Hot take, but I actually really like Hailey-Anne as a character in Yo-Kai Watch 3. When the game first came out about 10 years ago, me and my sister immediately recognized ourselves in her. She's nerdy, outgoing, really into magical girl anime and tokusatsu shows, and has a bubbly personality (and is definitely autistic-coded even if that wasn't the original intention of the writers). Yeah, she's a little annoying, and cringy, but that just makes her more relatable and sincere, and honestly one of the more accurate depictions of a tween girl in any videogame I've played. She DEFINITELY should have been a playable character in Yo-Kai Watch 4, she would've added so much fun charm and humor to the game, would've been a great foil for Katie as someone to help show her the ropes of being a watcher, and I'm still salty that she wasn't playable. (I personally think that her special watcher weapon if she was playable would have been a magical girl wand, and that she would be a ranger class character in battle.)

Honestly hate the fact that ykw4 changed the tribes but they had the GALL to trick us into thinking they’d keep them by having the charming and shady tribes being shown during the intro of the game (before nate goes to shadowside if you check the menu, Baku, Jibanyan, and Hidabat have their original tribes.
