Are you named after anyone? from what I'm told, my mother was going through a french phase and loved the name jacqueline so, here I be! though extra lore nobody asked for: because it's got so many letters, I typically go by jacqui unless it's a ~fancy official thing or I'm in trouble, hah

When was the last time you cried? it would probably be easier to ask me when I'm not crying (anxiety club cardholder)

Do you have kids? nada! I am not parental material, but I do enjoy being the fun cool aunt to three nephews

What sports do you play/have you played? uh, bench warmer if we're being literal about it I don't think I was ever picked for a team willingly a day in my life I am both short and require glasses to see anything long distance - but! I was more interested in drama and books anyway so y'know battles, pick 'em.

Do you use sarcasm? frequently and with flourish!

What’s the first thing you notice about people? I'm actually a big one for vibes, I tend to gravitate toward the folks who put out the chill, easy going vibes. I'm very cerebral by nature, I live in my head so anybody who wants or digs conversations is also a big drawcard for me, I dunno! I like nice people who are funny and a bit different and aren't terribly concerned about what the masses are doing (idk hashtag just aquarius things I suppose) but also - hands! love expressive talkers, love hands. People with big smiles and the ability to poke a bit of good natured fun at themselves and the craziness of the world.

What’s your eye color? blue!

Scary movies or happy endings? oh ya girl is a sap so give me a happy ending every time, although points if it's a scary movie with some sort of happy(ish) ending

Any talents? hm, I guess I can string a coherent sentence together! I used to really enjoy acting in drama class, does making people laugh count as a talent? I like making people feel good I suppose, I'm the biggest cheerleader for people I'm close with

What are your hobbies? reading, wasting hours on the internet, RPing, sometimes graphic design/website design (just for funsies), writing, cross stitch

Do you have any pets? I wish I did! can't really have them where I'm renting atm so I yearn and admire all the neighborhood cats

Favorite subject in school? we had a subject called literature which was my absolute jam since it meant spending time studying all my favorite authors

Dream job? well I always wanted to be a writer, or an actor possibly but my anxiety said lmao no to the latter and the former I suppose I am in the way everybody who writes is a writer, just y'know, not so much in the way that it pays my bills

A post was going around tumblr a few days ago that got my anxiety all up. It involves a question asked at a con. I got the impression from some of those who reblogged the post that they were laughing at the questioner. Maybe not. But I’ve decided to own it. It was me that asked about Sebastian’s citizenship at fandemic.

I explained to him why I asked. My daughter has dual citizenship. It was just something I wondered about. Something to find in common. I also apologized to him at the photo portion thinking he didn’t like the question because of how he responded. He was very nice and said it was fine it was just an odd question.

Now, back to the post response. I’ve been laughed at a few times in my life for asking a question so that’s nothing new. And maybe it’s my anxiety telling me the laughs were directed at me when they weren’t. That’s also nothing new.

Part One - Part Two 

The breeze fell still, and everything seemed so quiet.

Or so it seemed.

Your fingers were deep in Chris’ hair as your lips molded against his. You were both so caught up in each other, taking every second in. Until the sound of a dog barking caught your attention, breaking the kiss.

“I-I got to go.” Chris said, clearing his throat.

Before you could even react, he had already started toward his house. Leaving you alone with different emotions roaming through you.

For months, you had thought about kissing him. How’d it feel, how he would taste, but you never imagined that it would leave you breathless.

And you wanted more.

A text lit up your phone, the vibration woke you from your deep sleep.

I’m outside. Riley texted.

You let out a groan, rolling over to your side. Suddenly, the memory of last night played in your head and you immediately shot up and climbed out of your bed.

Cautiously, you walked over to your window. Your heart was pounding as you peeked through the blinds. Hoping to see him again.

But alas, his window was covered from the curtains.

You let out a long sigh, and ran your hand through your hair. A part of you wanted to go over there and apologize but the other part wanted to avoid him. You didn’t know what to do.

Hello? Are you coming?! Riley’s text interrupted your thoughts.

