Heyyyyyy bestie!
Occasionally, I have the desire to pop onto Tumblr and attempt to relight the candle within me that still loves this hellsite and longs to return, and apparently this is one of those times. So tonight, I decided to come into your inbox and ask you a random question like old times,,,,, pray to god the ask doesn’t get eaten by the tumblr gods, depraved though the may be,,,,, anyway, here’s a thought, perhaps inspired by my impending SKZ concert (still screaming, crying, throwing up, wanting to eat glass, and commit murder over such a statement. Can you BELIEVE it’s actually gonna happen!!!! This isn’t just the fangirl pipe dream it usually is!!!!):
If you could attend any concert (past, present; not even currently in the works, outside of the majesty of your imagination), what would it be?? But like,,,, top 5 concerts because I know you have too much love in your heart to ever possibly choose just one <3
Also, I’m still exploring ATEEZ but I think it vital you know that I was seriously considering just making hongjoong my bias today and sticking by it, and then I found out,,,,,, he’s the shortest member of ATEEZ,,,,,, it was a joke I love my short kings, but idk how much of a joke it truly IS, anymore. I can’t deny the facts that beyond Namjoon, all my biases are the short ones,,,,,,,
Oh, lol, I forgot to share at least some of my ideal concerts:
Bastille for All This Bad Blood and/or Doom Days
5SOS for Youngblood and/or CALM
BTS for literally anything ever (they could make music with those free sound effects you can use for video editing and I would eat it up 😤😤)
Coldplay for Viva La Vida or Death and All of His Friends
Dvicio for literally any album/era post 2016. (I just haven’t given Justo Ahora enough plays to really get into it the way I currently get down to Impulso, Qué Tienes Tú, and EL LABERINTO)
Special shout out to Hozier, Depeche Mode, The Rose, Backstreet Boys, Billy Joel, Panic! At The Disco, and ONEUS <3. They would also be a dream, but I gotta prioritize at some point, and I might as well mention the less attainable concerts first 😭 rip to my favorite eras of these bands and/or the fact that they’ll never tour by me (dvicio come closer than Mexico City challenge,,,,, it’s hard enough to convince me to cross state lines,,,,)
ma'am I am blessing you kissing you tenderly for sending me this, I have been pondering this these past few days and I'm honestly just getting salty that no artist wants to come to Canada, let alone my province rip. Without further ado, here are my Top 5 Concerts:
BTS (I would agree I would literally not care whatever era, for whatever setlist, but if I have to be 100% honest I'd kill to go to their Love Yourself tour, every fancam I've seen, every performance we've gotten filmed, I NEED!)
Taylor Swift - Eras Tour (there still might be a chance for me to attend. Please miss blondie release the international dates I will commit crime to get hands on tickets)
Agust D (can you believe Yoongi is going on a world tour and going to like 10 countries. Askjfs I get it with his enlistment and all and we're for sure getting concert clips but I WANT TO BE IN THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS!!! Plus I'm 90% we're gonna get Tony Montana with Jimin and I would and will go insane when that happens)
Seventeen - Be The Sun Tour (I got legit post concert depression when this ended and I didn't even attend
Twenty One Pilots - The Bandito Tour (bruh I sooo should have caved and got tickets back in 2018. Every single time I listen to Trench - one of my favourite albums of all time - I constantly think of how amazing it would be to hear live. and then I die a little inside knowing I'll never get the chance)
honourable mentions are: Coldplay, Conan Gray, the 1975, Arctic Monkeys, ONE OK ROCK, Nothing But Thieves, Hozier, NF (again), Stray Kids, The Rose, Bastille, The Weeknd, 5SOS, Chase Atlantic, Panic! At The Disco

ੈ✩‧ ➛ han jisung thinks he's subtle as he pines over you
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing : han x gn reader ; genre : fluff | warnings : none ; word count : 0.8k words
summary : han jisung couldn't be more subtle as he pined after you. ranging from eagerly buying your merchandise to watching your favorite shows just so he has more reasons to talk to you. it would've been adorable if it hadn't been going on for so long.
chan's ver. | hyunjin's ver. | jeongin's version | felix's ver. | lee know's ver. | changbin's ver.
if there was one thing han jisung would never judge overly zealous kpop stans for, was their passion. Never for the way they would viciously defend their bias or spend an unnecessary amount of money when trading photocards. He would never question their excitement. He couldn't. Not when he was on the same boat as them.
You were a rookie idol, so new to the world of kpop, so full of life and love for what you did, never letting the fame get to your head. Nobody could blame han for falling for you, really. The poor boy was so in love it was comical. He thought he was subtle with the way he was always steaming your music and buying your merch. He thought nobody would notice the secret fan account he ran for you on Twitter and Instagram. Han jisung thought he was a mastermind for the way he "skilfully" kept his crush a secret. But the boy could fool absolutely nobody, not his members nor yours. yes things were hard because of JYPs dating ban for rookie idols but did that stop him from being delusional? absolutely not.
the members caught him multiple times giggling to your instagram posts or marveling at your vocals during a performance. it was like watching a teenage boy fall in love for the first time, complete with the dreamy sighs and feet kicking.
when changbin caught jisung eagerly watching a show in their dorm early one morning, he wasn't that surprised. but when he found out it was a romance show? that raised a few questions because nearly everyone knew han was more of a horror lover. that was until the older man found out the shows name. of course han jisung was watching the show you had recently revealed in an interview you were obsessed with. the excited grin on his face and slight furrow between his brows as he concentrated on the plot would've been adorable if changbin hadn't been so exasperated. This was the seventh k-drama jisung was watching for you. just so he could find more reasons to talk to you, as if he didn't spend nearly half his time texting you either ways.
"Enjoying the story, han?"
of course han hadn't noticed changbin walk into his room. not when he was dutifully remembering every moment playing on the screen so he could talk to you about it later.
"yeah it's a nice show."
"i bet the person who recommended it is real nice too, huh?"
"hyung!"
changbin wished he could take a picture of the blush spreading across jisung's face and down his neck and send it to you with a message in big bold letters reading THIS MAN IS IN LOVE WITH YOU PLEASE ACKOWLEDGE HIM!!! but jisung would go wild so he chose the safer option of leaning again the younger boy's door frame, a teasing smirk playing at his lips.
"do you like this show better than the one you finished watching last week, which was also recommended by y/n?"
"i am not watching these shows just because y/n likes them."
"oh ok, so you're not going to text them about this episode the instant you're done watching it?"
"nope."
"good! so you don't mind if i text them about it instead? because i just finished the show last night."
it was a lie, obviously, but han was immediately scrambling up from his position on the bed, trying to convince changbin against it while trying not to blow his cover.
"just tell them you like them, jisung, y/n's not gonna avoid you for it."
"chan hyung just finished teasing me about this too, please don't start again."
changbin wished he could record han whining his denials too, because he couldn't believe how whipped someone could be.
that was until jisung's phone vibrated with a notification, and his disbelief only grew as he watched his member's eyes light up. jisung kept only your notifications on, so it was obvious who had texted him. all thoughts of changbin were forgotten as jisung eagerly read whatever you had sent, typing back his response immediately, earning a snort from changbin. jisung was known among their friend group for being a ghoster, but of course he was texting you back immediately. changbin knew he wasn't going to get any more responses when han didn't even look up from the screen.
"you better confess soon or im going to text them from your phone one day."
"you wouldn't dare!"
"i most certainly would."
changbin cackled as he left the younger boy shouting indignantly from his room. he knew the seven of them would breathe a sigh of relief only when han finally came clear to you about his feelings. until then, all they could hope for was the boy mustering the courage required to do so quick.

