if you had two telepaths trying to read each others minds at the same time i think they'd create a psychic feedback loop basically like turning to the wrong channel on an old tv and being hit with the nightmare static out of nowhere like an INSTANT migraine

I despise both Renesmee Cullen's and Hope Mikaelson's existences. Both characters are plot holes and shouldn't exist.
Renesmee Carlie Cullen is the daughter of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. She's half-human and half-vampire, and in Twilight, it was explained that only male vampires can have children with female humans. But that doesn't make any sense because vampires in Twilight don't have any blood in their bodies. Then, Stephanie Meyer explained that the venom that is in their bodies works similarly to the bodily fluids that are in humans. But if that was the case, then Bella shouldn't have gotten pregnant. She should have become a vampire after having sex with Edward. Renesmee is called 'half mortal and half immortal' by Aro, but how can a person be half mortal and half immortal? She's either mortal or immortal. She can't be both. Does she age, or does she not? Can she live forever, or does she have the lifespan of a human?
Now, onto Hope.
Hope Andrea Mikaelson is the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall-Kenner. She's a werewolf, vampire, witch tribrid. In the pilot episode of The Originals, it was explained that since Klaus was born a werewolf and became a vampire because of magic and not by drinking the blood of another vampire and dying with that vampire's blood in his system, he was able to conceive. Vampires in The Vampire Diaries are infertile and can not have children, and while Klaus is the world's first werewolf-vampire hybrid, he's still part vampire. He shouldn't have been able to have a child, which was confirmed in Legacies. The only reason Hope exists is because Malivore. So, if Malivore never existed, Hope would have never existed. She wasn't born because her father was created differently from traditional vampires, but because it is her destiny to defeat a mud monster.
Both characters are great (more so Hope because she was given her own show, and I grew to like her over Legacies' 4 season run. Renesmee was kinda there. Her CGI in the movies creeped me out, and she absolutely did nothing in the book), but their existence goes against the canons of their respective movies/books and show.
It's funny because both are created as plot devices to Bella and Klaus and they're meant to be the magical powerful baby of their universe, but their existence alone just makes it look ridiculous by breaking every single canon law.
As you said, Renaissance came out of nowhere. She was soo incredibly intelligent from the very first moment her parents made her, but apparently not smart enough to control her own strength seeing she broke several Bella's bones (like honestly, what the hell) and this demon spawn craved human blood for absolutely no logical reason other than Edward being a vampire. Ratatouille also could not be seen in the ultrasound or any other thing: she had a impenetrable amniotic sac because yes, exactly, her daddy is a vampire!
Honestly, I kinda feel bad for Ravioli. I've never finished reading Breaking Dawn (and I won't), it was such a corny book and I could only bring myself to the third part, where Bella spends time with baby Rasputin but I've heard interesting things to how the Cullen rise this sim. Apparently, Bella and Edward couldn't care less about their daughter, because as always they were more obssesed with each other and Rosalie did all the parenting, because the love birds couldn't be distracted with their CGI spawn. If I'm correct, Edward even called Bella more beautiful than Rim Job right in her face and instead of being mad, because their kid was right there, Isabella was just like "gosh edward, ily sm 😘😜😍"
Parents of the year.
Stephenie Meyer didn't care about Bella and Edward being parents: she just wanted the aesthetic that came with it, and she pulled the reasons of the human-vampire pregnancy out of her ass.
Actually, when I was in my twilight phase, I read a fanfic where Bella got pregnant, and the reason was a little more "coherent" than what Meyer gave: Having died so young, Edward's body "froze" his sperm and because he had remained a virgin for over a hundred years (lmao), he was able to get Bella, the first and only woman he slept with, pregnant. It's still shitty, and bad, but if they wanted them so badly to have a kid this was a better reason.
I just can't take Twilight books seriously. Apparently, there are no black vampires for a barely explained reason that is clearly racist (if I remember, the venom that vampires inject you during death just... removes your skin color), the mistreatment to the werewolves is just terrible, and there's Ratatunga too.
Now, moving to Hope Andrea Mikaelson, the white witch that is hated and loved in equal measures by the fandom. Oh my, this is gonna be interesting.
I have my moments with Hope, to be honest. Sometimes I completely adore her, and sometimes I just can't stand her. Her existence was completely pulled out of Pl*c's ass, who wanted to have her own version of Renameme so badly. Klaus shouldn't have even been able to procreate in the first place, because he was killed before Esther binded his werewolf side. Though vampires in tvd are more alive than dead, but that's a whole different thing. But clearly my point still remains.
