he fucks you silly. He probably has a lot of that type of sex with ya lol, the underworld is not easy to run, especially when you have henchman like Pain and Panic working with you lol.
He’s cool if you wanna use toys in bed, he’s not super into using toys for himself when he’s alone, but when it comes to the both of you then he’s totally down.
As mentioned before, he has a biting and marking kink, so he’ll try to leave love marks where people can see to sorta “mark his territory” so to speak.
And he’s cool if you wanna hurt him a little during sex.
Bite him, spank him, choke him, etc. he’s into it lol!
He is definitely the type of god to do something really romantic and sexy when he wants to make love to you.
He’ll get a bottle of the best wine and leave a trail of rose petals leading to bed. Mood lighting and maybe even some mood music to really pull it all together.
If it’s your first time then he makes sure to be super careful with you (even if you don’t need him to be).
He’ll most likely be constantly asking you if you’re doing okay or if he’s hurting you.
He tries not to be too rough or overdo it with difficult positions during your first time because he doesn’t want you to get turned off or overwhelm you.
He’s actually really flattered and honored to be your first btw. Like, you chose him to take your virginity out of everybody in the cosmos? That’s a big deal to him, so he does his best to make you feel as good as possible during it all.
Oh and don’t worry, he’s cool with wearing protection if you want it, he’s not the type to refuse that (though, he honestly loves to go raw lmao).
Sleepy morning sex? Yes please!
Don’t be surprised if you find yourself waking up most mornings to him grinding his morning wood on you or practically dry humping you lol, this god’s a total horndog lmao.
Sex is the best way to wake up in the morning in his book (coffee is a close 2nd).
It takes a little while for him to start dozing off after sex.
As mentioned before, he has a high stamina, so he’s ready to stop when you are and when he notices you getting sleepy that’s usually when he starts to settle down and start aftercare.
The only times he actually falls asleep a little more quickly is if you cuddle with him, he’s had a long day of work and he’s pretty worn out, or if you both go multiple rounds all night.
He loves a good post-sex cigar lol.
He also loves looking at you covered in his cum whether it’s on your face, your ass, your belly, or just dripping down your legs.
Whenever he pulls out and he sees his cum dripping down your thighs, oh honey, he’ll most definitely wanna go another round with you, that stuff gets him going!
He doesn’t care if you shave or not.
Legit, he’ll still eat you out (or suck you off) even if you’ve got a bush down there.
Also, if you’re not in the mood for sex, he totally understands. Even if he’s horny at the time, he’ll find a way to take care of himself.
He will ALWAYS respect your needs and boundaries when it comes to sex.
(Was gonna add these to the x Pregnant Reader headcanons, but I wanted to keep those sfw)
He’s totally down for pregnancy sex as long as you’re in the mood and comfortable.
At first he didn’t even know if it was possible for you both to have sex, he didn’t know if it would affect you or the baby.
But he knew, despite being pregnant, you were feeling needy and he loves you so much, he doesn’t want you to be unsatisfied.
He had to sheepishly ask Hippocrates about it, but once he got the okay from the doc he was so ready to hop in bed with you lol (he probably could’ve asked Hera since she’s the goddess of marriage and family, so it’s most likely that she knows about that kind of stuff, but he wasn’t gonna ask his sister-in-law stuff about his sex life with his partner lmao).
It honestly really feeds into his breeding kink lol.
He loves kissing and holding your baby bump while he makes love to you.
He doesn’t like getting too rough in bed while you’re pregnant because he’s scared he’ll hurt you or the baby.
He will be a little rough if you ask, but not as rough as he usually is.
He’s gonna make sure you’re comfortable at all times during sex (as if he doesn’t already when you’re not pregnant lol), lots of pillows to rest on and constantly asking if you’re okay or need to switch positions.
Also, he knows you need time to recuperate after the birth of your child, so he won’t ask for or attempt sex during that time period.
And he knows there’s gonna be nights where one (or both) of you is exhausted from caring for the baby, so he knows your sex life won’t be as frequent as it used to be for a little while.
But once your child is a little older and there’s not as many late night interruptions or issues then he’s totally down for making another baby if you want lol.
Once again, these are totally self indulgent, so if you don’t agree with some of these headcanons then I totally understand lol!

a song that will dig into my bones (5/?)
Chapters: One, Two, Three, Four
words: 1.1k
jon moxley/bryan danielson, eddie kingston
eddie would like to have a conversation, mox would like to get back to work
(i have no impulse control and this chapter was done and i’m very fond of it)
also on ao3
.
"I don't wanna tell you how to live your life, Mox, but I'm about to," Eddie announced, rolling his own chair across the room to collide with Jon's. "We gotta talk about this Danielson thing."
He snorted, but didn't look up from his work. The poultice wouldn't dry out anytime soon, but if he let Eddie distract him, he could end up accidentally gluing the pages together. He hadn't done that since his first repair attempt, and he sure as shit wasn't about to break his streak.
"What Danielson thing?"
"The thing where he keeps shoving his way in here like he's got any fuckin' right to." He could hear Eddie's eye roll. "I don't trust 'im, and neither should you."
"Evidence?"
"He's an asshole."
"So are you," Jon pointed out.
"Yeah, and so are you, but I still trust you. I trust the kid. I trust Dee and Bryce and Gage. I trust Chuckles and Jim, even if I know they don't like you much. I don't trust Claudio with anything but you. Hell, I even trust your old Fed buddies—when they remember how to be people." He sighed and kicked Jon's chair, "I don't trust him. He didn't give a shit about tryin' t'find you before now, so why's he keep skulkin' around?"
"He did, though," Jon murmured, carefully trying to keep the rehydrated glue from getting stuck between pages.
"Did what?"
"Give a shit."
Eddie scoffed, "Oh, sure. So where's he been, huh?"
"He thought we were better friends than I did." That was the conclusion Jon had finally drawn, as he'd spent weeks trying to parse that first little meeting of theirs. That's what Wheeler had said, and it made the whole thing make more sense. "He didn't have a way to reach me, or he would've."
"Coulda got your number from Seth or Roman," Eddie pointed out.
"And I wasn't answering their calls at the time, either. By the time I was acting like a person again, you'd already busted down my door." He sighed and set down his tools, and covered the binding back up so it wouldn't dry out. "Don't think I didn't know about you threatening everyone."
"I didn't—"
"Oh, bullshit," he grumbled, and turned to give Eddie a bland look. "Just because they were smart enough to believe you'd really beat their faces in if they gossiped, doesn't mean they didn't fuckin' tattle."
Eddie tried to look innocent for all of ten seconds, before he rolled his eyes and slouched back into his seat. "Fuckin' cowards, every one of 'em."
"Point is, even if he had asked around, by the time I was answering calls again everybody knew better than to say shit." Jon sighed and pushed his glasses up onto his head, "I love you, and I'm glad you're so fuckin' protective, but maybe you went a little too hard."
"And if I hadn't, it'd've gotten out and this place would be crawling assholes in Bullet Club shirts," Eddie grumbled, glowering at the tabletop.
"But I'd probably have an easier time hiring somebody."
"No, no," Eddie snapped, and waggled a finger in Jon's face, "do not put that on me! Even if this place turned into some kinda wrestling mecca—which it would've—it'd still be like pulling teeth to get you t'hire anyone."
Jon rolled his eyes. "No it wouldn't."
"No? Then put a fuckin' hiring sign in the window, coward."
"I don't like strangers."
"Only sociopaths do, but you still gotta hire someone," Eddie grumbled. "One day I'm just gonna put up a sign and hire somebody my own damn self."
"Better you than me," Jon muttered. He sighed and scrubbed a hand over his face. "Can you please just spell it out for me?"
"I don't like him."
"Well, I do."
"And that's the problem," Eddie hissed, and scuffed his foot against the floor. "He's a prick. He's a know-it-all asshole who likes to do things his way, and fuck everybody else. He's got an ego the size a'fuckin' Texas, to boot."
"And you think he's gonna run roughshod over this place." Jon didn't think that was true, not really. Eddie was territorial at the best of times, but he was protective, too. "You think he's gonna come in here and get me to change how I do shit, and ruin what I got?"
"That's exactly what I think."
"Uh huh. And what the fuck makes you think I would let him?" Jon shook his head, "I'm more stubborn than you, and, of the two a'us, I know what I'm doing. Why aren't you giving me enough fuckin' credit, here?"
All the fight left Eddie in an instant, and he slouched back into his creaky chair. "Mox, I'm not—"
"Bullshit. I'm telling you that I like havin' Bryan around, and you're calling me stupid."
"You're not stupid, it's just…" He trailed off with a sigh and tipped himself forward, dropping his forehead into the tabletop. "I don't want you to get hurt just 'cause you got somebody showin' you the time a'day."
"You really think I'm that easily distracted?" he asked, dryly.
Eddie groaned and knocked his forehead against the wood, once. "No."
"And you really think I dunno how to deal with ego?" Jon prompted, feeling out of place having to be the reasonable one. "After Seth? After you?"
Eddie bounced his head off of the table once more, then crossed his arms on the tabletop and hid his face. His, "No," was muffled and petulant.
"You really think I'd let him waltz in here and fuck around in my home?"
"If he batted his eyes at you, maybe."
"Oh, fuck off." Jon rolled his eyes and flicked a fingernail against the top of Eddie's head. "He's fine. I like havin' him around. He fucks up? You can say I told you so all you damn well please, but I don't think that's gonna happen?"
Eddie snorted and lifted his head, "Yeah? And why's that?"
"He flew all the way out to Philly just to buy me a cup of coffee and apologize." Jon waited for Eddie to start arguing again, but he didn't. He just deflated a little, sagging against the table. "You may not like it, but he fits."
Eddie sighed and nodded. "Alright."
"Yeah?"
"I can—I don't like him, but if he's doesn't fuck up, I can deal." He heaved another sigh and stood, moving behind Jon so he could wrap a half hug-half choke around. He pressed his forehead tight to Jon's shoulder. "Love you."
"Yeah, love you, too. Overprotective menace." He raised a hand and scratched his nails over the bristles of Eddie's hair.
Eddie huffed out half a laugh and pulled away. He gave Jon a light shove, "Go on, get back t'work. You're wasting daylight."
"Yeah, yeah. If m'not out by the time the sun sets, send a search party," Jon joked, just to get Eddie something closer to relaxed than beaten down. Say something kinda warm and familiar, make him smile. Eddie'd done that enough for Jon over the years, the least he could do was return the favor.