Seungmin is one of your best friends and also a conniving master of manipulation.  Being a malevolent source of wicked verbal wizardry, he convinced you and Minho that it would be totally super easy to sneak into the Hwang Hyunjin concert.  It’s only the final night of the pop-star’s sold-out world tour and the most anticipated concert of the year.  What could go wrong?
It sounded like a good idea when Seungmin said it.  Now the three of you are standing in a pushy crowd of overeager fans with some very intimidating looking security guards at the end of the queue.
“Reconvene,” you say.  You grab the boys by their scruff and drag them out of the line.
“Ah, hey!” Minho snaps at you like piranha.
You release him to grab Seungmin by his collar.  “You better have an idea for getting us past security,” you say, “because I do not like the look of the Incredible Hulk up there.”
The three of you look at the shortstack beefcake who looks like he could bench all three of you at the same time.
“Yeaaaah,” Seungmin says.  He flashes you a not-so-innocent smile as his strawberry-pink bangs flop into his eyes.  “I didn’t really think this far ahead.  I thought you’d have a plan.”
“Why would I have a plan?” you ask.  “This whole thing was your idea.  Seungmin.”  You drag him close so your noses touch, going cross-eyed at the proximity.  It does not lessen the severity of your frustration when you state, “I waxed for this.  And you know how I feel about waxing.”
“You waxed?” Minho asks loudly.  It draws a few glances your way which might be because Minho is so loud, or might be because he’s so good looking, or a combination of the two.  His dark eyes narrow at you like you’re a completely alien creature.   “Why would you wax for a concert?” he asks.
“Wax,” Seungmin parrots.  Your hands are on his collar like you intend to shake him up but it doesn’t deter him asking, “Like… like wax-wax?  Like your human body waxed?”
“Like your human pussy?” Minho asks.  “For a concert?  What did you think was gonna happen?”  He is on the very visible verge of hysterical laughter when a thought lights his eyes.  “Wait,” he says.  “I know how we can get in—”
“Oh my god,” you say.  You shove Seungmin and grab Minho by the collar instead.  “I’m not fucking our way in.  And I waxed,” you drop your voice, “just in case.”
“Just in case…?” Minho tips his head.  “Just in case you had to fuck your way in…?”
“Oh my god,” you say.  You push him away too.  “Never mind.”
“Did you think Hyunjin was going to summon you out of the crowd for a green room quickie?”  Seungmin asks with a shit-eating grin.
Minho cackles.  “No way she’d even go,” he says.  “She doesn’t get summoned.  She likes to be chased.”
“She is walking away now,” you say.
“Bet she’ll walk away quickly,” Seungmin says.  “She waxed so she’ll be aerodynamic.”
You stomp away from the stadium but only make it a few steps before Seungmin runs in front of you.
“We can’t just give up here,” Seungmin says.  “We made it this far already.”
“One bus stop?” you ask dryly.  “We literally live like five minutes away—”
“Exactly!” Seungmin says.  “That’s called destiny.”
“We might as well try,” Minho says.  He cups a hand over his eyes to look at the stadium in the fading light of the sun.  “We all got dressed up.  Seungmin skipped a class.  You waxed.”
“There’s no way we’re getting through those doors,” you say.
“We’ve done it before,” Seungmin says.  He turns you to face the stadium and massages your shoulders like a boxing coach, all the while regaling you with tales of your past victories.  “Remember all the other concerts we snuck into?  The sports games?  That celebrity wedding—”
“Well,” Minho interrupts, “we did get arrested at that one.”
“Yeah and we got arrested together,” Seungmin says, “because that’s what friends do.”
“I don’t know why,” you say, “but for some reason this is working.”  Maybe it’s Seungmin’s words, or Minho’s cologne, or maybe it’s the soft glow of a perfect summer sunset as it pours over the stadium like a pink-orange waterfall.  Or maybe it’s because this really is the concert of the year, and you love a challenge, and you fucking waxed.
You throw your head back and sigh, soulfully resigning yourself to your imminent fate.
“Fine,” you say.  “So how are we doing this?”
“Don’t worry,” Seungmin says thoughtfully.  “I think I have a plan.”
Seungmin proceeds to explain the plan.  It is hardly the pinnacle of heist endeavours but is more feasible than rappelling down the stadium walls into the concert arena.
Basically, the plan is to find a group of people with a solitary ticket holder and leech onto their tail with the hopes security will miscount the party and let you sneak past.  It means you will have to split up because security will definitely notice three extra people.  You will then hopefully reunite inside the arena.
You scamper around the periphery of the stadium, perusing lines for oblivious groups of excited fans with an e-ticket-wielding ringleader.  You also double-check which security guards seem the most lax or checked out.
“I get that one,” Minho says.
He points to a trim, athletic guard with floppy brown hair and a giggly smile.  You and Seungmin protest because that guard is an easy mark so you all want him, but Minho takes off running for the queue.
The thing about Lee Minho is that he never hauls ass.  He coasts through life with a casual slouch, but he is completely capable of annihilating everyone if he deigns to do so.
He does.  So he did.
You and Seungmin look around.  Your grin widens when you spy the next easiest target.
“Aha!” you say.  “I call dibs on that one!  Good luck, Seungmin!”
“Hey!” Seungmin bellows.
He is far too late.  You are already booking it towards the line with a pretty, chipper, skinny security guard.  He is in jeans and a loose windbreaker that says SECURITY across the back, about the only indication he is a man of any authority.  His hair is a vibrant, neon blue and is delicately styled, long enough to pull back in a pretty half-ponytail.  His features are sharp, cheekbones sloping, but there is a natural tenderness to his whole countenance.  He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.
Also, he really is lean.  Worst case scenario, you can probably push your way past him and disappear into the crowd before he can do anything about it.
You find a group of girls to sidle alongside anyway.  You are satisfied you will easily slip into the stadium.
The group reaches the front of the line, a couple of them giggling at the security guard’s friendly attention.  His name tag reads Felix, a cute name for a cute guy.  Up close, you can see a smattering of dark freckles across his face, as well as a few playful glitter stars for the concert.  He is admittedly pretty but as a professional gate crasher, you refrain from distraction.  You successfully avoid his gaze and stick close to the girl in front of you.
Felix gives them each a friendly nod, smiling brightly.  He laughs at one of their comments and it’s a charming, low sound.
“Enjoy the show, ladies,” he says, his voice about a hundred decibels deeper than you expected.
Maybe that’s what trips you up.  It has to be something, because you were doing everything right.  But just as you go to follow the girls into the arena, a skinny arm shoots out and you smack right into it.
“Sorry,” Felix says.  He drops his arm and smiles.  “I just need to see your ticket.”
“My…?”  You look ahead at the group of girls, but they are already gone.  Oops.  “Ha, ha,” you say, looking at Felix.
He is staring back at you, still smiling a close-lipped smile.  He blinks a couple times then lifts an eyebrow.
“Uh, ticket?” he says.  He holds out his hand.
“Right,” you say.  You smile at him with all the saccharine sweetness you can.  “I have funny story about that, Felix,” you say.
“Hm.”  His smile turns into a line, eyes narrowing as he looks at you.  “And what’s that?”
“Well, you see…”
It’s all you say before you bolt, fast on your feet.  You sprint for the entryway behind the guarded queue.  There’s a crowd inside and you’re an expert at disappearing into a crowd.  You just need to get in there and find your boys then you are home free.  Hwang Hyunjin, here you come.
There’s just one problem.
Felix is fast.
Like, track star fast.  Like, road runner fast.  Like, you’re that dumb coyote getting an anvil dropped on your head, except this anvil is a skinny blue-haired Australian with a voice like a god and the apparent hidden strength of one too.
You make it a few desperate steps before Felix literally sweeps you off your feet.  You shriek when he hauls you under his arm, dragging you away from the stadium door.  He deposits you a few feet from the queue then swiftly resumes his position.
“Hello,” he says to the next person in line.  “Sorry about that.  Ticket?”
Your mouth is agape.
No one has ever got the jump on you like that.
“Hey!” you say, but Felix has moved on.  He is smiling at the next guest as he checks their ticket, not paying you any mind.  “Excuse me,” you say, despite the people between you and him.  “I think there’s been a misunderstanding.  I do have a ticket.”
“Uh-huh,” Felix says.  He doesn’t look at you, scanning someone’s e-ticket with a little device.  It lights up green and he smiles at them.  “Enjoy the show,” he says.
You jump into the queue, cutting off the next person.  Felix’s smile vanishes and is replaced with an astoundingly sassy expression.
“Uh, this line is for ticket-holders,” he says.
“I have a ticket,” you say.  You unzip your purse and spend a minute rifling around, ignoring him when he sighs.  He apologizes to the people behind you.  You turn and offer a tight-lipped apology of your own.  “I was in line,” you say, as if they didn’t just witness this ten-pound bully haul you around like a sack of potatoes.  “There was just a misunderstanding.”
Felix rolls his eyes.
You pull out your cell phone and flip through a folder of fake screenshotted tickets, hoping at least one of them marginally resembles the tickets for tonight.  You pick one and flash it at Felix.
“Happy?” you say with a lot of false indignation.  You turn off the screen when Felix goes to grab your phone.  You give him a snooty, squinty-eyed look, then saunter right past him.
This time when he comes after you, you are better prepared for his speed.   You zig-zag and he stumbles, cussing very unprofessionally.  You make it all the way to the door before he grabs you.  You have no idea where he is getting all that muscle because he feels like a sturdy stick when you grab at him, but he puts you over his shoulder like it’s easy.
“Um, excuse me!” you shout.  “Hello!  Someone film this!  I’m being assailed!”
Felix intentionally jostles you on his shoulder.  He is even less gentle when he drops you this time, though you do manage to keep your footing.
“Try that again,” Felix says, “and it will be trouble.  Got it?”
Felix is very good looking.  He’s an incredible combination of pretty and handsome, not to mention that voice, guh.  But what gets you going is how much you are clearly pissing him off.  It’s hot.  Out of nowhere, the freckled sunshine sweetheart is just oozing confidence, standing square and pointing at you with a very stern expression.  And if you get a little hiccup in your blood, a little skip in your heartbeat, a little stampede southward that makes your pussy hum like the interested kitten it is, well.  That’s not your fault.  It’s his.  Asshole.
You flip him off.  He ignores you, shaking his head as he returns to his position.
“Sorry,” he says to the queue.  “Some people are so inconsiderate, aren’t they?”
Ugh. What a sexy bitch.
You text to check in with the boys.  Minho made it inside, no surprise, but apparently Seungmin is also struggling for an in.
what is with these security guards, Seungmin writes, are they military trained? fuck
maybe you’re both just losing your touch, Minho replies.
never, you say.  we still have lots of time.  we'll get in there.  seungmin, meet me by the benches.  we need another plan.
Usually, the best way to crash an event is with minimal attention and no theatrics.  It’s all about pretending you are exactly where you are supposed to be.  If you act like you belong, then you will.
A spectacle is a desperate measure, but you are desperate people.  After a few hushed whispers on a bench, you and Seungmin spring into action.
“Help!”  Seungmin shouts.  “My wife needs help!  Please!”
“Your wife?” you whisper through gritted teeth, opening one eye to look at him.  You are currently laying on the pavement in a dramatic swoon, Seungmin hunched over you.
“My companion of ambiguous relationship is hurt!” he says.  “Ouch,” he adds, because you swat his arm.
Fortunately, he does draw attention.  A few people run over, the beefy security guard one of them.  His nametag reads Changbin and he is in a black t-shirt at least two sizes too small.  You do not begrudge him this, as you would do the same if you had biceps like that.
“What happened?” he asks, crouching down beside Seungmin.
“My friend just passed out,” Seungmin says.  He hoists you into his arms as your tongue lolls out of your mouth.  “Is there somewhere inside I can take her to sit down?  I think all the chaos out here overstimulated her.”
“One second,” Changbin says.  He pulls a walkie-talkie out of a holster.  It buzzes with static as he turns it on.  “Hey, we have a collapsed woman in front of Entry Door B.  Can I have back-up clear a path, and someone with First Aid training?”  The walkie-talkie buzzes again and Changbin puts it away.  He stands up, waving away the small crowd that has gathered.   “Yah, everyone back up!  This is an emergency!”
“It’s really not,” Seungmin says.  He scoops you into a bridal hold then struggles to lift you off the ground. “I just need – whew – somewhere I can – agh – put her down.  I can just – AH! – carry her myself.”
Naturally, it is at that moment a familiar voice descends from above.
A familiar, deep, Australian-accented voice.
“Move aside, please.”
“Oh no,” you say, eyes closed.   You open them just in time for a glitter-faced, freckled, blue-haired pretty boy in a SECURITY windbreaker to cut through the crowd.
Unfortunately, Felix is just as good looking at this angle.  He waves away the gathered onlookers as he approaches, but looks at Changbin first.
“I have First Aid,” he says.  “What happened?”
“I just found her collapsed,” Changbin says.  “Her friend thinks it’s the crowd.  Should we bring her inside?”
Felix looks at you.  The concerned furrow in his brow immediately gives way.
You smile innocently.
“No,” Felix says, frowning.  “We shouldn’t.”
“Oh come on,” you say.  You smack the ground.  “I collapsed!  I need help!”
“No, you need a ticket,” Felix says.  He crosses his arms and stomps a foot.  “Seriously, what is wrong with you?  Some of us have a job to do, you know?”
“Naaaur ya need a ticket, mate,” you say in a mockingly deep chest voice. “Some of us have jobs ya knaaaaur!”
“Do you guys know each other?” Changbin asks, looking between you and Felix – who is growing increasingly red in the face and breathing much harder.
“I have no idea who this guy is,” Seungmin says.
“Ah!”  Felix yells, spinning to Changbin.  “She doesn’t have a ticket!  She’s just trying to sneak in!”
“She doesn’t have a ticket?”  Seungmin asks, gasping.  He drops you onto the concrete, ignoring your yelp of pain.   “But I thought she – she told me we – I – I –“
You watch in betrayed horror as Seungmin pretends to faint, flopping down beside you on the concrete.  You sit up, very tempted to slap him across the face but not wanting to give Felix more reasons to accost you.
“Seungmin,” you say.  You grab him by the shirt and rattle him around like a ragdoll.  “Seungmin, you bastard, don’t even think about it!”
“You.”  Felix stomps up behind you.  “Get off the ground and come with me.”
“No,” you say.  “I don’t want to and you can’t make me.”
You shriek – again – when Felix grabs you under the arms and hoists you to your feet.  He manhandles you with only a modicum of effort, dragging you away from your stupid traitorous best friend.
You step on Felix’s foot deliberately and he swears.  For such a pretty thing, he sure has a filthy mouth.  You grab a fistful of his hair and tug, to which he cusses up a storm and pries your hand off his head.
You hear the distinct buzz of Changbin’s walkie-talkie.
“We have a collapsed man in front of Entry Door B.  Can someone who isn’t going to start fighting the patrons come help me move him?”
“He’s faking it!” you cry in protest, watching Changbin scoop Seungmin off the ground.
Changbin disregards your outburst.  Seungmin gives you a thumbs up behind his back.  Felix, of course, doesn’t see it because he’s too busy dragging you away.  You are left to sputter in bewildered protest at the injustice of it all.
Felix marches you to the sidewalk, far away from the stadium queues.  You are both out of breath by the time you get there.  Even so, you attempt to manoeuvre under his arm to run away.   In a few quick moves, he knocks you onto your ass.
“Holy fuck!”  You are panting now.  A line of sweat dots your hairline.  You wipe at it and stare morosely at this stupidly competent minimum wage security guard.  “What are you, like some kind of karate master or something?”
“Taekwondo, actually,” he says, brushing off his jacket.  Then he tips his head and stares down at you.
You would be lying if you said the intensity of his stare didn’t have your heart racing for an entirely new reason.  Danger and desire have always danced a close dance for your tastes.  Felix is not helping matters, tucking back loose strands of vibrant hair as he looms over you, wetting his bottom lip and staring.
You cross your arms and feign nonchalance, but you can’t look away from him.  When he crouches down slowly to meet you at eye level, everything below the belt goes pitter-patter.
“No ticket,” Felix says slowly.  “No concert.  Do you understand me?”
You stick out your tongue.
“Wow, mature,” he says.  His departing farewell is another snarky eyeroll.  He shakes his head as he stands, muttering to himself in obvious frustration.
So much for not a mean bone in his body.  That bully is all business.
So hot.
You huff and puff for a bit.  Your phone is going berserk in your purse, probably the boys trying to reach you.  Eventually you succumb to the necessary confession of your twice thwarted efforts.  Minho teases that you are losing your touch for real.  It makes angry little fireworks pop out of your ears.
Plenty of occasions you have assessed a situation and deemed it unreasonably complicated, but quitting while you’re ahead is not the same thing as admitting defeat.  You do not lose.  This isn’t even about the concert anymore.  Fuck Hwang Hyunjin, he was never worth the pain of a wax in the first place.  No.  This is about your pride.   This is about your dignity.  This is about your honour.
You are getting into that concert, one way or another.
First, you gather intel.  This comes in the form of snooping, running between queues to figure out the easiest mark.  You don’t judge the guards by their appearances this time, because apparently this security team has secret taekwondo masters hidden in their midst.
You watch their every move, calculating and determining your odds therein.  Based on visual research and Minho’s confirmation, it seems your best bet is the smiling guard who let Minho through.  His nametag reads Jisung and he is a veritable flirt.
Flash him your tits, Minho texts.
Uh, no, I’m not that desperate yet.
Second, with your intel now acquired, you get into the dwindling line.  The sun is almost set and a breezy summer chill dances across your cheeks.  The concert will be starting soon.  You shuffle behind the other stragglers, adjusting your outfit.  The jean shorts hug your hips and flash a nice chunk of thigh, and your shirt is already low cut but you figure another tug won’t hurt.  You also pull your flannel down your arms to look as flirtatious as possible.
Jisung is barely looking at the tickets as he scans them, chatting merrily to the guests as he lets them through.  You pull up a random ticket on your phone, something to hold out while you distract him.
“Hi,” you say.
His eyes flick down to your chest, then back up.  He smiles brightly.
“Hi!” he says.  “You look nice.  Excited for the concert?”
“Oh, absolutely,” you say.  “You have no idea how much I’ve been waiting for this.  It wasn’t easy to get in.”
“I know what you mean,” he says.  “Tickets are hard to come by, and so expensive!”
“Ugh, tell me about it,” you say, leaning in while he scans your phone.   This was a bad idea because he looks down at your chest again, just in time for his little device to flash red.
“Oh, oops!” he says.  He smiles at you as he shakes his device.  “Sorry!” he says.  “I think you showed me the wrong ticket.  Could you pull up the right one?”
“Ohhh!” you say, looking down at your phone with fake surprise.  Life is so unfair.  “I’m so sorry… Jisung.  Hehe, that’s such a nice name.”
“Haha, thanks,” Jisung says.  “My parents picked it, but, yeah, it’s cool.  Anyway.”  He wiggles his device.  “Ticket please!”
You keep smiling and giggling, even as you turn around under the guise of searching through your phone.  You glare down at the stupid device, keeping your back to Jisung while you do so.  How the fuck are you getting out of this?  You flip through screenshots then open your text messenger.  Minho’s last words of wisdom blink up at you.
Apparently, you are that desperate.
With a sigh, you put your phone in your purse and zip it shut.  You shrug your shoulders and plaster that fake smile on your face again.  With a swift of flick of your thumbs, you lift your shirt and bra up over your tits and spin around to look at Jisung.
“How’s this for a ticket—”
Jisung looks surprised and delighted.  Jisung, however, is standing a few feet back.  Probably because he was told to step back.  Probably by Felix who is standing in front of you with his arms crossed and an unimpressed look on his face.
“Wow,” Felix says.  “Just committing crimes now, are we?”
You shove your tits back into your bra indignity, not even embarrassed, just annoyed.
“Tits aren’t a crime,” you say.
“Public indecency is,” he replies.
“You’re… publicly indecent…”  Not your best comeback.  You glare at him while fixing your shirt.  “There’s no way they pay you enough to be riding my ass this hard.”
“They don’t,” Felix says, grabbing your arm.  “Believe me when I say riding your ass has been my pleasure.”
“Twisted fuck,” you reply.
You wave at Jisung as Felix tugs you away.  He waves back but does nothing to rescue you, because all men are traitors.
You groan loudly as Felix leads you away from the stadium yet again.  “Just let me innnnn,” you whine.  “Why do you hate meee.”
“I don’t even know you!” Felix says.  He deposits you on a bench and takes out his phone.
“What are you doing?” you ask, eying the device.
“What do you think I’m doing?” he asks.  “You tried to break into a ticketed event three times.  You faked an injury.  You flashed yourself in a public place—”
“I wouldn’t have done any of that if you just let me through in the first place!”
“You cannot be serious.”  Felix looks ready to rip his hair out.  “You don’t have a ticket!  Why would I let you in, why would I – AH!  Why am I arguing with you!  Be quiet, I’m phoning the police.”
“The po— the police?!  How dare you!” You try to stand but he pushes you onto the bench one-handed.  He holds you there, palm on your shoulder, still way stronger than someone this scrawny should be.
“Fine!” you exclaim.  “Fine!  You win!  I’m sorry, Felix, I was wrong.  I was wrong and you were right.”
Felix pauses.  “Really,” he says, sounding unconvinced.
“Yes!”  You look up at him with the saddest, most watery eyes you can muster.  “I just wanted to see the concert but it was stupid to think I could break in.”
He turns off his screen.  Success.   You watch him slip his phone in his pocket.
“It’s not about being smart or stupid,” he says, the ire gone from his voice.  It takes a lot of willpower not to bite his fingers when he pats your shoulder.  “It’s about the fact we can’t always get what we want,” he says kindly as he crouches in front of you.  His hand goes from your shoulder to your knee, still patting it in a friendly manner.
You bite your tongue because you want to tell him you liked him better when he was being a mean bitch, but that would be counterproductive to your escape attempt.
It turns out, you don’t need to say anything, because he decides to be a bitch again anyway.  Felix looks at you with a too-sweet smile and says, “It’s about time someone taught you that lesson.”
“Um, excuse me?” you say, aghast.  You clasp your hand over your heart.  “Just who do you think you are?  First of all, you taught me nothing, I’m still a horrible bitch and I lied when I said you were right.  Second, you absolutely can get everything you want, you just have to want it enough to get it.  But you wouldn’t know anything about that.  You know why, Felix?”
He rolls his eyes and shakes his head like he expected this, which he probably did, but you’re too far gone to retreat.
You reach out and cup his face in both hands, turning it to you.  Those sharp eyes are unflinching, even with your fingers on his face.  You try really hard not to gulp.
“It’s because you are a good boy,” you say.  “You always do what you’re told.  You always follow the rules.  I bet everyone thinks you’re the nicest guy on the team, don’t they?  I bet they call you cute little nicknames and all the nice little girls think you’re a sweet, innocent baby.  And you are, aren’t you, Felix?  You’re just such a good, good boy.  But me?  I’m not good.  I’m not bad.  I just like to win.  When I want something, I get it, because I chase it, and I don’t stop until I get it.  Until it’s all mine.”  You lean in close.  “Get it?”
His gaze darkens, brows pinching.  You take his fleeting moment of vulnerability to shove him onto his back.  He sprawls on the ground with a surprised yelp.  You sprint away at top speed and flip him off over your shoulder.
It’s a haphazard ploy at best but you are fresh out of plans.  What you need is distance between you and Security Guard of the Year, a breather long enough to come up with a final plan.  Maybe you can physically break in somewhere: an office window, a janitorial stairwell, something.
You keep an eye out for potential openings as you run.
And run.
And run.
Hmm.  You’ve been running a long time.   Even with the head-start, Felix should have caught you by now.  You doubt he would have truly given up.  Felix had a deranged look in his eye, similar to the one you get when someone is trying to beat you at your own game.  He doesn’t want you to win anymore than you want to lose.  You suspect it isn’t about the concert for him either; this is a personal battle.
You come to a gradual stop, hands on your hips as you catch your breath.  It’s quiet on this side of the stadium as the queues were on the opposite end.
Quiet, yes.  Too quiet.
There’s a stairwell that leads to second level just above your head.  Felix is good.  You have to give credit where credit is due.  If you weren’t a scheming nightmare with a penchant for con-artistry, he probably would have caught you.  But without turning around, you know he booked it up the stairs and is two seconds from springing an attack.
You take off running, just in time for him to thump into the grass beside you.  You laugh at his strangled cry of frustration as he scrambles to his feet.
Around the next corner is the parking lot.  You stop a split second to look over your shoulder and see him hot on your heels.   He discarded his jacket and is in a loose sleeveless shirt, revealing he does have some light toning to his lean body.  But you don’t stop to measure how proportionate it is to his strength, because he is focussed on you like a laser.
Then he smiles.  A slow, slinky smile like a cocky predator about to swipe at its prey.  That cat has claws, nasty ones, and you almost want to get tangled in them.  Almost.  You want to win even more.
And he just set you up for success.  There’s a SECURITY jacket on the ground somewhere nearby.  That’s your ticket in.  You just have to lose Felix in the parking lot and loop back around to find where he tossed it.
You spare no time setting that plan into action, giving Felix a smile of your own before you run.  He thunders after you.
The pair of you weave in and out of parked cars.  He disappears for a second behind a row of trucks.  You whip your head around to figure out where he went, only for him to summersault around the corner and cut you off.  You yell instinctively but narrowly dodge his reaching hand.   He curses, running after you with his arm outstretched.   You duck behind a trailer and lose him, scurrying between some SUVs.  You peek at him through the windows, watching him turn in a circle to find where you went.  Smiling to yourself, you quietly but quickly back away.
You leave the lot and run back the way you first came.  You find Felix’s jacket draped on a random bush.
Your heart is practically singing with adrenaline.  Victory is in sight.  You push yourself to run faster and reach out with both hands –
— only to find yourself rolling in the grass, Felix’s arms tight around your middle as he tackles you to the ground.
You push and pull at each other, cursing and scrambling very ungracefully.  You get out of his arms but he climbs on top of you, then you knee him in the gut so he rolls over, but when you start crawling he grabs your ankles and drags you back.
Ultimately, he Taekwondo Masters you onto your front, hands clasped behind your back.  You kick your feet and wail despondently into the grass as he kneels over you, breathing raggedly and swearing again.
“You’re a monster!” you shout.  “You’re a tyrant and a bully and you have no right to – HEY!”
He handcuffs you.
“Ha.”  He leans in close, speaking right into your ear.  “I win.”
“That’s not fair,” you say.  “You can’t just—ahh!”  You wail in petulance as he lifts you onto your feet.  His grip on your bicep is unyielding so you are forced to stomp alongside him as he escorts you…
…back to the sidewalk.
“You’re not busting me?” you ask in confusion.  You thought for sure he was going to drag you into some shady office and plop you in a chair until the police arrived.   He would probably be super boring and professional about it, staring at you with his dumb horny eyes but not doing anything about it.  Nothing sucks more than being all trussed up by a pretty boy with manners.
“I just want you to go and never come back,” Felix says.
“Fine.”  You turn around and hold your arms straight behind you.  “But I’m like a wolf, Felix.  I have your scent for life.”
“Yeah, sure,” he says.  “Not how wolves work by the way.  But fine.”
“Oh wow, sorry.  Didn’t realize you majored in Wolfology.  You got any other fun facts?”
“You are so—”
You smirk at his grumbling.  You are just biding your time until he uncuffs one wrist, then you whip around faster than he can compute the action.  With one cuff still attached, you grab the second and clamp it down on his wrist.  He sputters in bewilderment, at which point you snatch the keys.
“What are you doing—”  He tries to grab them but your joined hands make the angle too awkward.  You spin around together in a few circles, bonk heads twice, until finally you reel back and chuck the keys as far into the distance as possible.
He stands there, mouth agape.  You tap your foot impatiently.
When he realizes what has happened – that you have handcuffed yourself to him and thrown away the keys – he looks at you with fiery eyes, fierce enough you stumble.  He yanks your joined hands, the chain ungiving.  You watch as he goes through several stages of grief in a matter of moments.  Then he closes his eyes and breathes in and out.
“Why,” he says slowly, “did you just do that?”
“I dunno, Felix,” you say.  You plop down on the ground and sit cross-legged.  It forces him to bend over, your cuffed wrist dragging him down.  “Guess we’ll have to go inside and get some back-up keys.  And when I’m in the stadium and you uncuff yourself from me, I promise not to run away.”
“That’s your plan?” he snaps.  “That’s your plan?”
“What, is there an echo out here?”
“That’s your plan?” he asks again, his deep voice pitching up an octave.  He crouches down and shoves his free hand into his hair, shaking his head.  “This can’t be happening,” Felix says, more out loud to himself than you.  “Why is this happening.  Oh my god.”
You squeak when he tugs on the chain, yanking you close, nose to nose.
“What if I just called for back-up?” he asks. “Or skipped that and went right to the police?  How would you get out of that?”
“Wait,” you say.  “Why aren’t you doing that?”
“Because.”
He leans back as far as he can, sitting on his heels.  You duck your head, trying to meet his eye to no avail.  He clenches his jaw.
“Felix,” you say.  “Why aren’t you just calling for back-up?”
“Because,” he says through gritted teeth.  “The handcuffs.  Are.  Not.  Regulation.”
You look at each other.  There is a long moment of silence.
Then, “What!”  You cackle with complete and utter abandon.
A very unamused Felix glares at you while you throw your head back and laugh.
“You?” you cry, poking your finger against his chest.  “You?  You?  You are just walking around with a pair of handcuffs that you aren’t supposed to have?  What the fuuuuuck—”  You think you might die laughing.
“Jisung gave them to me before our shift!” he exclaims.  “It was a joke because— Never mind! I don’t have to explain myself to you!  Hello.  Hello.”  He grabs your chin with his free hand and turns your face roughly to his.   He jingles your joined hands.  “Not regulation,” he says.  “There are no other keys in this building.”
Silence falls again.
Then, “Oh.”  You stare at him.  “Shit.”
A minute later, you and Felix are scuttling around trying to find the key. You must have a very good arm because it landed near the stadium and disappeared in some bushes.
You and Felix keep forgetting your wrists are connected, reaching in opposite directions only to snap back together.  You are certain you are going to end the night with a few bumps and bruises.
The entire time you are searching for the key, Felix is grumbling irritably.  He tears his way through a bush, his deep voice pitching up with a miserable whine when he can’t find it.
“This is so stupid,” he says.  He throws a stick at the wall.  “I am a good worker.  I never break the rules.  I am not getting in trouble for this. You did this.  You did this to me.”
On he goes, grumble, grumble, grumble, bitch, bitch, bitch.
“It’s not like the key disappeared,” you say, pushing some pebbles around.  “It has to be here somewhere.”
It is starting to get dark, the sky a deep purple.  The stadium lights blare down on you.  Felix uses his phone flashlight to beam extra light at the ground.  The only time he stops grumbling is when the noise in the stadium changes, the concert clearly beginning.  He takes time out of his busy searching schedule to give you a mean smile.
“When we find those keys,” you say, “I’m handcuffing you to that railing over there and leaving you to freeze to death in your stupid tank top.”
“It’s not a tank top,” he says.  “It’s a t-shirt.  I cut the sleeves off.  And when we find those keys, I’m handcuffing you to that railing over there and phoning the police.”
“Well then,” you say, “may the best key finder in a slutty tank top win.”
“It’s not a tank top.”
You continue to search.  It is utterly illogical that the keys would just vanish but the longer it takes, the more concerned you get.   It just doesn’t make sense!  Things don’t just disappear!  The keys landed somewhere over here, so they have to be…
You see it first.  You sit there in a stunned stupor.  You swat at Felix with your cuffed hand.
“What?” he says without looking at you.  You continue to slap him until he forces your hand down, tangling your fingers with his.  “What!”
You point.  He crowds in behind you to look over your shoulder.  You feel him exhale.
“Please don’t tell me…”
You both lean to look down the sewer drain.  He flashes his phone light over it.  Something silver glints back in the darkness.
“Fuck!” Felix says.  He doesn’t stop there.  What follows is a string of cusses so unbelievably foul and complex that you honestly believe it should quality him for Pulitzer in poetry.  When he has exhausted every expletive in several different languages, he plops down on his ass and stares up at the sky with mute despondency.
“So what happens now?” you ask.  “Do we fuck?”
“What?”  He looks at you with utter bewilderment.  “What the fuck?  Why would you suggest that?  What would that solve?”
“Nothing,” you say.  “But it would kill the time and couldn’t make things worse.”
“You are insane,” he says.  “I am handcuffed to an insane person.”
“Hey, ‘mate’, you were the one with the non-regulation handcuffs in the first place.  I could solve this problem real quick by phoning the authorities myself and saying some crazy guy put me in cuffs.”
“I dare you,” he says.  “Try.”
“No,” you say.  And not just because you have a record with the police and they would never take your side.  But Felix doesn’t need to know that.  Well, you suspect Felix is smart enough to guess it, but he doesn’t need the confirmation.  “I’d rather make you suffer,” you say instead.  You sit back in an insouciant slouch like the whole circumstance is beneath your attention.  “Figure it out, pretty boy.”
“Well,” he says, “apparently if you break your wrists then you can force them through the cuffs.”
“Ew!” You push him in the middle of his chest.  He doesn’t fall, but he does glare at you.  “We’re not doing that!  What a stupid plan!  You’ve been guzzling the hair dye fumes, buddy.  Think of a plan that doesn’t involve injury, thank you.”
“I didn’t want to do this,” Felix says with another put-upon sigh, “but fine.  I have another pair at home so the keys—”
“Wait,” you interrupt.  “I thought someone gave you the cuffs today?  Why do you have another key at home?”
“I have another pair,” he repeats, “of the same handcuffs.”
“You—”
“Already own a pair, yes, move on.”  He aggressively pushes hair out of his eyes.  “He clearly bought it from the same place so my key should work for this one too.”
“So despite your uppity school boy routine, you do own non-regulation handcuffs and not just as a joke.  Wow, Felix.”  You giggle helplessly.  “Be careful or I might start to like you.”
He is glaring at you, no surprise, but the tips of his ears blush pink.
“Let’s just go,” Felix says.  “The sooner I get you off, the sooner I can forget about your existence.”
“You can get me off as fast or slow as you like—ahh!”
Once more, the secret superman is manhandling you onto your feet.  Without pausing for breath, he turns and marches away.  You are forced to stumble behind his swift strides, your hands swinging close enough that your fingertips brush every so often.
“How do I know you’re not gonna murder me?” you ask.
“You don’t,” he replies.
“How do you know I’m not gonna murder you?”
“I don’t.”  He sounds more annoyed than afraid.  “But it sounds better than being cuffed to you forever.  I’ll take my chances.  Come on.”
“Not like I have a choice,” you grumble.
He comes to an abrupt halt and you crash into him with a sharp exhale.  He grabs your hand and tugs you close. You blink at him with surprise while he tips his head in that studious way.
“You’re right,” he says. “You don’t.  In fact, it’s almost nice, you forced to finally do what I’m asking.  If you’re not careful, it might even make me like you.”
It is so cold and sarcastic.
It gets you so hot.
Seriously, what is with your stupid brain?  How does it cross the wires of fear and desire like that?  Felix is speaking at you with that deep, dark, nasty voice of his and your heart should be skipping beats in concern, not because you think he’s sexy when he’s being a bitch.
You hide it from him well enough, glaring at him like he glared at you.  He just snorts and shakes his head.
“What?” you ask.
“Interesting,” he replies.  “Very interesting.”
“What?”
“Nothing.”  He smiles politely, for a moment looking like the unassuming pretty boy you thought he was.  He bats his long eyelashes at you, smiles a coy smile, and squeezes your hand.   “Come on,” he says.  “We tried this your way and it got us in trouble.  Time to be a good girl and do it my way.  No, stop, don’t say anything.  Be quiet.  Just walk.  Let’s go.”
You stumble when he tugs you after him.  Your mouth is hanging open yet again.
You are proud to say that in your many years of bad girl shenanigans, you have never truly met your match.  You’ve played pretend a few times, let a couple losers think they won, if only because you liked the game of it.  But no one has ever really taken control.  No one has ever really beat you.  No one has ever come close.
No one.  Until today.
You glare at the back of Felix’s head, brain stampeding as fast as your heart.   Because finally, you’ve found him, your perfect match.  Lashed to you through the metal manifestation of fate’s red string.
You didn’t know what game you were playing before, but now you do.
And you’re going to win.

SKZ reaction to their asexual gf's sleeping habit
Tumblr media
SKZ reaction to their asexual gf sleeping in only a bra and pajama/sweatpants.
Wordcount ≈ 700
Warnings: Slight doubt/anxiety,
Thank you for the request! I feel like I didn’t write this one that well, but I hope you still enjoy it.
Please reblog!
Tumblr media
Bang Chan
The dude sleeps almost naked. He wouldn’t care. If his partner wants to sleep completely naked, go ahead, if his partner wants to sleep in winter-overalls, he might wonder how you don’t die of heatstroke but go ahead. No matter what his partner sleeps in, he would be okay with it, all he cares about is his partner being comfortable. So, if being comfortable for his asexual girlfriend means sleeping in a bra and sweatpants he would be happy and it isn’t sexual in the slightest, he might admire his partner's body but he will never do anything that would make his partner uncomfortable.
Lee Know
At most, he’ll make a comment about your arms feeling cold if you sleep without a shirt. Other than that, like Chan. Minho just wants you to be comfortable, so once again, he couldn’t care less what you decide to sleep in. Sometimes, when he’s feeling mischievous, he’s gonna try to tickle you because you have “given him easy access”. Minho really just finds ways to tease you in his loving ways rather than anything sexual.
Seo Changbin
More than anything, Changbin will want to compare his biceps to yours. “Come on, let’s see who’s got the best biceps” Followed by him flexing his muscles a ton while giggling. He does this, every night. He really just wants you to compliment his muscles. Another one who doesn’t care what you sleep in, he respects you being asexual and wouldn’t want to do anything that makes you uncomfortable. While he thinks you look incredible and sexy, what he loves most about you are the moments you both just act like clowns together.
Hwang Hyunjin
Drama king. Overdramatic. The first time the two of you were sleeping in the same room, was a fun experience. Hyunjin had just brushed his teeth and came out of the bathroom to find you sitting on the bed, phone in hand, grey sweatpants, and a black sports bra. “WAH! My eyes!” Hyunjin exclaimed loudly. First, you thought he was uncomfortable seeing you like this, thinking that maybe he would only like it if his partner wasn’t asexual. In reality, his reaction was just positive. “I didn’t know an angel would be here,” “You look really good like this, would you be comfortable modeling like this for me some time so I can draw it?” Yeah, he only saw the potential for the drawings he could make and how beautiful you looked.
Han Jisung & Lee Felix
Personally, I think they would have very similar reactions. “Are you sure you won’t be cold? Would it be more comfortable for you to borrow one of my t-shirts instead of your bra? Would it be more comfortable without the bra? If so, I promise not to touch or even look? I just want you to be comfortable. Can I still hug you? Cuddle?” They would be mostly worried about your comfort and whether or not they could still cuddle you.
Kim Seungmin
“Where did you buy those pants? Do you know if they’d have similar once that would fit me? They look comfortable,” Seungmin’s largest concern would be you not getting too cold so that you become sick. If you wanted to sleep in a bra and sweatpants, be his guest just make sure you don’t fall sick. He’ll want those sweatpants though, they look warm and nice. Good for winter, he’d think.
Yang Jeongin
He would raid your closet, looking at different sweat- & pajama- pants and different bras. “Hmm, this bra goes well with these three pants, while this one goes best with these pants,” He was making sure even your sleep outfit was fashionable. Once he first found out that you liked sleeping in a bra and sweatpants, you were wearing a brown bra and grey sweatpants which, according to Jeongin, wasn’t a good match, hence, why he was going through all your clothes letting you know which bra to pair with which pair of pants. Not a single sexual thought passed his brain, nope it’s all fashion in there.