I like Hope Mikaelson a lot more than Ragnarok Cullen, Summer Fontana/Danielle Russell and Mackenzie Foy are all really amazing and beautiful actresses who did great with the role they were given, but their characters completely broke canon. I like the tribrid more though because at least, she wasn't a fucking sim that aged five years in a week unlike Nestlé. The only way I could ever like Radioactive is by having her completely loathe her parents and family, especially because she was born in 2006 aka she's part of Gen Z.
Both characters shouldn't even exist in the first place, and Hope's existences is as much of a plothole as Riptide's. Renesmee gets more hate simply because of how she was in the womb and also because of how fast she grew, but they're both plotholes and shouldn't have been created no matter their popularity.

Twilight Thoughts (ranting again)
The thing is, if Stephanie had wanted to make a third book, i.e eclipse, - which was unnecessary, boring and weird, we could have had some type of unhinged plot twist where Charlie is revealed to be a Werewolf (unknowingly) and Bella is one too, but due to them being separated from their pack, they've never turned. That could for one explain why Edward and Aro can't read her thoughts, not why Alice can see her future... Also why Charlie's only friends are literal wolves and why he is team Jake (please Billy probably knows he's a werewolf but hasn't shifted and most likely never will). The scene of her scent was giving disgust and perhaps that should have been a hint too, but since she is not 100% one, it could explain why he got used to it (and I bet vampire's feeding on a werewolf is a different experience due to their blood probably being even better)
Bella being a female wolf would also explain her intense 'I feel at home with the black's' and that extreme loyalty to Jake. They were good friends but to consider your baby to be named E.J Junior is so unhinged. This girl looked Jake in the eyes and said her wedding was completed/perfect now that he had showed up... bestie, what?
As said, Eclipse was unnecessary. It was for the Team Jacob girlies because someone unfamiliar with the franchise would have been able to go from New Moon to breaking dawn. All that would need to be explain would be - where is Victoria (which I will get to later) The vampire army is nowhere near New moon, so a whole new plot point for what?
The plot that is Victoria's revenge is so.... human. I don't know what Vampire would go to this length to kill a HUMAN because Edward killed James ??? Most vampire media emphasis heavily on the fact that death being so common means the girlies either move on with ease, stay mad but still keep it pushing or they take themselves out. My VC girlies will know that despite Lestat and Armand's hatred for each other, the two probably send each other Christmas gifts with letters of how much they hate each other, but also Happy Christmas hope your well. Vampires circles aren't big, so to be out here full blown trying to go to war is so pointless and I would have enjoyed Victoria moving on, wait for Bella to be a vampire and THEN been her sworn enemy that occasionally have drinks over 'the good ol' days'. To be alive for an eternity and still bitter over a man (james) who disregarded the 7 against 2/3 ods is wild. Vic, I want better for you. Bonus; The volturi never catching wind or ending things was so weird. What's the point of a Vampire Coven if they only arrive after the battle? what are they? the police, come on...
The scene with Laurent is the most sensible vampire thing this movie has had. He wanted to mercy kill her because he knew a life of being chased would probably be worst then him just eating her (vampire logic is my favorite) and he was even willing to make it pain free. It's not like he was being cruel in my eyes, he genuinely things that is a better option then to face Victoria's wrath, and I cannot say I do not agree -- I just wished her option could be getting turned.
Bella would have never married Edward if it wasn't for the promise of vampirism. I do believe she loved him, but I also believe Stephanie and her religion had to come first. It's funny because I doubt any Mormon knows of twilight and approves, so why not just go all the way and - Make the 3 MC's (it is a stretch to call Jake that but we were force-fed this dude so I may as well) a Poly couple, especially after showing that Jake and Edward basically want to bang (my interpretation. I have never seen people loath each other yet be 2 inches away every argument, kiss already) - Not have Bella enter a weird 'I am a feminine female' era, and leave her to be the Buch flannel lesbian she was written as. She gives such overwhelming male energy, and Edward gives such overwhelming female energy, it is fun to watch them. - Have Charlie know about the vampires & werewolves already in New Moon. I do not know where the Charlie disrespect came from but it needed to stop, he's one of the 3 main-best dads.
Jasper's character was irrelevant and only served the purpose of training them on how to kill new-borns. Why doesn't Carlisle know that? Isn't he from the 15th Hundreds? Has he never faced similar problems?.