Best Grills Under $500 [ Wood Pellet, Propane & Natural Gas ]
Tumblr media
Looking for the best grills under $500? Look no further! We tested all of the best ones and found the top 8. These grills are perfect for anyone on a budget, and they all have great features. Top propane gas grills under $500 Best outdoor bbq grills under $500 The best 2-burner propane gas grill under $500 Weber Spirit II E-210 2-Burner Liquid Propane Grill FAQ Hi all, I just wanted to give you a quick review of the Weber Spirit II. This is an electric grill that can be used as either gas or charcoal and it's made by one of America’s most trusted brands - Weber. It has two burners which mean we'll never have any problem cooking for our whole family at once (even if they want something different every day). For example, right now Amazon has them down below 400 dollars so make sure not to miss out because when these go back up in price again customers like myself are going to buy several before finally finding enough where everybody loves their meal. I'm not sure why only a few people have reviewed this product, outside of like showrooms and test burns. I was really looking forward to hearing someone else's opinion on it because my first impression was that there were some flaws with how parts went together but then again maybe they're just fine-tuned enough where you can't really tell? I hooked up the gas bar outside which seemed easy enough when all said in done - no major complications arose from what I've seen so far. That's right. I want you to see what the burners actually look like when they shoot out flame because, as informative and beautiful as this video is for those who have seen it before, there will be some people that never get a chance at seeing these magnificent pieces of work up close - let alone shooting one themselves. Yeah, that's already hot. I'm gonna wait for just a second thought because it is the middle one? That doesn't seem like there should be any burners under this particular spot on our grill and...I don’t know what kind of magic happens when you press those buttons but somehow everything turns out okay in the end.  This is a Charbroil gas grill, and it has some really nice features. One of the best parts about this product is its burners which can reach high temperatures in just 10 seconds! You also get two vaporizer bars with stainless steel plates on them so you're able to use your hood while cooking at home or outside as well since they work great for both tasks due to our fast heating times combined together to make outdoor living easier than ever before possible. You can't see it, but I promise this is a high-quality burn. Of course, everything's new and exciting for the first time ever; you know what that means? Grease dripping onto your pan. And check out those foil pans sitting over there ready to go - just put some more grease in when needed (heh) which will make switching them out easy as pie without having too much work on hand or being messy at all because there are these nifty little tabs around each side of ours so all we have left doing after putting something back into its place...is flipping. Okay, guys. I had this thing going on at half-time and it took about five minutes for the temperature to reach 300 degrees before pumping up to full heat again with an additional two-minute interval after reaching 550°F (~ 211 Celsius). When returning back down from our max setting of 600+, we were still keepin' things warm by making some burgers while stayin' close enough so that they don't burn. The old grill that I had was a beast of an appliance, but this one is holding its heat much better. It's almost like somebody replaced all those cheap metal parts with high-quality material and it really shows up in how well they're made! With only bad weather keeping me from cooking these past few days (and no chance to do any real prep), you can bet your bottom dollar there will be some good food ready when our storm hits later today. We got a couple of bison burgers, just so I can get something on there. That's probably not going to be enough for me though because this is all new territory and who knows what'll happen? We might as well try the camera again guys in case you were wondering about that but then again it could go either way really quickly with these things sometimes haha. All right let’s do it before our noses start running rampant from excitement. All right, hope you enjoy this review. It's a really crappy video I don't do these often so please bear with me. This thing is so easy to assemble, with the screws being spot welded together and all. You don't even need a whole lot of alignment because it's already perfect as-is. There are only two things you should watch out for: making sure not too much pressure gets put on these hinges or else they'll break (though this does happen sometimes) but more importantly - make certain that your screw size matches up well against their mounting hole sizes before putting anything through them since otherwise there will be gaps at either end where metal meets plastic which can cause problems later down the road if left unchecked long enough.  The side panels are made of high-quality materials, and they're very durable.  The only thing that I don't like about them is how much fun it would be if both sides went down when you have a tank on the opposite end; however, this one does come with clamps so we can store our lawnmower in tighter spaces. For instance: putting it outside next door or something similar where there's no room left inside for tools - just make sure not to lose any precious moments before getting started by screaming every last inch around these parts. Hey, grill guys! I hope this review was helpful. So far the smoker's doing its job just fine and it holds temperature really well - above 500 degrees after having it hood up a couple of times for me so far worth an extra 150 or 200 bucks if you're on board with that decision too but don't forget about all those wonderful food flavors, either way, thanks again. The best 3-burner propane gas grill under $500   Char-Broil Performance TRU-Infrared Stainless Steel 3-Burner FAQ Do you want to talk about how tender and juicy true infrared cooking is? I mean, it is outstanding. It totally seals the juice totally seals in the flavor. Oh, I'm loving this.  I can't believe how amazing this food tastes thanks to the tender flavors that are locked in by true infrared cooking. I am so glad you mentioned true infrared cooking. It's a fantastic method of food preparation because it seals all the juices in, which means your meats are going to be juicy and tender with no leaking or drying out during the cooking process. Hey, it's been a while since we've said hi. We've really enjoyed talking with you guys on HSN and learning about your beauty routine! One of the coolest parts is that our show enables us not only to talk but also interact through live presentations which makes this experience all-around much better than if they were just broadcasted or recorded videos. One of the best parts about our job is getting to stay on top of new innovations and trends in grilling, camping & backpacking tech. We love finding ways for people to enjoy their outdoor lifestyle even more. We found Blackstone here. These guys are great! Flat top grilling is fantastic for those who want to stay more traditional, you know? And we also have this one guy with rec tech. Who wants to light a giant campfire? Every time they want to grill times, I get that. That's not into everybody's thing. And speaking of big-time commitments, stuff like that things like this are fun, but it's a whole Sunday afternoon. Those are pretty limited in what they do. These big guys are a good time.  What's the best way to cook for a large group of people? For many, we come down to gas grills. Charcoal is great too but it has its own learning curve and unless you're an experienced grill master or want to be put in some extra time at home then black hands may be all that meets your needs.  The gas grill is the way to go when you want food quickly and without any hassle. It's also easier than using other devices like smokers or wood fires, which can be hard on your patience while cooking for an audience. So next time instead of worrying about what kind of heat source will give off the most desirable flavors try purchasing some groceries at once and then turning right around after them into delicious meals. When shopping for a grill, it's important to keep in mind that they are all pretty much the same They might have different shapes and sizes but at their core, there will always be an opening where you pour fuel onto coals before putting food on top of them via direct flame or indirect heating using woods chips/ bruised branches as kindling placed underneath grates. With all of these fancy new grills, there are many features to take into account. For example, some have a little diffuser between the fire and grill that helps with flare-ups or even just makes cooking easier in general; however, it does not change what you're dealing with. This is what keeps me interested in the industry because every day there are new innovations and grilling techniques that can be hard to come by. There are many companies that we work with, but one, in particular, has always stood out to me - Charro. I was attracted by their campaign about the most forgiving grill on Earth and how easy they make it for you as a customer. This is their true infrared cooking technology. And I just want you to see how easy it can be for someone who doesn't have a ton of experience, like me at first glance might've thought was difficult or challenging but actually isn’t when we break down the steps and understand what's happening inside this cooker so watch closely because there are some really cool techniques in here. What just happened there? I flipped the steak and the chicken. No flare-up, no fires - nothing guys!  We have a lot of fun with our flare-ups, but sometimes it's hard to keep up. We get so many comments from people who just want a grill. Here, watch this. I have a whole little bit of oil on my burger. Get the salt & pepper then come over here so we can make our burger. You don't have to worry about the fire. You can cook without worrying that it might flare up or get out of control because with Char-Broil, there are absolutely no flames. This is a must-have for me.  So we're going to take some flat-out butter with a bit of garlic in it, right on the stake. Now again this is where you lose all your hair at the bottom armpit area - flare-ups don’t happen here. I've made bacon on this, the whole nine yards. It's just beautiful. Well, by now you've probably heard of our new grill fund. We're not going to make a sales pitch - this is about showing off the different features and benefits! Come with me as I take you through Charbroil's top-of-the-line smokers for all sorts of cooking needs. That's actually different to share with you guys, you know if you thinking about that next new experience or grilling out in the backyard for this summer season. Stainless steel is nice but watch those lights! That appears quite funky and neat, doesn't it? The fact that it doesn't have a side burner is the only thing I don’t like about this smoker. Everything else has been taken care of by electronic ignition, which makes things easy and simple for me. You can do it like a hundred times. Let's go and make that hot. By the way, you bury your temperature needle; it says like 650 degrees in here. I came out here to preheat this guy for ya. I said to myself, "It's about time I checked my grill." So after waiting 12-13 minutes for the cover down and grilling past the 650 degrees. The difference between barbecuing and grilling is most evident when it comes to the cooking method. Barbequing uses low and slow methods, whereas with a grill you want high heat quick so that your food cooks quickly without burning itself or having any other nasty reactions which can happen in an improperly cooked meal due to too close proximity near hotter spots.  So guys watch this. What you're not seeing here is any fire and that's, what's cool for me because what it does is the fire underneath hits a diffusing panel. And you know, when we got this call, we'll take it apart. Right? And then through that, it heats up the cast iron grill plate.  We all know how delicious grilled food can be, but what about when you need to use your grill or smoker? With the Char-Broil Grill, it's easy. The TRU-Infrared ensures that there are no flare-ups while still getting those beautiful grill marks on every steak. And since this unit runs off propane gas instead of electricity as other indoor units do. Cleanup is a breeze too thanks in large part because everything gets conveniently burned right into embers at once so nothing hassles anyone else who might come across them during operation. That is one thing I didn't realize about this grill and what makes it so great. The true infrared technology means there are no hot spots or cold ones, which will make sure you don’t have to worry when cooking food.  The grilled food will be cooked evenly and with this new technology, there is no need to worry about it being undercooked or overcooked. Every single square centimeter of your grill surface gets equally heated so you can enjoy mouth-watering meals every time. You'll never get in trouble with your wife again when you use these. The grill comes with pockets to keep all of your tools and cleaning supplies in one place, as well as a handy carrying handle. It's easy for you when things get messier because there is no more worrying about where everything went. Do you know what this is? This is butter on a grill. You guys, have you ever done this before?! It's like magic! There is no fire and it doesn't flare up. New innovations and technologies are a huge part of today's world. It is important to keep up with the latest trends so that you can stay ahead in this fast-paced industry. What a great way to enjoy your steak. This plate is so big that you can let it rest just like the steaks in front. Let me check this out for myself. The food is always tender and juicy when cooked using true infrared technology. This method has a much lower learning curve than traditional grilling fire, making it easier for beginners to use this technique with great results every time. The juice is totally sealed in and the flavor lasts long after you've eaten your fill. The steak's juicy, tenderness melts into every bite like a warm blanket on cold nights; it soothes away all worries while satisfying any cravings that may want to take control at times during the digestion process - but not before being left craving another big helping. Let's get a couple more slices in. Look at that steak, it is beautiful. I'm so glad we got this chance to enjoy dinner together and see what all of these fusses are about before our main event tonight. Man, I'm telling you. Grilling up some chicken and it's so juicy. Do you know how dry they can be sometimes? Not with this grill of mine - everything tastes amazing coming off the flames right into my mouth. I have been playing around for a couple of days now - everything I've cooked tastes like heaven on earth. Yeah, man. I said that if anyone was going to sound like a salesperson it would be me and you know what? That's not true at all! Where's a good spot to get burgers? Well, if you're looking for the most delicious and juicy meat on your burger then this place has what it takes.  The TruGreen Red Cookie is a tool that takes the guesswork out of getting great grill flavor. It has been specially designed to help you get those char marks and deep, rich flavors we all love from cooking over an open flame without burning our food or ourselves - providing safety features such as automatic low heat shutoffs so everyone can enjoy themselves at home. The cast-iron pan is a go-to for those who want their food cooked evenly and with great results. The secret lies in its ability to withstand high temperatures, which allows the metal's pores to act like tiny ovens as they heat up your meal. Let's have a look then. It feels like we've been here forever and all these people must be starving. Like this isn't enough food for them, man. Grilling is the best way to cook food because it's so easy and quick. You don't even need any fire or flare-ups, just a little heat will do! The cleanup takes less than five minutes for each item cooked on your barbie grill - that means you can have an entire meal ready in no time at all without worrying too much about clean-up afterward. We've been without a gas grill for two years. I can't believe it's taken this long to get one, but now that we do have one and will be using it often - well let me tell you about the best part! The food tastes better than anything else out there because not only does everything come off sounding tender with an incredible flavor profile; but these grills also make smoking look easy which means no more hard smoked meat or undercooked fish fillets on your plate when they should clearly still be cooking yet? here, take my scarf
Tumblr media
Steph’s back home, waiting for Springsteen outside the Joe. It’s been too long since she’s gone out to a big concert, and she forgot about the lines that wrap around the venue. The last show she went to see was a local band in Mount Pleasant, only because she had a thing for the drummer. Not many people attended that show, but at the end of the night, the drummer still took somebody else home. Steph’s over it, except for all the times when she’s not. And she thought finding somebody for a night was supposed to be easy (except for all the times she remembers that’s not what she really wants).
It’s a Monday night at the end of March, and Steph just drove all the way from Central to see Springsteen. When she bought tickets, she didn’t realize she’d be waiting outside for an hour in the cold and rain. Her friend Anita Floros, the most responsible art major in the entire university, came prepared with a hat, gloves, and a scarf. Unfortunately, she has nothing for Steph.
“You’ve lived in Michigan your whole life,” Anita says. “You know it doesn’t get warm until the middle of June.”
“You know, there are a lot of ways to say ‘I told you so,’” Steph says.
“And there are even more ways of telling somebody to shut the hell up?”
“Now you’re getting it.”
Anita smiles and tugs on her beret – the one Steph desperately wishes she had, not only because she knows it would make her look like a cool artist, but because she’s tired of getting rained on. Somehow, she swears, her hair gets wetter in the rain than anyone else’s. Maybe it’s her curse. When she was younger, she knew somebody who thought everybody was born with at least one curse, whether it was big or small. It used to make her laugh. But that was a long, long time ago.
Then she hears that somebody’s laugh.
And it doesn’t feel like so long ago anymore.
She cranes her neck and looks all around for him. Of course, she’s shorter than the average woman, and she can’t see anything unless she’s standing on a very high ladder (or a very tall man’s shoulders, which she’s done before – but not for a long time, not for a long time). But as always, he finds her.
Within seconds, Sam Doyle is approaching Steph Armstrong, just like he would have done when they were very young when they saw each other everyday.
But they still love each other everyday.
“I don’t know why I thought you’d be here,” Sam says. “Just … had a feeling.”
Steph smiles.
“Well, I think I knew you’d be here,” Steph says. “You wouldn’t miss this for the world.”
“For the world? Maybe. But for much less … yeah, I’m gonna be here.”
They grin at each other before exchanging a hug. It’s supposed to be friendly, like at twenty-one, they’re old enough to have old friends. It’s supposed to be friendly, but it’s not. With Steph and Sam, it’s never friendly, even when it ought to be.
“Hi,” Steph says.
“Hey,” Sam says. “What’s going on? What brings you here?”
“My friend wanted to see Springsteen.”
She gestures over her shoulder at Anita, who waves casually. She has no idea she’s looking at Sam Doyle, the guy Steph once confessed to her that she’d probably never get over all the way. Steph doesn’t even think about introducing them. All she can think is Sam, Sam, Sam … all she can see is Sam, Sam, Sam.
“And I did, too,” Steph says. “Except I didn’t think it would be this fucking cold.”
“Hey, neither did I,” Sam says.
“But look at you. You’ve got a hat and a scarf. It’s like you’re a whole new person.”
Sam shrugs and grins like he’s hiding something (or at least like he wants to make Steph think he’s hiding something).
“Yeah, well,” he says. “I came here with a good influence.”
Against her better judgment (and almost three whole years since their breakup), Steph feels her heart drop to her knees.
“Oh?” she asks.
“Yeah. Sadie’s up there in line. She’s holding my place. She actually says she saw you before I did, but I’m not so sure. I’ve always been really good at seeing you.”
Steph bites the inside of her cheek to keep from grinning. Sam’s too smooth. He always has been.
“You should probably get back to Sadie, then,” she says. “I know she’s probably stressed holding court for two people.”
Sam’s face falls a little.
“Right,” he says. “And you … you shouldn’t keep your friend waiting, either.”
“Yeah. Time to be cold in another location.”
Sam shakes his head and takes off his scarf. Before Steph can question it, he holds the scarf out in front of her face.
“Here,” he says. “Take my scarf.”
And at this moment – this simple, ordinary moment – Steph knows exactly what she’s going to do. She knows exactly what he means. After all, she knows Sam.
Sam is the kind of guy who wants his clothes back.
She wraps the scarf around her neck and thanks him. When she rejoins Anita in the line, she pulls Steph aside with an overexcited grin.
“That guy was cute,” Anita says. “You should date him.”
Steph’s heart skips a proverbial beat. She twists the scarf around her index finger.
“Yeah,” she says. “Maybe.”

heyy, dont know if i can ask for one with the marvel cast where the reader (girl) was feeling down bc the girl she liked was into somebody else, but she's afraid to tell this bc she doesn't want anyone to know that she's into girls bc she feels they're gonna judge her. But at the end she opens up (u can choose to who) about it and everyone tells her that it's okay & they love her exactly how she is