Imagine being the 9th member of Stray Kids and the youngest because you’re in middle school.
But you get told that you're too loud and clingy so you close yourself away
A warning of angst and like self doubt tell me if I need to add more!
Fans would expect you to be so full of energy and talkative and clingy because you’re a kid, maybe you’re just a quiet kid?
But no, the only reason you don’t talk a lot unless asked questions is because you’ve been told by many people in your personal life that you were just loud and to ‘tone yourself down’. You’ve been told that your clinginess was annoying by those same people. You wanted to leave a good impression on your bandmates, so you’d stay quiet and tried staying independent and not cling to them even when you were nervous or scared.
You got scared that if you became ‘loud’ and ‘clingy’ with them like the people in your personal life they’d be bothered by it. But they weren’t, one day in an interview with just you the interviewer asked about your quietness and distance with the members.
“I got told a lot by people that I was loud and was really clingy and that it was annoying how I wanted to hold hands with someone or hug them for no reason all the time just because I wanted to.” You answered and laughed at yourself a bit. “So then I thought, ‘I really am annoying’ and I’m gonna be in a band with people that are older than me so I wanted to leave a good impression and not seem annoying to them or bother them because of how talkative and clingy I was.” You breathed out and looked down at your lap. “And it’s hard at times because I get really lonely sometimes because im trying to be independent and I don’t really want to bother any of them just because I wanted someone to talk to or cuddle with y’know? They’re the only people I have besides my family and I just struggle with showing them without thinking I’m going overboard.” You sighed after getting a bit off your chest.
The interviewer was baffled because they're so fond of you and talk so much about you that you could never annoy them but moved on, but you missed one detail.
It was going to get to one of the members.
You walked back into the dorm and sighed after the long day and walked to your room to change into a pair of shorts that were just cut sweatpants and a random shirt before going on your phone when you started seeing edits of your recent interview. Your stomach dropped, the members were going to hear about it!
You heard the click of a door and multiple footsteps shuffle in with the sound of bags land on the kitchen counter when Chan shouted "Y/n, are you home?" He asked as you answered back with a yes and walked out your room to greet them.
They had come back from feeding some ducks that were at a pond nearby and they brought dinner back with them. "I heard that you're interview from a few days ago got posted, do you want me to put it on?" Felix asked and looked back at you as he was standing Infront of the TV with the remote in his hand while you were facing away at the counter.
You paused the slightest bit before shrugging. "Whatever you want is fine." You answered in the same quiet tone that you always have around them. Lee Know kept his eyes on you for a bit before going to grab plates.
"Put it on! Y/n looked so cute that time." Han decided as he pinched your cheek.
You sat down on the couch with the others but made sure to keep yourself at the end and quietly ate while the others laughed at the jokes made during the interview.
Then the part where you kind of trailed off was coming up and you abruptly stood up. "I'm full. Thanks for the food." You said quietly "But you just started eating. Do you want to save it for later if you get hungry?" Changbin asked as some of them turned their attention to you while the others kept their eyes on the screen.
"I'll put it in the fridge to heat up later." You answered before walking away as you heard the interviewer ask "So Y/n, it's not hard to notice that you're distant with the members despite knowing them since before debut, is there a reason for that?"
'Just run to your room before they notice.' You thought as you heard your voice finishing up where you trailed off and the interviewer stuttering a bit before asking the next question.
Just run before they ask and they'll eventually forget to ask.
But there was no where to run when Chan and Lee know were blocking your only exit from the kitchen. "Come sit on the couch with us." Chan said as he gently placed a hand on your back and guided you to the couch where the others sat with the video played back and paused on the previous question the interviewer asked.
You were sat between Felix and Seungmin as Felix swung an arm around your shoulder and had you lay your head on his chest while Seungmin wrapped his arms around your torso and rested his head on your shoulder.
Han and Jeongin laid their heads against your legs while the others stood Infront of you.
"Okay, we've been wanting to make a few things clear for a while now regarding you." Chan started as he stood Infront of you with the others.
"You're not in trouble or anything." Lee Know added
"Just know that just because others consider you clingy doesn't mean that we do, and we don't care if you're talkative too. It doesn't even matter if you're a kid or not, you are a member of this band and we want you to be comfortable and not silence yourself because of what some people said." Hyunjin reassured you as you fiddled with your fingers.
"But you'll get annoyed with me like everyone el-" "But we aren't everyone else." Felix cut you off and moved his hand to stroke your hair "We are your family here.” He whispered
“You’re not lonely here, it’s okay to depend on one of us once in a while.” Jeongin spoke up as he looked up at you with a small smile. “You’re still young and you’re you, who cares about what those people said anyway.” Seungmin huffed before squeezing your cheek. “Go grab your food and sit at the table. We’re gonna get to know you, okay?” Han asked as you sat still for a bit before running to the kitchen to grab your food and sit at the table with everyone else as they asked you various things and went over memories.
Over time you were able to come out of your shell with them and fell into open arms as they returned your hugs and listened to you whenever you felt like saying anything even if it was about you whispering that you wanted to throw your skzoo character at the camera during a vlive.
Chan would often invite you when he did his Chans room episodes and they’d mostly end up with you two having your skzoo characters box each other and the loser would have to eat spicy noodles.
Lee know would call you the name of one of this three cats based on what color your hair was dyed and if didn’t match any of his cats he’d call you by the name of your skzoo character. He also has a habit of carrying a brush with him so he could comb your hair if it looked messy.
Changbin would take you to the gym with him and have you count for him and keep him company and when he’s done he’d take you to get a snack and fight over which seat you two would take on the couch before watching a movie
Hyunjin would have you help him decide what to draw or paint when he can’t decide and sometimes would let you chill with him while he did or you two would brainstorm over what he could do next. Sometimes you’d doodle on his sketch pad and he’d add details and he’d hang it either on the fridge or in his room.
Han would share bites of his cheesecake with you or if you bring back cheesecake for him you both would share it and would see who could take the biggest bite and he’d poke your cheeks while they puffed up, you both had a contest of who had the puffiest cheeks and it was left at a tie.
Felix would help you bake things that you’d find at the store and sometimes as a surprise you’d bake something and you'd find a way to get ice cream inside or serve it on the side. And sometimes to mess with him you'd try to bake BbokAri for dinner and in return he'd hit you with your own character.
Seungmin and you like to go out when it becomes fall you two would sit outside in some sweaters and just chill until you two see some stray dogs walk by and then you two run to see who can pet it first.
Jeongin and you would genuinely just bond as the youngest of the group with similarities and you’d mostly follow him around the most out of all of the members and most of the times you two can be seen hiding in a corner gossiping about random things.

Chapter 6

Bang Chan
There were days when I actually wanted to sit down and get to know Aria and days when I just wanted to shut that little mouth of hers. This whole thing was a complete bad idea and I regret it.
My hand was holding a glass of whiskey, swirling it around, the other hand rubbing off the throbbing headache forming in the front of my head. One day I'm gonna get my brain fall out of my skull at the way my head hurts because of a certain brunette.
I called the guys over to my place to watch the new game, we were all in the living room, but neither of us were focused on the match going on the TV.
"Where's your pretty wife?" Hyunjin asked as he popped an olive into his mouth from the charcuterie board Deliah prepared for us. The sound of the word "wife" sent another sharp pain to the back of my head.
"He's trying to get through the glories of marriage Hyunjin. Let him be" Bin said slapping my shoulder as he poured himself a glass of whiskey. "Although where is she? Is she okay with you having us here?"
I turned to him with a what the fuck looked spread across my face. "Why wouldn't she be? It's my house" I said, trying to keep my voice low and cool.
"Dude" Han looked at me with that same face I looked at Bin with, an eyebrow arched and shook his head pulling out his phone. "You really don't get it, do you?"
"Get what?" I asked, swirling the whiskey in my glass again, the liquid catching the light and glinting warmly. The throbbing in my head seemed to intensify with each passing second.
"That marriage isn't just about contracts and houses," Felix chimed in from across, his blue hair outshining the room and his Australian accent making the words sound almost musical. "It's about partnership. Even if this whole thing is a sham, you should at least pretend to respect her."
"Respect is a two-way street," I muttered, more to myself than to anyone else. I downed the rest of my whiskey and set the glass on the table with a heavy thud.
"You're sounding like a cliché," Seungmin said, his eyes never leaving the TV screen, but I could tell he was listening intently. "The brooding husband who doesn't know how to communicate." His comment earned laughter from almost everyone except me.
"Funny, Seungmin" I sighed, rubbing my temples. "You guys don't understand. This whole situation is fucking messed up. We were almost forced into this. It's not like I wanted any of this."
Bin leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. "Maybe not, but you're in it now. And if you want to make it through the next 300 whatever days without losing your fucking mind, maybe try talking to her. Really talking."
"Yeah," I.N added, looking up from the game. "Just because you didn't choose this doesn't mean you can't make the best of it. You're stuck together for a year, might as well not make it a living hell for both of you."
I frowned, swirling the whiskey glass again even though it was empty. "It's not that simple. She's... difficult."
"Sounds like she's a reflection of you," Lee Know said, a smirk playing on his lips. "Ever thought about that? Maybe you two are more alike than you care to admit."
I glared at him, but his words hit like a punch to my gut. Maybe we were more alike. Both trapped in a situation neither of us wanted, both struggling to find a way to cope. The thought made my headache worse.
"Look," Han said, putting his phone down and finally turning to face me. "We're your friends, and we're here for you. But you need to figure this out. You can't just drink and avoid it."
"I know," I admitted, feeling a weight settle in my chest. "I just... I don't know where to start."
"Start by being honest," Hyunjin suggested, popping another olive into his mouth. "With yourself and with her."
"Yeah," Felix nodded. "And maybe lay off the whiskey a bit. It won't solve anything."
"Yeah you really should cut the whiskey. You'll probably make the company a trillionare, seeing the rate you've been drinking ever since you returned from Europe" Bin added, his tone half-joking but his eyes serious.
I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "It's not like I have many other ways to deal with this crap."
"Dealing with it and avoiding it are two different things Chan." Han pointed out snapping his fingers, his gaze steady on me. You know he's being serious when he calls me Chan instead of Chris.
"Drinking yourself into a stupor isn't going to make any of this go away."
"Agreed," Hyunjin said. "Maybe try talking to her sober. You might be surprised."
"At this point all of you are calling me a drunkard"
"We are" all 7 of them said at sync, looking at me at the same time, my eyes widening at their unified response.
Lee Know leaned back, his expression thoughtful. "Why don't you try to find something you can both agree on. A hobby, a project or something to focus on together. It might help bridge the gap."
"Sounds like a lot of effort," I muttered, though their words were starting to sink in.
"Anything worth having usually is," I.N said simply.
"You just have to decide if it's worth it to you." Since when did the baby of our group become a love expert?
"Okay. Okay fine! I'll deal with this hell" I put my hands up in surrender, "But do not expect any miracles or whatever" I said pointing at them.
"Nobody's expecting miracles Chris" Felix said with a grin. "Just a little less whiskey and more effort."
"And when you need to get your shit together without having to drown yourself with alcohol, you've got us" Seungmin added, his eyes focused on the TV, I couldn't help but chuckle at that.
"But just so you know, I'm still not giving up whiskey completely."
"Just cut back," Bin said with a grin. "Baby steps, man. Baby steps."
As we settled in finally paying attention to the game, my attention was distracted by the sound of footsteps descending. I turned to the stairs, and there was Aria, coming down gracefully, her hair up in messy bun and wearing sweats.
Her expression a mix of curiosity and hesitation, she paused at the bottom of the stairs, clearly surprised to see the living room full of my friends. Her eyes met mine, for some reason my breathing increased, suddenly I felt something clench my chest.
Hyunjin caught my gaze and smirked knowingly. "Hello there," he got off the couch and walked towards her, realization hitting me that I never really introduced them to her properly.
Her gaze caught Hyunjin's, she smiled warmly at him, he offered his hand to her, "Hi, I'm Hyunjin" he returned her smile, shaking her hand. Somehow that small gesture of her hand touching his made a feeling I never felt before crawl over me.
"Hi, I'm Aria," she replied, her voice soft yet confident. "Guys, we have new company" Hyunjin gestured her towards us, nodding his head at her to which she replied nodding back smiling, that piercing feeling sinking again in my chest.
What is this annoying sting?!
Before I made a fool of myself infront of my friends and my wife, I got off the couch and walked to her, she paused when I got in front of her. I moved to her side, placing my hand on the small of her back. She shivered slightly, only visible to my eyes, Hyunjin smirked mischievously at me before he went and sat on the couch, I walked with Aria towards my friends.
"You guys, uh" I rubbed the back of my neck. I was behaving like a fucking high schooler introducing his new girlfriend to his friends, it was embarrassing.
"This is my wife Aria" She looked up at me as I said that, I caught her gaze on me from the corner of my eye.
"Aria," I smiled at her, trying to hide the embarrassment behind my face, feeling the teasing chuckles of the guys, "These are my friends" I introduced her to all of them one by one.
"It's nice to meet you" She smiled, genuinely pleased and enjoying the company.
"Would you like to join the madness? We really could use some luck. We're losing pretty bad" Felix said, his strong Australian accent making Aria smile wider.
"I'd love to," she replied, her voice light and friendly.
I guided her to an empty spot on the couch next to me, feeling a mix of relief and anxiety. As she settled in, I could feel the guys' eyes on us, their curiosity palpable. Han and Lee Know looked at eachother smiling to themselves, I flashed a glare at them which made them burst out laughing.
As we all settled down again to pay attention to the game, more groans and about 40 minutes later, we screamed out loud as the player kicked the ball into the goal smoothly.
"LET'S GOOOOO!!!" The living room erupted into a chorus of cheers and high-fives. The energy was infectious, and for a moment, all my anxieties melted away in the shared excitement. Even Aria was caught up in the moment, her eyes shining with delight as she joined in the celebration, clapping her hands and covering her mouth as she laughed.
Han and Lee Know, still chuckling from my earlier glare, were the loudest among us, their voices carrying over the rest. They exchanged a quick fist bump, their camaraderie evident. I couldn't help but smile at the scene unfolding around me.
"That was insane!" Felix said, smiling infectiously. "Aria, you really did bring us the luck" He said to her, her cheeks flushed pink so easily at the simplest compliment.
"I really didn't," she chuckled, "It was definitely a coincidence" She covered her mouth again as she laughed, that gesture pulled an unusal curiosity from me.
As the game continued, the tension ebbed and flowed, punctuated by moments of collective joy or frustration. We leaned forward in unison, held our breath together, and let out synchronized sighs of relief. During a particularly intense moment, I felt her hand brush against mine.
It was a small, fleeting touch, but it sent a jolt of electricity through me. I glanced over at her, and she met my eyes with a shy smile before quickly looking back at the screen.
"Focus on the game hubby" Bin teased from across the room, having noticed the exchange. I rolled my eyes, I tried my hardest to surpress the smile that tugged at my lips.
"Shut up Bin," I shot back, earning another round of laughter from the group, including a soft smile from her.
After the game ended, the guys engaged in conversations with Aria, especially Felix and Hyunjin. I watched her, leaning back on the couch on the other side, with a new glass of whiskey.
The way her hands come up to her mouth when she laughd, how her lips move with every word and how her eyes sparkle when she is talking about something that has her full interest, somehow, all of that fascinated me.
Felix, ever the charmer, had her laughing in no time. His quick wit and easygoing nature made him an instant favorite. Hyunjin, on the other hand, was more intense, asking her thoughtful questions and listening intently to her responses. She seemed to thrive in their company, her confidence growing with every passing minute.
I took a sip of my drink, savoring the warmth that spread through me. It wasn't just the whiskey; it was the sight of her fitting in so seamlessly with my friends. A part of me had worried that she might feel out of place, but those fears were quickly dispelled. But another part of me hated how easily my friends could speak to her than I could.
I felt that same pang of stinging pain I felt before, the feeling I never felt before mixed with admiration. They made it look so easy. I watched as she engaged with them, her eyes lighting up with every new story or joke. She seemed genuinely happy, and I shook my head turning away, trying to hide the small smile forming in the corner of my lips.
But as the evening wore on, I couldn't shake the frustration. I wanted to be the one making her laugh, to see her smile, watch her eyes trap an entire galaxy, drawing out those little gestures and expressions that had become so familiar yet so elusive to me in this setting.
"Bro?" Seungmin's voice broke through my thoughts. He sat down beside me, a knowing smile on his face, "You good?"
"Yeah," I replied, though the uncertainty in my voice betrayed me. "Just... watching."
"She fits in well," he observed, following my gaze. "Hmm" I hummed as I continued to watch her.
And for a brief moment her eyes caught mine, in that instant, everything around me faded, the only person remaining was her. She played a soft smile before breaking the contact and turning to Han. She spoke to everyone equally, everyone except me, that god damn sting just kept rising and falling in my chest.
I took another sip from my glass, trying to focus on the warmth it provided, but it was a poor distraction. The more I watched her, the more the sting of being left out by my own friends and wife gnawed at me. The guys could draw her into conversation so effortlessly, while I was left on the sidelines, battling my own hesitation.
"You'll feel easier to talk to her once we leave" Seungmin said as he tapped my shoulder and grabbed his keys from the coffe table.
"Well Aria, it was amazing meeting you but I have work to catch up with, so I'll see you soon" He said, looking at her and also giving a sign to the guys that it was time for me to be alone with her.
I swear to God I feel set up in my own marriage by own friends.
One by one, the guys started making their excuses, gathering their things, and heading out. Felix gave me a thumbs-up, and Hyunjin offered a supportive smile. Han and Lee Know were the last to leave, each patting me on the back.
I made plans to catch up with Bin and I.N at the gym during the weekend and soon, it was just me and Aria alone in my living room.
Sooner or later we have to have a proper conversation and it seemed like it's happening sooner than I wanted.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
When your boyfriend said he was going on a world tour, you did not think it was going to last for nearly an entire year. JYP better give them a break after this.
Dating Felix was a handful. He was always busy and his schedule was packed, you both were travelling constantly, having a home in Sydney and in Seoul. With the tour on his hands as well, it didn’t make it any easier. You saw all the edits of him flooding the internet, all of them reminding you of how much you missed your boyfriend.
So when you were told he was going to Australia, and you were conveniently going to be there at the same time as his concert, you had your fingers crossed you could get tickets. You didn’t care if you were in the pit or in the nosebleeds; you were happy to even be in the same room as him for a little while, even if you had to admire him from afar.
You texted him and called him as much as you could. Whenever your phone rang, you always assumed he was on a break or had free time, knowing that it probably meant the rest of the day was full of work. The amount of people that love him reminds you of how lucky you are to have such a handsome guy who seems so out of reach be your boyfriend.
Things weren’t kept secret for long. When you visited Felix one time, he forgot he was live, saying your name and three forbidden words out loud and straight to the camera: I love you. You never showed your face that live, your hand merely waving hello. It wasn’t until you left the room that both of you had realized what he’d done.
You came into his room after he finished his live, putting his phone away. “What the fuck did you do.” You say, more of a statement rather than a question. “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to– it just slipped out!”
“If I knew you were going live, I wouldn’t have come. You slip up easily whenever I’m around.”
“That’s because I love you. And that’s also exactly why I didn’t tell you because I wanted to see you.”
You pace around the room, panicking. “JYP’s gonna kill us. He’s gonna kill you. Your fans are gonna come and kill me!”
“He already knows.”
“What do you mean, ‘he knows’?”
“Chan accidentally ran his mouth. If anything, you wouldn’t be in my room right now if JYP forced me to break up with you. He just told me to be careful… and I do. Ever since we started dating, I’ve been careful.” He sighs, setting his phone down and walking up to you. “I’m sorry. I… you can stay here for a few days if you’re too scared to go outside.”
He knew that people could find what you look like and all your other information with a mere search of your name. This wasn’t the same as other people knowing who his sisters were. Him getting into a dating scandal would jeopardize your safety and his group. He didn’t care about his group at the moment, he was scared for you.
“I… I’d like that, actually. I hope you don’t mind.”
“I assume that means you don’t mind sharing a bed? Unless you want me to sleep on the floor.”
“You really think I want you to sleep on the floor after the amount of time we’ve been apart?” Your response makes him smile, pressing a kiss to your forehead and pulling you in for a hug, his hand caressing the top of your head. “I’m really sorry. I know I messed up. And I’m sorry I can’t be there for you all the time.”
“I know. It’s okay. You’re doing your best, and that’s enough. I know you’re working hard and you’re busy. But… I’m hoping we can still try to enjoy ourselves for the time being.”
He pulls away to look at your face, being confused about your sudden switch up.
“Yes, I’m scared, yes, my life is probably going to be in danger at some point, but I did not come to see you just to worry about this and our relationship going public. It’s out there now, and there’s nothing we can do about it. I know I was panicking about it a few seconds ago, but I’ve come to terms that it happened already. I forgive you. And honestly, I’m glad that you’re that comfortable with me to say it in front of thousands of people.”
“I’m sorry–“
“You’ve apologized enough. It’s okay now.” You cut him off, going onto your tip toes to kiss his nose. “Can we order something? I’m hungry.”
“You didn’t think of doing that before my live ended?”
“I was gonna ask you, but I felt I intruded already.”
After that whole fiasco, people found your social media accounts, some of them even following you, flooding your comments with nothing but sentences that had the name Felix in it at least once. You got a few death threats even, but you tried to not let it get to you too much. It made you a bit paranoid, but the more you went out, the more you forgot about them.
Articles were written; Tiktoks and edits took over your feed about the ‘mystery girl’ or ‘Y/N’ behind the camera that gave Felix heart eyes whenever he looked at you. Eventually, they found out what you looked like, and though you were expecting insults, you were instead given compliments.
Pretty, adorable, beautiful… words that made you feel comfortable to be a part of Felix’s life publicly. He never brought it up during conversations or interviews unless another person did, which, he was very cautious with what he was saying.
You had your fair share of hate. It bothered you a little bit, but then remembered the only reason they hated you was that you had something they didn’t: Felix. His love and affection, his admiration and attention. It boosted your ego unhealthily, but you weren’t gonna get all full of yourself over it.
He wasn’t necessarily open about his relationship. He wouldn’t bring up the topic himself; usually someone else would have to. He would answer any questions, but there was always a limit to them. He was all nice about it though, always asking you after if what he said was okay to share with others.
“‘How’s Y/N?’ She’s good. She’s actually visiting, so I hope I’m not too loud.”
“‘How did you two meet?’ She does camerawork and paid us a visit, shadowing someone else. She always came along for a few shoots in a row, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity so I just asked when no one was looking.”
“You wanna see her? She’s not too comfortable on camera, so I don’t think–“
“Felix, do you want this?”
You look at his tripod set up, then his surprised expression, as if he’d seen a ghost. “What’s wrong? Am I interrupting?”
“Nothing. What is that?”
“It’s a grilled cheese. I put the last of your gochujang in the butter.”
“Ah, thanks, we needed to get rid of it somehow.” You eye the camera. “Your face isn’t showing.” He clarifies, allowing you to walk into frame, letting him take a bite of the sandwich. His eyes light up, enthusiastically nodding. “It’s good!”
“Do you want it? I’ll make another one for myself.” He nods, taking the plate from you. “Thank you!” He says, mouth full as you walk out the door. “Look at this, guys. You guys summoned her, now I get good food.” He bites into it again, visibly enjoying the simple sandwich you made. “I love my girlfriend.”
The clip went viral. It’s now one of Felix’s iconic moments, and the first of your own.
You two were certainly romantic, private and in public. On the occasion you’d post photos of the two of you together, and you were also open about it if you were to do lives together. You weren’t in every live, but he invited you once and it was fun, so you were open to other opportunities.
You kept your hood on, which hid your face a bit well enough on camera.
“Y/N, what are we making?”
“Rose tteokbokki.”
“If you don’t know already, my girlfriend is an amazing cook and she gives me food sometimes during some of my other lives.”
“Then Felix makes brownies after and it’s a full meal.”
He notices your amount of clothing, greater than his. “Why are you wearing your hoodie? Is it not warm?”
“I’m hiding myself, I’m scared.”
“There’s nothing to be afraid of when you’re so pretty.”
“I cannot believe you’re flirting with me in front of over a hundred thousand people.”
“They deserve to know.”
His hand rests atop your head, his fingers gently gripping the hood. You let him take it off, fixing your hair right after. “Isn’t she pretty?” He shows you off to the camera before you hide your face in his chest.
You sat in an innocent little bubble tea shop, scrolling on your phone when you get a call from him unexpectedly. “Hello?” You greet, sipping on your drink. “Y/N, do you wanna come backstage after the concert? Feels like it’s been forever since I’ve last seen you.”
“Probably because it has. Can you really do that?”
“Chan’s parents and siblings are coming, and they’re going backstage, my sisters are coming too.”
“I mean, I’d like to, if it’s possible.”
He chuckles. “I’ll see you there.”
“Love you.”
There’s a brief pause, and you think about hanging up.
“Love you too.” He mutters, ending the call. It wasn’t very ‘professional’ of him to be calling his girlfriend when he should have been out there practicing, but he’s been kept from you long enough. He just couldn’t help himself.
And besides, he’d do anything for you.
As if it were a coincidence, it turned out you were sitting next to Hannah, who greeted you with a hug when she saw you sit down in the seat beside hers. Now you were sitting in your nosebleed seat, eagerly leaning forward to stare at the screen, the sudden random play dance coming on.
From your knowledge, a camera would focus on a certain fan in the audience, mostly in the further back, said fan having to follow one of the boy group’s dances. This would usually come on mid performance, meaning the members would be watching as well.
You’re so engaged staring at the screen, excited to see who’s on next that you don’t realize that it’s you. “Y/N!” Chan says, looking over at Felix. The choreography for God’s Menu begins to play as Hannah forces you up onto your feet, cheering you on.
You hand her your lightstick and place your bag down, forcing yourself to get over it and just do the dance for the few seconds you’re on screen. In your opinion, you did pretty well, judging from the screams that erupted from every inch of the room. You do the ending fairy, leaning against the railing again with a hand under your chin, sending a wink and a flying kiss across the arena. You immediately get shy, hiding your face in Hannah’s shoulder.
“Wow.” Felix starts, feeling Chan pat his back. “That’s my girlfriend, everyone.” He points in your direction, the arena flooded with screams as Felix’s ears and face slowly go red on the screen. You feel your own face heat up as you cover it, Hannah shaking you uncontrollably. “He’s blushing!” Han teases, pointing at your boyfriend’s crimson face. “C’mon, man, say something to her!” Chan says, ushering him closer to the edge of the stage.
“Y/N, I love you!” He holds a finger heart up, sending a flying kiss back to you. Your face goes warm at his bold move, yet you feel pride that he’s comfortable to do that openly in an arena full of his screaming fans. “Don’t cover your smile, you’re beautiful.” The screams somehow get even louder, and you feel as though a million eyes are on you as you wave your lightstick gleefully.
“Aww, so sweet!” Seungmin adds, poking at Felix’s open affection.
“Do you guys wanna know what Felix does? He scrolls through her photos sometimes before practice and he comes back all red. His excuse was that warm up was tough on him.” Chan exposes, though isn’t immediately stopped by his friend. You laugh at the thought, it being heartwarming at the same time.
You wait with Hannah, her parents, and Felix’s family after the concert, seeing Chan walk out first and greet his family, then you. “Felix ‘s coming, just grabbing something.” You nod, letting him reunite with his family for the time being. You smile at his feuding with his sister, feeling a tap on your shoulder.
Felix is standing right behind you with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen, and you practically jump into his arms. “Geez, I’m so sorry, I smell so bad.” His sweat makes your hands cling to him, yet when you look at his face, it made him all the more attractive. Still smelly, but somehow sexy at the same time. He had a towel on his shoulder, wiping his sweat off as best he could. He pulls away to greet his mom and his sisters, taking their pictures for them. You watched in awe how sweet their connection was and how close they were.
You overheard his mom talking to him before they left. “Treat her good, okay? You don’t want to lose her.” Your heart melts, now aware you’ve truly earned his mother’s approval. He walks over to you, stopping to simply admire you, his hand tucking your hair behind your ear.
“My god, you’re beautiful. I’ve missed you so much.” He mutters, the words making you blush and jump onto him for a long awaited kiss. One of those long, cheesy movie kisses was a way to describe it, but who cares if it was cheesy, you finally got to kiss him after months of being away from each other. “Loved your dance, by the way. When’d you get the time to learn that?”
“Circumstances. Figured it’d be best to be prepared.”
“You did fuckin’ amazing, then.” His hand covers his mouth, eyes widened in shock. “I didn’t mean to say that.”
“You aren’t live anymore, it’s fine.”
“Still felt wrong.”
“Do you guys want me to take a picture of you?” Hannah appears out of nowhere, startling you. You nod, handing her your phone, posing for a couple pictures, feeling Felix’s hand on your hip the entire time. “Alright, now kiss!” Hannah says jokingly, Chan shoving her shoulder.
“Seriously–“ You get cut off by Felix’s lips on yours, smiling into the kiss. Hannah eagerly takes photos, even when he pulls away, simply staring into your eyes as if he could see a whole world behind them. “Can you post that?” He asks, his lips curling into a smirk.
“Am I allowed to?”
“I’m the one that asked.”
That was a yes.
When Hannah hands your phone back to you after scrolling through the photos, she says, “You know I was joking, right?” You huff with a smile, staring at the photo of the two of you kissing. “If Felix was given a chance to kiss me, he would do it in a heartbeat, no questions asked.”

