Say "Apple"!
Yes, Mariella teaches C English. Not that C wasn't interested in English at all, but the little woman is much more interesting))

I heard someone talking. They sounded distorted to a point I could understand them. They were talking to another distorted voice. Both sounded similar but one sounded like someone.
The two people were watching something. There was a third voice coming from somewhere. This voice sounded normal. There was this ding and laughing. One of the voices from before said something about “keeping up the grind.”
These voices then left for about 32 minutes. I guess whoever these voices are went to another place. I heard laughing from one saying “Reo Stellam you are crazy.” I don’t know who this Reo Stellam is but they sound interesting.

How is the Narrator's sense of touch with those glove hands? Like when he touches something does he feel it as if touching it with gloves on? What about the wooden bits?
(I'm not saying Stanley should test it at some point, but I am implying it :p)
It'd feel the same as if you were touching something with cheap, fabric prop gloves on. If he were to remove them he could 'feel' things better but since it's such a hassle he doesn't bother.
The Narrator's hands are like a doll's, there's no body heat or extra warmth besides what the same material would be at room temperature.

Do you have any particular reason why you named your narrator Thierry? :]
simple! he picked that one himself!
( OH also- for those unaware, i'm offically stating it now; my narrator's nickname is ThierryGore, so if you hear or HAVE heard those being thrown around in place of simply " narrator, " you know - if you haven't figured by now! )
BUT IT'S APART OF THIS MASSIVE INSIDE JOKE, IN ACTUALITY;
prior to Thierry, my narrator used to be known ( or " known " to my little friend community ) as Gore; reason being--- he's a bit of a bloodthirsty freak & I didn't have an alternative name for him for the longest time;
NOW - my friends & I roleplay, so it became a running gag that, even during in-character interactions, he was consistently referred to as Gore & he HATED it. SO MUCH. so much- that eventually, failing to get anyone to just call him by his namesake instead, he'd ( try to ) cement himself as Thierry. it's... KIND of working in his favor,
& then the salad spinner incident happened...
but that's just the in-character explanation i have for it;
THE PLAIN REALITY BEING - I have a small list of names I've been compiling in the scenario or AU where he has an actual, full name ( because as it stands, he doesn't HAVE a name beyond just. The Narrator ), & Thierry was on the list. I picked it out for the bit & it's just stuck since!
funnily enough; " thierry " is a french name that means " ruler of the people " & implies Power. i did not know this before i chose it,

✦ The Narrator's Reaction To You Calling Him A Pet Name From Your Native Language
✦Pairing/s: The Narrator x Gn! Reader
A/N: Here ye! Here ye! I hereby officially announce that i now write for TSP! ╰(▔∀▔)╯
Word Count: 232
Content Warning/s: None
Content/s: Fluff — Platonic/Romantic — Headcanons — The use of [Name] in place of Y/n — Narrator being a tsundere
Fandom: The Stanley Parable
What i will write + Introduction
✦THE NARRATOR is initially caught off guard when the you suddenly call him that. He's not sure how to react, but his immediate instinct is to assume that it's something derogatory or insulting.
And so, He asks you what you referred to him as. He's genuinely curious about the potential meaning behind the word.
When you explain that it's actually a term of endearment in your language, Narrator tries to maintain his composure and act unaffected. He puts on a stern facade, insisting that he doesn't like being called such names.
However, despite his best efforts to hide it, you can easily tell that the Narrator is flustered. You notice a nervous fidget in his voice. It's clear that he's actually quite taken aback by the pet name, but he's trying to play it cool.
When you ask him about it, The Narrator goes into overdrive, trying to deflect from his feelings. He starts rambling on about the next set of instructions or describing the scenery in the game, desperately trying to change the subject and ignore your "attempted distraction" towards him.
If you're lucky enough. He'd admit to you that he actually likes the pet name, but he's still a bit embarrassed about it, trying to pass it off as no big deal.
"I..I guess I don't really mind such names. But it's not something I'm used to, [Name.]"