Tumblr media
Main Masterlist
You were on live, interacting with fans. They were asking you all types of questions. Even though it was your manager who told you that you should go live more often, you were still enjoying yourself even if you were tired.
“Favorite moment on set,” you mutter, reciting a question in the overflowing comments. “Ummm, there are a lot of moments that I really love and cherish so it’s very hard to have one favorite. I do really enjoy just, like, hanging out with everybody in between takes, though. That’s always really fun.”
More comments come in and you see multiple people shipping you with either Tom Holland (even though he’s quite older than you and you see him as a brother) or some other male star that’s around your age. And to be honest, it makes you uncomfortable and nervous.
“N-nope. No crushes or relationships for me,” you answer with an uncomfortable chuckle.
You sit there for no longer than five more minutes before feigning tiredness and ending the live.
As you got into bed that night, questions were swirling through your head and your heart was heavy.
-
The next day you went to school. While you were taking online classes for the most part, there were some days you had to go to the building. It never made any sense to you but you just did what you were told.
As you walked into first period, you sat next to your friend. Once you were in your chair, she wrapped an arm around your shoulders and brought you into her side.
“Hey,” she said with a smile, pressing a kiss to your temple. “I’ve missed you.”
You greeted her back to the best of your ability; she never failed to make you flustered. Despite the fact that she was always super affectionate, you’d never quite gotten used to it.
You and Kai had been friends for as long as you could remember. The two of you were stuck at the hip even as you became a bigger actor and had to be away for longer periods of time.
As you got older, you realized that other girls don’t get as flustered as you do when their friends show them affection. You realized that they didn’t stare at their friend’s lips as they talked thinking about how soft they looked or what they would feel like against their own. No, other girls didn’t do those things. Only you did.
You were the only one that would get nervous when Kai decided to give you a hug or hold your hand. You were the one who stared at her lip gloss covered lips and wondered what flavor she used that day as she talked about what silly things happened over the course of the day. You were the one crushing on your best friend.
“So you know Jacob? The one on the basketball team?”
You nodded in response, pulling out your binder for the class.
“Well, he finally asked me out!”
Dropping your binder in surprise, you sat back up to look at Kai.
     “What?”
     “Yeah! Isn’t that great?”
You forced a smile and nodded.
“Yeah. You’ll have to tell me about it,” you responded as you saw the teacher walk in.
While on the outside, you seemed happy, on the inside, you felt your heart shatter into a million pieces. You should’ve known better than to get your hopes up like this. There was no way she was into girls let alone you. You weren’t someone people would necessarily consider girlfriend material and you knew that. But that didn’t make this hurt any less.
You had always imagined confessing how you felt to Kai and it went one of two ways. The first way was the one that was nothing but pure fantasy; something out of a childish fairytale that would never come true. Kai would tell you she had feelings for you too and the two of you would begin dating without caring what others would think. The second way was reality; the cold hard truth. She would reject you and your relationship with her would never be the same again.
So when you went to lunch that day and listened to her ramble about her upcoming date with whatever his name was, you forced another smile on your face despite the suffocating pain you felt in your chest. You smiled despite the tightness of your throat, holding back the sobs you desperately wanted to let out. You smiled because you wanted her to be happy and you wanted to witness her happiness Even if it was at your own expense.
Because that’s what you do when you love someone.
-
The next day, you had filming. As much as you loved Kai, you were glad you didn’t have to see her today.
As you made your way to your trailer, you knew that most if not all of your castmates had already figured that something was wrong. While you were typically quiet, you were still pretty bubbly with people you knew. And you were especially bubbly after a day of doing in-person school and not seeing any of the cast for the day.
Usually, you would greet everyone as you walked but today, you didn’t even look at them; just walked by with your head down.
When you got to your trailer and closed the door, you felt tears rush to your eyes. You thought you had ran out due to the fact that you practically cried yourself to sleep last night but you suppose not.
With a shaky sigh, you wiped them away and got ready, knowing that you were set to film soon.
-
All day, you had seen the concerned glances your friends were throwing at you and if you didn’t see them, you felt them. You knew they cared and you appreciated that. But you didn’t think that this was something you were ready to talk about yet.
When filming for the day was over, you once again went straight to your trailer. You were more tired than usual, your happy facade draining you. Right now, all you wanted to do was spend some alone time and hopefully relax.
But that went to shit when you saw Elizabeth sitting in your trailer.
She looked up from her book with a smile when she heard you walk in.
“Hey,” she said, placing her book down on the couch. “You ready for tonight?”
     “Uhh what’s-what’s tonight?”
Lizze’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion and slight concern for a second before she wiped her face of those emotions.
“Girls night. With Scar, Tessa, and Brie,” she says slowly, genuinely confused as to how you could’ve forgotten when you were literally jumping for joy the minute it had been planned.
“Oh,” you mutter. “Uh, I have a lot of work to catch up on. I don’t know if I’ll be the best company tonight.” While it wasn’t a lie, you used it as an excuse to try to get out of the event.
“That’s fine. We can all help you; teamwork makes the dream work.”
You glance up at her but immediately once you see her analyzing you.
“I’m gonna go take a shower.”
You quickly bolt to the bathroom, not wanting to spend another second in that room with her. It was obvious that she was going to grill you as soon as you went back out there but you could stall. Yeah, you were good at doing that. But you knew you couldn’t hide out forever.
As soon as you stepped out of the bathroom, the chatting between the four other women stopped.
You let out a sigh and drop your dirty clothes into the hamper.
“I’m not getting out of this, am I?”
“No, sweetheart,” Scarlett said with a large grin.
You sent a sarcastic one back before groaning and plopping down on your bed.
It was quiet for a moment before the women went back to conversing, not wanting to push you when you were obviously already uncomfortable and on edge.
     “I have a crush.”
The four whipped their heads around and watched as you stared at the ceiling and fiddled with your fingers.
     “What’s he like?” Scarlett asks.
You cringe and blow out a shaky breath.
“They um,” you whispered. You take another breath trying to ease your shaking hands and steady your thumping heart. You clear your throat and try to speak again. “Sh-she’s nice. Really pretty,” your voice cracks on the last word as your eyes fill with tears.
They escaped as Brie scrambled up on the bed and pulled you into her chest.
     “Yeah?” she asked.
     “Mhmm,” you shakily hummed.
“Do you wanna tell us more about her?”
“No,” you croaked. “She has a date this weekend.”
“She doesn’t know what she’s missing out on, then,” Tessa says. “If she can’t see how great you are, then she didn’t deserve you in the first place.”
“Tes is right,” Liz agrees. “You wanna snuggle up and stuff your face with ice cream while we watch movies?”
You let out a watery chuckle before sitting up and leaning against the wall.
     “Thank you,” you muttered.
Brie sat next to you and pressed a kiss to your temple.
“No need to thank us,” she said, pulling you close. “We always got you.”

Crotch Goblins
Pairing: Purpled x Reader, Ranboo x Reader, Tommy x Reader, Tubbo x Reader
Request: wait would it be cringe if i like. requested your take on the yandere kids
Word Count: 1.6K
Warning: yandere, fighting mentioned, stalking, fear of abandonment, anxiety, stealing, kidnapping, the egg
A/N: This is all platonic! Nothing romantic.
Ranboo
This poor child lives in constant fear of forgetting you. His memory issues are a big problem and it affects everybody he loves. And his anxiety definitely doesn’t help his situation; it only feeds his paranoia of losing you.
To prevent losing any precious memories of you, he’ll write down so much about you. He’d probably have books on books just dedicated to things about you he wants to remember. Another way to always remember you is to never be away from you! It’s much harder to forget somebody if you’re constantly around them!
If you allow it, he’ll fucking cling to you. He loves the attention and reassurance you give him. Aw yeah he's a poor memory boy and constantly scared of Dream and enderwalking. Please stay by him??? Pretty please??
He’ll occasionally come over to your house in search of your company. Though he won’t tell you that directly. It’ll be under the pretense that he’s very scared of something happening and wanted to stay with you for some comfort. Not all of that’s a lie though. He always goes to you when he’s anxious; you’re his safe place. You make everything right and good again. You found it rather endearing that he trusted and liked you so much. Baked treats would always be on standby for his visits.
He’ll slowly start to stay at your house for longer and come back quicker. Soon he’s practically living with you. You’re not bothered by it at first, and you don’t think about it after a while. The domesticity of the situation just feels right. Why would you disrupt something like this?? And he deserves some of this. After all, the dsmp isn’t a nice place, and especially not to Ranboo. Why don’t you just let him have this?
Tommy
Tommy lives in constant fear of you abandoning him. Or worse, having someone take you from him. He’s lost so many loved ones already, and he doesn’t know how many more he can live through. You’re one of his most prized possessions, besides Tubbo and the Disks. Above Tubbo, but a close contender with the disks.
He’s gonna be clingy af. And he’ll do anything you want him to. By that, he really means anything he thinks you’d want him to do or something that’s “necessary”. Overall it’s just bad stuff. Be prepared for some warfare to happen just for you.
No thought, only fighting. Fights will break out over the silliest things. Like he wants attention from you? Fight! Someone getting too close?? Begone thot!! This is his friend! Not theirs! Back off.
After every fight, you’ll bandage his wounds while lecturing him. Not a single thing you say will be properly heard by Tommy. Your words would slur together in his ears, turning themselves into a beautiful song. Did you know your voice sounds really good? Oh yeah, you make the pain go away so quickly too. Your medical skills are just so fucking good, can’t you see?
There will be no question that he’d steal for you; he’d do it without question or request. If he finds anything that you might like or need? Yoinked as soon as the old owner isn’t looking. Finders keepers, after all. The smp is a dog-eat-dog world. And you deserve the fucking best shit man. If you find out it’s stolen, you’d return it in a heartbeat with so many apologies. You somehow found it somewhere and you didn’t know it was theirs. Wow you must like Tommy if you’re covering for him like that!
You’d be dragged around by Tommy on some days. All a grand tour to show you his creations, and he begrudgingly shows you some of the builds by the others. He feels somewhat inadequate when he eventually shows you his stuff. Like his multiple cobblestone towers. But you’re giving such nice compliments for each one. And they’re all so unique too. No two compliments are the same. He is a really good builder, huh?
Tubbo
He’s going to be protective of you. Not overbearingly so, but definitely is watching out for your safety a ton. With him having watched the lives of those he loves fall apart around them, he doesn’t want the same fate to fall upon you. He can’t go through that cycle again, and especially so soon. You’re so nice too. You definitely don’t deserve that fate.
Micheal took a liking to you really quickly. If Micheal likes you, that means that you’re a part of the family. He doesn’t care what you have to say, it’s just facts. You have a problem with it? Try bringing that up to Micheal. Want to tell him that you aren’t a part of the family? Exactly. So that means that you are a member.
Oh and you help him so much, which he’s thankful for. And it’s not just to a specific type of task either. You help with everything. Building, cooking, caring for Micheal, the whole biz. With you doing so much and putting so much effort into everything, that must mean that you love him like he loves you, right? Nobody does this much for somebody else without loving them. So the obvious answer is that you love him back!
Will do anything in his power to convince you to move in with him, Ranboo and Micheal. Like really hard. He pulled all of the charms and stops. And there’s a very slim chance that you didn’t move in. Though you would eventually. There isn’t a chance in hell that you wouldn’t be living in that house by some point. You’d be moving in with or without your consent. Maybe one day you just woke up in the mansion. Oh hey why do you look so confused? You agreed to move in already silly, don’t you remember?
There’s no and, if, or buts about it; he’d get Ranboo in on it also if he wasn’t already. They’re platonically married after all. And the three of you are all friends. So it’s obvious that Ranboo would be in on it as well. If he isn’t, then he’d turn a blind eye to Tubbo’s behavior. Huh, yeah he didn’t notice that at all. Nope, nothing odd happening here.
Would absolutely get you to help him on every little task that he could. Especially with building and taking care of little Micheal. The builds would be little cottage core stuff. Such sweet and quaint things. Not too much or too hard, but very pleasing to the eyes and the feeling of accomplishment the two of you got at the end of the project felt incredible. Children can be such a handful too, so any help for Micheal will be much appreciated. Plus it’s so much fun to play with children, especially children in Micheal’s age group. The more time you spend with them, the less time you have to spend with anyone else. Which leads to a smaller chance of being taken from them.
Purpled
This man? Oh he’s so fucking happy that you and him don’t have many relations outside of each other. It’s so much easier for you two. Since you two are so close, it’s easy to coerce you into living with him. Yeah it may be far from the rest of the smp, but that’s okay. It’s not like you had any friends there. It’s easier to stay safer so far away from everything. And you know what’s even better? Nobody would even notice y’all disappear!
Before y’all moved away, he always conveniently showed up at random times. It was always during times when you were alone or felt alone. Really helped you there; made you feel loved that somebody noticed and was there for you. Though it was odd how often he appeared at just the right moment. You wouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth though.
He always knows what to get you. What your favorite flowers are, what food you like, what your favorite color is, your favorite gift items. He even knows your dislikes. Even the ones you don’t tell him. You know, anything a good friend would know.
If somebody even remotely offends/scares/harms you, they’re in fucking trouble. That? Yeah, that’s a valid reason to start a fight. He’ll beat them within an inch of their life and threaten to do it again if they even thought of hurting you like that. >:( Definitely got them to stop talking to you.
Since he’s working for the egg, he feels like the egg could maybe protect you?? Yeah he’s not completely under its control and he sees how crazy the other members of the eggpire are, but it can’t be that bad. The others are just praising it, talking about how it could make all of his deepest desires a reality. Not many people like going to the egg, and they wouldn’t be looking for prisoners there. So it should be safe for you. Well, safer than the outside world. And his deepest desire is your safety and love, so that should be easy to gain if he brought you to the egg, right?
There is no question: he’d kidnap you to bring you to the egg. Though it’ll be after a while of trying to persuade you to come with him for that. You heard so many horrible things about the egg, so it’d be better if you didn’t get involved with that. So if his attempts to get you to the egg fail, then some forceful measures will be used. It was for your best interest after all.