YALL R SO CUTE
AWWWW
i want this SO BAD you dont understand

SHE IS SO PRETTY

HAHAHA CAPTION IS SO REAL
“Have you been doing that for every show?” You ask, Felix running his fingers through your hair. “Doing what?” His eyes dart from your eyes to your lips and back. “Showing your abs. Lifting your shirt up and shit.”
He chuckles, his smile so pure talking about such a suggestive topic. “Yeah, why?”
“You’re telling me if I went to your Korea concert, I would have seen your abs there too?”
“You can see my abs anytime, Y/N.”
“I can?”
“You’re my girlfriend, of course you can.”
“Well, I don’t see you enough to see them that often but–“ When you turn back, his shirt is lifted up, showing them off in the middle of a Sydney sidewalk at an ungodly hour in the morning. You yank his shirt back down, Felix laughing almost too loud. “How indecent of you.”
“If indecent is what it takes to make your face like that, I’ll be it all the time.”
“Shut up.”
“You know you like it.”
“Maybe I do, so what?” You turn your face away from him, feeling his fingers rest under your chin to face you towards him again. “So… show me that you like it.”
“Felix, I am not having sex with you in the middle of the sidewalk at one in the morning.”
“So you’d have sex with me if we weren’t on the sidewalk?”
“I don’t think I can even have sex with you. At all.”
“Who’s stopping us?”
“Your fans. Your company.”
“They don’t have to know.”
“‘lix–“
“I know, I know. I’m just joking. Maybe when this whole idol thing is over.”
“It’ll be a while, then.”
“Hope you’re still in love with me by the time I’m 30.”
“I’ll always be in love with you, ‘lix.”
“Really?” He stops in front of you. “Really.”
“You promise?” He holds out his pinkie finger. You hook your own with his. “Promise.”
And he kisses you. Again, and again, and again.

- tickletober day 19
- arms up
- lee! jeongin | ler! felix
—————
“what? i can’t do that!” jeongin squeaked in disbelief.
for yet another episode of stray kids’ popular series skz code, each member had to spin a multicolor wheel. now, each slot of the wheel contained a challenge to be entailed on one of the boys. unfortunately, it was jeongin’s turn and unfortunately, he landed on one of the hardest challenges possible.
keep your arms up while being tickled by a member of your choice.
jeongin’s eyes grew wide and the corner of his lips curved upwards. he could already feel his body tingling and it hadn’t even started yet!
the members collectively burst into laughter. “no way, he already feels ticklish!” seungmin teased, never missing a single opportunity to poke fun at the maknae.
jeongin forced his lips into a pout, scratching at his sides and belly to ease the tickly feeling. scanning the room, he felt a chill run down his spine. all the members had evil grins on their faces, some even held their hands in a claw position. a blush spread across the maknae’s cheeks and down his neck.
“so… who’s it gonna be?” chan asked, followed by minho who mimicked his same question. both of which who happened to be teasingly wiggling their fingers towards the boy.
the youngest shuddered, scanning the room to find his safest option. his eyes met with felix’s and he opted for the group’s sunshine. felix wouldn’t go too hard on him, right?
“uh, lix hyung.” he finally decided, immediately regretting his decision when yongbok leapt up in joy, dragging the boy to the ground and sitting on his hips.
“you know what to do, lift ‘em up~” the older cooed in his menacingly deep voice. the maknae whined, slowly raising his arms above his head. it took longer than it should have due to jeongin who kept bringing them back down every time he got a little more than halfway up. mostly out of pure anticipation and the fact that this boy is crazy sensitive.
“please go easy!” the younger pleaded, jerking to the left when felix tapped a singular finger on his right rib. then, jerking to the right when felix repeated the same action on his left set of ribs.
“he’s keeping them up for longer than i thought he would.” hyunjin remarked, watching as i.n nearly snapped his arms down when yongbok pushed a little deeper into his bottom rib.
the maknae broke into an adorable smile, twisting around when the deep voiced boy wiggled his index finger into his side. “ihit’s only been lihike three seconds! i c-can last lohonger than- AH! NOHOHOHOHOHO!!” the boy squealed when he felt fingers jam into his exposed armpits. immediately, the maknae slammed his arms down in a weak attempt to protect himself.
“you have to keep your arms up innie!” felix grabbed jeongin’s arms, ripping them back over the boy’s head before plunging back into his exposed hollows.
“I CAHAHAHAHAHAN’T!” the black haired boy squealed, trying to curl up and choking on his own words through his high pitched, breathy laughter.
after a few more seconds of wiggling around, yongbok pulled his fingers out of jeongin’s pits, “the baby is too ticklish~” he teased while rubbing the maknae’s back comfortingly.
jeongin couldn’t help but feel flustered, hiding his face in his hands. “shut up…” he groaned, receiving bouts of laughter from the other members.

Seungmin and I.N are curious about what Changbin meant. Their Eomma treats Han so well and the way Chan reacted made it even more suspicious.
Plus suddenly their parents being civil, without one of them rolling an eye at each other. There’s something definitely wrong.
Seungmin and I.N would ask Changbin. Except Seungmin can’t stand be in the same room as him so they have to snoop around
What has Seungmin and I.N uncover? However the news has made Han uneasy
Back At Stray Kids Family Chat
Today 18:00
Seungmin🐶: ATTENTION FAMILY! ME AND INNIE HAVE MADE A DISCOVERY
I.N🦊: I wish, I never eavesdrop Appa and Eomma on the balcony

Seungmin🐶: Wait what? Innie? Eomma crush on Han? Don’t be ridiculous!
Han🐿️: C-crush on me good joke innie. I just can’t believe Eomma will dump all of Appa Twice album in the cat litter box…rumour has it
Felix☀️: Ohhh,oh good good. Seriously how made up that rumour! Cause that is so unrealistic

Han🐿️: I CAN’T SLEEP!
Felix☀️: Make that me and Innie
Han🐿️: How can I sleep! When my Eomma may potentially have crush on me. THAT IS SO GROSSS

I.N🦊: Maybe I did…I was pretty tired that day
Changbin🙄: Han, if Eomma has a crush on you. Why would he marry Appa then? Think about it logically
Han🐿️: That is so true, Innie don’t ever scare me like that. If Eomma actually has crush on me. I would literally will move out and live with Binnie

Ask meme word for you is “best”!
Tumblr media
ooh this should be interesting ty 💜 turns out I've used it quite a bit especially in the Yurch au stuff :3 (i have a lot of wip documents sorry haha)
Terrence took the bottle and turned it around and over in the sun, watching the glitter swirl around in the acid pink liquid. "Yeah, that's definitely Cronut's work," he muttered. He glanced up at Felix. "Why do you want me to have legs?"
"It's not about me," Felix said airily. Terrence gave him a dirty look. That was a patent lie. "I thought it might be fun if you got to wander around up here on land for a little bit. Shake things up a little."
"Uh-huh."
"I could even show you how to get at the best plums in the orchard."
Terrence smirked. "You just wanted an accomplice."
-
Felix takes a brief bow. "The one and only, motherfuckers. Now," he continues, flipping a lockpicking kit casually out of one of his pouches, "Once you leave you'll notice this base is entirely populated by corpses. No need to thank us, and no need to waste time getting the fuck out. And, if there is any mercy in this cold, unforgiving universe, we'll never see each other ever again, so." He swings the door open. "Make like a tree, cocksuckers."
They hesitate, glancing at each other. "I know I didn't stutter. Get out. Your yellow moron is right here." Felix grabs Grif by the shoulder and shoves him into the room.
"Grif!" Simmons yells.
"I'm orange!" Grif protests.
"Shut up, you're goldenrod at best. We're not having this argument again because I'm right," Felix hisses, feeling his grip on his temper quickly loosen.
-
"Fragment?" Sharkface's curious gaze swung his way and Aiden did his best to keep his face neutral. "It's busted?"
-
“Oh, you don’t talk much, huh? I like that, that’s kinda cool. It’s mysterious. You’re like a magician. You’re like… David Blaine with tits.”
Leland turned to look at him over his shoulder. "Um. You do realize I'm "Yellow Church", right, and not the girl?"
"Oh, I know." Yes, Tucker was very keenly aware he'd just panicked and hit on his best friend's new ghost clone haunting a pretty good-looking robot body.
"Ok. Great."
Tucker shuffled his feet awkwardly. He fucked up. Lee's gonna hate him same as Church and—
Suddenly Leland sighed and said, "Actually Cinnabon sounds really fuckin' good right now."
"Oh, y-yeah?"
Leland gave a distracted hum. "Yeah, but…" He glanced up at the sky. "Where the fuck even is the nearest mall from here?"
-
He often has horrible nightmares when sleeping alone, and Caboose wakes up right away to wake him since he's kinda noisy - thrashing, crying, screaming. The rest of the squad prefers that they sleep snuggled up together. Sometimes when the others' sleep gets bad, Caboose goes around and collects everyone into a cuddle pile and they sleep that way. They weren't very happy about it at first, especially Emerson who has a superiority complex, but it's the best sleep they've ever gotten in their lives. Shin and Joennes use the excuse to cuddle with each other.
-
Despite his best efforts, Wash figures him out quickly. He's really not as stealthy as he used to be, despite trying to get extra training in when everyone else was sleeping. "Private Argus," Wash calls cheerfully, "if you would be polite and join us instead of eavesdropping."
"Damnit." He should have known better than to think he could trail Wash properly while also being out of practice. Wash had actually gotten onto the leaderboard, and he'd spent the past 14 months as Private Duncan Argus, a dangerously clumsy recruit whose only real asset was his speed.
"Argus?" Church says, high-pitched with disbelief. "What the fuck is he doing here?"
"He's been following us, probably on Command's orders."
"Howdy, folks," Argus says pleasantly, walking up to them nonchalantly, as if he hasn't just been discovered tailing them for the past several hours. "Sir," he amends, nodding at Washington.
-
He frowned briefly when he realized Church wasn't listening, too busy trying to get Caboose to put him back down from where he was lifting Church up in a huge bear hug and talking about how much fun they're gonna have in their new best friend adventure with their new friends and they're just regular friends because no one else will ever be his best friend and somewhere along that happy rant, Church feels his emotions go into overdrive and tears leak out of his remarkably anatomically correct tear ducts.
-
Maine huffs lightly, raises his eyebrows, and turns to walk away. That was probably the best it was going to get, and it wasn't Sigma's place to pry further. Well he didn't rip your chip out of our head and crush it so that's something, Alpha thinks to him. Sigma gives him a baleful stare and sinks back into himself for contemplation. Alpha can still feel him there as well as he can feel their limbs, but leaves him be. Being partially integrated is weird.