Yeah, sorry. Be there in a min. You replied.

You pulled your hair up onto a messy bun, and threw on black high waisted shorts and a white v-neck shirt.

Hurry up! I want to get there before it’s crowded.

I’m coming down now. You replied.

As you opened the front door, you felt your breath hitch to the back of your throat.

“Hi.” Chris smiled, his hands shoved into his front pockets.

“H-Hi” you forced out.

He looked you up and down real quick, then met your gaze. “Sorry, were you going somewhere?”

“Y-Yeah, my friend and I were going to the mall.” You exhaled, nervously playing with the hem of your shirt. “About last night-”

“Yea, I wanted to talk to you about that.” He said.

“There you are!” Riley interrupted. “Oh sorry, am interrupting something?”

Chris flashed a smile, and nodded his head. “Nope, not at all.”

Her eyes lit up. For months she’s been begging you to meet Chris, but you didn’t want to make it awkward. So here she was, finally meeting him in person.

“Chris.” He reached his hand out to her.

“Riley.” Her smile was so big, she couldn’t contain her excitement.

“Well I should go so you girls could have fun at the mall.” He teased.

“Would you like to join us?” Riley asked. “There’s room in the car for one more.”

Chris looked back at you, and though you wanted to scream at Riley, you were frozen in your stance. With a stupid smile plastered on to your face.

“Come on, we need some muscle to carry the bags.” She cackled. “We will buy you ice cream for the help!”

Chris chuckled with her, his hand on his chest. “Can’t say no to that.”

And before you knew it, they were walking to the car.

“Just be cool.” You whispered to yourself.

You sat in the passenger seat, fighting everything inside of you to look back at him.

It was nerve wrecking to say the least. You were nervous to even breathe.

“Oh my god, it’s our song!” Riley cranked up the volume and began to sing to you.

You couldn’t help but laugh as she tried to encourage you to sing along with her. But you only shook your head.

“Come on! We always sing this song together!”

And then suddenly you heard Chris lean in. “Don’t let me stop you. Just pretend I’m not here.”

“No I’m–”

“All you have to do is stay a minute. Just take your time–” Riley sang at the top of her lungs.

You let out a breath and joined her. Singing loudly together even if you were off key. You just wanted to pretend nothing happened and have things go back to the way it was before.

Chris sat back into the seat, watching the way you let yourself go into the music. He watched you two move your bodies, throwing your hands into the air. He couldn’t help but laugh to himself. You were just too adorable.

The words struck him as you continued singing. And he was lost in his thoughts.

Jenny is his fiancé. The girl he’s suppose to marry in a few months. He can’t be having feelings for another woman. He just can’t.

But no matter how hard he tries to push his feelings aside, he can’t. He was slowly beginning to fall for you. Hard. And it scared him.

The mall wasn’t too crowded. Thankfully.

You went into a few stores, looked around. Even had some fun making jokes with Chris. It felt like normal. Having him there. And laughing with him.

You were both picking out hideous outfits for each other and making each other out it on. It made the trip even better.

“I’ll be back, I need to try these on.” Riley said.

As you looked at some of the shirts, contemplating what you want to buy for the weekend, Chris came up next to you.

“So where are you guys going this weekend?” He asked.

“A friend of ours has a cabin by the lake. So we are all going out there this weekend. Maybe have a barbecue.” You shrugged. “Get away from this town for a bit.”

Chris nodded, and picked a dark wine colored dress from the rack and handed it to you.

“I think this would look beautiful on you.” He stated. “I saw you eyeing it since we walked in.”

He was so close to you, you could smell his scent. And immediately brought you back to last night.

“Y/N, can you help me? I can’t get this damn thing on.” Riley asked, interrupting the moment.

“Y-Yeah, I’ll be right there.”

Three hours you all spent together.

It seemed so fast, but that’s what happens when you’re having a good time.

“Thanks for hanging out with us! It was really great to meet you.” Riley smiled at Chris.