Talks Machina Highlights - Critical Role C2E129 (March 16, 2021)
Tonight’s guests are Matt Mercer and Taliesin Jaffe!
Matt, on DMing Luc’s Revivify: “That was weird. It’s one thing when it happens because of player action and circumstances and the choices they make. When it’s entirely on me, unintentional, and just realizing different chess pieces you’ve set up, that’s rough.” It was especially rough since this was a child NPC related to a PC. “I was hoping somebody had a spell slot left.” He kept in mind that there are two clerics in the room and that they could resurrect the next day even if the Revivify went poorly. “A good chance, since it’s his first time. Okay, okay, okay, okay, I think we’ll be okay, we’ll see how this goes. It was really stressful in the moment! I did not set out to have that happen, but when I realized what was going to happen, I tried to see it through.” He wouldn’t have prevented a chance to bring him back. “There may have been an offshoot short-run series of games to find a way to bring him back. I would have found some way to correct the circumstance so the players could feel good about moving forward with the story and there was no undue punishment beyond their control.”
Taliesin on Cad’s response: “This is a big thing if you’re a cleric. It was very much coming in like an EMT. Everything should be fine... hopefully. Just focused in and got it done. The minute things started to go south it was like, okay, that’s the next problem.”
On Yeza’s feelings: “It is a very complicated situation. I think he, much like how Veth is trying to figure out what it is that she wants, I think he’s trying to help her find that while also figuring it out for himself. I think Yeza’s also noticing that because Veth’s the more active of the two of them she also takes the weight of the responsibility and the blame for things when they go wrong, unnecessarily. Especially when he himself acknowledges that he’s partially at fault for even dragging everyone in with the Conclave. As much as he’s appreciative for them coming back for him, there’s a lot of back and forth. He’s filled with a lot of regret, too, but he’s very much trying to convince Veth that it’s a burden that she doesn’t have to keep to herself, that they can share it and work through it together.” Matt mentions that, as an actor, he really loves exploring interactions between characters first and foremost. “Especially when you don’t know where it’s going to go.” He also praises Sam as a scene partner - “I really cherish that.”
How does Caduceus feel about Revivify and Speak with Dead? “Speak with Dead is an interesting middle ground, because he knows that it’s not actually speaking with the dead. It’s really just-- it’s almost medical, really. This is just reactivating a brain at a certain point. It’s practically just a muscle twitch at this point. That doesn’t really prod him in that direction. Revivify is interesting, because it had never really come up. At first I thought of it as bending the rules, but it’s not bending the rules. You knock over a plant, you replant it, you don’t stare at it and go ‘Well, that’s over.’ This is just doing the work. No, we can bring this thing back to health. This is all part of the circle of life, that sometimes we can save something. Especially given the stress that he’s put himself through over the past year of being with these people. He’s started to think of himself a bit as a battlefield medic, and triage is just part of the deal, and it’s completely acceptable.”
Did Trent really just want to talk? “Yeah, that circumstance, as it came together, Trent would never have arrived if there wasn’t an indication that there was some kind of infiltration or attack. Even beyond that, it was Jester breaking the concentration on her charm on that one guard when she created her duplicate.” The guards’ job is to inform a member of the Cerberus Assembly, and Trent lived the closest. “He didn’t know who it was, didn’t have any expectation necessarily. The minute he saw the illusion, he knew a powerful magic user was involved.” Seeing Caleb was an unexpected surprise. “I don’t think he wanted to throw down necessarily. He was more interested in figuring out exactly what the nature of this was.” Matt had multiple battlemaps that didn’t get used. “They managed to cleverly out-maneuver him in his surprise of seeing them.” The Nein rocketed up his priority list after that very quickly. Taliesin: “We’re so fucked.”
On Cad being “Uncle Caduceus” to Luc: “It’s the thing he misses most about home, is being a juvenile shit. It’s nice to be able to express that part of him again, as opposed to the serious, life-threatening, constant intensity. I’m very at home just being a little difficult.”
Cosplay of the Week: an amazing Beau! (_rumor_king, photography by kourtyardproductions on Instagram)
On Marion: “Like a lot of people in this whole narrative from the beginning, getting swept up in things larger than her and trying to adapt. This is a circumstance she’s avoided for a long time. She’s having a rough time in some ways, but simultaneously, she’s enduring. Like a mother would. She’s adapting, she’s making it work. Without much of a choice, you just kind of do the best you can and lean on the people around you to help you where they can. Luckily she has a daughter there. She’s probably surprising herself at how well she’s doing given the circumstances.” Matt talks about how weird it is to feel proud of character he’s created. “Of the many things Marion is incredible at, she’s a studier of the human condition. She’s seen and heard the stories of so many. That gives her a very special perspective. She can see elements of that fractured individual within Caleb, and knowing the good that he’s brought to his friends, and knowing he’s possibly saved her life from bad circumstances, she couldn’t not speak up. She very easily falls into that role of maternal comforter, because it’s one of the many things she’s really good at, she enjoys it, and she can see well when people need it.” He’s been enjoying having Marion along for this (despite the difficult circumstances) because he was always a little sad that they only got to see her for short periods of time.
On the Blooming Grove’s safety: “He’s afraid that it’s a premonition. He’s not pinned it down, but he’s happy to let his imagination wander. He at the very least feels like there’s a reason he’s having these thoughts, and that there’s a reason to go there. He’s a big believer that these things don’t just happen. He’s more likely to think that there’s a good reason to go versus a danger to go. He’s had a couple of ominous warnings lately, and he’s not used to them and not a fan. He’s more likely to read something like that as, there is something there waiting for you that you have to discover. There is something that is going to be helpful to you, even if it hurts.”
On Astrid: “While maybe not as readable in overall personality as Trent is, I still want to be careful to not discuss things that are still being discussed within the game and tossed around as possibilities. Astrid is another complicated character, as anyone would be who’s been through the life she has. I can’t say too much. I can say she’s definitely legitimately happy to see Bren/Caleb after all this time.” His reemergence definitely caught her off guard. “We’ll have to see where it goes from there.”
On Cad’s successful Divine Intervention: “He’s definitely hit the ‘on a mission from god’ stage. He’s been that way for the entire campaign of, this, this is what I’ve been waiting for. Even when it sucks a lot, it’s been nice that those things have popped up to remind him, no, no, you’re doing it right, everything’s good. Probably not going to survive the next week, but you’re doing good! Not quite 1 in a 100 chance, but I forget so often to make that roll, and it’s such a great roleplaying roll. I don’t know how at level 20 you could deal with the fact that you can do that every day.”
On Zeenoth getting his comeuppance: the kidnapping was a concept Marisha brought up for Beau’s backstory, and Matt went with it even though it was opposed to the Cobalt Soul’s philosophy because he knew rooting it out would make for an interesting story. “I felt it was an important beat to bring to her, because it was something that she was wronged by. And to show that there are still some good people out there who are trying to make things right.” After the tentative peace, dealing with this became Dairon’s next focus. “I was glad we finally got to it. So many people don’t have the opportunity in their lives to get that sort of justice and vindication, so if I can bring elements of that justice into our world, even for our own hope, I’m going to do that. Especially for my wife’s character, especially for a character that deserves that.” Taliesin points out that if it had come too early, Beau wouldn’t have believed it.
Cad’s thoughts on the Tomb Taker betrayal? “He knew it was gonna come at some point. There was no way that was gonna last. He was hoping it was gonna last a little longer. He was really hoping they had a vested interest in getting them all the way to the end. Nope, this is apparently as far as we go, and he was not prepared for that.” He was expecting the potential for de-escalation. “Caduceus is the only character in there that doesn’t have a history with Lucien. I think he sees him a little more clearly than everybody else does. They’re all looking for this person that Clay, at least, is of the opinion that he’s just not there. This is a very manipulative, very dangerous infernal human. Just smarter than all of them. Really aware that there is no calculating what the hell is going to happen. Conversation is the only way you can deal with someone like that.”
Fan Art of the Week: An amazing Caleb closeup! (rynn_birb on Twitter)
Taliesin on Lucien: “I’m excited he’s the one that’s going to kill us all. Poetic that this is how the game ends.” Matt was delighted when Taliesin handed him carte blanche to do what he wanted with Molly’s past. “I was like ‘shit... oh, wait!’ The character of Lucien was always intended to be an antagonist so that it would have been Molly being chased by the person who wanted their body back. But then it happened that he got his body back.” Taliesin: “He’s so much worse than I ever hoped.”
Matt, on the Holy Avenger: “I hadn’t thought to initially even give that sword.” The good roll was the only reason Kima handed that over. “Well, sure, you get the sword. It was very reactionary, it wasn’t my intent originally. I was like, well, I mean, there’s two avenues she can take with this.” Multiclass into Paladin, or lean into the fact that her subclass is essentially a barbarian paladin. “This really works out in a uniquely beautiful way. Let me see if I can lay out a path for her to earn it.”
On Cad’s attempt at lying blowing up in his face: “He was like that kid that had a really bad day in high school and was like, you know what? I’m going to let loose. This is it. I’m gonna dye a streak in my hair. And then tries to give himself a haircut and ends up with half bangs. Well, okay, obviously I’m not that person. I was feeling a little distraught and I didn’t handle it well. Maybe I’m going dark... no, I’m not going dark. Nope.” Matt mentions how much he relates to Caduceus.
Matt, on the Eyes: “What can I tell you? I’m enjoying the hell out of it. The moment they began to really push to read that book, I was like, okay, this is on you. I’m excited for the point in the narrative where the march continues back to Eiselcross. I am almost impatient - not really - because we’re on the cusp of getting to more of the meat. There’s so much to learn, so much to see, so much to explore. I love instilling my players with absolute terror.”
Thoughts on Jester’s Tarot reading? Taliesin cackles. “Molly made the cards, so. Did it to himself, he did, he did.” Matt: “Once again, another example of things working out unexpectedly and too perfectly for an improvised moment. Fuck.” Taliesin: “Bless the wisdom of chaos.” Matt: “I love that even at this point in the campaign, Molly continues to fuck with people. I’m just so proud. That deeply shook Lucien, for reasons.” Taliesin: “It’s the everlasting gobstopper smoke bomb.”

Alright, buckle up, cause I got some words for this AU (shorter than my last post though, don’t worry XD)
So, little tidbits I’m thinking up as I go, my first bit was a lot more organized than whatever this is gonna be, but it’s fanfiction, I don’t need to be fancy sksdmfowe
Mk is actually shorter than his canon counterpart, because he didn’t get a lot of physical affection growing up, and being touch-starved can actually stunt your growth, which it does, in his case, so he’s pretty small compared to Mei and Red. He’ll grow taller later in the AU when he hits his growth spurt after his Green Dragon powers finally manifest. He gets as tall, if not taller than Red Son.
Mk’s Green Dragon Powers actually appear when Red gets injured really badly during a battle. Mei goes feral on the demon that hurt him, (because fiercely protective demon instincts) while Mk holds Red and neither of them even notice when his Green Dragon Powers activate. (Somebody notices though, but we’ll get to that later >:P)
Red’s true sight is activated and he notices something weird about Mk, but since he’s injured he kinda passes out before he can really see it. He can’t stop thinking about it later when he’s up and about again though, and activates his true sight again, and what he sees is kinda super unsettling, cause it looks like Mk’s cracking apart, about to shatter.
Basically Mk’s dragon powers have been suppressing themselves because they sense danger; his dragon is hiding--but that kind of power/energy isn’t made to be shoved into a small vessel and contained for years on end, the power keeps increasing with no outlet, with nowhere to go, so he’s probably gonna implode if they don’t do something about it, and Mk has no idea, because he, and most everyone else is convinced he doesn’t have dragon powers of any sort. He’ll notice when his power starts consuming him from the inside out though--ANGST ANYONE?--but that comes later :P
Mei and Red aren’t very fond of each other at first, which you know if you’ve read my previous stupidly long post, but after Red get’s hurt, Mei goes absolutely feral, which confuses Red because he was pretty sure she hated him, (she doesn’t) They have a talk after Red’s all bandaged up and Mk falls asleep, about how they’re both kinda jealous of each other, and then it’s like a switch flicks and she’s super affectionate, protective, and maybe a little overprotective of him, just like she is with Mk. She pulls him into hugs almost more than Mk does, and Red is absolutely confused out of his mind at first, but relaxes after a bit because he actually feels relieved that Mei is actually okay with him, because she’s cool, and Mk’s best friend, and it means a lot that she accepts him. Also he really did start liking her company but wasn’t sure how to…  yeah. So he’s a little extremely awkward about it at first because Mei goes from zero to a hundred, from glaring at him from across the room to pulling onto the floor just to hug him and falling asleep on his shoulder, and Red Son has no idea how to react XD
Anyway, after that the group gets really close and it’s not uncommon for Mei and Mk to just dogpile on top of Red Son, or flop onto his lap while he’s reading. He’s super flustered over it at first, but eventually it just becomes the norm for them.
After the crazy drama of Mk almost dying, destroyed by his own hiding powers, Red Son can actually see his demon form and power better, so everybody has this big scary demon form except for him, (and I guess Tang) and that’s what that one panel is about lol XD
I’m gonna stop myself there before this becomes another crazy long post like the last one XD
THANKS FOR READING, GO DRINK SOME WATER <3
Edit: Forgot to add this, but Mei looks so freaked out that Mk has powers because she knows the only reason his parents ignore him is because they think he doesn’t, and if they were to find  out, they’d pay more attention to him in the worst way, and she doesn’t want that happening skkdmfaowef ANGST