Crazy Ex Boyfriend
Tumblr media
Pairing: han jisung x reader, hyunjin x reader Genre: horror, angst, slight fluff Warnings: mention of abuse, manipulation, swearing, jisung is crazy, alcohol consumption, mention of speeding (don't speed kids), attempted murder Words: 2,647 Taglist: @alphadisaster @lee--felix @heeseongism
The moment you broke up with Jisung, you felt free. You could finally breathe without any worry in your mind. His behaviour and constant aggressiveness scared you, and you couldn’t take it anymore, deciding to break things off with him.
Jisung hated that you wanted to break up with him at first, trying to make you stay, playing the ‘victim card’, acting like you were the bad guy. You didn’t fall for his act, standing up to him and telling him to leave. In the end, he accepted that you two were over, walking out of your home and slammed the door shut.
You spent months focusing on yourself, not letting anything get in the way to distract you. You started going to the gym, bought yourself a whole new wardrobe, and spent a lot of time with your friends, which you couldn’t do when you were with Jisung.
It was around the 6 month mark of being single, and you started talking to someone. He was tall and handsome, his eye smile could light up an entire room. He laughed at literally anything, which you found cute. His name was Hyunjin, and you got on like a house on fire. You got into a relationship around a month later, and you never felt happier.
Unfortunately, Jisung found out you got into another relationship and to say he was pissed was an understatement.
The moment Jisung found out about your new boyfriend, he was livid. Only he was allowed to love you, no one else. No one would love you the same way he loved you. He couldn’t stand seeing you happy with anyone other than him. He’s gonna have to do something about that, even if it means getting his hands dirty.
--------------------------------
You were getting ready to go on a date with Hyunjin, fixing up your makeup and straightening out your dress. Putting your heels on, you walked down the stairs, seeing a text from Hyunjin that he’s on his way to pick you up.
Your phone suddenly started ringing and you answered it without looking at the caller ID, just assuming it was Hyunjin. “Hey”, you excitedly said into the phone, expecting Hyunjin to answer but when you heard the voice that didn’t belong to Hyunjin, you froze.
“Why are you in another relationship? Do you not love me anymore? I’m sorry for how I was, I’m a different person now”, Jisung said into the phone, pretending to be hurt that you’ve moved on from him.
“Jisung, we broke up over 7 months ago. You need to let me go”, you said, wanting to get it into his head that you’ve moved on and want nothing to do with him. But Jisung didn’t like that, scoffing into the phone.
“But y/n, I still love you. You know I didn’t mean to hurt you. I was going through a hard time when we were together. Baby, please. I can’t live without you”, Jisung said, and it sounded like he was crying. You saw through his act, sighing. Going through a hard time doesn’t give him the excuse to be aggressive towards you, mentally fucking you up and making you flinch every time he walks towards you.
“Jisung, just get it into your head that I don’t love you anymore. Now please, block my number and leave me the fuck alone”, you said and hung up, blocking his number, which you were sure you did months ago, but you were wrong.
You then got a message from Hyunjin, saying that he’s outside. You smiled as you grabbed your purse and keys, and left your house, locking the door behind you. You smiled at Hyunjin as you got into his car, kissing his cheek. The gesture made him shyly smile, not used to the affection. He drove off, music playing on the radio.
--------------------------------
You and Hyunjin were sitting opposite each other, laughing and drinking wine (well, Hyunjin wasn’t since he was driving) as you were waiting for your food. You were in a fancy restaurant, classical music playing in the background. You weren’t paying attention to the music though, you were too focused on Hyunjin to care about anything else.
Your food arrived a few minutes later, the waitress putting your plate in front of you. You looked down at your plate, seeing a juicy piece of steak on a bed of vegetables, with sauce in a gravy boat for you to drizzle over.
While you two were eating, Jisung was sitting in his car, staring out the window as he watched you and Hyunjin. He watched as you smiled at Hyunjin, chomping on your food. Every now and then, you sipped on your wine, swallowing the liquid.
He hated seeing you happy with someone else, it made his blood boil. He got out of his car, walking over to where Hyunjin’s car is. He took his keys, held it between his fingers and started dragging it across Hyunjin’s car. Hyunjin looked out of the window, seeing someone- Jisung- keying his car.
“Hey, what the fuck is he doing to my car?!” Hyunjin said as he slammed his cutlery down on the table. You looked out the window and your blood ran cold as you saw Jisung beside Hyunjin’s car.
Hyunjin got up out of his seat and ran out of the restaurant. You immediately followed after him, not wanting him to do anything stupid. “What the fuck are you doing to my car?! And who the hell are you?!” Hyunjin said, getting close to Jisung. You grabbed Hyunjin’s arm, stopping him from getting any closer.
“Hyunjin, don’t, he’s not worth it”, you said, staring at Jisung with horror. Hyunjin looked down at you and then back at Jisung. That’s when it clicked in his head. “I see you’re the ex who made y/n’s life hell”, Hyunjin said.
You walked towards Jisung, standing in front of him. “What are you doing here? Stop harassing me and just leave me alone. We’re over, why can’t you just accept that?!” you said, sounding really annoyed. You pushed him away slightly as he stood closer to you, not wanting him invading your personal space. Jisung didn’t like that you pushed him, and he slapped you.
You held your cheek, shock written all over your face. Jisung went from looking angry, to regretful, to sad. “I-i’m so sorry, I don’t know why I did that”, he said and started slapping himself, hitting his cheek over and over again. You grabbed his arm to stop him from hitting himself, and he looked down at you.
He didn’t hesitate to hug you, wrapping his arms around you. “I knew you still loved me”, he said and you tried pushing him off you. Luckily Hyunjin was strong enough to pull him off you, pushing him away. “Dude, get it into your thick head that she doesn’t love you anymore. Get your delusional ass away from here and fuck off”, Hyunjin said and grabbed your hand, going back into the restaurant.
Jisung stormed his way back to his car and got inside. He sat in his seat for a few moments, staring out the front window. He felt so angry, and started hitting the steering wheel, screaming at the top of his lungs. He sped all the way home, not caring that he’s going over the speed limit.
He slammed the door shut as soon as he entered his house, kicking his shoes off. He made his way to the kitchen, looked through the drawers and grabbed a knife. He aimed the knife at the dart board on the wall, throwing it. The blade hit the middle of the board and Jisung smirked.
“The next time I see you, Hyunjin, that’s what I’m going to do to you. Then y/n will be mine again”
--------------------------------
Over the next couple of weeks, Jisung has been harassing you non stop. Calling you every couple of minutes, showing up at your house and posting threatening messages through your door. You wanted to call the police but you were too scared to do it. You were even too scared to leave the house, worried that Jisung would follow you.
But you knew you had to leave the house though, you couldn’t keep yourself cooped up inside, worrying about the endless possibilities of what could happen. You decided to go to the shop to buy yourself some new skin care products, as well as some new underwear and shoes. Hey, if it makes you feel better then it worked, right?
You texted Hyunjin, telling him where you were and telling him you were ok. Whenever you left the house, you always made sure to text Hyunjin so he knew you were safe. It wasn’t like an ‘overprotective boyfriend’ situation, it was more of a ‘let me know you’re safe from your crazy ex boyfriend’ situation.
You headed towards your car, unlocking it with your keys. You put your bags in the boot of your car, closed it and got into your car. You drove away and headed back home. You were unaware that someone was following you, and that someone was Jisung.
You arrived home, parked your car in front of your house and got out. You grabbed your bags and headed inside, locking the door behind you. When Jisung was sure you were definitely not going to come back outside, he left his car and made his way towards your front door. He checked under the plant pot to see if the spare key was still there and it was. He picked it up and unlocked your door, being as quiet as possible.
He walked into your house and closed the door quietly. He looked around your home, noticing that it looked different. All the pictures of you and Jisung were gone, which were replaced with pieces of artwork. He looked at the pieces of art closely and he saw they were signed. They were painted by Hyunjin and Jisung was annoyed.
He walked further into the house, and headed towards the stairs. He quietly and carefully tiptoed up the stairs, not wanting to be heard. He reached the top, and walked towards your bedroom. Your bedroom door was shut slightly, and Jisung poked his head to see through the gap. You were trying on your new underwear, checking yourself out in the mirror.
You were about to take your bra off when you heard a noise. It sounded like heavy breathing and you froze. You turned around, looking at the door. “Who’s there?” you asked, putting your clothes on and walked towards the door.
You opened it and saw Jisung. Before you could scream, Jisung put his hand over your mouth, stopping you from making a noise. “Baby, don’t make a noise. You don’t want your neighbours calling the cops, do you?” he asked, taking his hand off your mouth slowly. You were scared shitless but you didn’t want to make Jisung angry to the point where he goes berserk.
“Why are you with that Hyunjin guy? You know he doesn’t actually love you, right? I’m the only person who loves you. No one can love you like I can. I swear I’m not a bad guy. I’ll go to therapy and get some help with my aggression, I promise. Please, come back to me”, he said to you, giving you the puppy dog eye look. He always did that to get his way, manipulating you to stay with him when you were still in a relationship.
“Jisung”, you started, and he smiled, thinking you were going back to him. “How many times do I have to tell you, we’re over and nothing, and I mean nothing, will make me go back to you”, you said, making him frown. He sighed and took a step back from you. “Well, I guess I tried”, he said and walked away from you, making you confused. He never used to give up so easily so, why did he decide to give up now? He was either coming to his senses, or he was up to something. You went with the latter so you didn’t let your guard down, going back to your bedroom and grabbed something to use as a weapon. You picked up a baseball bat, and walked out your bedroom.
You walked down the stairs, waiting for Jisung to pop out at any moment. You heard moving around in the kitchen, and walked towards the noise. You walked into the kitchen and saw Jisung holding a knife, which was dripping in blood. You saw that he hurt himself, and you dropped the baseball bat and grabbed a cloth, covering his arms with the cloth.
“What the fuck are you doing? Are you fucking crazy? Are you seriously trying to kill yourself?” you said, your voice filled with fear and horror. Jisung just looked at you smiling. His smile was soon replaced by a frown as he started crying. You just looked up at him, confused. His emotions changed so much, you were sure there was something up with him. “I’m sorry y/n, I just can’t live without you”, he cried, tears streaming down his face.
You didn’t know what to do at this point. You didn’t want to go back to him, but at the same time, you didn’t want him killing himself because of you. While you were deep in thought, you didn’t see Jisung’s smirk.
You sat him on a chair while you got the first aid kit, cleaning up the cuts on his arm, putting a bandage on his arms. You stood up once you were finished, putting the first aid kit away. Jisung stood up from his seat and walked up behind you, trapping you between him and the counter. “Jisung, please move”, you said, trying to get him to move but he wouldn’t budge. “No, not until you say you still love me”, he said, looking down at you.
“For fucks sake, I don’t love you anymore! I am in love with Hyunjin. I am sick of you, now please leave”, you said, pushing him away. You managed to get away and tried to run out of the kitchen. You didn’t get far though as Jisung grabbed your hair, yanking it, making you scream out of pain.
“You fucking bitch, you made the wrong choice by leaving me”, Jisung growled into your ear, gripping your neck with his other hand. You whimpered, scared for your life. Tears started streaming down your face as his nails dug into your skin, feeling blood trickle down your neck.
Suddenly, the front door slammed open and you heard shouting. “y/n!” the sound of Hyunjin’s voice made you scream for him, elbowing Jisung in the stomach and trying to run away but he pushed you to the ground, climbing on top of you as he pushed your face into the floor.
Hyunjin came running in, and saw you on the ground. “Get off her, you piece of shit”, he shouted and tried running forward but was stopped as police officers ran into the house. One of them ran into the kitchen and grabbed Jisung, getting him off you and handcuffing him. “You’re under arrest for harassment, assault, violence, trespassing, destruction of property and attempted murder”, the officer said and took Jisung away. The last thing you saw was him smirking before he was out of your sight.
Hyunjin helped you up and held you, holding your head while you cried into his chest. Jisung was finally out of your life for good. “Let’s go get you cleaned up and dressed, yeah? Then we can watch a film and forget about everything”, Hyunjin said before kissing you, rubbing the back of your neck. You fell asleep that night in Hyunjin’s arms, and you felt safe for once.

Felix is positive he’s going to hell, he shouldn’t be looking at his roommate and best friend like that.
“loosen up a little, lixie” you almost yell for him to hear you over the loud bass ringing in both of your chests.
Speaking of chest, shit, he’s staring again. But its not his fault, your boobs were staring at him first.
In the tight black v neck crop top that you decided to wear to todays frat party, your décolletage simply looks ravishing, especially alongside the black leather mini skirt that rounds out your ass so perfectly and exposes your thighs deliciously.
He looks at you, smiling at your hair whipping around as you swing your head to the strong bass.
“you need to drink more, you’re no fun” you grin, tugging him off to the side into the kitchen of your boyfriends frat house.
Oh yea, your boyfriend, hyunjin.
He should hate him for being so lucky to have you as his girlfriend, but he simply can’t.
Not when Hwang Hyunjin is probably the best looking but also the sweetest guy on campus.
The only guy maybe rivalling him would be seo changbin from the year above him … anyways, nothing is wrong with him.
Quite the opposite, which is why felix became good friends with him even before he met you.
And now almost a year later of hyunjin and you being together and felix being the token best friend/ third wheel, he still doesn’t know who of the two of you he’s into more.
“there we go” you coo, lifting the shot glass to felix’s lips and watching as the bitter liquid passes his lips.
His face contorts in disgust even before he manages to swallow the liqour “that’s awful” he groans, at which you laugh and pour yourself one.
“you have to fold your tongue back and just-“ you end your sentence with quickly throwing your head back and downing your own shot.
Felix grins when a short lived shudder washes over your body at the aftertaste “right” he mocks, grinningly.
A playful punch is delivered to his shoulder before a familiar voice interrupts your banter.
“drinking without me? the audacity” hyunjin grins as he makes his way over to you.
“well, it’s not our fault you take so long to get ready” you stem your arm into your hip sassily “or should I say admire yourself in the mirror for so long” you quip, cocking one brow up; laughing and squealing when hyunjin picks you up slightly and blows a raspberry into the exposed skin of your neck as a response to your teasing.
“the black hair looks good” felix finds his voice after hyunjin had put you back down and pressed a kiss to your lips.
His plump lips stretch into a bashful smile, a little dimple appearing in his left cheek “really?” he runs a hand through the long dark locks for good measure, at which you softly hit his chest.
“stop fishing for compliments, jeez” you giggle, hyunjin huffs and wraps his arms around your waist from behind.
“don’t be jealous just because lix likes me better than you” he rests his chin on your shoulder and cheesily winks at felix.
He manages to let out a somewhat not-awkward laugh even though his heart starts racing and he hopes the light is dimmed enough for the both of you not to see his red cheeks.
“oh, please there is no way he likes you better than me” you roll your eyes playfully “right, lixie?” you bat your lashes at him, crossing your arms and conveniently pressing your chest together.
Felix’s eyes flicker to your breasts before he catches himself and laughs “you guys are annoying” before grabbing one of the shots you poured earlier and bringing it to his lips hastily.
In the corner of his eyes he can see hyunjin whispering something in your ear at which you giggle and nod before you turn around to kiss him.
“I’ll be outside real quick, have to ask minho hyung something about the plumping issue” hyunjin sighs when he and felix lock eyes before pressing a kiss to your head.
“watch her” he points at felix before leaving, for him to make sure you don’t drink too much since you have the tendency to do so.
“sure” felix lips quirk upwards shortly before he takes your shot glass and downs the fluid in there as well.
“hey, that was mine” you laugh incredulously but he ignores you, pouring himself another one.
“what has gotten into you?” you giggle and take the bottle from him to pour one for yourself.
“I thought we’re gonna party” he grins already feeling a bit drowsy.
You wipe your mouth with the back of your hand, snickering “oh yea we are”
-
“oh,let it out” felix’s head hammers in pain as he feels your hand smooth down the expanse of his back before he rests his cheek on the frat houses toilet seat multiple hours later.
“quite a party hm?” he rasps, eyes closed. You huff “you could say that”.
“I’m sorry” he apologizes quietly.
“for what?” you brush some hair out of his face before standing up and dampening some toilet paper in cold water.
“for ruining your night” he sniffles a little.
“aw no, you didnt” you sit back down next to him, gently wiping his forehead with the cooling tissue “it’s almost over anyways, plus I barely knew anyone” you console him before the door opens.
“here you go” felix hears hyunjins voice and thinks he wants to die of embarrassment, first you have to baby him and now hyunjin sees him like that as well? shit.
“thanks babe” you mumble before leaning down into felix’s peripheral again, holding up his jacket; which hyunjin brought, felix assumes.
“lets get you home, yea?” felix nods at you question, not wanting to cause anymore trouble.
“you think you can walk?” hyunjin asks concernedly when he sees his friends pale face.
“yea yea” felix nods, slowly getting up, with which hyunjin helps him.
Once the three of you are outside the frat house, hyunjin wraps an arm around felix’s waist to help him walk straight.
Felix looks down to where hyunjins hand curls around his waist, holding him up; has he always been this strong?
“I’ll just sleep at your place okay?” hyunjin asks you.
“yea, okay” you nod, holding felixs arm as the three of you walk “you don’t have to though, we’ll be fine”
“eh, I’m not gonna let you two walk home alone, plus I haven’t seen your room since you redecorated” hyunjin winks at you.
“alright” you chuckle.
-
Felix wakes up in his own bed, in his clothes from last night; somewhat thankful that you decided not to undress him.
When he tries to sit up a sharp pain rushes through his skull, his hand lifting to his forehead as he groans.
“fuck” he swears to himself, as slowly as possible he gets out of bed to get rid of his jeans and put on some sweatpants.
Walking out of his room, he hears your giggles coming from behind your door, right across from his own.
He swallows the same dull feeling he always feels when he’s with the two of you and makes his way to the kitchen to get some painkillers and water for his head.
After putting the empty water glass that he just chugged with an advill into the sink he drags his feet back to his room.
Halfway there, he cant help but overhear a soft moan coming from behind your door and stops in his tracks.
There, another one followed by a faint ‘fuck’ which sounded like it came from hyunjin.
Its so wrong, what he’s doing. Those are his bestfriends having sex and he’s standing outside their door like some creep listening to them getting it on.
He should be disgusted by himself, yet he feels his cock stir in his pants when what sounded like your bed creaking and you yelping out your boyfriends name halls through the door.
Before felix knows what he’s doing, he’s gently pushing open your door, just a slit.
And there you are, hyunjin is sitting on the bed with you on his lap and your legs wrapped around his waist.
His cock fully hardens when he watches hyunjin help you lift yourself up and down on his length as he moans out for you.
You are facing the door but your eyes are scrunched closed and your head is thrown back in pleasure as your boyfriend sucks at your neck, your arms wrapped around his, nails digging into his broad shoulders.
Felix doesn’t even know where he should look; should he look at the barely there view he has on your tits or the way your ass and hips jiggle every time they come down onto hyunjins thighs. Should he look at the way hyunjins arms bulge with every lift of your body or the way his shoulders and back muscles ripple.
His gaze returns to your face and his heart drops because you are looking him dead in the eyes, he stumbles back and roughly bangs the door shut with him in shock.
“fuck-fuck” he chants to himself, almost scrambling into your shared bathroom and locking the door.
His heart races like it never has before as he paces through the bathroom gnawing on his thumb. Totally ignoring the way his cock throbs in need of attention.
Why didn’t you say anything? Did he only imagine you seeing him? Is he going crazy?
He turns on the shower before undressing himself, the only thing he knows right know, is not having an answer to any of his questions.
-
"good morning sunshine" hyunjin presses a kiss to your cheek and your eyes flutter open, the warm sensation you feel in your panties getting more intense thhe more concious you get.
"wha- mmh" you arch your neck and hyunjin giggles into your ear, kissing the corner of your mouth before you turn your head and capture his lips with yours.
His fingers keep rubbing you over your panties when you push the covers off of the both of you.
He kisses you feverishly, kneeling himself in between your legs and staring at the wet spot that formed on your panties, thumb still rubbing over your clit.
"please" you whine, wiggling your hips "dont tease"
Hyunjins eyes sparkle up at yours before he flashes a smile "i'd never" he leans down, dragging his tongue over your panties.
A little too loud of a moan tears from your throat as your hips buck up.
"shhh" hyunjin teases, pulling off your panties "you're gonna wake the entire building" you giggle when he smacks your butt.
"aw fuck- baby" your fingers instinctively tangle into his dark locks when his tongue starts dipping into your wetness.
His hands are wrapped around your thighs, holding them securely to the side of his head when he sucks on your clit, your back arching in response.
“taste so good, baby” he smacks his lips, hooded eyes peering up at you, when you hold yourself up to watch, he licks a bold stripe through your wetness.
“shit” your eyes roll back when you groan, dropping your head momentairily. “fuck me, right now” you hold his cheeks.
Hyunjin grins, pressing a wet kiss to your clit before sitting up and pulling down his boxers.
You lick your hand and fist his length, twisting your wrist a few times when he leans down to kiss you.
Replacing his hand with yours, he lines himself up with your entrance; groaning when he pushes inside.
“so wet baby” he punctuates each word with a kiss to your lips.
“so perfect, fuck!” you moan at his words, relishing in how he fills you up as you bare your neck for him to drag his lips along.
He rolls his hips into yours, kissing your lips at the same sensual pace.
“wanna-“ you gasp.
“what do you want baby” hyunjin breathes “tell me” he mumbles, cupping your cheek.
“wanna ride you” you crade his cheeks before connecting your lips.
“come here” the bed creaks under both of your weight when hyunjin positions you in his lap and you wrap your legs around his waist.
You cry out when sinking down onto his length again “hyunjin! shit” you claw onto his shoulders.
“I got you, love” he mouths underneath your ear, sucking on the sensitive skin.
“you’re so big” you gasp, tucking your face into his neck which entices a soft chuckle from your boyfriend.
“you’re doing so good baby” he runs his hand down your back before gripping onto your hips when you start bouncing up and down to the best of your abilities.
You throw your head back when his cock drags along your magic spot inside of you, closing your eyes when he starts sucking another bruise into your skin as you roll your hips.
“fuck-y/n” hyunjin moans agsinst your skin when your walls tighten around him.
Your mouth agapes in pleasure and you lift your head up, opening your eyes to see felix stare at the two of you, doorhandle still in hand.
You feel your self clench even more around hyunjins lengths when you see how felix is drinking in hyunjins form.
He gulps and locks eyes with you, face visibly paling as he gets startled by your sudden eye contact, launching back and ramming the door closed.
“what the-“ hyunjin turns around, halting his movements.
“fuck” you hear from outside your room, hyunjin looks back at you.
“is that-“
“felix, yes, he was watching us” you feel blood creep into your cheeks at which hyunjin grins.
“Is that why you just got so tight around me?” he giggles when you feign being appalled by his accusation.
“mmhm, what? Little slut likes when felix watches how good I fuck you, yea?” hyunjin mocks and hoists you off of him and onto your hands and knees.
“mmh-“ you whine when he delivers a smack to your right butt cheek “maybe”
-
“did you mean what you said earlier?” hyunjin asks, running his fingers up and down your side as your head rests on his bare chest.
“what?” you peer up at him through your lashes.
“that you liked it when felix watched us” he recalls, playing with a strand of your hair.
“I never said I did” you trace your finger along his pecs, he huffs.
“but you also didn’t say that you didn’t” he counters, a moment of silence filling the room.
“would you think its weird if I did?” you scooch up a little to look at him better.
“no…” hyunjin hesitates but continues when you lock eyes “I like lix, trust him” he mumbles.
You nod “yea, me too” as you tuck a strand of his hair behind his ear.
-
Felix has been sneaky and successful the past few days when it came to avoiding hyunjin and you.
Hyunjin hasn’t been over since what happened the morning after the party so he didn’t worry about him. You however are still his roommate and best friend, so avoiding you is a full time job which he doesn’t know how long he can hold up.
The door to your shared apartment opens and he steps inside, exhausted from a long day of classes.
When he slips out of his shoes, he hears the tv getting turned on.
“shit” he silently curses, that means you’re in the living room and are going to see him running past you to get to his room.
Still, he tries to be quiet and hopes your peripheral vision is as bad as his avoiding techniques.
Rushing past you, he barely makes it to the corridor that leads to both of your rooms when you say his name.
“felix” you never say his full name like that, he slowly turns around to see you sit on the couch in baggy sweatpants and an oversized shirt, he assumes to be hyunjins.
“yea” his voice cracks.
“come here” you pout a little, patting the couch next to yourself and signalling him to sit down.
Felix sighs heavily before obliging to your wish.
“listen I’m sorry-“ you start but he interrupts you almost immediately.
“woah wo- what?” he furrows his brows “I literally spied on you getting it on and you’re sorry?” he feels like his eyes are going to pop out of his skull at any moment.
“I’m sorry, y/n, and I know I have to apologize to hyunjin as well” felix says, looking down at his hands and silently hoping that you don’t think of him as a creep.
“I’m not mad at you lix” you speak gently, placing one hand over his “and hyunjin isn’t either”
“really?” felix asks doubtfully, to which you nod.
“I promise, we like you a lot lixie” you swipe some hair from his forehead and his breath hitches at the minimal skin contact, feeling his cheeks heat up.
“but- i-“ he stutters but before he can finish his sentence hyunjin walks through the door.
“hey” he beams when seeing you and felix, quickly taking off his jacket and shoes and joining the two of you.
“are you joining our marvel marathon?” hyunjin smiles and felix swears he’s blushing again.
“uh- no” he’s stammering, feeling like he’s going crazy.
“we were just talking about how we are not mad at him or anything” felix sees the look you give hyunjin, wanting him to talk.
“oh, yea. no lix seriously don’t avoid us anymore, its no big deal” hyunjin places his big hand on felix’s shoulder and gently rubs it down his arm.
“yes it is!” felix finally snaps, getting up and looking at both of your shocked faces. He knows that you don’t know this side of him, that you only know the sweet and caring side and not the ‘frustraded / so damn angry at himself’ side.
“wha-“ you try to speak but he interrupts you.
“do you guys even realize how hard it is for me to be around you in general?” he stares at the both of you, seeing how your brows furrow.
“all I can think about is how you guys are perfect and made for each other but also how I cant even choose whom I am more jealous of” he breathes heavily.
“am I more into you?” he gestures towards hyunjin before whipping his head to you “or you? I don’t know!”
“and now I saw you guys- damn” he interrupts himself by frustratedly running his fingers through his hair “fuck, I just made a complete fool of myself” he mumbles, fiddling with his fingers.
You and hyunjin exchange gazes before hyunjin extents his arm towards him, at which felix sighs “I don’t want your pity, guys”
“no, lix come here” hyunjin wiggles his fingers, smiling when felix slides his smaller hand into his.
Felix feels his heartbeat intensify when hyunjin pulls him back onto the couch.
“we like you too, lixie” felixs head whips your way as soon as the words leave your lips “you’re always there for us, always have our backs” you run your hand over his chest as his eyes flicker down to watch your ministrations.
“the next time you want to watch, you can just ask to join instead” hyunjin grins and felix swallows harshly at the idea of being pressed in between the two of you.
“a-“ he starts but clears his throat because his voice cracks “are you serious?”
You nod eagerly “of course, why not? Could be fun” you grin at him.
“unless we read you completely wrong and just made you super uncomfortable, then just forget we ever had this conversation” hyunjin scratches at his forehead bashfully.
Felix’s thoughts run wild as he imagines the three of your bodies entangled in various positions, blinking to get the images out of your head.
“okay-um” you voice catapults him back into reality “sorry” you remove your hand from his chest and scooch away a little “I didn’t want to make this awkward” you shake your head apologetically.
“no!” felix blurts out all over sudden, making you flinch a little “sorry” he mumbles, placing his hand on your knee, hoping you don’t think he’s a nut job.
“its not! I- I would like that” he blushes as he plays with his fingers before he feels the couch next to him shift.
“how about” hyunjin speaks as he stands up “we postpone our movie marathon then” he grins as he holds out his hands for you and felix.
You giggle and get up before intertwining your fingers with your boyfriends, felix smiles hesitantly before sliding his hand into hyunjins free one and following the both of you to your bedroom.
“you wanna kiss me?” you ask felix, grinning when he nods rapidly.
Hyunjin sits down on your bed, watching as you lock lips with the younger boy and feeling his cock stiffen when he lets out a whine; probably because you did that thing with your tongue that hyunjin loves as well.
Felix’s face feels hot, he doesn’t know what is riling him up more, you kissing him or hyunjin watching him so intently.
“don’t forget about me, my darlings” hyunjin speaks softly, grinning when you lock eyes with him.
“undress for me” he orders, at which you let out an excited squeal and pull your oversized shirt over your head, dropping it to the floor.
“fuck” escapes out of felix’s mouth, at which hyunjin chuckles.
“you know, lix, they feel as great as they look” he locks eyes with felix, nodding at him to urge him on.
Felix tentatively raises his hands and gently cups your breasts, his breath hitching when your press your own over his and make him squeeze your boobs.
“fuck” felix repeats, making you giggle “your turn”
At this, felix becomes bright red. What the hell did he think? He couldn’t just have a threesome with his two biggest crushes ever when he had never had sex before.
“uh-i- I’ve never done this” he stammers.
“us neither, lixie” you smile understandingly.
“no-“ he sighs “i- I’ve never had sex before” ashamedly looking at the ground as hyunjin and you exchange somewhat shocked looks.
“I get if you don’t want to continue I mean, you didn’t ask for this-“ hyunjin interrupts him.
“if you want to continue we can, we have no problem with it, lix I promise” he assures his friend.
“yea-I uh-want you to be my first” felix mumbles.
“you’re so cute” you coo, cradling his cheeks and pressing some kisses to his freckly cheeks at which he squirms a little and giggles as well.
“back to the good stuff?” hyunjin tilts his head, felix nods before shakily exhaling.
“relax” you whisper, smiling when felix grips the hem of his shirt and pulls it over his head, he feels the blood rush to his cheeks when hyunjin mimics him and he has a full frontal view on his muscular torso.
His gaze averts back to you when you guide him to your bed.
“sit down” you nod to your headboard, where he scoots up to sit against, watching as hyunjin pulls you down for a kiss, moaning when you grab his bulge over his sweatpants.
“take off your pants” you moan to felix when hyunjin kisses along the side of your neck, felix nods and chokes out a ‘yeah’ before shuffling his pants off.
He strokes his cock as he watches hyunjin squeeze your chest and suck one of your nipples in his mouth.
You moan, rolling your head back before your eyes land on felix’s hard length.
Hyunjin plants a smack to your ass when you get off his lap to crawl in between felix’s legs, grinning at him before you connect your lips with his.
Running your hand down his torso before replacing his hand with yours, hyunjin slowly removes your own sweatpants.
You moan against felix’s lips when hyunjin dips his head and licks a stripe up your wetness.
“fuck” you moan, looking back at your boyfriend.
“gonna suck lixies cock, baby?” he grins, squeezing your right ass cheeks.
“yea” you nod, looking back at the boy in question, cheeks flushed as a nervous puff escapes his puffy lips.
“you want that?” you ask, looking up at him before pressing kisses to his abs.
“y-yes, please” he nods eagerly at which you hum satisfactory, twisting your wrist around his length.
“so polite” you tease him, licking a soft stripe along the underside of his cock at which he hisses ”I like it” you grin, slowly taking him into your mouth while hyunjin scissors two if his fingers inside of you, the thumb of his other hand rubbing circles into your clit.
Hyunjin watches how felix bares his neck and his eyes scrunch together in pleasure, he lifts his hand and lets it hove over your head.
“you can pull on her hair a little, she likes it” hyunjin encourages him, winking when he blushes with the realization hits that he’d been watching him.
But he does what hyunjin tells him and gently places his hands in your hair, pulling on it when you moan around his length.
“oh fuck” his head falls back against the headboard before he opens his eyes and his gaze falls on how hyunjins arms flexes with every drill of his fingers.
“m’gonna cum, fuck” you pull yourself off of felix as you yelp out in pleasure felix extending his arm to touch and squeeze your jiggling breasts.
Suddenly hyunjin stops and you let out a disappointed whine “make lixie cum and I’ll make you cum” hyunjin sneers, punctuating his sentence with another smack to your butt.
You whine but get back to work, bopping your head up and down and letting felix thrust up into your mouth occasionally.
Hyunjin continues to pump his fingers inside of you slowly, feeling how painfully hard his own cock is getting when felix moans about being close.
“cum for us lixie” he urges the younger boy on, pressing his thumb to your clit again so you would moan again.
And you do, the vibrations from your throat sending felix into bliss, hot ropes of cum filling your mouth.
You gasp for breath after swallowing his cum, groaning his disapproval when hyunjin removes his fingers from you yet again.
Felix’s chest heaves with the intensity of his high as he watches hyunjin cume up behind you and pull you up.
You arch your neck back to look at him “did you swallow?” he asks, gently holding onto your throat at which you nod with big eyes.
“show me” you obediently open your mouth and stick out our tongue for him before he kisses you.
“good girl” he mumbles.
Felix can already feel himself getting aroused again, wishing he getting praised by him as well.
As if he could read felix’s mind, hyunjin turns to him “you’re a good boy too lix” and before he can stop himself, a little whine slips past his lips at the praise.
Hyunjin grins “come here” at which felix scrambles and gets on his knees to be at eyelevel with the both of you before hyunjins hand finds his jaw and brings their lips together over your shoulder.
You bite your lip at the sight before taking the opportunity and marking the side of felix’s neck, said boy feels like he’s flying.
Hyunjins tongue intrudes into his mouth, your soft lips are all over his neck and before he knows it he’s hard again.
Your hands wander down his torso before quick fingers wrap around his length again.
“already ready to go again?” you softly giggle when the boys break their kiss, a faint string of saliva connecting them to each other.
Hyunjin grins “you wanna fuck her?” nodding at you “help me make her cum?”
“yes-yes, fuck” felix nods “please” he adds, remembering that you said you liked it when he was being polite.
Hyunjin sits in felix’s previous position and makes you sit in between his legs with your back to his chest.
“y-you’re on the pill, right?” felix asks you carefully, you just smile “yes, lixie I am”
“okay” he smiles back.
Hyunjins big hands spread your legs for felix, who experimentally brings up a finger to run it through your wet folds.
“once you’re in this pussy, I promise you wont want to leave” your boyfriend quips and you playfully slap his shoulder.
“fuck me, lixie” you turn your attention back to felix, making him nod and line up his length with your pulsating hole.
“oh my-“ his eyes close when he pushes inside for the first time.
“that’s it” hyunjins gaze is fixed on where your body connects with his friends, his hand squeezing one of your breast as he listens to the both of you moan.
Felix’s first few thrusts are shaky but soon he finds a rhythm, holding you by your waist as he bottoms out again and again.
“fuck-I wont last” he curses, his hips stuttering when hyunjin kisses his lips once more.
“faster, lixie” you interrupt their kiss with your plead, arching your neck and clawing onto hyunjins arm when he starts rubbing at your clit once more.
“fuck-please don’t stop” you cry out when you feel hyunjin sucking at your neck, felix is breathing heavily; trying to hold out but he feels himself fall once more as he spills his cum into you.
You cum a few seconds later, your walls clamping down on his length and making him groan in overstimulation as you tremble with the aftershocks.
“fuck” you pant, prying hyunjins hand away from your sensitive bud at which he chuckles and complies, pressing a kiss to your hairline.
Felix and you are still catching your breaths when hyunjin breaks the silence.
“you better still have some energy left, ‘cause we are far from done”

