Details for vampire Dave pretty please 🙏 🙏

Yeeees, okay. So! Fair warning, this will be rambling as all hell. These are all just potential idea, I don't know how much will actually be included in the fic. (I am notorious for writing whole pages of details and then changing everything by the end.)

It will be based off of the movie Day Shift, but you won't need to know the movie to understand the fic. (Quick plot rundown is the main character needs to make 10K to keep his daughter and ex wife living close to him, so he begins killing vampires and selling their teeth for cash.)

It will likely be hetstaine focused, so vampire hunter James x vampire Dave. (Bonus points for familiar Lars who lures in people for Dave to eat.)

The loose plotline I have right now is James is a vampire hunter (think early 80s baby James) and he knows Lars is a familiar, so he's tracking him. He meets Lars at a bar and lets him take him back home. Of course, Lars is just trying to feed him to Dave. James and Dave end up fighting before coming to a truce of sorts.

Some random ideas I have for this fic as well.

Vamp!Dave doesn't have retractable teeth. They're out all the time. (This is based off the fact I don't understand why vampire teeth would retract. They're predators. Think about a shark, a cat, a wolf, etc. They have fangs 24/7)

I also would want the teeth to go all the way across instead of just the canines being fangs. So like this

Maybe James has seen Dave around at metal/rock shows before and has wanted to talk to him, but he never got up the nerve to. (So, imagine his surprise when he comes face to face with him again.)

Potentially some other people will be added.

I'm toying with the idea of "feral" vampires for the fic.

Basically vampires are a pack animal of sorts in the fic, they need to be in a group. If they're isolated, they get dangerous and unpredictable. Maybe a longer fic with James slowly integrating Dave with other vampires. (I'd love vampire Ron, Jason, David, and/or Gar. I think it'd be fun to explore him warming up to others like him.)

Maybe Dave being alone for a long time or perhaps him being a newly turned vampire that got separated from the person who turned him. (Maybe Alice?)

Lots of anger and resentment from Dave because I live for angst with him.

Imagine dragons is pretty weird, I love it but I don't understand why a lot of times I have to listen to the songs a few times and then I love them haha

*i have not read any breed lore except something about Gaurdians are super protective of treasure and the sizes are hilariously rediculous so this does not include that

*edit, I have learned through osmosis and Tomo that spirals tie themselves in knots, I believe it was snappers that don’t sleep and Imps shed and eat thier antlers. I am ignoring the last one.

Starting with Spirals of course with the #1 vote and one if my early favorites as I had my lair almost exclusively of the noodles at one point. I just really like how much motion is in both poses. I don’t have a favorite of one pose over the other woth spirals, and I absolutly love how big the eyes are on adults so it doesn’t seem pointless to focus on special eyes fir them. I’m hoping to dark scullera and innocent vial some breeding protect babies once I get what I want lol. All that said since I collected them all sooo early on before ever concofering lore, most of them don’t have any or have vague plans at best. Hopefully I’ll think of something since I love these long dragos. Picking only three was hard, shown below are CreamSoda a self taught brewmaster, Duke my G1 strawberry Pastery Baker abd MineralCravings my very first GoatEye dragon and the completion on an asthetic breeding project lol

Up next are my Nocturne! The proportions of these dragons are, kind of wierd? Not bad but not the kind I like myself. I’m not going to breed change to it but if something fits it I’ll leave it be. I have a few that I like the way they are. Do see them below as Heatwing my first ever dragon I bought, Astrology a gathering dragon, and CiderScale who runs the bar!

Last for this post are the Ridgeback and oooohohoho do I have things to say about them. Firstly, YES. Sharkdragon hehehoho yeeee! I love how silly they look just like his dumb goblin sharks are and omg I want to do a serious review but I just look at them and smile as my brain shuts off. It’s not liking or loving them like I do other dragons it’s just a hehehe SHARK the entire time. Anyways look at my faves below! Queen Sierra of course, Beauty is a shapeshifter because I couldn’t settle on any single set of genes, and Edwin is well my boyfriend as a dragon because like Ridgebacks I look at him and just smile like an idiot. ((If you see this I love you boo!))