You, Me, and Him | (dark)Bucky Barnes x reader

word count: 4k

Tumblr media
When you opened your eyes, you wondered why your room looked so strange.  What possible angle could you be looking at your ceiling from that it would be like this?
However, when you turned your head, you suddenly realized that you were not in your room at all.  The next thing you realized was that your hands were restrained— shackled, specifically, and suspended above your head.  Obviously, this realization shot ice-cold terror through your veins as you began to try to understand how you’d gotten here.  Now that you thought about it, you didn’t remember going to sleep in your room: no, you’d been out shopping, in the middle of the afternoon.  Why couldn’t you remember anything after that?
Your head spun when a door nearby opened, and the man that awaited on the other side brought it all back.
He was following me.  I tried to lose him, I turned a corner, but he was right there— and there was a syringe in his hand… and he must have—
“Oh my god,” the man gasped, “shit— are you okay?”
You stared at him in confusion, already starting to cry as you put two and two together about all this.  Generally, only one thing happened after a man drugged a woman and chained her to a wall.  The part that didn’t add up was the terror on his face as he rushed to you and knelt down in front of where you were lying— why was he worried about you?
“Oh no, oh nonononono,” he whimpered, mostly to himself, “oh god, I didn’t— this wasn’t… oh fuck.”
“Please let me go,” you started to plead between sobs, “I don’t know what you want, but I don’t have any money… I’ll give you whatever I have, I won’t tell anyone, just let me go, please—”
“No, no, no,” he shook his head quickly.  Either he wasn’t listening (bad) or he was denying your request (worse) and both possibilities just made you cry harder.  He, meanwhile, was rocking back and forth in front of you, covering his ears with his hands to muffle your cries.  “Oh god, what have I done, what have I done— what did I do?”
“Please don’t hurt me,” you whimpered.
“No, no, I won’t— I would never do that…” he sighed.  “I would never do anything to hurt you.”
You squinted as you tried to make out what that meant, sniffling as your crying subsided a little (mainly from being distracted by the confusion of it all).  “Do I… know you?”
He chuckled a little, scratching the back of his neck nervously.  “Uh, no, not really, I’m— my name is Bucky,” he explained, “I— you might have seen me on the news, but that wasn’t really me, that was this other guy—”
“Why did you do this to me?” you interrupted.
“No, see, that’s the thing: I didn’t do this to you.  It was… it was somebody else.  He’s… he’s in my head, and every once in a while he takes control and sort of does his own thing…”
Not that anybody who kidnaps somebody is totally right in the head, but this guy is certifiable.
“And he did this to you.  Don’t worry, it’s gonna be okay,” he assured you, though it wasn’t comforting at all, “I’m not gonna hurt you, I would never— I won’t do that, okay?  I’m just gonna… I’m gonna let you go.”
You sighed with relief, although some voice in the back of your head told you not to trust him just because he seemed regretful.  Regardless of his strange excuses, this was still the man who kidnapped you.
“You don’t believe me,” he realized with an awkward smile.  “It’s okay, I understand.  I wouldn’t believe me either— god, I must sound crazy, right?  But I’m not crazy.  I don’t think…”
This time your sigh was less relief and more irritation.
“See, I was, uh, tortured.  Experimented on.  That was a long time ago, and I’m mostly over it, but this other guy— he’s a soldier.  I guess I am, too, but he’s… more on the war crimes side of things.  Like, assassinations and stuff.  That’s a whole other story…”
I think I’d prefer to hear that one.
“Anyways, sometimes I get sort of… messed up?  Up here?” he gestured to his head, leaning back to sit on the floor in front of you with crossed legs.  “Like, I can’t tell what year it is or how long it’s been since I’ve slept.  My psychiatrist says I’m ‘losing time’ and that it’s normal for people with… whatever it is that I have.  But it’s scary, you know?  Because I don’t know what I’ve done in that time.  So today, I woke up and had no idea how I got where I was—”
Same.
“And I came down here and… you’re here.  I didn’t… I didn’t do this, I can’t stress that enough.”
“So… this other guy…” you tried to understand, hoping that appealing to his twisted sense of logic would get him to tell you something actually useful, “he did this?”  Bucky nodded.  “Does he do this often?”
“What, kidnap women?  No this is… this is new.  As far as I know.”
“Why me?”
“Uh…” he stalled, looking away.  “God, this is sort of embarrassing, but… it’s probably because I sort of have this, um, crush on you…”
“You don’t even know me,” you mumbled.
“No, you don’t know me, but I… I know you,” he nodded confidently.  “Do you remember a few months ago when you went to that art gallery by your apartment?  It was raining that day, I couldn’t tell for sure if you came in to look at the art or if you were just trying to get out of the weather but, anyways, you had on this big puffy coat— ‘cause it was cold out— and you took off your hood and you just looked around… I saw you, cause I was in there to look at the art, too, and you looked so beautiful.”
You were getting anxious.  He said he would let you go but he hadn’t really made any progress on that goal.
“And I sort of followed you after that, and watched you— I mean, that sounds really bad, it wasn’t like that, I just… I just wanted to make sure you were safe and—”
“Let me go, Bucky, please,” you interrupted, getting more desperate.
He shook his head with a sigh.  “You’re right, you’re right, I’m sorry… I just haven’t had anyone to talk to… you’re a good listener.”
Yeah, everybody’s a good listener when they’re tied up and forced to listen.
“Just let me finish my story and I’ll let you go.  I was kind of in the middle of something.  You know, it’s rude to interrupt people.”
Oh fuck.  You’d angered him.  It was subtle, but he was clearly irritated; he looked at the floor, and his jaw tightened a little.  It must have been that this candid talk made you forget he was unstable and that you needed to tread lightly.  You couldn’t afford another mistake like that.
“I’m sorry, Bucky, finish your story,” you offered.
“Okay,” he nodded, “well, anyways, when you came into the gallery you looked around for a while but there was one painting you kept looking at— do you remember it?”
You shook your head.
“Really?  You must’ve stared at it for half an hour.  I swear I saw you tearing up a bit,” he smiled.  “Clearly it had an effect on you.  I wasn’t sure if you were considering buying it, or if it would make you upset to see it in your house every day, but the way you looked at it… it changed everything for me.  You smiled at me as you left, just a quick glance— I’m not offended that you don’t remember me just from that, if anything it’s good because it made it a lot easier to trail you, but… I knew then that you were such a kind, soulful person.”
“Oh my god,” you groaned, “I remember… I remember that.”
It was so cold out that the rain was nearly frozen.  You’d gone in to escape the elements, but one painting drew you in.  Someone else was there, a man that you remembered thinking was attractive but a little eerie with the way he just stood there, seemingly even more purposeless than you.  He smiled at you as you left, and you smiled back.  You were just trying to be friendly.  No good deed, though, right?
“Do you remember the painting?” he asked again, leaning in a little closer with innocent hope sparkling in his eyes.
“Yes,” you nodded, “it was… it was a woman, and she was looking away from the viewer, out over the water.  She looked sad, but determined, like she was thinking about something impossible to describe.”
He smiled wide then, apparently impressed by your description.   “Look,” was all he said as he pointed to the wall beside you— and as you turned your head, you gasped as you saw it: it was the painting, even more hauntingly beautiful than you remembered.  You started to cry again, because somehow it was this show of disturbed affection that made you more sure than ever that you weren’t going to get out of here.
“Don’t be scared,” he soothed, moving closer again and wiping the tears from your face gently.  “It’s gonna be alright.”
“Please let me go,” you whispered shakily, looking back at him, straight into his eyes, as if maybe you could find some sanity there to appeal to.
He frowned a little as he pulled back, bringing his thumb to his lips to chew the nail nervously as he thought.  “See, here’s the thing…”
“Bucky, please—”
“I don’t think I can do that,” he sighed.
“Please,” you cried, the word starting to lose all meaning as you just fought to be able to speak past the force of your sobs, “please, please—”
“You could tell somebody— and I know it wasn’t me, but the police aren’t gonna care about that.  I always have to take the heat for what he does… and I would just rather not go to prison.”
“I won’t, Bucky,” you feverishly defended, “I wouldn’t tell, I swear— we’re friends!  Friends don’t tell on each other—”
He interrupted you as he grabbed you by your shirt suddenly, pulling you towards him as you recoiled.  “I don’t have friends,” he growled.
“We… we could be friends,” you offered weakly.  “I could be your friend.  Do you… do you want to be my friend?”
He studied your face, the gaze of his bright blue eyes burning through you instantly.  “I can’t say that I do.”
You whimpered as he leaned in closer, taking a deep breath right against the side of your face.
“You smell so good,” he whispered, his left hand— bionic metal, much to your horror— reaching up to trace over your face and hold you close to him.  “We aren’t friends, silly; we’re soulmates.”
You shivered, gut sinking as you closed your eyes and thought there might still be a chance it was all a horrible dream.  This isn’t happening to me, this isn’t happening to me, this can’t be happening to me—
“Hey!” he yelled, slapping you on the face suddenly.  “Keep your eyes open!”
You cried but tried to do as he asked, knowing it would only be so much worse if you didn’t do whatever he wanted.
“The point is, even if you didn’t tell, letting you go just isn’t… economical for me,” he explained.  “‘Cause the truth is, even though I didn’t want to kidnap you, right now I wanna… I wanna keep you.”
He didn’t even let you start crying hard again before he cradled your face in his hands, refusing to let you turn away.
“No, baby, it’s okay— it’s gonna be good!” he promised.  “I would never do anything to hurt you.”
“Please, Bucky, don’t do this,” you sobbed.
“Shh, shh, don’t you get it?  He did this to help me— he knew I couldn’t do it alone, ‘cause I was too afraid to talk to you, but he brought you to me, and now I’m gonna make you understand how good we are for each other.”
He scooted closer, his hands rubbing your legs through your jeans as you cried silently.
“And that’s why he didn’t touch you,” he continued.  “He just left you for me, cause he knows you’re— you’re mine.”
He kissed you suddenly, and it was awkward and sloppy against your unwilling lips.  His tongue eventually managed to force your mouth open, exploring and filling it as you struggled and failed to turn away.  His hand on your jaw was almost tight enough to choke you, a looming threat of what awaited if you didn’t kiss him back.  You couldn’t exactly put much passion into it but you tried your best.
He was smiling when he leaned back and broke away from you, still holding your face and seeming almost proud— of you or himself, you weren’t sure.
“You are so perfect,” he praised quietly.  “I can’t believe I finally have you… god, it’s like a dream come true.”
Or a nightmare, you responded internally.
You jumped when he pulled the knife out from a holster on his belt.
“Oh, this?  I won’t hurt you with it— so long as you stay still,” he explained gently as he leaned forward and started to cut off your shirt while you tried desperately not to shake.
He looked at you with the reverence of a man at the altar as he tore the shreds of your clothes away, cutting slowly until you were just in your bra and panties.
"Stop," you whispered, but it was so quiet he must not have heard you— or he just didn't care.  He gingerly slipped the knife between your bra and your chest, tugging out to snap it off.
He took a breath to steady himself; he seemed nearly as nervous as you, just in an entirely different way.
"Baby," he mumbled under his breath, "god, I just wanna do everything to you."
It was hard not to tense up when he said that, or when he brought the knife between your legs to cut off your underwear, but you willed yourself not to shiver because you really weren't ready to lose anything important if his hand slipped.
With them cut and tossed aside, you forced your eyes shut— because you couldn't stop him from seeing you, but at least you didn't have to watch.  As your legs instinctively closed, he gently guided them back open, metal fingers cold on your skin but flesh ones unbearably warm.
“You have such a nice body, I don’t know why you hide it in those baggy clothes,” he chuckled as he ran his hands over your skin.  “I watched you shower a few times, you know, and I saw you look at yourself in the mirror before you got in…"
You opened your eyes, but he wasn't looking at your face, instead taking a long moment to take in everything else.
"You looked like you were disappointed," he continued, "but— but you’re beautiful, and you should know that.  You need somebody to tell you that.”
You felt your face heating up even though you should be horrified, not flattered.  To be fair, it was a bit of both.
“Do you think I’m, you know, handsome?” he asked awkwardly, glancing up to your face again.  “People used to say that about me, a long time ago.  Are you… attracted to me?”
You shook your head, lying.
“Then why are you so wet?” he sing-songed with a mocking grin, thick fingers spreading your lower lips and gathering the arousal they found there.  You whimpered when he brought those fingers to his lips and sucked them hungrily.  “Fuck, you taste incredible— I mean, I knew you would, but wow, this is so much better than just smelling those panties he stole.”
You shivered with disgust, realizing that he was responsible for the pair you thought were lost in the laundry.
“Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that,” he laughed.  “Yeah, it was his idea and all, I didn’t do anything but… I’ll tell you a little secret,” he smirked as he leaned in, right against your ear, whispering: “I got off with them, and on them, and it felt soooo good…”
He quickly pulled his cock out of his trousers as you started to struggle against the chains again, getting a quick glimpse before looking away as you wondered how he could possibly fit that in you.
“Do you like knowing that?  Do you like knowing I stroked my cock and thought about you?  I imagined you were laying under me, begging me to fuck you… and now you’re here, and it’s real, and it’s gonna be wonderful.”
You gasped as he suddenly pushed in, trying not to react but knowing he was watching your face intently and saw it all.  “Fuck, baby,” he breathed, “you’re so tight, god, I knew you’d be perfect…”
You cried as he started moving inside you, holding your hips steady and filling you completely until it actually hurt to be stretched so wide.  You were sure nothing had ever been so deep inside you, and it was making your whole body jolt with each thrust.
“Does it feel good?  Do you like my cock in you?” he asked— but it didn’t sound like dirty talk, it sounded like he was genuinely asking.
You shook your head, lying again.
“What if I do this?” he offered, reaching down and circling a calloused thumb over your clit.  Your back arched into his touch, and he grinned proudly.  “See, doesn’t that make it better?  I bet I can make you come.”
One final lie for the night, you shook your head.
"Oh, doll," he soothed, kissing away a tear that had trailed down your cheek, "it's okay… it's okay to like it.  You don't need to pretend."
He reached down and pressed his hand into your lower belly, making you winced as he applied pressure until it took everything you had not to scream.
"Feel that?" he cooed.  "I can feel it.  We're finally together, baby, you never have to be alone again… isn't it incredible?"
Sobbing, your back began to arch up against the wall you were chained to.  With his hand pushing on you, it was impossible to ignore the head of his cock slamming into your g-spot— hard enough that your entire body shook with each thrust.  It was unlike anything you’d ever experienced before, and not just because you’d never been kidnapped before.  As he leaned down to suck on your neck hard enough to leave a mark, it was hard not to feel like he was claiming every part of your body all at once.  You bit down on your lip, afraid to moan too loud, but he heard the muffled noises and pulled up to tut at you disapprovingly.
“Don’t do that,” he frowned, “I wanna hear everything, pretty girl.  I wanna hear you beg for me.”
You whined as you tried to resist it, but getting railed like this made you want to do whatever he told you to.
“Come on, baby,” he encouraged sweetly, “just let go, I know you want to…”
It was bubbling up in your chest faster than you could stop it, each cry louder than the last until you couldn’t hold back anymore.  “Bucky!” you shrieked, hating yourself as you heard him laugh happily right by your ear.
“Oh I know, I’m right here, doll,” he soothed gently, holding you tightly; your hands wiggled inside their shackles, and you shamefully realized that you were craving to wrap your arms around him, run your fingers through his hair.  The desire to push him away was lost to the need to reach your peak.  “Say my name just like that when you come on my cock, sweetheart.”
Your walls were already convulsing and you were moaning so loud you thought you might lose your voice.  Pleasure built up faster than you could comprehend, and so intensely that little black dots were dancing on your vision.
Oh god yes, right there, don’t stop, yes, you would’ve cried out were it anyone else doing this to you.  Instead all you could do was whimper his name, somewhere between begging for more and begging for mercy.
“Fuck, fuckfuckfuck, I can feel you coming for me— you’re so good, so fucking good,” he groaned, “I’m close already, can you believe it?  I should slow down, so I can make you come again, but you feel too good, I can’t stop.”
Most of that was lost to you, though, because everything had gone numb and fuzzy in the wake of your orgasm, your body limp in his grasp.  The way he pulled your hips into his made you feel used, like a— well, like a doll, fittingly.
“Oh god, babygirl— can I come inside?” he asked gently, but when you weakly shook your head, he just smiled.  “It’s gonna feel so good to fill you up.”
Before you could make it clear that you were saying no, he leaned forward and kissed you— aggressive and rough as he started to breathe deeply and moan against you.  You kicked your legs to try to get him away but all you could do was uselessly scrape your feet against the floor.  You could feel him pulsing inside you, growling against your lips until suddenly warmth began to paint your walls.  Whimpering, you slouched limply as the fight left you.
“Oh my god, angel,” he sighed, pulling back and smiling as he traced his thumb over your face, following the path of a fresh tear, “that was… you’re incredible.  I’ve never come like that, you feel so fucking amazing.”
He kissed you again, gentler and slower than before.
“Is it weird that I don’t wanna pull out?” he asked just louder than a whisper, chuckling as his nose brushed against yours.  It was like this guy thought he was in a Hallmark Christmas movie while you were in a Lifetime thriller.  “I could just stay inside you forever… but I won’t.”
He watched in awe as his hips pulled back and his softening cock slipped out of you.  Your face burned with shame as you felt a gush of his come (and yours) leak from you.
“Wow, look at that,” he mumbled weakly.  “Can you push it out, baby?  I wanna see how good I filled this pretty pussy.”
It made you feel disgusting, but you summoned the last of your strength to do as he asked, unable to see the results but watching him stare between your legs and bite his lip.
“Fuck, babygirl, that’s… that’s fucking gorgeous.  I stretched you out pretty good, and you’re all swollen…”
Strange enough, he pulled you into a hug, burying his face in the crook of your neck.
“You’re so perfect, sweetheart… my pretty little doll.”  When he pulled back a bit, he moved a stray hair that had stuck to the sheen of sweat on your face, admiring you with a small smile.  “God, I can’t believe you’re finally all mine.  Guess he was lookin’ out for me, bringing you here.  I oughta thank him, somehow.”
He must have known what you were imagining by the way you tensed up, and he laughed softly.
“Don’t worry, baby, I won’t let him touch you.  I won’t let anyone touch you but me.  Now let’s get you out of these chains and into a hot bath, how’s that sound?”
Weakly nodding, you let your eyes fall shut as he reached up to unlock the metal cuffs around your wrists.  Holding your hands in his, he softly kissed the marks left there from when you’d still been fighting, before finally scooping you up into his arms.  He didn’t struggle at all to lift you, and you were too exhausted to notice the way you were leaning into his chest as you dozed off.
You dreamt that you were looking out over still water, contemplative but determined, before falling right in.