There are two sides to every person. The side that you want people to see and the side that you keep to yourself.
You think you've come to discover all those aspects of Lee Felix. Given that he's sweet, unassuming and inexplicably kind to the naked eye but you know, the rising anger in you knows he's only ever been cruel to you.
"Move," you seethe, he moves to let you in but you unintentionally knock your shoulder against his. There's people on the subway, and you hate the way Felix's innocent gaze finds yours for a second and it makes you look like the bad guy.
You feel the disapproving glare of a grandma who has a crumpled catalogue about seasonal pie recipes on her lap, as if she can't believe how much of a cunt you were being to an absolute stranger.
A roll of eyes follows, fishing for your ear phones, if only they knew.
Seeing your ex boyfriend outside of your casual deal hits you with the force of a punch to the gut. But you hid it exceptionally well. Arrogantly jutting your chin upwards. Whilst he cowers beside you, having supposedly caught your sour mood.
To think you had spent an hour with him in a bedroom just formerly...is rather strange. You've been sleeping with him for the past few months now and where it had begun is slightly mysterious to you — was it Chan's birthday party or a clubbing gone wrong one night stand just after Felix had come back to town....? You aren't entirely sure.
Albeit the arrangement is ingrained in your head — what you have with him is a secret strictly kept from your friends who otherwise if even caught air of a mere conversation between you two would invite an influx of queries. This is simple, physical, you don't have time for a relationship, let alone one with him and to mend how utterly lonely you are with someone who hasn't already seen you naked, someone who you couldn't blindly trust, is too much work.
Even though Felix is indubitably affected by your unwavering indifference, something he wasn't used to when you were together because of how giving you were to sate his utterly needy tendencies. Now he feels himself clawing at your hardened exterior in search of just those affections to no actual avail —hurt crossing his eyes when you sneak out of bed without saying goodbye, when days pass and you don't call or text and most importantly, when you're in public and you can't be bothered to spare him as much as a glance. To you, it's nothing more and nothing less. You make it a necessity to keep reminding him.
See you liked to pretend you're a resilient person. That in your heart you really do forgive people and move on.
But he is an exception.
"Did you eat?" He perks up, his voice is small. Careful.
You keep your stoic expression, looking ahead. "No."
Then he blinks, like he usually does when he doesn't understand why you act the way you do. Impolite, communicating only in monosyllables.
Do you really hate him that much?
There's a hoodie pulled over his black hair, longer along the neck, headphones dangling from his neck and his backpack in his hand, he hopes when he holds onto the same railing as you are, that your fingers should brush just a little.
Despite the way you adamantly ignore him, Felix opens his mouth to utter a passing inquiry. Your jaw clenches. And you desperately begin to scan the city map plastered inside to navigate passengers to their destinations.
"Can we...do you want to get something to eat..." He swallows, "together?"
As if he's crazy for even making such a proposition, you look at him once but from the corner of your eye and he thinks that's a lot considering how often you look past him, through him, never at him. You shake your head, giving him a warning stare.
Across from you, his reflection is frowning at your negative response. Still staring at you with a marveling gleam in his eyes, how much you've changed over the past two years just as he has....still takes him by surprise. Suddenly and unexpectedly, his eyes flicker to yours and he finds you staring at his image against the glassed doors. And like a deer caught in headlights, your heart drops to the depths of your stomach.
The announcement above falls deaf to your ears as you exit in a blind rush of sheer panic. Ignoring the biting cold and unfamiliar station. Your stop is still quite far. Maybe you'd have to take the taxi... or walk.
But in the face of all those hassles you sense yourself feeling incredibly relieved...because frankly, you think, you could go to hell and back if gets you away from him.
"So you came to tell me you're just gonna give up? Is that it?"
Felix carefully glances at you through his lashes, silently pursing his lips as to convey the answer.
You stare at the speckles of light kissing up his freckled cheeks, his big beaming eyes, a slightly low bridge but rounded tip of his nose paired with a small upturned mouth.
You can't believe you won't see him again.
Whenever he'd catch a break, he'd take the 2 hour bus to town and come see you, meet you and those once in six months meetings alone, to you, compensated for his lengthy absence.
So it couldn't be the distance, you thought, if that were the case he'd have dumped you when he moved to the capital for university.
Felix just doesn't want to be with you anymore.
"You don't get it...." He closes his eyes, as if he doesn't want to see himself saying what he is about to say, you almost don't get the resistance in his tone. The subtle drop of his Adam's apple. "I don't want to hurt you." He starts, "Just think about this rationally... we're so young, what if I find someone else there?"
Someone...else?
Is it that easy to dispose of you? Aren't you enough?
How foolish of you to only ever think of him.
It felt like Felix was kicking you where knew would hurt the most.
Your sardonic laugh is cracked, garbled and it's so fucking embarrassing that you're crying in the middle of a fast food joint, your fries have gone cold. Had you known seeing him this time would be vastly different from usual, you wouldn't have ordered at all. Why didn't he tell you before? Why had he insisted on catching you unawares?
But then again...this isn't about you at all. This is about Lee Felix. This is about him reducing your worth to make room for himself.
Ultimately, you understand, what is worse than not being loved back is being loved by someone who doesn't love you as much as you do them.
"Well I won't stand in your way then,"
You clear your throat,
"Fuck..." you rub your temple, the sadist in you coughing up hysterical laughs. The ache inside your heart at this point has turned into physical pain, cracks fissuring out against its surface and gnawing at the flesh like its being torn apart at the seams.
You should've seen this coming.
Everyone told you and told you you could only drag on an opposites attract sort of relationship for so long before you start to realise how incompatible you are.
Felix has the audacity to reach over and place his fingertips on your knuckles, his eyes are sad, overflowing with pity. It makes you feel small, the way he looks at you, small, sad and abandoned.
What tips you over the edge, however, is how calm he seems, as if he had been precisely planning to dump you for days and months and years while you continue to make a fool out of yourself never have forseen his decision.
There are tears running down your cheeks, abusing your vision with a vicious sting. You bring your sleeve to collect the needless moisture in a sudden rise of temper that is oh so typical of you.
You snatch your hand away from his touch.
"Don't touch me." You say, the simple comment transfers pain to Felix's eyes, mouth parting in silent words. You want to scream at him, you want to shake him by the collar and tell say something, just say anything at all and I will forgive you. Goddamnit.
In a perfect world, you think, a world where things happened exactly the way they should, you wouldn't have said, instead,
"And don't you fucking dare come back here...ever again."
And...in that very perfect world, he would've listened.
Felix thinks he could, dare he say, love everything about you. Even though you most certainly deserve someone who hasn't hurt you the way he has.
Now it's funny actually, how the tables have turned...back then, he wasn't sure about you and now you aren't about him.
Felix doesn't really blame you though...because he knows he asked for it.
Your presence in his life has somehow become an absolute necessity to say the least. And ironically enough, while he had so confidently pushed you to let go of him, he realises he had been holding onto you all along.
Now what was he saying...again?
Right. Felix loves everything about you.
But what he loves most...is the way your hand instinctively finds his heart when you're kissing. It's just a simple movement of your fingers splaying against his chest, the warmth of them seeping through the fabric of his shirt. He doesn't even know why it means so much to him.
His hand drops from your ass to the back of your thighs to situate you closer to his chest. He moans into the kiss when your teeth comes to scrape against his bottom lip, your ministrations are typically rough and speedy but he is seemingly far too absorbed by the exhilarating feeling coursing throughout his entire form — it's not just blatant lust, he knows, but a much deeper understanding that he is inexplicably gladdened by the fact that he's touching you and you're touching him.
A shaky breath leaves Felix's parted lips as he cranes his neck to allow your lingering kisses to shift along his angular jaw.
Then without quite meaning to, his vision focuses on the table clock that reads it's well past midnight...you had run late tonight for reasons you neglected to disclose. Now that he really focuses, a strong musky fragrance akin to unfamiliar men's cologne wafts up his nostrils.
It couldn't be....
As Felix's suspicions run deeper, he restlessly begins to search up every aspect of his surroundings as best as he can in the limited provision of light. There is a large coat discarded on his bed, one he hasn't seen you wear before...then again it might not be yours at all...
You notice how he's stopped responding to you, so you pause, leaning back, still on his lap. "Is something the matter?"
Felix swallows, blinking up innocently at you. This deal is simple, isn't it? He knew what he was getting into the first time you got together and the second and the third and so on, so why had the possibility of you getting involved with someone else even bother him then?
Both of you knew why.
And what's worse is that Felix is sensitive by nature, never truly succeeding to hide his emotions, especially intense ones when faced with them. So he is hyper aware of the fact that what he is feeling in the moment is not jealousy, it's neither anger nor resentment but a deep seated insecurity that he will lose you.
Again.
"Were you...with someone?"
As expected, your hands resign from cupping his face, you avoid looking at him.
"What?"
Felix clears his throat, his accent thicker, voice heavy from disuse. He thinks about something being with you in the same way only he has...and it causes a dull ache inside his chest.
He rests his head back against the sofa and shrugs lazily. As if to prove a point, as if to say did he touch you here? his fingers ride up your t shirt, gently cupping your ribs, he tries not to look too satisfied when you quiver under the touch.
Still you lift yourself up and the sudden lack of contact almost makes him whine.
You stand before him. A hand at your hip.
"Why are you acting like this?" You say and he notes you sound more... curious than annoyed. Though what frustrates him is that you hadn't answered his question. "I thought I made myself clear...there are rules we agreed upon."
Oh he knows — no staying over, no personal questions, no jealousy.
Felix purses his lips. The downside of your forwardness, the same utterly admirable trait he finds really fucking hot, the one that conditions you to tell Minho off when he hogs all of Felix's brownies though the latter himself is too much of a pushover to say anything, the same one which had in times of recurring doubtfulness assured him of your strong feelings towards him, is that you say whatever comes to mind without sparing anyone's feelings.
"I'm just asking, [........]," he lies, trying to control the pain from projecting itself onto his voice. It hurts to see the way you jump to defend yourself around him, as though you're scared he'll hurt you again. The lack of faith you have him, after all this time, causes him hurt. "Why are you getting so upset...."
Felix is gentle. Communicating his feelings through his actions rather than words, cooly, slowly. And you are the exact opposite — there is an immediacy in your conveyance, a roughness. You mean what you say and you say what you mean so you think everyone does too. Which is why, he concludes, his present actions are insufficient to remove the seeds of resentment he'd left in the wake of his bitter utterances when you broke up.
But Felix was only 18 then, a kid completely unaware of his overwhelming need to have you in his life....what matters is, he's trying...he really is, to recover from his mistakes......shouldn't that least matter?
Thinking the slight inhibition in his tone is just a figment of your imagination and that he is simply and indifferently inquiring you, you feel a wave of embarrassment wash over you. Then you drop down on the bed, feeling for his remote.
You sniff through your nose and against your better judgement say, "I went out with an acquaintance,"
On weekends Chan usually wasn't home, you could come over. This is the routine, it has been for some time now...so, you've come to know Felix's room more intimately than your own, the walls are a deep blue, like the kind of blue out of a Holly Warburton painting. There's an old Coldplay poster on the back of his door and X-Men action figures from eons ago lined on the edges of his bookshelf.
You know where everything goes when though it's dark. But that doesn't mean anything.
It shouldn't.
"A acquaintance who gave you their coat midwinter...you must be close,"
You ignore his pointed comment, he ignores the way your eyes light up when you talk about this acquaintance.
"He's nice." You say, "He walked me to the station and everything."
A happy hum comes in response.
Because when was the last time you talked to him as freely as you are?
Felix plops down on his stomach beside you, elevating his form on his elbows. His fingers come to brush loose strands out of your eyes. Your gaze meets his for the second time that week. Slower. As if you hadn't minded looking him this time. He feels his heart being tugged at all possible angles.
Then, because he can't stop himself — he leans down and kisses you, tentative and indolent, like he has all the time in the world, like all he wants to do is kiss. Don't get him wrong...you've done downright unspeakable things with him, to him...but nothing mediates his adoration for you without the employment of speech like these little chaste...purposeless movements. His fingers coming to splay against your neck, thumbing along your throat when you gulp, the tip of your nose brushing against his cheekbone, eyes fluttering shut. They're...they're intimate. Utterly special. He knows you feel it too, from the way you look slightly surprised, searching his face, eyes skimming up any fragment of emotion conveyed in his features. But you don't encourage it, slowly shifting to turn your back as you lay quietly against his chest.
"Let me stay here tonight," you say, "I'm tired."
"Okay,"
Felix thinks you've broken not one, but two rules now. He hadn't expected you to answer. He hadn't expected you to get into bed with no intention of departing either.
Though he doesn't hold it against you, this is what he wants, for you to open up to him again...after all. These changes can't be bad changes, even if they are little, it's still progress...right?
You wet your fingers, dipping the moistened muscle against the clay mold. All around you is not as eerily quite as it is in your apartment, footsteps thrumming against hardwood floor, kiddish humming from the kitchen, the smell of sugar in the air, you've never worked outside of your home station and well...in class. You thought of yourself as a self sufficient individualist, you liked to believe that you didn't enjoy other people's company like you did your own, with the exception of your roommate. But that's only since you aren't close enough for her to disturb you.
Yet with Soomi moved out for good, the place felt...odd to stay by yourself.
So you found yourself spending more and more time at Felix's. It's nice to have a place to crash in every now and then, the sex is great and when you get hungry after, you don't have to think twice about scouring the fridge.
You don't know why you put off spending time aside from sleeping together at all, more time spent didn't necessarily add to your deal or subtract from it....because the action itself doesn't really mean anything. Everyone gets tired of being alone at some point. That's a universal fact.
Initially, you told yourself your presence was a consequence of Chan catching you two in the shower one night...so now that the cat's out of the bag, you two figured his place could become the only premise you didn't have to play pretend in. You both knew the elder would be more than willing to keep the younger's secret even if he didn't exactly approve of it.
With the increased frequency of your visits, bits and pieces of you remain dispersed all throughout the apartment, your body wash in his bathroom, your underwear in his laundry, the smell of you in his sheets, on his clothes. You had relaxed yourself through the periphery of his life and he had small glimpses of yours, habits and flaws, unknowingly...or knowingly....whatever. — Felix could only thank God that Chan had found out, in spite of the revelation itself putting you both in a compromising position.
With time, he starts to keep a few secrets from you too, here and there, knowing that if you knew you will stop doing it altogether. He can't have that...
You throw a leg around his hip when you're fast asleep, flinging an arm not a second later to cage him in your warm embrace. Felix likes the way your chest rises and falls against his back, how your breath tickles his skin and your mouth parts against his shoulder blade. Sometimes he stays awake and waits for you to do it, then when you do, he grins so hard his face hurts a little. Felix likes being the little spoon.
"Are you listening?"
His vision narrows down to the sight of you holding out your palms in the air, there's wet clay on them, as well on your cheek and legs, between them your pottery wheel is halted to desuetude, there's old newspapers layering the floorboard to prevent staining.
"Sorry...," he smiles sheepishly, "What did you say?"
It's your turn to shift your gaze to your feet. Felix thinks it's highly uncharacteristic, the way you seem almost...shy?
"Can you..." You eye the mug mounted on his study desk, he catches onto your request easily, "I'm thirsty—"
"Yeah yeah hold on... careful," Felix chirps, carefully guiding the rim to your lips to make sure it doesn't spill. He uses the tip of his thumb to wipe the corner of your mouth, you flinch first but then whilst the mild shock subsides, simply stare up at him as the pad of his thumb brushes against your skin. "There you go..." he trails, eyes bright with care.
You feel like a child being doted on, the mere emotion plunging you back to when you were 5 and had crushes on boys who shared skittles with you.
"Thanks."
Felix's ears perk up at the courtesy, you were never one to express yourself easily and when you did, every time, he felt inexplicably delighted.
The apples of your cheeks feel hot for some reason, by putting yourselves in in these small situations, you keep confusing him, you know, because you keep confusing yourself too.
You come out again that night but this time Bang Chan is shifting around in the kitchen. He hardly sleeps, you observe, but probably refusing to come out because he wanted to avoid bumping into you.
Chan doesn't seem to like you very much. Probably. You don't blame him. Before you came along, Felix and he spent more time together, now you had become a constant in his life without will.
You have to listen twice to realise he's speaking with you. Not an invisible being behind you.
"What?"
"I said..." His tone dropped dangerously low, he looks annoyed at something. "Listen I don't care what you're doing but don't hurt him." He's wearing a black t shirt and a pair of pajama shorts with cartoon wolves littered all across the baby blue fabric. He's trying to appear intimidating. It's not really working.
You stifle a laugh.
Frankly had you not known how deeply he cared for Felix, you'd not have cared about his advice. Or warning....?
"Fine," you respond, watching as the tension visibly left his body with one bating breath. "I hope this isn't about me stealing your yoghurt though."
"It's a little about stealing my yoghurt," he jokes, you think he's one of those people who'd apologise if you punched them in the face and spat in their drink. It's interesting...
Chan laughs a little. His eyes sparking with amusement for the first time of all the times he's looked at you. Did he trust your word that much?
"He talks about you a lot you know,"
You nearly spit out your drink. Seungmin isn't exactly the densest guy you know. Far from it exactly and he isn't discreet either. So your first instinct is to think he knows something.
You watch Felix from a distance, a solo cup in hand, he's laughing at something Hyunjin said, there's a crinkle along the bridge of his nose and his upper lip curls upwards to reveal his teeth. In reality, in everyone's eyes, your lives are separate. They walk on eggshells around you still...you assure yourself there's no way anyone could've guessed.
So you play dumb, glugging the whiskey into your cup. It spills around the edges, landing on the semi-lit neon counter.
"Who?"
Seungmin blinks at you. An unreadable expression on his face.
"Jisung." He says, "Who else?"
You feel yourself getting less excited, the breath you were unconsciously holding passing your entire form. Jisung is the newest addition to your life, a performing arts student who offered to portrait model for a project you'd been given in class. He's cute, forward, which you like a lot. And you notice whilst using him for inspiration, that he looks at you just as attentively as you had at him.
Only for different reasons.
Jisung asks for your number. You say yes. Half-heartedly. Though at the forefront of your mind you keep comparing everyone to the guy you go home to ever so often, you pick out their flaws and their perfections and you think to yourself he isn't like this, he is like this.
"Yeah?" You pose, sipping and wincing. "What did he say?"
"Just the usual stuff...." Seungmin tilts his head, he's not drinking tonight because he has an exam tomorrow. You think it's a little funny that he's carrying around water in a solo cup. "But I can tell he has the hots for you,"
You laugh this time. That's no surprise to you. "Well he's not so bad himself."
Seungmin narrows his eyes, shooting you a suspicious look.
"Of course you'd say that...." He taunts, "Heard you guys hung out...how was that by the way?"
"It was alright. Sort of just...happened. We bumped into each other and he offered to buy me dinner."
"And you...said yes?"
You give him a blank look, sarcasm dripping from your monotonous sentences, how else would you have spent time together?
"No, I didn't, Seungmin,"
The owner of the name rolls his eyes at your satirical comment, "No need to be mean, I'm just a little surprised is all."
"Surprised?"
You raise an eyebrow, Felix is still in your line of sight, it looks like he's stalling, waiting for your conversation to end so you could leave. He glances at you a few times and you quickly text him a 5 more minutes. "Why's that?"
"Cause every time you start to have feelings for someone, you take one step forward and ten steps back," he points out, "Think about it...you haven't been in like an....actual relationship after...well, you know," he postulates.
You glare at Seungmin, your pride somewhat injured.
"Hey! I've....dated."
"No....you slept around with people, that's not the same as dating." He retorts.
You snort.
Wouldn't you know.
Minho changes an upbeat pop song to something mellow. It's in a foreign language...maybe Spanish, you understand nothing but you don't have to to know it's a sad tune, the lyrics coming together in a melancholic harmony. Your eyes drift away, you feel your attention falter.
It was not unknown for you to have absolute control over your life, be it living your days by strict routine or building such a sturdy pretentious armour around yourself so that your organic self remained unscathed underneath. You had learnt the hard way that being yourself in front of other people would only bring you hurt...but if no one really knew you, no one could hurt you.
This game of hide and seek had become such a long standing practise in your life that it disconnected who you are from who you pretended to be. And every time the extent of your actual desires, monsters much beyond your control rose to the surface, they brought you shame, disgust.
You found those pretences withering away, the shell of protection around you falling apart whenever the thought of Felix crossed your mind. — his heavy noise of content against your neck, his fingers curling into your sheets, his open mouthed kiss against the arch of your hipbone, everything and anything...you had again, despite all your abrasions, become madly consumed by him.
And you must admit to yourself that you are becoming quite ridiculous because of it.
In this strange moment, you realise you almost need Felix to harp on about you even though you specifically asked him to keep all that you have a secret. You want his friends to come scurrying to you to start telling you that he cares so much he can't keep his mouth shut, to be so enamoured with you that his innermost feelings become painfully apparent, that it's utterly stupid of you to not see how he feels about you.
That's not how it goes though. Stuff like that only happens in movies.
Felix responds, texting, "Take all the time you need." Surprised, you steal a glimpse of him, but only when Seungmin isn't looking. You didn't know what you expected, something more crude, that would give away that he was jumping on the balls of his feet to only get into your pants, that would remind you that Felix is nothing but your fuck buddy. You find that you always look for reasons to resent him....because if you did, it meant that you didn't have to acknowledge how you're still in love with him.
You knew what you were in for. And hoping, wanting something more....is no more than wishful thinking.
Felix smiles at you, a genial smile, a simple curve along the corner of his lips which conveys patience, but also something deeper, like...understanding.
Again no matter how much you pushed him away he seemed to find his way back to you in some fashion, just to convey that your union is not all as black and white as you told yourself it was.
You down the entire drink in one swig. Seungmin makes a face at you, the kind he makes when you stick your fries in ice cream for shits and giggles,
"Well....we broke up a long time ago," You hiss at the awful taste stinging your throat, sounding slightly angry. You can't believe it matters still, but when you've been clutching onto something for too long, be it a painful emotion or a memory...you start to think it's the locus of your life, an integral part of you. It terrifies you to think who you'd become without it — vulnerable, malleable, sensitive.
You can't do that again.
The last few weeks, regardless of how good they were, didn't change a thing.
It couldn't. You wouldn't let it.
Seungmin is right, you think, you are taking ten steps back. Just not in the context he thought.
"There's no reason I shouldn't start now."
Turns out there is a reason.
Jisung asks you out the next day. He's so friendly that you feel overwhelmed. At all times of the day, he dresses like a frat boy out on his morning jog. A nike running shirt and loose fitted trousers, a baseball cap worn the other way around...it's a little silly.
You don't mind it, having the kind of apathy you would have towards someone you don't know very well.
Everything with him feels new, awkward. But also slightly exciting. He talks too much when he's nervous and you notice that he's almost always nervous because of your personality, as though he can't really put a finger on you and doesn't know what to do about it. Besides...he’s not a horrible kisser either, you muse, he just doesn’t know what you want.
Yet whenever you heard yourself thinking those compliments, you couldn't help but feel utterly guilty, a strangely deep seated feeling that you were doing something wrong.
Why did you feel this way....
Felix isn't your boyfriend anymore. You don't owe him any form of loyalty. You knew that. You're someone who sticks to their gut feelings and your gut had decided that something about seeing Jisung didn't feel right and not just because of Felix, but because you're not interested in a relationship just yet. And you're sure he could tell you aren't, he shouldn't quite expect a call back anytime soon.
"I had a nice time," you say, because it's true. He took you out for ice cream and bought you candy floss when you stared at it for too long.
When Jisung doesn't respond for a hot minute, you follow his trail of vision, which instead of focusing on you, has shifted to the semi-lit backdrop of your apartment. He's too obvious.
"Do...you want to come in?"
He flounders a little at your suggestion, embarrassed. "Would that be alright?....if I did...."
"That depends, are you gonna kill me?"
You say with a straight face. No matter much Jisung prodded at your exterior, you wouldn't budge, like you usually hadn't. Unravelling isn't really your thing so....he can't tell if you're kidding or not.
"No...?"
You snort, "Why do you sound so unsure?"
Jisung's face has grown impossibly red, he could feel his ears burning in indescribable shame. You just have this air about you that makes you incredibly hard to read and it's really attractive.
"I....I didn't..."
You keep your voice, steady, calm, "Relax," "I'm just screwing with you," you say, stepping aside for him to enter, "Make yourself at home."
You suppose you were born to study the arts.
You never could consider yourself a studious being. When you were in school, you remember falling behind in classes where the arduous process of revising was required, say mathematics or the sciences even.
Though that realisation hadn't come to you naturally.
Your parents wouldn't take kindly to you not taking up a "well paying" profession and you fell victim to the constant barrage of criticisms, of mockery which ultimately conditioned you to think some part of you, a large part just wasn't good enough.
And with Felix gone....
You were at your worst.
The two years you spent without him were the hardest, a set of years that obliged you to protect yourself from all the hurt around you, inside you. And while the security that you provided yourself is undoubtedly necessary for well...anyone, the process itself had its wicked way of rendering you unspeakably lonely.
You agreed to apply as an engineering major to gain your parents' approval and then transferred to the arts department by the time you'd successfully moved out. You haven't spoken to them ever since...and it hurt you more than you would deign to admit.
When your mum drops over for a surprise visit and chances upon your ex-boyfriend loitering about in your kitchen, fixing up midnight munchies, she takes a natural guess that you've gotten back together. (Which you think is far more agreeable than the truth. Knowing your mother, a staunch supporter of your relationship with him, she wouldn't take lightly to your arrangement.) And before you know it, you're all having dinner.
Felix makes an effort to dress up well, discarding his usual hoodies and joggers for a more formal look, you suspect it has something to do with the fact that you haven't attended any casual settings with him since you broke up.
Cutlery clinks against ceramic, coming down with a semi-loud thump as you try to swallow the enormous lump in your throat. Your mum makes a passing jab at you, saying how you had settled for a much "easier" major than say architecture or philosophy, she bitterly mentioned that everything worked out in the end. After all, your choice is a "much fitting" field of study for someone of your caliber, backhandedly insinuating that you're far too stupid to pursue anything else.
What inspires hilarity is how those insults still affected you. In front of Felix, you act like these few years have brought the fighter out in you and here you are trying to blink away the onslaught of tears prickling your vision. It feels like someone stripped you off your skin, off your flesh and picked out all your shortcomings for him to see.
You expect him to stay quiet, you expect him to think of you as the utterly shameful, selfish being you tell yourself you are,
But Felix's fingers find your shaky knuckles under the table where they rest on your knee, he implants the weight of them in a reassuring squeeze. "Well I think it's great," he says instead, smiling cheerfully at your mum. To which she, for the lack of support, sheepishly beams at him, "Not many people have the drive to do what they want to do. Or know what they want to do...take it from me, Missus [.....]" He laughs nonchalantly, the hairs on the back of your neck standing to attention upon hearing the lovely sound. You always liked his laugh, the sound rippling against your naked skin, thick baritone when he'd just woken up and a kiddish falsetto when he's extremely happy.
You wonder when you started paying so much attention.
Felix glances at you, lingering for a long minute."I bet it took a lot of guts."
You feel your chest constrict with a sudden surge of emotion from the mere look, you can't remember if the Felix you knew in the past, or anyone for that matter, had ever beamed at you with such pride.
You wonder what he'd think if he knew about Jisung, why you had neglected to tell him at all....you knew, because this little moment is precious to you and you had no reason to tarnish it. Not when you had time.
You tilt your head, using your free hand to hastily find the back of his neck, drawing closer to him with little strength. The more he realised what you're doing, the more excited he got. See he found your newly introduced public display of affection immensely attractive, though obviously embarassed by the sudden motion...
You can do crazy things sometimes. Really crazy things. In public and he has never opposed to such exhilarating things, be it in restrooms or even in a similar setting when you were dating, there was a certain thrill to it which drove him to the brink of insanity. Felix would silently implode your attention when you were alone and when you were out in the open, in whichever way he was to receive it, the way which insinuated you were his was the best of them all. All that was fine though...because it was just the two of you.
But now...in this indecent time, he wishes he could hear what you're thinking.
Had... had you gone completely mad?! Your mum is looking!
Your face is stoic, Felix's mouth parts, then you reach over and kiss him shamelessly.
Over the years, all the things that have caused you pain were things you had endured on your own, in his absence. This realisation alone invites a heavy conviction inside you.
Because you know it just as well as he does, no matter how sincere he is to you — you don't need Felix. Not really.
But you want him.
You do a stupid thing. A stupid endearing thing and Felix's heart beats like it would jump out of his mouth if he opened it.
It was meant to be a secret, what you two have, a matter of uncomplicated lust which didn't require the attention of anyone because it initially or so you put it, wasn't important enough.
Then you charge to him, he supposes it has a little to do with the person who was blatantly flirting him in the middle of Changbin's Halloween party, he doesn't care though.
You don't like embarrassing yourself, so he doesn't actually expect you to wear a black cat hairband matching his white ears and feline tail. Felix wants to think it means something, how despite the coos and the caas, the giant wave of surprise washing over your friends, you interlace your fingers within his and kiss his cheek.
He doesn't what that makes the two of you now... but he would give you all the time in the world to figure that out if it meant you could be his again.
You trace your fingers against outline of his face. Splatters of moist moonlight kissing the high rise of his cheeks, dusting along the long fringe of lashes which cast shadows along his skin, his freckles are like dots of bronze dispersed on his skin. He's beautiful like this.
"You're thinking too much," he says with his eyes closed, smiling a little. "Don't think so much."
You laugh. "Or what, huh?"
Felix cracks an eye open, his grin big, kiddish. "I was hoping you'd say that," he rubs the tip of his nose against your collarbone, he snuggles closer to your chest. What you hadn't expected was how he shifted his entire weight onto you, lying entirely atop you as though he were a starfish.
You couldn't stop laughing at the motion, it's so cheesy and gross...you love it.
Here's something you don't know — Jisung tells his friends everything, about making out with you and taking you out...everything. News travels fast. Faster than you anticipated. Despite wanting to divulge the matter, you were too taken by the recent shifts in your feelings to confess to your little interaction. You had told yourself again and again — a little later, just a little later and I’ll tell him.
It could be too late now.
The entire campus knew of your little rendezvous, shooting you curious looks... it's not until Minho comes up to verify the floating rumours do you all but sprint to Felix's place. You think of Chan's trusting eyes, of don't hurt him, of laughing in the intimacy of your bedroom and swiping your fingers down his spine like you were trying to commit the undulating design to memory.
You're not sure where it all began.
but you don't want it to end.
Felix doesn't answer your calls or your messages. When he buzzes you up, just from his gait, just from the resigned look in his eyes, you know he knows.
You watch as he listlessly leaves you to enter, walking before you without saying as much as a word.
You grab Felix’s elbow, making him stop in his tracks. He looks at your fingers wrapping around the muscle, shrugging you off easily. It’s just a small gesture but its impact is so large...that you feel your heart break into a million pieces.
You had never seen Felix being so quiet, even when he was down, he found a manner to radiate a form of optimistic energy which baffled you. You can’t believe how much you could have possibly hurt him.
“I can explain.” you gulp, “We went out on one date. It wasn’t because I liked him, I know it’s stupid and...I should’ve told you. I’m sorry, that's not an excuse, but you have to trust me when I say it didn’t...it doesn’t mean anything to me—”
“Did you sleep with him?”
With his back turned away, he still isn’t looking at you, speaking to you with a surprisingly stable tone.
“No.”
Felix takes a shuddering breath, one which expresses the small relief of knowing that Jisung hadn’t seen, touched you, felt you in the way that he only had, but there’s still so much more he wants to know.
“Did he make you laugh?”
It’s a silly question, he realises belatedly but he can’t help it. Some part of him, a large part, thinks he’d be more hurt if you made someone happy and they made you happy than if you fucked them.
You shake your head even though he can’t see you. “He didn’t.”
Your fingers again reach for his, wrapping your index into his thumb. You slowly move your hands to his middle, clutching him close to your chest, chin hooking into his shoulder, suddenly...you feel him melt into the embrace. Felix’s voice falters for the first time, small trembles against you. You’re willing to answer all his queries if it could put his mind at ease. You put your heart on hold for too long.
"Do you hate me...?" He sniffles.
You blink....did you?
Felix had changed, like you, he had matured, the past version of him you had so stubbornly ingrained in your endless inner monologue is not the one you grew all too familiar with...
Familiarity does breed contempt, does it not? Well you think the line between love and contempt is untraceable, melded together as a mysterious whole. After all those years, you were still angry, still filled to the brim with contempt for him and more importantly, yourself because you still love him much more than you'd like to admit. After all you've been through. After all this time. The need to love him ultimately encompassed every other emotion which posed itself as a hindrance.
So the opposite of love, the absence of love, you think, isn't hate, it's indifference. An emotion you never felt towards him.
Felix has wedged himself into every aspect of your life, tainted every portion of your routine in his presence and in his absence.
You don't think you'd have it another way.
"You broke my heart," you explain, "I was angry....but I could never hate you for the sake of hating you."
"I can't..." Felix whispers, twisting his body so he could look at you now, “I can’t promise you that it won’t be hard but I'm not—I’m not going anywhere...you know that right?”
You lean your forehead against his, his eyes shifting to your mouth, hands rising to wrap around your neck. You smile.
“I know.” you say, "Me neither."
“I love you...” He says in a small voice, putting his hand against your knuckles. “Do you love me?”
Your eyes soften, cupping his face like this — carefully collecting a lone tear with your thumb before it could touch his cheek. This time there is not a shred of hesitancy, no pause, no pondering before you say,
“I never stopped.”
You enter in a blind rush of panic, thinking you might miss your ride, feet knocking together, elbows hitting elbows, bustling all around you and the sudden overwhelming stench of people hit you, it’s not an ideal setting, not at all actually.
But you couldn’t bother to be displeased a second you spent with him. A teenager rolls her eyes at how disgustingly in love you are, elderly couples tutting under their breath...albeit, you don’t fail to notice their subtle smiles, small shake of their heads which attested to the fact that the joy you both radiate is.. absolutely infectious. You stumble with him behind, Felix is laughing breathlessly, bumping into your chest as the train suddenly starts moving, you place a finger on his cheek and he raises his chin to look at you.
“Did you eat?” he repeats, mocking himself, a dialogue from a time which seems an element of the distant past replaced by a love which compensated for every hitch in your relationship. You still argue, still disagree and still make up the same. Felix was right, it isn’t easy.
But when two people love each other as much as you do,
it’s worth trying. With every fibre of your being.
“No.”  You laugh, playing along, “But I could, with you.”

