Everything about The Owl House finale was spectacular and I loved it so much, but one smaller thing I enjoyed was that they continued in the She-Ra tradition of affirming all their gay couples and having them kiss in the finale while having their male-female relationship (though obvs Huntlow is queer too) be left technically ambiguous

Dammit, Owl House! I can't listen even one second of the Wicked-Sountrack without imagening the characters during the singing parts anymore!

Also, Defying Gravity matches Eda and Lilith so well, word for word, it's almost like the song was written for the two Clawthorne sisters themselves, especially the realization love's a thing that should come without a price to pay for it, namely giving up your freedom and independence.

I only just realized this on another rewatch but... while I initially noticed Amity & Willow rushed out the door to get Luz & King, I'm seeing now that Gus & Hunter did too.

All four of them came back into the demon realm from the safety of escaping The Collector to get Luz & King. All of them. To try and save those two.