Imma be honest I found the finale really anticlimactic and like they were adding a bunch of stuff to make it unique but just ended up feeling unfinished in the most avoidable way possible
I didn’t want to tack my personal opinions on the summary post just so people could reblog it objectively, but honestly? Yeah I kinda feel where you’re coming from [disclaimer: I know nobody wants to listen to somebody rail on a series they enjoyed, so here’s your warning that I’m gonna be complaining a lot in this post and it’s all just my personal opinion, don’t take it too seriously]
Certain finales do feel a lot more complete than others, but all together? They feel very....disjointed and hollow. Based on the few details I’ve heard and the fates of certain characters, season 2 sounds like it’s going to be a hard reset, so I’m saying all of this under the assumption that this is where their stories end, full stop.
Scott’s death feels a bit unnecessary, he didn’t save anyone, they all still fell apart without him. I’m not sure if it was meant to imply that he transferred Xornoth’s soul with him? If he did, then I think it would’ve been more clear by having both of them confused, that way we could get Xornoth’s reaction to finally being free of Exor and getting to live a happy life. If that wasn’t meant to be the case and Scott is the only one who’s soul was transferred, well then. . . what exactly was the point? I suppose he theoretically saved everyone from Xornoth, but the world still ended in its own way. Scott’s death doesn’t feel like it saved anyone but himself, but maybe that’s the tragic point. That the cycle cannot ever be truly broken, just postponed.
Gem and fWhip’s endings feel. . . kind of selfish, honestly. And that is, to some extent, in character. I don’t have as much of a problem with fWhip’s as I do with Gem’s, though. I’m a little annoyed that they didn’t so much as mention or say goodbye to Sausage. Like if they met up and he insisted on staying behind to fix this mess, I would’ve been perfectly happy. It’s the fact that they didn’t even acknowledge leaving him, or anyone, behind. They spent so much of the series intertwining their trio that to just abandon him without a second thought doesn’t sit right with me. Sausage specifically made a point to emphasize how much his character cared and would sacrifice for his friends (going as far as to namedrop Gem!), so why they didn’t at least include some sort of goodbye baffles me. Gem’s finale especially bothered me because she treats her ending like this storybook, the wizard lives happily ever after in retirement, the Crystal Cliffs are fine, etc. It doesn’t fit. There’s not even a courtesy hand wave to anyone else, she doesn’t even acknowledge missing any of them, she’s just living happily ever after and that’s it. (Not to mention the dragon egg getting tossed away. They built it up like it was the only thing that could possibly stop Xornoth and then never touched on it. It’s just there! It never did anything, what was the point?)
Other than those two, I didn’t have nearly as much beef with anyone else’s individually. In a vacuum:
• Lizzie’s ending feels anticlimactic. I think if she had drawn out losing the blessing, it would’ve been perfectly fine. If we had gotten to see her panic and slowly begin forgetting everything she knew and loved, it would’ve been gut wrenching. The fact that it just stopped and she left without a thought makes it feel as if all her buildup, all these prophecies and developments, meant nothing. It all just falls flat.
• Jimmy’s ending is depressing as all hell and it sucks that when he finally tries to stand up for himself and take charge, it literally blows up in his face and ruins everything and he just ends it feeling miserable and worthless. That’s not so say it’s bad in an objective story telling sense, but it just leaves you feeling sad (once again though, not necessarily a bad thing, just not for everybody).
• Joey’s ending feels a bit vapid. It doesn’t feel like he got much character growth and he clearly never moved past Xornoth, but it was decently tragic and admittedly still in character.
• Pixl and Joel’s endings are whatever, honestly. It’s sad that Pixl didn’t get to make one but it’s understandable. Joel kept up the same energy throughout the series so his is at least consistent and I expected nothing less.
• Kathrine and Pearl’s endings are both fine in my opinion. Outside of the general idea of what could’ve been, neither leave me feeling particularly empty. (Pearl especially kinda got screwed over by real life events). All and all, I thing they’re perfectly reasonable sad endings individually, though I was not personally invested in them so Kathrine or Pearl fans probably have more so say than I do.
• Surprisingly enough, the endings I enjoyed the most were Sausage and Shubble, one I followed religiously and the other I did not actively watch! My only criticisms are pretty minor. I’m disappointed Shubble’s relationship with Xornoth wasn’t explored more, but damn she set a reasonable end goal and she went for it. I feel pretty content with her ending where she did. As for Sausage, aside from never saying goodbye to Gem or fWhip as I mentioned earlier, I’m only really disappointed that the clone arc was cut so short. There wasn’t much of an explanation as to what he was, how exactly he got there, and what he was even gonna do. I’m sad there was no confrontation, Sausage just tricked him and that was that. That particular story beat felt pretty anticlimactic. The actual ending of Sausage sacrificing himself felt fine, though. Outside of a few loose ends and missed opportunities, I think both Sausage and Shubble had the best individual endings.
All that said, Empires was unfortunately not a vacuum. All together, their endings feel like a bunch of loose ends. There was no final tie together, everyone just sort of faded out alone. A lot of us were disappointed with the initial Xornoth defeat because so few members actually participated, but this honestly feels even worse. The book of prophecies wasn’t very actively explored, it just said some things and then they kinda happened, it didn’t feel like it really built up, yknow? It feels like a lot of things they seemed to be building up to fell flat. Not all of these endings even feel like they were part of the same story.
Like you said, it all feels very disjointed and unfinished, which is really a shame. I still think it’s a good series overall and I enjoyed most of it, but a lot of the finales either felt disappointing or even a bit frustrating. Of course, I’m still looking forward to season two regardless.

Here's the notes for everything that would happen up until the end of the story.... as far as I had it figured out. You'll notice things are a lot less fleshed out the later things go. That's a big reason why this never got finished. the longer I tried to keep the thing running, the more I realized I never had any idea what I wanted to actually DO with this story which made it pretty hard for me to keep up. it's hard to write a story you're trying to take seriously if all you really have are jokes, it turns out.
I haven't reread any of this or edited it at all so who knows what kind of notes I might have written in between things haha
P: so as i was saying about undyne-
C: who’s undyne?
Everyone freezes. Chara just walked right up to papyrus without being noticed. Paps freaks out for a sec before he pulls sans into a huddle. Chara frowns and tries to peek around.
~Montage of papyrus’s excitement and harder puzzles, death montage
~Junior jumble: its sudoku now
Chara’s doing puzzles and sees flowey spying. They shout him over
C: HEY! still following me, loser? Don’t you have anything better to do? (but they smile)
F: somebody’s gotta make sure you don’t get killed too much out here
Flowey pops up closer to them
C: nah, I’m fine! I’ve got that reset power!
F: not for long considering how much you use it (mumbles. Rolls eyes??) (some depiction of chara dying a lot in the bg)
C: by the way…. In the ruins you were telling me to use it… care to tell me more about it since you seem to know so much?
F: I-... uh… well you already know the most of it. It just resets you back to your last SAVE point like nothing happened. Only beings with a powerful SOUL can use it, so monsters with their weak souls can’t.
Chara stops their puzzle work and sits to even the heights: Can flowers?
F: what the heck are you-... oh, no no no. I’m different.
C: so you have the power too.
F: No! I mean-, i used to before you came around. Yeah.
C: so you’ve done resets. (urging him on)
F: yep.
Chara waits a while: ...thats all you have to say?
F: yep
Travel scenes from here on out depict chara and flowey together
Gauntlet:
Flowey remarks that he doesn't remember a save point being before it. Chara goes along and gets paps’ bit. He does to activate it
C: wait this isn't for real right? U can't be srs!!!
P: yeah I am, this is hard mode!
Just show chara repeatedly spawning at the save and running back in with flowey watching them
Then cut to the end chara on the other side of it panting and exhausted, papyrus shocked but also beaming
P: wow you did it!! I'm so proud of u human! I didn’t think you would actually be able to get through it--- I mean- drat! Foiled again! I'll get u one of these times!
Papyrus runs off and Chara watches him with a look of wonder in their eyes.
F: don’t get too excited. his pride is cheap, he’s proud of everyone and every thing
Chara grumbles and marches forward: whatever. I don’t hear you saying you’re proud of me, so why do I have to listen to what you have to say
F: You know, you’re gonna have to fight him soon. Didn’t sans say so? What are you going to do then, die over and over until you give up or are you going to try to murder him just like you did with Toriel? :)
C: I am not! I’m gonna talk him out of it and go right past him like everyone else. Who knows! Maybe he won’t even fight me because he’s that cool. Even if he does, he’s probably a wimp anyways.
F: I wouldn’t be so sure! I bet you don’t stand a chance.
C: shut up! Quit following me if you’re gonna be this useless.
Paps fight
As papyrus carries their body to the shed to rest. Opens on their vision returning and they see their hands hanging toward the ground.
C: why didn’t you kill me? You’re stronger than everyone else, you could easily do it. Why dont you finish me off so everyone can leave or whatever it is you need me to do? Why did you hold back?
P: OH! YOU’RE AWAKE!
C: you held back…
P: OF COURSE i DID! I COULD NEVER KILL YOU, YOU’RE MY-- I HOPE I’M NOT BEING TOO FORWARD, BUT I LIKE TO THINK OF YOU AS MY FRIEND! AND EVEN THOUGH WE DO NEED YOUR SOUL, YOU DESERVE A FIGHTING CHANCE TO DO… WHATEVER IT IS YOU’RE TRYING TO DO.
Chara is too shocked and confused by the sentiment: I don’t… I don’t understand?
P: WHAT’S SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT A FRIEND NOT KILLING YOU? HUMANS ARE SO STRANGE ...OH! I SEE NOW! THE REASON WHY YOU CARRY YOUR KNIFE LIKE THAT. IT’S BECAUSE YOU’RE MORE AFRAID OF US MONSTERS THAN WE COULD EVER BE OF YOU!
He sets them down in the shed on the dog bed.
P: I’M SORRY, HUMAN! I WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU MORE WARNING IF I HAD KNOWN HOW YOU FELT.
C: then… does that mean you’re going to let me go?
P: ABSOLUTELY NOT! I ALREADY CALLED UNDYNE TO MEET ME SO SHE CAN TAKE YOU! AND YOU NEED TO REST NOW AFTER ALL THAT!
C: !! I-I don’t know who Undyne is, but I can’t do that. I’m in a hurry to get out of here.
P: HMM… IF YOU’RE IN A HURRY THEN… NO, NO YOU CAN’T! WE NEED YOUR SOUL, I CAN’T JUST LET YOU LEAVE. UNDYNE’S REALLY COOL TOO, YOU’LL LIKE HER!
C: No, I have to go.
P: AGH, WELL… I SUPPOSE IF YOU CAN GET PAST ME BEFORE I CAN CATCH YOU, THERE’S NOTHING I CAN DO. BUT I WON’T GO EASY ON YOU!
Cut to chara walking toward waterfall, papyrus calling after them to come back and hang out sometime. They keep walking and mutter to themself: Sorry, but I’ll get out of here before that ever happens.
WATERFALL
They see monster kid and side eye sans as they charge in, hurriedly.
Chara keeps flowey around and asks him to read the words for him. FLowey says it’s not important at all to anything they’re doing. It’s just monster history junk that means nothing if chara’s trying to leave. Chara’s like shut up cmon help me out maybe there's clues. FLowey reads some history stuff in waterfall treating it like shit they already know
F: why do you care about all this garbage anyway?
C: I dunno, I guess it just sounds familiar. Like a story I heard a long time ago.
Chara stops suddenly and checks their phone. Flowey asks what’s up
C: i thought it rang… you didn’t hear-
The phone starts ringing. Papyrus is cheerfully on the other end and they walk and talk.
He tells them about how he heard so many horrible things about humans and the surface but chara was much nicer than he ever expected. Chara asks where he heard that and he says a flower told him. Chara covers the receiver and looks around for flowey, suspicions of him raised.
Montage w monster kid and umbrella
Chara falls from undyne’s spear attack and wakes up in the trash with flowey over them.
F: hey, wake up. I can tell you’re not dead so hurry up and get moving.
Chara’s kind of bummed: she killed me four times back there. And it wasn’t even a fight. I couldn’t talk her down or… i couldn’t even talk to her, I could barely see her.
F: what, are you giving up or something? You know she can kill you as much as she wants and you aren’t gonna die.
C: I know that! I know this is just like a game where you can keep on going but… it hurts. And it’s exhausting.
F: what will you do then? Sit here in this trash and do nothing?
C: *sigh* no. I’m just feeling down in the dumps.
They smile and get up.
As they’re walking out, they hear a click and someone to tell them to “hold it”
Mad dummys behind them and she just has a gun. Pointed directly at chara. She starts on her thing about the cousin and then blook saves the day.
Chara meets up with blook again. They go to where the snail races used to be. It’s all busted and unused
C: what’s this supposed to be…?
B: oh…. this used to be a snail farm…. And this was a race course…. For snails…. But a long time ago people started to call the races “insensitive” so we had to close them…. Sorry you can’t have any fun racing snails…
C: why was it insensitive…?
B: ...i’d… rather not talk about it………..
Timeskip
C: hey flowey! What’s up with this place and snails?
F:...i wouldnt know.
montage
After waterfall where undyne says how many souls they have
C: flowey… if they have 6 human souls, that means 6 others fell down and died here, so…
F: what?
C: i just- i mean you were the first one i met-
F: no, no, no, ive never killed anyone. You’re the only human i’ve seen since i woke up
Chara relaxes: ok. So you dont know anything about them.
F: no. i heard some things from toriel, not much. It’s too late to try asking her, but she’s seen all of them. She was there at the beginning even.
C: the beginning?
F: you know…. When humans started falling down here and monsters started killing them.
Chara goes silent in thought: wait… how… long has this been going on? How old is toriel?
F: dunno
Chara after having a rough time: it’s hard, but no matter what happens i can just keep trying. I’ll make it out of this! You believe in me right, flowey?
F: no i think you should give up.
Page/chapter ends there. Next is chara going up to fight undyne.
Open on a riff on the “long ago” cutscene that chara cuts off by saying they already know this story
Undyne screams SHUT UP!!! I’m doing my HEROIC MONOLOGUE!! Whatever, I bet you haven’t heard the part about the King and Queen’s human child who died of illness and their other son who was killed by the humans when he tried to return their body to the surface?!
C: No I think I heard that one too? Why are you telling me all this anyways??
U: because this is an UNSKIPPABLE CUTSCENE!! NYAAAGGGHHHH!!!!!
Chara’s getting their ass beat and on low hp: I’ll die in a hit or two. But that’s fine because I’ll just start this over. I’ll start from… where was the last save point…
A vision of them with flowey. Their eyes go red and the flashback cuts in between shots of them running from undyne
F: I think you should give up
Ch: what… give up?? I thought you were on my side with all the telling me to keep going and-and the hanging out with me?!
F: as if you had any other choice but to keep going! We both know you don’t.
C: so you’ve just been following this whole time waiting for me to give up and die, huh?! Why, are you trying to steal my soul just like everybody else?!?
F: it doesn’t matter how hard you try, you’re going to die! And die and die and die! You can reset as much as you want, it won’t change that! So what if I am waiting for you to give up? You’re the last thing keeping monsters trapped down here. If you give up, you’ll give everyone what they want!
C: I thought you wanted to help me?! I thought you were my friend!
F: I would never be friends with a human! You’re all nothing but killing machines!
C: I haven’t killed anyone!
F: You killed Toriel! No number of resets can change what you did! You’re a horrible, disgusting human just like all the others and everyone would be happier if you were dead!
Flowey could say something about dying down here is better than their inevitable death on the surface. Their death would at least be worth something. Mean something
Chara escapes the fight, undyne collapses, and they walk away. they tell themselves they won’t give up. They don’t need help, especially not from that dumb flower. They’ll live to spite him and everyone else who tries to kill them
Chara goes in and meets alphys and overall is p meh abt it bc bad mood. Alphys helping them through the underground makes them talk to themselves about how they dont need flowey, they can do this themself. Friends are no good.
hotland is as normal. probably figure out some indication of things not right. make the game seem broken bc they arent supposed to get so far like this
Chara meets with sans at mtt resort for food reluctantly. Lets him say his piece. After he’s done threatening to kill them chara says to his face that they really don’t like him.
Need some hubbub about them having to kill asgore to get out. Theyll be like yeah I know that (somehow)... oh but I need a plan… how will i come up with a plan..
Flowey finally appears to chara again just before they get to new home and tries to talk them out of leaving. Disparaging the surface and telling them they could live happily down here. Chara says no, it’s too hard because people are constantly hunting them down and being the last soul, no ones going to stop that. He says that he’s sorry for the way he was before
Chara smiles back, and then looks away: What you said before… about.. My inevitable death on the surface…
F: that was… don’t worry about that.
C: are you afraid of it?
F: well- yeah, it’s a dangerous place. Everyone knows that.
C: I’ve died a lot more times down here than I ever did up there.
A beat
C: you go back and forth a lot between talking about how I should stay down here because it’s better… but also if I die down here… everyone gets to go free… to the horrible, awful surface.
F: uh,, did I say all that…? I may have contradicted myself a little… I guess… in the end I just wanted an excuse for you to stay around. I really don’t want you to die.
C: so you did see me as a friend after all?
F: well…you reminded me of someone who was my friend. I wish we could have been friends.
C: Do you think… If I reset back to the beginning and did this again, if I said the right things… we could have been?
F: No… You could be as nice to me or as mean to me as you want. No matter how many times you reset, some things never change.
C: ...Did you ever… have to reset because you killed someone?
F: ……….once… and then I never reset ever again. The power to reset… makes you do bad things. It’s wrong. I had to stop because i knew… I’d make someone really upset if I kept messing around.
C: well, in that case… I guess I’ll just have to get the rest of the way out of here without any resets!
Flowey smiles: I dunno, keep one or two under your belt. You’re a pretty big klutz.
C: Thanks for helping me out of here, flowey. Even if you just did it because you were begged.
Can you imagine a more paranoid flowey who is less interested in attacking you and regaining the reset ability, but is pleased af that you have the reset ability because that means you can't die, and instead he spends the entire game trying to convince you that humanity is hopeless. That there is nothing on the surface world returning to. That it's safer, down here.
he's part of the reason why things are so much harder
he's the one that starts the rumors about the dangers of teh surface world
there's a definite sense of paranoia all across the board
When they approach new home, flowey appears one last time and grabs chara by the hand, telling them not to go. They can live in the underground, they’ve made a lot of friends here. Chara says that they have to go, they’ll find a way to get out without killing asgore. Flowey says that he tried to stop them, this is as far as he’ll go. This is goodbye. They bid their farewells and chara goes along, but flowey secretly follows them, much less detectable than ever before. It’s revealed when he’s hiding with the flowers.
Chara walks up to new home, regarding it as a vaguely familiar sight. They walk down the many halls knowing exactly where to go. The monsters speak as they go through the motions. They find a cookbook in the kitchen with a page for snail pie missing. Chara mumbles about already knowing the story and that they should all shut up. They walk more quickly to stay ahead of them. Then one mentions the snail pie and chara stops dead in their tracks. No that’s not how it happened- they stop, and take back off.
They are stopped by sans in the judgement hall, glaring at him.
S: well I had a whole speech to give ya, but you look like you’re in a hurry. You’re a weird kid, but you’re fine. The king’s up ahead.
OTHER alternative: chara realizes something’s wrong and runs back to get everyone, probably threatening to kill asgore to convince them to come quickly. Sans is avoided due to the mob approaching behind them “I heard the word that you’re on your way to kill the king.” c: are you here to stop me? “Nah. But you’d better have a good plan to back yourself up, kid. King’s up ahead”
They run up to asgore, no nonsense. Some time is taken to progress things. As they leave the throne room, flowey watches from the flowers, chara looks back to confirm he’s there.
Asgore draws up the souls, the fight is about to engage, before he can smash “MERCY” chara yells: ASRIEL. Get the souls.
Everything stops. Flowey is behind them, stunned and confused. Chara turns and asks him what he’s waiting for. Hurry up and take the souls before everyone else gets here. Nearly every last monster is coming, if he can become godlike and absorb them, it will be enough strength to break the barrier.
Flowey is confused, how do they know that? Chara tells him he did it before. Doesn’t he remember? Doesn’t he remember them?
Either flowey does it and something happens, or flowey waits too long and chaos erupts which gets them killed, and then chara and flowey have to meet up and workshop.
Final fight:
He probably says some shit about frisk and how he cant lose frisk again, chara must insist that theyre not frisk. When they say their name is chara, he hesitates for only a moment. Finally, when chara’s pinned and about to seriously die…
C: you remember it now too, don’t you? It took me a while, I couldn’t remember a thing until i started hearing your name around. You’re an all powerful god now, you should be able to remember it all better than me
A: shut up.
C: would frisk want us to fight like this?! Would frisk want you to kill your own sibling?!
A: c-.... You’re… you’re really chara?
He lets them go
They reach the conclusion that frisk messed with everything and put them here with no memories so they could do something frisk could never do. Frisk thinks they deserve to live, no matter how much the two may disagree. They have to play along. Asriel is a god and can use his powers to break the barrier and bring EVERYONE back to life so they can live together happily.
go to final fight and everyones already there, things are very confused, flowey takes the souls and things glitch out (screen phases between bosses) and chara realizes this isnt how things are supposed to be, tells asriel theyre sorry for their baggage but he doesnt understand bc he isnt theirs, and then they gotta find frisk somehow
OR... they realize things in the speech and don't go to fight asgore bc theyre finding flowey... they feign fighting asgore and then suddenly tell flowey to take the souls("Asriel! get the souls!" and thats the first time they call him by name)...? i like that a bit better. they start going on about crazy shit that makes roided out flowey kind of lose it at them which leads to them apologizing to their own asriel but then realizing they need to find frisk
but HOW do they find frisk
The end shows chara asriel and frisk hugging eachother, all alive and well. Then the two are “processing…” and remember that oh, theyve done some dark messed up stuff.