You and Ashley have been friends for four years now. You went through a lot of hardships together, especially when Ashley had an unplanned pregnancy in the last year of college. Luckily, Mason, now her husband, is an amazing person, and even though it was hard, she was able to graduate. You loved her baby, Arthur, so much, like it was your little brother. You knew that their anniversary was getting closer and you wanted to surprise her.
"No way, I cannot ask you for something like that."
"You're not asking, I'm offering. Besides, you know I love spending time with Arthur," you said, holding your phone with one hand while you tried to wash the dishes you used to eat dinner with the other.
"I don't know Y/N..."
"Girl, just stop. I'm not taking a no for an answer. Spending quality time with your husband is important and I know that you have been not getting laid lately."
"You have no idea how hard it is to have sex with a one-year-old making a mess everywhere." You both laughed.
"I'll go to your house tomorrow at 7 pm. Get a reservation at a nice restaurant, get shaved and, wear your best dress. I want you and Mason to have a good time together."
"Okay, but only because it is our anniversary. I'm gonna take this as a present." Ashley sighed, knowing that she had to say yes anyway.
"Because it is, Ashley. I'll see you tomorrow, bye."
"Bye, honey."
You finished your shores and were planning on watching some videos on youtube when you heard your phone buzzing. You picked it up and saw that you had a message.
Felix, 8:45 pm: Hey
Felix, 8:45 pm: Sorry for messaging late but, are you free tomorrow?
You chuckled. Almost 9 pm wasn't late.
Y/N, 8:46 pm: Sorry, I'm going to my friend's house after work.
Y/N, 8:47 pm: I'm going to babysit her baby so she can go have dinner with her husband.
You met Felix at work, during lunch. He was new there and you have seen him sometimes walking around the place, but you never talked to him. Until one day when he dropped his coffee on you. You remembered how embarrassed he was, his cheeks were red and he profusely apologized. Ever since, you had some small talk with him here and there until one day you gave him his number, saying that he could message you if he needed help with something from work. You know it was bullshit since he was from a different department, but still, you needed an excuse to talk to him. He messaged you a few times but eventually, you thought it was a lost cause.
Y/N, 8:57 pm: Why do you ask?
Felix, 9:00 pm: Nothing.
Felix, 9:01 pm: It's silly.
Y/N, 9:03 pm: If it was that silly, you wouldn't have messaged me.
Y/N, 9:03 pm: Spit it out.
Felix, 9:12 pm: There's a convention for Star Wars fans tomorrow. You said that you loved the movies one time so I bought tickets for you.
Y/N, 9:14 pm: Why didn't you tell me before?
Felix, 9:15 pm: I didn't know if you would want to go. But it's okay, don't worry about it.
You thought for a moment. You really wanted to spend time with him. Felix was so sweet, respectful and kind. He was also very, very handsome.
Y/N, 9:30 pm: Do you wanna come to my friend's house tomorrow with me?
You looked at your phone five minutes later and saw that Felix visualized the message but didn't answer. "Congratulations, you fucked it up, Y/N," you said.
You sat on your couch and turned the tv on, planning on finally watching your favorite youtube videos, when you heard your phone buzzing again.
Felix, 9:50 pm: Sure, why not? Is it okay with your friend? She doesn't know me.
You sighed, happy that he answered.
Y/N, 9:51 pm: I'm gonna tell her but I'm pretty sure she'll be fine.

