I have this very silly, very self indulgent au that I made on a whim in magma; basically Bruce got split to two, one being his personafication of Batman (cryptic, almost mystical like, creature of the night, Gotham protector) and his child self (curious, playful, bright, innocent) pre the tragedy that killed his parents

Perhaps it's the all-nighter talking but I really just find the fact that Gerson was unaffected by the Shadow crystal SO endearing.. it literally couldn't be any other way. Undyne was RIGHT, he IS the toughest monster in the underground. that old man can handle any crisis with confidence and whimsy. OF COURSE he's made mistakes and he regrets the ways he treated his son. of COURSE he wants to spend the little time he has trying to fix them.. while ALSO passing on the legacy Alvin so cherishes to a new apprentice. the only teacher she had that didn't make her feel stupid for learning.. his minutes were numbered and so he chose to dedicate them to the ones who hold the white pen of hope. to his child who's convinced he's tarnishing his father's legacy. ouhghhhh..... gerson boom .... the silly side character that you are why are you so fucking cool.... his boss fight was awesome and that was just him. no "pent up after years of imprisonment" magic, no advanced body, no powerful mantle, no shadow crystal. he's as far as one can be past their prime and STILL has energy for adventuring and fighting (YOU CANNOT LAND A HIT ON HIM WITHOUT INTENTIONALLY CAUSING A DISTRACTION.) and teaching lessons. this guy doesn't need a shadow crystal he's DEAD and still kicks ass anyway

I haven’t replayed or talked about YTTD in forever but I can’t stop thinking about how Mai, despite being a baker with a dessert pastry character design vibe, canonically fucking loves vegetables. Her favorite foods are vegetable dishes. That’s so real and iconic. I genuinely feel represented by her. I’m so tired of all the anti-veggie propaganda in fiction where characters are written to love junk food, dessert, and meat in an attempt to be relatable. Mai is a sweets-coded yet veggie-loving queen, and it’s played straight. None of that “she’s forcing herself to eat them to be healthy” bs, just a professional food-maker who knows what’s good.

Misadventures has so quickly became one of my favourite smps and I am still obsessed with Katherine and Avid, they’re a fun duo.

Like, these two give off so many vibes which I am here for. They just mesh so well with being whimsy but also catlike and-