Best Grills Under $500 [ Propane Gas, Wood Pellet ]
Tumblr media
Looking for the best affordable grills under $500? The best 3-burner propane gas grill under $300   Char-Broil Performance TRU-Infrared Stainless Steel 3-Burner FAQ Do you want to talk about how tender and juicy true infrared cooking is? It sounds silly maybe... But who wants those anyway?? Stay safe everyone! My name's Mark Gill. This is Mark's on the Grill. Agents of SHIELD S4E03-S4E04 reaction
rest of the reactions
Agents of SHIELD S4E03
-yoyo is so pretty
-I don't think this director was introduced as a likable person cause he's annoying af
-Daisy looks like she's in so much pain omfg I fear for her health
-When is she gonna start to be okay this season???? I miss the competent agent Daisy Johnson from last season. Remember in last season Mack and Daisy were the rock of shield when everybody else was distracted? yeah. that Daisy. Bring her back.
-I feel bad for yoyo for losing her friends for many years
-yeah...I don't feel surprised that the watchdog got their hands on the inhuman index lol
-I know I should be invested in May almost going to die but I don't feel the tension because I feel like they wouldn't actually kill her
-Daisy's arm looks so bruised and I feel so bad for her.
-Why is ghost rider's brother so mean to Daisy..... he only figured out Daisy is Quake because she saved his life
-a bit of gratitude would be nice??? she JUST saved his life???
-But nah he had to throw the whole "you are not good people" thing to her face
-yoyo is right. If Daisy doesn't want to be found then Mack should respect her wishes
-yoyo looks so absolutely gorgeous omfg
-AGAIN. why is shield so far behind on the ghost rider case compared with Daisy's progress? How?
-not surprised that May is alive lol
-I am, however, pretty pissed off that not a single person has been nice to Daisy
-I need somebody to comfort my child. ANYONE
-Depressed and suicidal people don't just "get over it" they need proper care and this is not it
Agents of SHIELD S4E04
-omfg Daisy looked in such a bad shape I'm so glad she finally asked Jemma for help she really needs it
-"I'm the boss" lol Jemma is certainly still very cute
-So this episode's reaction is gonna be one that covers this episode as a whole from here on out.
-because 10 minutes in and I already got more and more and more frustrated with the writing that I didn't bother to write down anything as a reaction.
-I love that Jemma took care of Daisy and helped her. I do. But does she have to be sarcastic and mocking all the time? ugghh. I don't know how to describe this feeling but i'll try
-All through seasons 1 and 2 we, as viewers, without a doubt are mainly following Skye/Daisy's perspective. right?
-now I've gotten used to it. Following Daisy's perspective. I do that naturally now
-And from her perspective, her life sucks so very much. A literal bug/parasite dug a hole in her brain. She was brainwashed to hurt everyone she's ever cared about. She lost Lincoln in a tragic way. She was also going through withdrawal like an addict would.
-I feel like if I, as a viewer, who only see snippets of her life can see that. Jemma, Fitz, all these people from shield could see why she's messed up and depressed and just overall not well
-just maybe a shred of empathy and they'll know not to yell at her
-Even if it's not a family member/friend. I would never yell at anyone who's depressed and suicidal so that they know they are making the wrong decisions. Because chances are: they are the ones feeling the repercussion the keenest.
-Just like how Daisy is the only one who knows how much her broken arms are hurting
-She does not need tough love to tell her she's in a bad shape. She knows that already
-Also can we talk about the fact that this girl in her very messed up state:
made it her personal mission to help inhumans
went far on the watchdog case that she knew the watchdogs have the inhuman index (same page as shield, a massive organization for god's sake, who didn't protect this inhuman information well)
Gave this valuable information to Jemma(who doesn't know this, even though mack/yoyo/coulson/fitz already knew this information from the last episode and Jemma has higher-level clearance than all four of them)
stayed ahead of shield on the ghost rider case
is a sweet friend by offering Jemma a very hard to find, perfect apartment tailored for her
even considered the fact that this apartment is rent-controlled
verbally supported the FitzSimmons relationship
figured out that James was involved in the index being leaked situation before shield (Coulson only got there because James' bracelet was cut off)
Broke every bone in her arms to save Jemma from the watchdogs
-all in all, managed to be an extremely useful agent/asset in the field and a good friend on a personal level
-Only got yelled at in her face by Mack/Fitz/Jemma/Coulson so far
-I mean I know Jemma and Coulson means well. but why do I feel hurt for Daisy.
-just a more patient tone and everything would be so sweet and so heartwarming
-Not these absolutely nonsense lines:
-"We did everything we could for him, but like yourself, it seemed he couldn't get away from us fast enough"
-"suck it up"
-"What is wrong with you?"
-"You've chosen to walk your brooding path. Don't drag him down with you"
-"I know you two like to work alone settling the scores that are personal to you but that's not how we work here at shield" by Coulson out of all people to DAISY? what did Daisy ever do that was "settling the scores" that are personal to her? Have I missed something? I thought she was helping people?
-Can the writers stop
-I would say they did a good job showing Daisy struggling. That bit is better than brushing everything over
-But the writers are basically shaming Daisy for having depression and that's just not ok
-It's just not
-My favorite line of this episode is: "whoever is running the terrible ideas division is crushing it" and I would like to send this to whoever wrote shield so incompetent this season and whoever wrote all of the terrible lines mentioned above.
(It's possible that I got more frustrated than I should be but here we are