Alice power is wack, she can predict the future but it is not something she can control? (much like Aro, Jane, Edward etc can) It changes depending on if the person changes their mind (???) and she only sees it right before it will happen? How did she see that Bella was going to be a vampire but never predicted pregnancy? or that Bella was find after her diving? or who the new borns were? Why is her power's so inconsistent, complicated and in somewhat useless? Stephanie should have instead combined Jasper and Alice power (mood manipulation and short sighted visions that allowed her to at least see a bit ahead, none of that 'I see far out but also what is right Infront of me is a blur', it could have been explained with her possibly being heavily affected by the mood's of those around her, and that is why she is able to manipulate it)
The volturi arch should have been much larger, because we finally see how much stronger vampires they are (and that exist in the world besides the Cullen) but they are the representation of the Catholic Church so of course they have to appear useless and evil lol come on Stephanie, leave your faith at the door and give us a masterpiece how you did with Twilight and New Moon!
Imprinting would have been fine if the premise was Soul Mates and feelings are reciprocated, but it is only activated at a certain age (much like werewolves only realizing what they are at a certain age) or if it wasn't 10/10 times explained as ending romantically. If the audience (us) were shown and told that imprinting has resulted in just being best friends or happened amongst family member (tighter bond), we would not have been throwing up audibly. But no, they have the imprint gang laughing and kissing at the beach, then pan over to Embry and the toddler... like please how did no one in that writer's room for the movies (or an editor) ask Stephanie if she was okay in the head. The scene of Renaissance and Jake on the beach watching a sunset? baby is 6 second old and they already about to make out, please someone cut the cameras.
No one knowing vampire's and humans can procreate is so... weak. Especially when a vampire baby HAS BEEN BORN, I just know Carlisle was beating himself up about not worrying. This would have never happened if Bella had been turned before. I do not see why they needed to wait.
Lastly, Bobo should have been casted as Jake - I do not understand why he needed to be ripped to shreds at 15-16, when the other pack-members looked regular/strong. Bobo fit the description better. imo, and isn't a white man. But he is much younger then the others/franchise, so they'd have had to have filmed much later in the 2000's... And the cast overall is so good.

Summary: You’re a witch. You meet a couple of vampires in a store but teleport away when one gets a little too close to you. You meet them again on the battle ground. But what happens when you turn out to be a surtain tracker’s mate?
Request: Yes/no Anon:Hi! Can I please request a Demetri x witch! reader where she meets Dem & Felix when they're on a mission. Y/n saves Dem & Felix. Y/n + Dem make eye contact, he knows they're mates. He tries to tell her, but she gets scared & teleports away (becoming like a game to both of them, also frustrating to Dem). The Cullen's ask Y/n to be a witness when the Volturi come for Renesmee. Dem + Y/n can't keep their eyes off each other, longing for each other's touch & presence. Marcus tells Aro Y/n&Dem are mates
A/N: I changed it a bit, oops. Also, sorry for beign gone. I had writes block. Double oops.
Warings: none

You didn't like being around people, hence why you've been a nomad for the past few years. While vampires can quite easily blend in with people, witches like yourself can't. Sometimes your powers are hard to control. Emotions can make you lose control so one anger outburst could blow your cover. After you lost you accidentally your old friend's house on fire, you left town. You packed up your stuff and started to travel around. You've been mostly staying in forests. The closeness to nature has given you more control and peace. Still, you had to go to a town once a week to get some groceries and necessities.
You take your time to browse through the selves. Looking carefully at each item before deciding whether or not you need it. Luckily, you are the only one in the store except for the employees so you can take your sweet time shopping. The ding of the bell hanging above the door alerts you that others have entered the store. Shit. You place the can of bean you're holding in your cart before starting to walk over to the till. You hear footsteps coming from your left. Apparently, a group has entered the store. You quickly glance over to the people. All have dark eyes that scream 'contact lenses'. Their skin looks hard as a diamond and flawlessly smooth. Vampires. One of the men glances up at you. Blond hair sits in perfect tuffs on top of his head. A dark hoodie and a pair of overwashed jeans adorn his body. A warm wave of emotions washes over you.
Your heart skips a couple of beats and breathing all of a sudden becomes a difficult task. The man lets out a gasp before walking over to you with quick steps. You try to back up but your back quickly hits a shelf behind you. "You're...You're..." the man says, stumbling over his words. He grabs a hold of your arms. You shake your head as you try to push him off you. Your body yearns for his touch but your mind screams for him to go away. "You're my...". You close your eyes as if that will make him go away. A mental war between staying with him and running away as fast as you can goes on in your heads. Your powers make the decision for you and all of a sudden, you teleport away from the man and into the forest.
