Tennis Question:
We all know that in tennis some points can be more important than others and, some of them, can make the balance of a match shift. I have heard so many times things like "if only he hadn't miss that volley", "if only that forehand had touched the line"... that it got me thinking.
So, my question is:
You have the power to change just three points in all of tennis history, which ones do you choose?

not me casually leafing through some screencaps and randomly realizing that the bartender in catfa also happens to be pre-serum steve's body double, thus making this shot:
the perfect rendition of what steve's before/after pics would have looked like side by side (and steve's leaning over a little, so he's actually slightly taller than that)
and it truly sinking in how fucking nuts it must have been for bucky to see THAT when steve found him lying on that table

Oh god, please don't get me started on how passive and surface level Blitz' """representation""" of drag/[genderswapping akin to what it feels like] alongside Moxxie are just used for eye candy/gags and NOT actual reasoning for the characters to genuinely try to show some gender expressionism!
What do I mean by this? Due to Brandon Rodgers' ever present role in the show and projecting his past drag type stereotypes onto Blitz just like previous characters, without any thought and keeping it at a basis of a joke. Hence, the eye candy passive 'progressive' lack of genuine queerness is really hard to take seriously when both seasons of Helluva are like this.
Alongside Moxxie, the both of them are used as gags and jokes around/about the two cis[?] demon men reduced to visual jokes and walking punchlines rather then actually letting the characters be characters. Moxxie does not contain good or better drag considering most instances are for the plot rather then the character wanting to be drag or explore outside of their assigned genders.
Before you try to bring up:
"Oh but Moxxie dressed up four different times surely that mea-"
He was the butt of the joke in all instances. Even the first time they performed drag was for a joke of a 'human disguise' that was quickly dropped post Unhappy Campers, examples being--
He was forced into drag as a disguise twice [thrice?],
Forced into a wedding dress AGAINST HIS WILL MIND YOU
*Hallucination not actually the real moxxie a projection of Blitz' harboring feelings projecting moxxie to be drag- vs how he actually performs """drag"""
Spot the differences! No offense to bugs bunny of course at least he has substance and purpose to his drags for LOONEY purposes! He's saying the joke to always move the cartoon plot forward at least!
Blitz has only openly dressed in drag once and the fans applauded viv like it was a big deal. [Even though I personally believe Brandon is homophobic accidentally :/]
Even in merchandising moxxie seems uncomfortable to even perform outside of his gender role....???
I get the anxiousness is the appeal of the character but really put it into perspective why the valentines merch is like this !!!!!
I AM CRITICIZING A SHOW THAT I USED TO THINK WAS QUEER POSITIVE. I AM A QUEER YES.

fuck the concept that one partner has to be a bottom and one partner has to be a top! and while im at it, fuck the idea that in order for a pairing to work you need to twinkify/feminize one of of the characters! that just isnt how gay relationships work 95% of the time! most real gay couples are verse, and most gay couples dont follow the stereotype that one person has to be fem and the other has to be masc! stop trying to apply heteronormative relationship dynamics to queer couples!

Quick point to re: is Croc openly trans or not
So Ivankov's ability to change someone's biological sex is kind of a "myth" in the OP world, right? The way Bon-chan talked about Ivankov was with an aura of legend, how they had heard all these incredible things about Ivankov but couldn't even be entirely sure the person truly even existed until they got to meet face-to-face, because the stories told about Ivankov were just so incredible
Of course, between Iva-chan's imprisonment 6-5 years ago and the actual difficulty people would have genuinely finding them to begin with (being a Rev and travelling around the world sometimes and othertimes just hanging around in the Calm Belt on Momoiro Island), the word about their deeds would turn into Stuff of Legend as few would be able to actually verify it, see it for themselves and tell others all about it, but those stories had to start somewhere, right?
And we do have an interesting note here, as this prince mentioned his mother visiting Kamabakka Queendom 15 years ago (pre-timeskip)
Now one could think that hey, maybe this is where The Legends about Ivankov's miraculous abilities began, but think really about it for a moment; Why would some ruler of a kingdom go out of their way to travel to Kamabakka Queendom, ruled by a member for the Revolutionary Army (=potentially dangerous for a monarch), if they hadn't heard about Ivankov's ability from somewhere else first?
And that's where the timeline mention gets interesting. Because guess who was born just two years before this prince's mother made her brave journey to see Iva-chan?
I'm just saying, if Crocodile went missing for like 4-9 months and then came back fully transitioned out of nowhere, and Morgans made a huge god damn deal about it on the news, letting the whole world know about the Warlord magically having become a man, yeah, that would start some rumors about who what where and how this even happened.
And needless to say, this could easily send a lot of people out to the seas to try to find the Miracle Worker who transed Crocodile's gender, including some monarchs who have the resources to both verify the legends but also actually make the journey to find Ivankov
(Also, if the inciting incident that started the legends about Ivankov happened due to Crocodile like 17-19 years ago, that would add to that aura of myth Ivankov has around them, as it would've been a long ass time ago when the first rumors about Emporio Ivankov would've gotten out there)

Headcanon that isn’t particularly mine nor particularly a headcanon really:
Most of the characters having a crush on Captain America at some point, but when they get to know Steve Rogers…
They have a bigger and more real crush on him.
Because he is actually funny? And not only nice but good and not the embodiment of “virtue”? He curses and gets angry, is sassy and a lil shit.
A great artist too, like damn.
He isn’t what they thought Captain America was supposed to be, because that persona doesn’t really exist, he’s just a really good guy with a lot of issues too, like any other normal person, but at the same time really caring and understanding guy who is loyal to a fault.
(He isn’t the judgmental man from the 40’s they thought he was. He isn’t only nice because thats what he is supposed to be. He isn’t just propaganda personified).
Most of them would love to have known Steve when he was a tiny ball of anger who punched bullies, even when he was the only one losing every single time.
He’s just really charming and they don’t understand how he’s still fighting and wanting to make the world a better place when he already lost everything, more than once.
And that makes them want to better themselves too.
Of course Steve doesn’t see this and doesn’t understand why everyone wants to talk to him or wants to listen to him outside of missions. He’s just a guy from the forties that’s is too overwhelmed to process everything all at once.

honestly it bugs me a little how 99% of the comments on the these are the days of our lives music video, one of my personal favorite queen mvs for pure aesthetics and mood, are people calling it "heartbreaking" and hand-wringing about how SICK and PALE and CLOSE TO DEATH freddie mercury looks. like. wooow the dying man looks like he's dying? really? well done, nancy drew! have a gold star! yes aids is an awful fucking disease and yes hiv positive people shouldn't be reduced to washed-out portraits of the words "inspirational" and "strong" by the media and they should have their pain acknowledged but guys. freddie, by all accounts, very much Did Not Want To Dwell On It. he told his friends he had aids and then immediately was like but i don't want to talk about it. i just want to spend the rest of my time making as much music as i can. and his bandmates accepted that and supported him! he wanted to spend the time he had doing what he loved with people he loved and who loved him and he did. he had, by all accounts, a great last year. that one person who took the days of our lives bts color footage and edited Sad Piano Music TM over the entire thing and intercut interviews with the rest of the band also with Sad Piano Music TM and made it so we could barely hear freddie even say anything... it makes my blood boil like he's literally just. like it's literally just footage of him walking and discussing a take with the director and standing waiting for the take to start like. normal video filming stuff. and all anyone can see is a tragedy because he's walking stiffly or whatever