Actually I was wondering about your loz magical girl au since I haven’t seen loz content for a long time until now and I really loved your drawing of the au. If you don’t mind explaining it to me I’d love to hear/see more.

So!! The basic premise is that certain princesses from various loz games live in the modern world, and at the age of 18 they develop the power to transform into a magical girl, with witchy powers relating to a certain element.

Zelda is the princess of light, Midna is the princess of shadow, Mipha is the princess of water, ect ect.

And they rule over their chosen element and keep in in balance, neither letting it becoming too powerful or too weak. The world is full of elemental beasts that only princesses and their chosen champions can see, and if one element starts becoming too powerful, the beasts will become large and violent. So the princesses each have a magic staff that they can use to both control their element and siphon elemental energy from and to their beasts.

Additionally, each princess gets a chosen champion to help protect them from harm. The champion can also transform, though they take on a more animalistic appearance, and develop superhuman abilities based on their animal. For example, Link takes on a more wolf-like appearance, and becomes both more perceptive and more resilient.

The story begins a few days prior to Zelda’s 18th birthday. She’s the class president at the high school (to no one’s surprise), and she’s excited to receive her powers. Link, her childhood friend, was born with the ability to see the elemental beasts, so Zelda has believed from a young age that he’s special. However, Zelda’s champion has already been chosen for her -- every princess in her family line has been served by a member of the Sheikah family, and thus Impa (the one from Skyward Sword) is meant to become Zelda’s champion.

Then Midna, the princess of twilight, is betrayed by her chosen knight, Zant, and comes to Zelda for help. Link volunteers to become her new knight and help her restore balance to the elements.

So far I have the following princesses and champions:

Zelda, princess of light, and Impa, who develops cat-like dexterity

Midna, princess of shadow, and Link, who develops wolf-like resilience

Mipha, princess of water, and Sidon, who develops shark-like strength

Riju, princess of lightning, and Revali, who develops bird flight and sight

And then there’s Ganondorf, the prince of dark, who has done the unthinkable. He has two champions, first Ghirahim, and then Zant, who betrayed Midna. He’s been attacking other people’s elemental beasts to make his own stronger, upsetting the balance.

I also want to add fire and wood as elements, but I am having a hard time coming up with princes/princesses and champions for them. I’m thinking of having Agatha (from twilight princess) as an insectoid champion, though, to serve the prince/princess of wood

The key ships would be Impa/Zelda and Link/Midna, because those are my top loz otps

The starting setting would be high school, near the end of the semester. Some of the princes/princesses and champions would have already graduated, but most of them are in their senior year... because high school tropes are fun.

Zelda is a typical straight-A student, beloved by all. Impa is a quiet loner who hangs around Zelda like a shadow. Link is on the baseball team, but he’s also a quiet guy, and he uses sign language to communicate. Midna is a punk, wearing all black and lots of leather, and she has lots of piercings, too. Her eyeliner game is always on point. Sidon and Revali are also jock-types, and are also on the baseball team. They both hang out with Link, even though Revali calls Link his rival, and refuses to admit that they’re friends.

Ghiraham and Zant are also punks, though Ghirahim is also a former theater kid. They used to hang out with Midna, but recently they’ve begun idolizing Ganondorf, a high school graduate taking a gap year, who is causing more trouble than Midna’s comfortable with.

And Mipha’s now a college student, and she’s a short, shy bookworm with big owl-eye glasses that transform into more stylish glasses when she’s in princess mode.

My hybrid Keith design? He's got the body structure of a tiger shark yet the markings and mixed temperament of a firefish (mother being a mershark with tiger shark features while father full firefish inspired merman) So he's not a crazed eating machine like tiger sharks are but is secluded (he's an omnivore) I have yet to develop it but yeeee I tried being original ooff