The man is left standing in the store, his hands still in the air from where he was touching you. He looks around confused. "You're my mate," he mutters out to the empty air in front of him.
____
You had left the country. Leaving everything behind and running to the United States. You're too scared to see that man again although he has appeared in all your dreams ever since then. A part of you yearns for him. It screams out and begs you to search for him but the logical part of you knows to stay hidden. However, you're hiding had to come to an end. You had received a letter from an old friend of yours, Carlisle, asking you to be his witness. You agreed within a heartbeat, he had saved your life on multiple occasions. A car pulling up in front of you pulls you out of your thoughts. The passenger door opens and you quickly jump into the car, pulling the door shut behind you and putting in your safety belt. You look over at the driver. Emmett. You pull him in for a hug.
"Long time no see," he says before letting go of you and driving off. You nod. You lean back into your seat. "You know how it is. I can't just go out and live amongst humans as you guys do," you say. Emmett nods. The drive over to the Cullen's house is just a little shorter than an hour. You slept the whole way. Emmett opens your door for you as you take slow steps out of the car. Your mind is still clouded by sleep. The front door flies over and Carlisle steps out of the building. He runs over to you and pulls you into a surprisingly gentle hug.
"I missed you," He mumbles against your shoulder. You nod and pull him closer to you. "Missed you too," you say before letting him go. "So, you're a grandpa now. That's cool.". He nods and flashes you a bright smile. He points towards the porch where the Cullen family has now gathered on. You look over at the child standing next to Bella and Edward. You take slow steps over to her. You crouch down in front of her so that you're now on her eye level. "I'm Y/n.".
"Renesmee," she says. You smile at the name. Renesmee lifts her hand and places it on your cheek. Memories flood your mind. Her birth. Bella laying in bed. Bella dying. Renesmee laying in Rosalie's arms. All of it. You let out a gasp as you pack away and out of her touch. "She's human," you mutter out. Bella nods. "How?".
"She was born when I was still human," Bella says. Her voice is careful and soft. You can't help but smile. "Amazing," you say. Bella smiles back at you. You turn around and look at Carlisle. You walk away from Renesmee and towards him.
"Will you be our witness?" he asks. You nod. "Of course,".
Scary. The Volturi are scary, weird and you don't like them a single bit. Especially Aro. The nasty man makes you want to rip out your eyes. The disgusting smile that's always present on his lips makes you feel nauseous. "I don't like 'em," you whisper to Esmee who's standing next to you. She smiles gently. You look over the rest of the Volturi. Men with long hair. Women who look like they can kill someone with on hand behind their back. The man. Your heart stops for a second. Your mouth becomes dry as you lock eyes with him. You want to run towards him. Hug him, kiss him, run away from him. Everything at the same time. Edward gasps as he grabs your arm and pulls you behind him.
A brunette man whispers something in Aro's ear. A happy smile spreads over his lips. "Demitri," he says. So the man has a name. "It looks like you've found your mate.". No. No, no, no. Anything but that. Why did you have to be a vampire mate? You shake your head as you back away from the man. Your eyes are still locked with his. You can't seem to take your eyes off him. The man opens and closes his mouth a couple of times but is unable to form words. The man runs over to you and is standing in front of you in a flash.
"I'm Demitri," he says. His English accent makes your stomach fill with butterflies. You let out an uncontrollable giggle before clasping your hand over your mouth. A smile spreads over Demitri's lips. "I-I'm Y/n," you say softly. Demitri's heart fills with warmth. "A beautiful name," he says. You nod.
"R-Renesmee is human," you say. Demitri gets pulled out of his thoughts. The reality of the situation suddenly hits him. You're part of the offending coven. He's supposed to fight you. He glances over his shoulder at Aro. Aro weights out his possibilities. If he chooses to fight the Cullens, he knows that Demitri will be on your side. He can't lose his best tracker. "We won't fight today," Aro announces.
A relieved smile spreads over your lips. Demitri grabs a hold of your hand. A shiver runs through your spine at the feel of his cold skin. "Come to Italy with me," he begs. You nod. Your heart wants to follow him, to be with him forever.  Demitri smiles brightly at you. He nods towards the Volturi. "Come," he says. You nod as you follow behind him and towards the Volturi. All of a sudden, he picks you up and runs off with you in his arms. Everything around you is a blur and you almost get whiplash from the speed at which he's running. Oh god, you're in for a wild ride.