Invisible String (4/?)
Pairing:  Bucky Barnes x Female reader (Modern AU)
Description: James Buchanan Barnes, the owner of the most expensive-looking club in town and your new apartment. He was a dick and you hated him. What could possibly go wrong when you, the new girl in town, start bartending at his club to pursue your dreams?
Word Count: 2.6k words
Warning: 18+ (discussion of assault, nervous breakdown, anxiety attack, just don’t read this whole series if you are a kid)
Tumblr media
You woke up to a night of dreamless sleep like you always did, but then the events of the previous night hit you. You wished it was a dream, but one look in the mirror and a bruise running along your cheek was enough to confirm. Not only that, but you remembered asking your boss to stay over, but you didn't expect him to. The blanket on your living room’s couch and the bowl of fruits and a glass of juice situated out for you on the kitchen counter proved that he did stay.
And then the reality sunk in, you have a decision to make. You can either go to the cops or let that guy get away. The latter sounded not so great, but you knew going to the cops isn't going to be great either. You've seen enough detective shows to know that. You've had enough, and you just wanted to forget it.
What did Mr. Barnes mean when he said you were going to talk about this? Are you supposed to visit him before work? Is he going to come to your place?
You decided to work on your book but ended up not being able to concentrate, so you started watching a show and fell asleep while watching it. Maybe some Chinese take-out could make you feel better. It didn't. Nothing made you feel better. You wished you had some friends in this new town because you didn't want to burden your work friends.
After a horrible day of trying to cope, when you finally made your way to the club, you noticed the security was increased. Usually, security guards weren't present inside the club, but today it was different. Everyone was so vigilant and you felt a little safer. If you didn't know any better, you'd think Mr. Barnes did it for you, but again he would have done the same thing for any other employee.
"Boss wants to see you," Pietro told you. You were about to head for Clint's office when the blond twin spoke again and pointed his finger towards the stairs." The boss."
Okay, well maybe playing naïve couldn't avoid this meeting, so you slowly walked upstairs. How bad could this go, it's not like he saw you in your most vulnerable state? Oh, wait, he did.
You knocked on his office door, wanting to rip the band-aid and get over with it.
"Hey," you said, faking a smile. "Thanks for getting me home last night and for breakfast today. I didn't even know I had fruits and juice at home because let's be honest, I'm a toast and coffee kinda gal."
Mr. Barnes didn't say anything, he just looked at you as if you were a confusing puzzle that he couldn't solve. He raised a hand towards the seat in front of him and you took it, nervously fiddling with your fingers under the table.
“You do that a lot, you know?” he asked, it wasn't a question, it was merely an observation.
“What?”
“Deflecting a serious issue by using a joke.” Mr. Barnes observed as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“What are you? My therapist?”
He arched an eyebrow, indicating that you were literally doing the thing he pointed out.
"Yeah, well, it's called having a healthy coping mechanism. You should try getting one, brooding is only gonna help you this far."
"It's not healthy if you're not dealing with it," Mr. Barnes pointed out.
You scoffed in incredulity and you felt very, very attacked.
What is it? Attacking y/n day?, you thought.
"Anyway, I think I want to press charges," You changed the subject to a more serious conversation to avoid him calling you out on your bullshit.
"Okay, I understand.”
“You do?” You asked, bewilderment clearly written all over your face. “I mean, letting an employee go to the cops is not gonna be great for your club's reputation and yours too. And, you know, considering the shady business, you do-”
"What exactly do you think we do?" He asked.
And that's when it hit you, you didn't know what he did or mob bosses do in general. All your knowledge about it came from movies and Wattpad, both of them are not a great place to gain knowledge.
“What exactly do you do?” you pondered.
He obviously wasn't expecting you to directly ask him, nobody has directly asked him or even made it known that they are aware of his work. It was kind of like a silent pact that everybody signed for, everybody except you, apparently.
“Um, you know, I've been working for almost 2 weeks here now, and I haven't seen any drugs around here, so it's obviously not drugs. You don't look like the sex trafficking types-”
"Jesus, woman!" He exclaimed, offended by your assumptions.
"Then just tell me what you do."
You expected him to tell you something, but he just kept looking at you with a face void of emotions.
"Fine, don't tell me," you mumbled, raising your hands dramatically in defeat.
“So you don't mind me ruining your reputation by going to the cops?”
“I told you I don't care. Your safety is my utmost priority,” your face might have given away the surprise you felt because he quickly backpedaled. ”I mean, the safety of my employees.”
“The safety of my employees is my utmost priority,” he told you, providing an extra emphasis on the word employees. “Anyway, one of my people would take you to the police station near-"
You cut him off immediately.
"No, you can't tell anyone else. I don't want everyone hopping on the pity train. I'm already ashamed that you know about it," you pleaded but your voice was firm, telling him that this was not up for a discussion.
At this, his eyes and features softened. Bucky didn't want you to feel guilty or ashamed for somebody else's actions, but clearly, you did.
"Okay, then I can take you. You just had to explain to the officer last night’s events, and they'll ask you to recognize Rumlow and then we can-"
Mr. Barnes’s voice faded into the background when it finally hit you.
"You know what, I changed my mind. It's too much. I don't want to press charges anymore. I didn't think this through," you backtracked. You did think this through, but now all the factors were adding up in your brain. You'd have to explain the details to a cop who is probably going to be another man and a stranger, and then they'd ask you to identify the guy. You didn't think you had it in you to face him. At least not now.
He interpreted your thought process and promptly changed the topic. "Okay, we can work with whatever you want, and at least let Peter escort you home after work."
"What? No!” You quickly declined.
“It's for your own safety,” Bucky tried to reason. He wasn't letting you get off this easily.
“I'm a strong, independent woman and I'm not scared of anything.”
That was a lie. You were scared of many things like heights, dark, spiders, confrontation and the list goes on and on.
You remembered all the lectures your mom gave you telling you that women should be scared because men are monsters, and you'd lose your honor if you are reckless and some other patriarchal crap that you didn't pay attention to. But you weren't scared, you were just always careful. You'd always put the keys between your knuckles when you went home alone. In your previous job, you used to laugh it off whenever your coworkers made a sexist joke. You'd ignore the subtle shoulder touch that your previous boss did. You told yourself that this is what it takes to make it. If you were to run away every time someone eyed you in a wrong way, then you'd spend your whole life running.
Women usually shrug this behavior off as it is what is, but the truth is it shouldn't be like this.
“Please, I insist.”
“I'm very capable of taking care of myself. Just because one bad incident happened doesn't mean I'll fucking break!” You stated, your voice louder than your regular voice to get across your point.
That was also a lie. You were walking on a thin line and you were ignoring your emotions. You were one outburst away from a breakdown, and you just couldn't bring yourself to feel anything.
Mr. Barnes tried to call your name, but you were already bolting out of his office.
You needed a drink. No, fuck that. You needed multiple drinks. It wasn't exactly wise to get drunk during work, but it couldn't get any shittier than this, right?, you thought.
Right?
Wrong. It could get way shittier than this. Now it was almost midnight, you were kind of tipsy, and you could see two Mr. Stark, your regular customer, in front of you.
Did he have a twin? Is he and his twin brother one of those identical twins that dress up the same? Because that's what it looked like.
“Earth to y/n," Mr. Stark said, or was it his twin? It was getting hard to keep track anymore.
 And that's when you noticed.
“Holy, Shit. You're triplets, Mr. Stark," you announced.
"Okay, kid, close my tab.”
“Hey, y/n. Are you okay?” Peter asked, noticing the concerned look Mr. Stark gave him before leaving.
“Yes, I'm fine. Absolutely fine.”
***
Turns out you were not fine. You've been pretty much hammered for the past week, and you could barely get a sentence out without giggling or slurring. Your colleagues took notice of your state and whenever someone pointed it out, you'd just shrug it off as a bad day or a bad week. There was no concept of time in your drunk state.
You couldn't concentrate on your book, you could barely look at someone without squinting, and you've been eating takeout and leftovers for the past few days.
James would have fired if someone working under him was this irresponsible, but he knew your reasons. He knew you clearly weren't coping with the trauma well. Your work ethics were shoved down the trash that even Clint asked why you weren't fired yet.
Bucky didn't want to talk to you, he thought that maybe giving you some space would do you good, but clearly it wasn't working. Usually, the mob boss didn't interfere in the affairs of his employees, it was Clint's job, but when you smashed a bottle on the head of a customer, he had to interject.
“I TOLD THIS FUCKER NO!” you yelled, Peter’s hand around your middle from behind. Another empty beer bottle was in your hand, ready to be smashed across the face of the drunk dude in front of you.
Pietro and Wanda were enjoying the show. Peter, being the peace lover he is, held you back when you smashed a bottle across a drunk customer's face. Even though Peter was younger than you, he was stronger, and he was not only holding you back but also himself. He didn't want to cause a scene and that is why he was mulling comforting words in your ear like, he's not worth it, you're gonna kill this guy.
Damn right I am, you thought.
It was ironic because everyone in that club had killed someone except you.
When Bucky walked into the room, the drunk guy turned towards him and pointed at you. ”You are hiring crazy bitches now? Just called her baby girl and she went psycho!!!”
Bucky didn't understand what was happening. He told the security guards to take that man outside his club and he walked towards you. He firmly yet gently took a hold of your left arm, signaling Peter to let go of you. Without a word, he started walking in the direction of his office, dragging you along with him.
Once near his office, he lightly yanked your hand and shoved you inside, making you stand in front of him.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" he inquired, having had enough of your incompetence.
You were seething with rage. "Wrong with me? I told him no, but he didn't listen."
Bucky stepped forward, his anger dissipating into sympathy. " I know, he mumbled, "and I'm so-"
"No, you don't know!" you yelled, body trembling and tears welling up in your eyes. "I told him no multiple times, I even tried to push him off me, but he just kept coming back."
Bucky's eyes furrowed in confusion. He didn't understand your words, the drunk customer didn't touch you. And that's when he realized, you weren't talking about the drunk customer. He cognized that the drunk guy purely triggered something that you've been suppressing for days now. Bucky was aware that you needed to get it out of your system to cope healthily.
“I told him no, you know? But he just wouldn't listen,” you stated, trying to convince yourself that you didn't lead him on. ”And he was so…. so strong and… and then he hit me and everything just went blur, I couldn't see but... but I could still feel him with me.”
Not realizing that you were not in that place anymore, you wrapped your hand around yourself to seek some sort of protection and comfort, bottom lip quivering, the welled up traitorous tears were streaming down your face and all you could think about was that night.
“I… I can't get his touch out,” you stammered. ” I shower, multiple times a day, but I still can't get his touch out.”
With that, you broke down completely and shattered on the floor, sobbing ferociously. Your knees ached because of the position you were situated in, but the emotional pain was enough to overshadow the physical one.
For once in his lifetime, Bucky did not know what to do. Cautiously, he made his way towards you and knelt down in front of you. He did not know what to say or do to make you feel better.
You launched your body towards him, snaking your arms around his shoulder to settle on his neck as if he was the only thing grounding you. You lurched onto him like he was your anchor, and maybe he was. It took a minute for Bucky to register your actions, and when he did, he wrapped his arms around your middle and closed the minuscule distance separating you.
He surprised himself with the way one of his hands automatically reached for your hair and whispered words of comfort in your ear. He caught you as you crumpled physically and emotionally.
”You're going to be okay, doll,” he whispered and kissed your temple with sincerity. ”I will make sure of that.”
The second part was barely audible, it wasn't meant for you, it was a promise he made to himself.
Bucky held you tightly yet gently while you sobbed on his shoulder.
He didn't know how long he held you, it felt like an eternity to him with the way he could feel the guilt and rage inside him. When you passed out in his arms, he gently placed you on one of the comfortable couches in his office and draped a blanket around you that he had for when he would work late at night.
An office chair might not be the most ideal place to spend the night in, but it didn't matter to Bucky. All that mattered was you.

Feathers Reacts: Motorcity - Episode 13 (kind of) - Reunion (definitely)
Hey howdy hello! I'm swapping onto the new viewing order as mentioned in my last post! So this episode is Reunion, labeled Episode 15 in the old viewing order.
Also, I figured out that it's stupid easy to take screenshots using VLC media player (shift + S) and consequently I have a bunch of silly photos to illustrate my ramblings, which brings me great joy.
Episode 13 (15) Thoughts:
Lemme start off by saying that I love sharp-toothed propaganda!Mike. Take your sharp-angled cartoon boy and give him even more angles. A+
Tumblr media
Kane is pretty angry at being . . . kidnapped? Dictatornapped? Anyway, his anger seems genuine, but it cannot possibly be this simple. Is he acting??
Oh I guess not, but now we're gonna see more of Deluxe!
Julie, to Mike: In the meantime, be careful up there! Mike: Aren't I always? Everybody else: *VIGOROUS DENIAL*
Tumblr media
And he's so surprised by their response, look at that face! XD
Dutch, to ROTH: Stay out of trouble! ROTH: *Happy whirr* *Salute!* I love this little robot so much. (●´□`)♡
Tumblr media
I wanted to take a screenshot of Mike with his hand covering Chuck's mouth but I caught a really goofy moment where Mike is in the middle of making a "th" sound and his tongue is sticking out. 🤣
Tumblr media
Deluxe is really not very pedestrian friendly; somebody needs to tell Kane about designing livable urban environments.
Looks like Julie isn't the only one with strained family relations! Oh boy, Dutch!
These wanted posters sure are something! Sharp teeth for Mike and Dutch, but what, no fangs for Chuckles?
Tumblr media
Chuck: *having a full-on panic attack, gasping for breath* Claire: Is he okay? Mike, oblivious: Yeah, he does this sometimes. :) Uhhhhhh Mike??? Did Chuck tell you that this was just something that happens sometimes and not to worry about it???
Tumblr media
Hmmm the Gordy family politics are super interesting. The parents don't support Kane, but they "believe in Deluxe." What does that mean?? It seems like they believe that in the future the people of Deluxe will overthrow Kane. But, uh, are they working towards that in any way? They apparently didn't have contact with Dutch for over a year - which, you know, maybe they couldn't figure out how to get in touch, that's totally plausible.
Claire, you half-hearted revolutionary, how I love you!
The elevator music while they're sitting in Claire's pod is killing me XD
Mike: Your pod won't get a scratch, alright, I'll treat it like it was Mutt! Claire: Wait, doesn't Mutt get wrecked all the time?? Mike: . . . well, yeah . . . but we always fix her up better than before!
Tooley has Kane dolls?? Oh my god
Tumblr media
Dutch talking to Dar - oh man - I think the experience of losing a family member off the conspiracy deep end is something that a lot of people find relatable, possibly even moreso now than when this show came out.
Chuck, I really don't think Claire is interested. Chill, please. Don't make her uncomfortable.
Aaaaaaand Dar is playing Rolfe to the Burners' Von Trapps.
Well, if the whole Deluxe grid is down due to power surges, is it too much to hope that all of the bots are down as well?
Mike is a much more successful version of Captain Von Trapp in convincing Dar to abandon his alliance to the military regime.
Aaaaand now Mike is flying a cube hooked up to Mutt. This can only end in EXTREME SPORTS.
Mike just referred to Motorcity by its initials, M.C. I don't think I've heard anyone else do that in the show so far - maybe I missed it!
YEAH JULIE!!! The countdown here actually created a lot of tension, the whole sequence was fantastically well done!
Holy shit, Dutch had to beat up Dar in order to give him a cover story. That's . . . kind of dark if you think about it too hard, actually. Ain't that just the way with most children's cartoons, though?
Tumblr media
Texas, to Mike and Dutch: If you two chicks are done holding hands and whatnot, howbout you help me with the new and improved Stronghorn cannon? Texas, be a dear and unlearn some stuff. Cripes.
Can we appreciate how fantastically evil Kane looks in Dar's posters?
Tumblr media
And now we get much better décor. :)

Concluding Thoughts:
I'm glad we got some more insight into Dutch and his backstory! The whole Gordy family and their political views are kind of fascinating. I don't necessarily think we were meant to dive too deeply into the implications of their beliefs, but I'm here ten years late with popcorn and living in a political climate that has been dramatically altered by events within the past decade, so let's have fun with it!
Unlike Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Gordy actively denounce Kane (at least, to Dutch) and do perceive the laws of Deluxe to be infringing on the freedoms of its people. However, from what we can see, they've arguably done less to support the resistance.
Now this is partially because Dutch deliberately fell out of contact with them, whereas Julie sees Claire every day. Thus, Claire has more opportunities to passively help the Burners than Dutch's parents. Also, it's not like political opposition to Kane is easy - it would risk their lives, and the life of their youngest son.
The thing that really interests me, though, is the phrase Mr. Gordy used: "I believe in Deluxe." I interpret that as a belief in the people of Deluxe, a belief that they will rise up and overthrow Kane. Leaving aside the question of how or when, it's an interesting thing to say when only part of this show is focused on the internal politics of Deluxe - a lot of it is focused on Deluxe's outwards aggression towards Motorcity. And yet ultimately they're sort of the same city? There are some real life analogies I think that could be drawn here, but I'm gonna leave that for some other time and some other format than my stream-of-consciousness reflections.
