Miramax tried abusing the DMCA system to remove this vid from youtube, so I'm giving it a tiny little boost on here to help Adam.

These two are probably my favorite YouTube videos of all time because not only are they incredibly well researched pieces that have genuinely important things to say in regards to fact checking and citing your sources, but they both tear down years worth of bullshit in the most vicious way possible

You can’t be angry. I consumed a lot of content this month. The issue is, uh, most of it wasn’t textual content. I sure WATCHED a lot of shit.
Maybe I shouldn’t have decided to start Stephen King’s The Dark Tower. Maybe looking up a pre-Tower reading list and beginning with The Stand, a half a million word brick wasn’t such a hot idea either. And reaching the halfway point of the book and getting interrupted by the new Factorio expansion…….

I think my favorite genre of youtube video is
Multi hour long take down of a giant rabbit hole web of blatant lies whose perpetrators desperately hoped no one would look into them.
The HBomberGuy Tommy Tallarico video and the YMS Kimba videos are two of my favorite examples. These sad pathetic grifters with paper thin mansions of utter falsehoods that no one took the time to really do anything substantial about, and some youtuber comes in and takes a 2 hour wrecking ball to the whole thing. It's so cathartic.

If you showed this to someone from the year 2000, the only things they’d be able to comprehend are “Bingo” and “4 days ago”. No offense to either channel. Whenever I see this in my recommendations, it reminds me of how alien YouTube is when you take a step back.

The Little Mermaid is one of those films that I used to be VERY harsh and critical of back in the day, and I would constantly bash Ariel and consider her one of the worst Disney protagonists...but after watching YMS's review of the remake and seeing just how bad it is compared to the original, I'm starting to rethink my thoughts on it.
I still have criticisms with the film (like the fact that Ariel doesn't have a character arc; she just kind of wants something and gets it, and it's her father who has to grow and develop), but I have a lot of positives to say about the film as well as negative, and at least I can appreciate it in a way I didn't years ago.