“It was fun. Thanks for inviting me.” He chuckled.

“I’ll call you in a little.” You said, closing the door to her car. “Drive safe.”

She nodded and waved before pulling out of your drive way.

Chris stalled, his hands deep in his front pockets as he looked at you. “Thanks for today, I had a lot of fun.” Chris paused, and cleared his throat. “I like hanging out with you.”

You flashed a soft smile. “Me too.”

Chris’ eyes glanced around the neighborhood, feeling his stomach churn. “Do you–do you want to come over and hang out for a bit longer?” He asked.

You knew what you should say. You knew that nothing could ever happen between you two. And even though you knew what you should do, you caved in.

“Sure.” You said.

The house was quiet. Dodger was outside, running around.

“Where’s Jenny?” You asked. Feeling a slight tinge as you said her name.

“She went to visit her dad. He lives a few hours away so she’ll be back tomorrow night.” He said.

Knowing you were alone with aches made everything harder. You now had to control yourself even more. But just by being with him, you grew hot.

“Beer?” He asked.

“Yes please.” You replied. Your heart beating fast.

“So last night–” Chris looked down opening his beer. He handed you the other bottle and took a sip at the same time.

“I just want to say I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have kissed you.” He finished.

You chugged down half of the beer. This wasn’t a conversation to have while sober.

“It’s ok. I know you didn’t mean it. It was just a simple mistake.” You exhaled. You stared at the bottle in your hand, hoping he wasn’t staring, but of course, he was.

“Y-You think I didn’t mean it?” He asked.

You looked up and met his gaze.

“I wanted to kiss you. So bad.” He continued. “Since the day I met you–I don’t Know why but I have been drawn to you, Y/N. This isn’t suppose to happen though. I’m not suppose to have these feelings for you. But I can’t shake them. Everyday I spend with you, my feelings for you grow. I’m engaged, but I can’t stop wanting you.” Chris blurted out.

You couldn’t believe what you were hearing, that you let the bottle slip out of your hand.

“Shit!” You yelled.

Chris ran to your side and slipped his arm around your waist and pulled you into him. “Careful.” He said as he lifted you up and stepped away from the glass.

“I’m sorry.” You exhaled.

He placed you down beside him. His hands rested on your hips. Your eyes were locked on each other. And suddenly nothing else mattered. And with just one inhale, you both leaned in and crashed your lips.

His lips were just as soft as before and tasted of a hint of beer with a mixture of mint. Your head felt lightheaded yet you wanted more. His hands slid up to your hair and lightly tugged. A Moan escaped your lips.

Chris picked you up and had you straddle him. You quickly pulled his shirt off and crashed your lips to his again. Your hand ran over his chest and Chris felt himself twitch under his boxers, from the touch. He pulled your shirt off and kissed from your neck down to your the top of your breast.

“God, I want you so bad.” He groaned.

Every part of you want to rip his clothes off and take him. To feel him pulse inside of you as you rode over his lap. Just thinking about it made your stomach flutter immensely.

Chris’ phone went off, making you both jolt.

It was Jenny.

Guilt ran through you, making you sick to your stomach. Without hesitation, you got up and pulled your shirt back on.

Chris sat there quietly, staring blankly at his phone, letting it go to voicemail.

“Aren’t you going to answer it?” You broke the silence. “No. I-i can’t.” He mumbled.

“She’s your fiancé, Chris.” You grabbed your bag and headed for the door. Every part of you wanted to fall apart. But you just wanted to leave. To be alone.

Chris ran after you.

“Y/n, please don’t leave.” He pleaded.

“We can’t do this. You’re engaged. This–” you motioned between the two of you. “This can’t happen.”

He swallowed hard, knowing you were right but he couldn’t just let you leave.

“I think I’m falling in love with you.” He said.

his hair's just at that awkward in between length rn. i wish they'd do my fave hairstyle of his, which is when he piles it onto his head so that it adds like 2-3 solid inches of height. i'm obsessed with the volume, torn between parched thirst and seething jealousy.