"Is he cute?" Ashley asked, putting on her earring. She looked gorgeous with a tight red dress that accentuated her curves and contrasted with her dark skin. Her curly hair was in a bun, leaving her neck and shoulders exposed. You knew Mason would love it.
"He is very cute. And he's so nice too. I only invited him over because he seems really sweet."
You went to Ashley's house one hour before she would leave for dinner so you could help her get ready, and by help, you meant to force her to wear something that wasn't a t-shirt and jeans.
"How do I look?" she turned around, facing you.
"Gorgeous as always."
Ashley hugged you tight. "Thank you so much, Y/N. You know you don't have to do this, right?"
"But I want to."
The bell rang.
"That's probably Felix," you said.
"Let's go downstairs, I wanna meet this boy."
When you went to the living room you saw Felix talking to Mason.
"Hello, I'm Ashley, nice to meet you."
"I'm Felix, nice to meet you too," Felix raised his hand so he could shake Ashley's hand but she gave him a light hug. You smiled, finding really cute how awkward he was.
"Arthur is sleeping now, he already ate, but if he wakes up, there's milk on the fridge. He usually sleeps all night so you don't have much to worry about."
"Okay, you guys have to go before you're late for dinner," you said, pulling Mason and Ashley towards the door.
"Call me if you need anything. We'll be back tomorrow morning so you'll don't have much trouble with him."
"Don't worry about it. You can take your time."
"Also, don't forg-"
"Baby, we have to go," Mason insisted, holding her hand and trying to get her inside of the car.
"Fine. Bye everyone, see you tomorrow."
You waved at them before going inside and closing the door.
"I'm gonna check on Arthur for a second, you can wait here, okay?" You told Felix.
"Sure."
You went upstairs and checked on Arthur's room. He was sleeping soundly. You felt the urge to lightly pinch his chubby little cute cheeks but you decided not to bother him. You went to the living room again and Felix was sitting on the couch.
"Are you hungry? We bought pizza."
"Uhm, not really."
"Are you sure?" you insisted.
"Okay, one slice would be good."
Felix got up and followed you to the kitchen.
"Your friend has a beautiful house," he said, admiring the place.
"She does. I mean, she's an architect and Mason is an engineer, so they were able to buy a nice place," you cut a piece and handed it to him.
"You said that you studied together."
"We went to the same college, but I graduated in graphic design. For obvious reasons, I don't make as much money as them," you laughed. "Did you always wanted to work in a publishing company?" Felix sat on the balcony standing in the middle of the kitchen. "Honestly, I just wanted to work with what I love. Graphic design is not something that people value but it is what makes me happy." You looked at him and Felix smiled at you, his dimple prominent on his face. He was so cute. "What about you?" "Oh, marketing is definitely not something I dreamed of working with. My family has a long line of people that have been working with it, so I barely had a choice,” Felix confessed. "Oh, yeah?" "Yeah." He looked thoughtful like his mind was somewhere else. "I actually wanted to work with art. I love painting." "Really? That's so cool. Do you have a picture of a painting to show me? I would love to see it." Felix hesitated for a while before he grabbed his phone and scrolled through his gallery. "Please don't think I'm weird," he said before showing you the picture. You raised your eyebrows when you saw what was on the screen of his phone. A beautiful painting of you. You realized that he used your profile picture on Facebook as a reference. "Felix, this is amazing." "It took me a week to finish it," he said, holding his hands behind his back, clearly feeling shy. "I love it, really." You and Felix finished eating. You talked more about your plans for the future, the things you wanted to do with your life, your dreams. You were sitting on the couch watching tv when you heard Arthur crying upstairs. "Ops, somebody woke up." You got up to go to his room and you noticed that Felix was following you. "You don't have to go if you don't want to." "It's fine, I wanna help you." When you entered the room, Arthur was up in his crib, deeply crying. "It's okay," you said in a soft tone, picking him up. "I think somebody needs to change its diaper," Felix said. "You are right," you laughed. "Let's change this little boy." You put Arthur on the changing mat and started to change him, but to be honest, you had no idea what you were doing. Felix laughed. "Let me help you." Felix quickly changed his diaper, he clearly knew what he was doing. "Woah, how do you know that?" you asked, looking at him dumbfounded. He laughed again, amused by your reaction. "I have a small brother so I have changed his diaper plenty of times." "Aaah, that explains a lot."
"Let's see if he wants to eat," Felix said, holding Arthur in his arms. You went to the kitchen and looked for the milk. After pouring it into a pan, you heated it up. "We need to make sure we don't overheat it so it won't burn the baby," Felix said while he tested the milk's temperature. You put it into a baby bottle and gave it to Arthur who promptly drank it. "I guess he was hungry," Felix chuckled. "Do you plan on having kids, Felix?" you looked at him, completely mesmerized by how good he was with kids. "Yes, I love kids. I plan on having two kids one day." "That's so cute, I'm sure you'll be an amazing dad." Felix smiled, making your heart skip a beat. "Do you want to have kids, Y/N?" he looked apprehensive. "Yeah, one day. I still need to find the right person." "Of course." Arthur went back to sleep again when he was done eating. "Not gonna lie, taking care of a baby can be tiring," claimed said, sitting on the couch. Felix sat next to you, his knee touching your leg. "Do you want to watch a movie?" you asked. "Sure!" Twenty minutes later, you started to sleep. Your head felt heavy until it fell on Felix's shoulder. He simply smiled, enjoying the feeling of you so close to him.
Tumblr media
The sound of the bell ringing woke you up. You were laying on the couch, a blanket over your body. You looked around and Felix was sleeping on the smaller couch next to yours, with just a pillow under his head. You got up and answered the door. "Hey!" Ashley said, hugging you. "Hi. How was your night?" "It was amazing. Thank you so much, Y/N." Ashley went to the middle of the living room to drop her bag on the couch, Mason following behind. "How's Arthur? Did he behaved?" Mason asked. "Yeah, he slept almost all of the time." You rubbed your eyes, still feeling sleepy. Ashley turned around, seeing Felix sleeping on the couch. "You guys could have slept in the guest room," she laughed. "I'm gonna check on Arthur. What about some breakfast later?" Mason suggested. "That sounds great, but I think we should go home. Besides, you guys need to spend some family time with your baby." You woke Felix up, and while he was trying to get conscious, you chatted with Ashley about dinner. Mason went downstairs with Arthur and you chatted a little more before leaving. "Do you want me to take you home?" Felix asked, leaving Ashley's house by your side. "No, it's okay, I'll get an Uber." "Aw, come on. I'm not gonna let you leave on an Uber so early in the morning." You looked at him, admiring the freckles on his skin. His pink lips looked soft and you had to fight the urge to kiss him. "You know what, okay. I'll go with you." The drive to your house was silent, the music playing on the radio helped you to distract the thoughts on your head. The night you spent with Felix was amazing, seeing him being so sweet like that only made you even more attracted to him. Felix stopped in front of your house. "Well, we are here." "Do you want to come in?" "Oh... uhm, sure, yes, that would be great." You smiled and left the car, running to open the door for him. "Please don't mind the mess," you said, taking some clothes that were on the couch. "Don't worry about it." "Do you want to eat something?" "I'm fine, I'm still full because of the pizza from yesterday." "Okay." There was an awkward silence for a while and you realized you didn't think this through. Invite him over and what? "You know what? There's something I want to eat," Felix said. "Oh, okay. What do you want? I have bread, cereal, we can make panca-" "You." "What?" you looked at him, your eyes wide. "I w-want to eat you." Felix stuttered, his face showing that he was feeling too shy to be saying the words that left his mouth. "Oh, I'm... I-" you didn't have the chance to finish, Felix approached you and kissed you. You were still processing what was happening so you didn't kiss him back yet. Felix noticed and stopped kissing you. "I-I'm so sorry, Y/N, I shoul-" "No! It's okay. I just wasn't expecting." You kissed him, holding his face and tasting his lips. His left hand held the back of your head while the other held your waist. He bit your lower lip, his tongue entering your mouth and playing with yours. He pressed his body against yours and you felt his semi-hard dick. You whined, trying to control your breath. "Do you want to keep going?" Felix asked, his forehead resting against yours. You simply nodded. "Where's your room?" You grabbed his hand, guiding him to your room. Once you were inside, Felix slammed you against the door, pressing his body into yours. He started to grind his clothed cock on your heat and, this time, you couldn't hold your moans anymore. "Felix," was all you managed to say before he kissed you again. A messy kiss that screamed how much he was longing for you, how much he desired you. His hand grabbed your ass, pulling you closer as if it was even possible. "I wanna taste you," he said, taking you to the bed. You laid down and he wasted no time to take off your pants, pulling your panties with them in a swift movement. Soon enough, his tongue was exploring your wet lips, savoring the taste of your arousal. Felix played with your clit, his tongue sliding against the sensitive skin. You hoped that your neighbors had already left for work, otherwise you would end up waking them up because of your moans. Felix stopped eating you out to unbutton his shirt. "You have no idea how much I wanted to fuck you," he said, his voice deep, making you raise your hips, craving to be filled up. "Felix, please," you moaned. "You want me to fuck you, baby?" "Yes, please." It was embarrassing, you weren't used to begging. Most of the time that you had sex, you were always the one in control. But not with Felix. "Are you on the pill?" Felix asked, taking the rest of his clothes off and pumping his rock-hard cock. "Yeah, please fuck me." "Anything for you," he growled, sliding his dick into your dripping pussy. Felix already started an incessant pounding into you, stealing moans from your throat. "You are so fucking beautiful." You closed your eyes, feeling the burning on your stomach getting stronger. "Fuck, so fucking good, Y/N. You are taking me so well." "Please, don't s-stop." "Turn around, I wanna fuck you from behind." You didn't have much strength left, but Felix helped you out. He was inside of you again, hitting the right spots in this position. Felix felt your pussy tightening against his dick and he started to play with your clit. "Fuck, Felix, I'm gonna cum," you screamed, not being able to control yourself anymore. You came, a long moan leaving your mouth. "I'm gonna cum inside of your little pussy, I'm gonna fill you up so good." He didn't slow his pace, his hips hitting yours in a fast rhythm. "I'm gonna put a baby in your little cute belly, baby girl," he said, closing his eyes as his dick slid in and out of your pussy. "Fuck," you moaned. "You are gonna look so good, all swollen, f-fuck." A few lazy thrusts and Felix came inside of you. He kept thrusting on you for a while until you milked him out. He laid by your side, trying to catch his breath. Felix put his arm on his face, hiding it. He looked completely flustered. "I'm sorry, Y/N. It was way too soon for me to let out this embarrassing kinky stuff." "Felix, shut up. It was fucking hot," you smiled, turning around to hug him and rest your head on his chest. He played with your hair, the warmth of his skin making you fall asleep. But sleeping wasn't on Felix's plans. "Ready for round two?"

[five] : ̗̀➛ BUTTERFLIES SKETCH
Tumblr media
pairing: fem!oc x seo changbin
genre: smau | crack, fluff, (a little bit) angst
warning: cursing

Tumblr media
Changbin had just woken up and the first thing he did was look at the sketch again. He couldn’t get that damn sketch and that girl out of his head. He was never interested in art and yet those butterflies were so beautiful in his eyes. He liked them so much that he wanted to hang them, so that everyone who came into the room could be admired by the beauty of the latter. But at the same time he thought it was a stupid idea to hang something that wasn’t his. Especially if that something had stolen it.
He kept looking at Twitter in the hope that Aera had accepted the request, even though it had been 1-2 hours. Plus who would ever accept the request from such an account? He also thought about how he might approach with her.
"Ehm hi, I’m one of the guys who woke you up last day. I stole a drawing, how about meeting up? Maybe we can have dinner and discuss how beautiful your drawings are"
It sounded crazy. He had to immediately ask Felix for help. Or anyone else. And just when he thought of his beloved colleagues, someone opened the door. Changbin hurried to hide the drawing.
«hey hyung» immediately recognized Hyunjin’s voice and shortly after he saw him enter the room.
«channie-hyung said we have to go, it just seems that he can’t wait to see Nori»
«yes, in fact»
They both left the room, joining the rest of the group.
«I still don’t think it makes any fucking sense» Jisung spoke for everyone as Chan turned off his laptop. The elder looked up but did not answer. The fact that he had looked at him without saying anything spoke more than a thousand words.
«What if we started a fight in front of his sister? Poor woman I do not even want to imagine what pain she might feel to see her brother die like this» Minho said putting a hand to his chest.
«Well come on, the cars have arrived» Chan put the laptop in his backpack, but the others didn’t seem to want to move. All except Felix, who made haste to approach the door.
It took more than five minutes for everyone to get in their cars. Chan, Jisung, Minho and Hyunjin decided to take the vehicle driven by their manager, while Changbin, Felix, Seungmin and Jeongin sat comfortably in the other car. It was perfect like that. Changbin would have used the opportunity to talk to Felix who just glanced at him. The Australian boy, in fact, was just waiting for his hyung to touch on that delicate subject. They took advantage of Seungmin and Jeongin wearing headphones.
«So? Did she accept your request?»
«no» Changbin took the phone and opened Twitter before continuing.
«Who would ever accept a request from such a profile? It looks like a fanpage, I have Lee Know as a profile photo»
«and you have the header with the words "boobs", are u crazy? Plus you have 0 followers» the youngest was baffled by what he was looking at and wondered if Changbin actually had a chance of winning this whole thing.
«I know, you’re absolutely right, but what should I do next? How do I ask her out?» Felix looked at Seungmin and Jeongin before answering.
«We must find a pretext to make her accept» Changbin knew very well what pretext to use. He was gonna give her the sketch back, and what better excuse to do that than go out?
«I may have accidentally stolen one of his drawings»
«YOU DID WHAT?» Felix shouted so loudly that the others could hear him in the other car. Changbin signaled Felix to lower his voice, while hoping in every possible way that the other two members had not heard him. In silence he thanked the creator of the headphones that insulate from noise.
«don’t ask me why I did it, I regret it and I knew it would be a stupid choice, but I did it anyway» Changbin’s arms crossed were the beginning of a pause perhaps because they were both thinking of a hypothetical way to return those sketches without sounding like strange psychopathic stalkers. Felix kept staring at him with his eyes blazing.
«I can say that I found them in the park and I can say that I found them this morning»
«mhh, do as you prefer. I think you should just be honest. Meanwhile, wait for her to accept the request»
Felix was right. The best choice was to wait. Hoping that the wait could lead to good consequences. Hoping that fate would be on his side, at least for that time. But Changbin didn’t know that fate had already made the first move. And it would have done the second one there shortly.
***
Meanwhile, Aera had just arrived at the agency, accompanied by her brother and Yuna. She was almost immediately interrupted by Minha, who approached her.
«you had to be here at 10:30 pm»
«Forgive me, I was waiting for my brother to choose perfume. Apparently he particularly wants to meet his "ex-colleagues" or our father, even if I do not understand why since he always hated him» Nori grimaced to his sister, before turning to Minha. He greeted her with a gentle hug.
Nori loved Minha very much because, in addition to the fact that she was her sister’s best friend, he had seen her grow up and was very fond of her. The only thing he didn’t know was that Minha had always seen Nori not only as a point of reference and as a person to admire. It was thanks to Nori that she could now count a job in one of the most important K-pop record companies. That boy had been her first love, so Nori didn’t fully know what that hug meant to her.
«You haven’t come to our house for a while»
«I’m busy every day because of the work you managed to give me» Minha chuckled, while Nori rattled his head.
«oh really? I’ll meet my father soon. I will make sure to mention to him the discomfort you encountered with your working hours» the girl shook her head with a subsequent sequence of apologies. Aera had greeted Yuna and Chaeryeong recently, before completely distracting attention from the conversation that Minha and her brother were having.
She wasn’t ready to meet her father. They hadn’t seen each other in a few days, but it was much better for her. Her father always had something to say about anything about her life. Aera mentioned Minha? Her father was immediately ready to say "right Minha! Do you know that she is doing a great job at the agency? We are all very pleased with the progress she has managed to make completely on her own. You should also try to find a job, just to start understanding this world and to integrate into society" Aera mentioned Nori? "I don’t really understand your brother, he had such a bright future and he preferred to give it all up. What a disappointment." Did she mention music? "Do you know that this year we have very promising trainees? And by the way, almost everyone is your age! You should try it too, I always said that you would be a perfect artist for JYPE!"
And she was sure it would happen again and she would certainly prefer to avoid humiliation in front of her brother and Minha. She would have gone out willingly, but she had no excuse to do so and would have done nothing but cause more trouble than necessary. On the other hand, he was there for Nori and he had promised her ice cream if she accompanied him, she could not retire now. Plus, she lied when she said she wasn’t even a little curious about this infamous "ex-colleagues". Maybe they would exceed his expectations.
«it’s 3:15 pm, you said the meeting was at 3 pm» Aera abruptly interrupted the conversation, particularly upsetting Minha.
«Maybe they are busy. And anyway Dad is late too, not that I care»
«Ex-colleagues? Who are they, if I can ask you» Minha went back behind the counter. Nori laid his arms on it and said:
«You will see my dear Minha, I think you know them well» a confused Minha lowered her gaze on some papers on which she was working before the Park brothers arrived.
«I don’t understand what you mean but your father has arrived» Aera and Nori turned in unison and saw their father and J.Y. Park talking lovingly.
«oh my precious children» Park Suho welcomed their children with open arms, while the latter reciprocated with a slight smile.
«I see you good! Jin-young do you remember my children?» Suho gave a pat on the shoulder to his friend and pointed to his favorites.
«Of course I remember, how are you?» Aera made a slight bow, while Nori was impassive, as if disgusted by the presence of the two men.
«All right, thank you», in fact, it was Aera herself who answered. JYP smiled at her, also hinting at her brother, still undecided whether to speak or not.
«I’m so glad you’re both here. I passed a few days ago from your house, but you were probably not there» oh, yes they were in the house, but neither Aera nor Nori was going to open it.
«Anyway, before I talk to you, Jin-young and I need to talk to our beloved Stray Kids. Minha, have they arrived yet?» Aera had heard that name before, or at least she was familiar with.
«no Park-nim , I was just waiting for Chan oppa to give him these documents»
«No problem dad, I was waiting for them too» said Nori and Aera’s best friend opened her eyes wide. She did not have time to open his mouth, and her gaze moved to the entrance.
Eight guys were entering, JYP and Park Suho were ready to greet them, but Aera was stuck on the spot.
What the fuck?
Them? They were the "ex-colleagues" her brother wanted to meet?
So they were the guys who woke her up the night before and made a fool of herself?
Were they the guys who could possibly have stolen her drawing?
She turned to Minha, who was also smiling and holding the papers. When she looked again, she noticed that all eight were looking at her. Sixteen eyes pointed at her, which only increased the discomfort, already present in abundance in the room. Aera looked away completely. If she wanted to leave before, now she would literally want to run away.
Changbin pulled Felix’s sleeve slightly, not looking away from Aera. Felix swore he heard Changbin say "shit".
While the others looked at each other as if through their looks they could find a confirmation of what they were thinking.
«my boys» Suho welcomed them as he had planned to do as soon as he had seen them.
«Come closer!» the 8 boys approached where Minha, Nori and Aera were, the latter took a step back. They also greeted JYP before turning their attention completely to Park Suho.
They didn’t seem so happy to talk to him, and Aera was relieved. The only thing she wanted was that they were not the protagonists of the multiple manipulations that the father was subject to do to their artists. Perhaps they were the only people who were not yet blinded by the mockery of Mr Park Suho.
«I never introduced you to my daughter, did I? She is Aera my second daughter and the promising talent of the family!» Suho chuckled, clutching her daughter’s shoulders, Aera was hinting at a slight bow, a sign of respect. Chan saw how Nori clenched his fists as he watched his father completely disgusted.
«Aera, these are Chan, Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix, Seungmin and, the youngest, Jeongin» the boys bowed, while the father pointed them out one by one.
Minha noticed the embarrassing silence created by Mr Park and spoke.
«Chan oppa, I have to give you these. These are the documents you asked for» Chan approached the counter, took the papers and finally met Nori’s gaze.
«thank you so much Minha»
«Chan, before you go out with my son, I need to talk to you» Chan stiffened again, but consented as he signaled the others to follow him. JYP was quick to lift a hand and they stopped immediately.
«Maybe you misunderstood us. We’re going to talk to you and Nori»
Nori and Chan had just left, preceded by the two older ones. The other 7 seemed restless, almost annoyed.
Part of Changbin could not believe that Aera Park was the daughter of Suho Park. The same man head of his agency. But the other side was relieved. They had more in common, and more reasons to get to know her better. Although Park Suho was not her favorite person, he confided in the fact that his daughter was not so arrogant, presumptuous and narcissistic. In fact, he was certain. And if Changbin couldn’t stop thinking about how they could meet Park Suho’s own daughter, the others were horrified by the behavior of their superiors.
«What the fuck? Do they know we exist?» Lee Know leaned his arms on the counter, drawing Minha’s attention, who was staring at the position where Chan and Nori had disappeared.
«What bastards, no offense,» Jisung said, looking at Aera. The latter smiled a little and spoke.
«There is no problem. Insult my father as much as you want, I will not defend him, even if I was at the point of death»
The others smiled at the statement, all but Changbin realized how right he was.
Aera was completely different from her father. Even the fact that she had a sense of humor differentiated her. Although the girl was smiling, Changbin noticed how nervous she was. Perhaps because of their presence? Or because something deeply afflicted her?
«Can I ask you a question?» Aera quickly glanced at Minha and saw that she was still on the sheets to listen to her. Then he went one by one looking at the boys.
«How do you know my brother? He called you "ex-colleagues" but he never told me about you or the work you did» she caught them off guard. In fact they did not know what to answer.
«Did he really call us ex-colleagues?» Aera met Seungmin’s gaze, nodding slightly.
«We had to debut together, but your father forced him to leave the same day as our debut, which also corresponds to Nori’s birthday» Seungmin continued.
«Did he really never tell you about us?» Jisung spoke, noting that Aera had the most confused ideas.
«not that I remember. But I can assure you that he has not forgotten you, I am sure»
«do you say that because he told you, or because is what you think?» Hyunjin didn’t give time to Aera to answer and said: «I still wonder why we are here to waste time with someone who probably doesn’t think about us for years»
«Hyunjin stop» Changbin finally spoke and the others looked at him. Their looks were anything but happy.
They probably thought Changbin said that to calm the situation, to prevent Hyunjin from saying worse things. Changbin didn’t really want to antagonize Nori and especially Aera. Obviously he wasn’t happy to meet him and didn’t blame his teammates at all. But on reflection, it was time to turn the page.
«I think he still thinks and loves you» this time, unexpectedly, it was Minha who spoke. «if not he wouldn’t even agree to go out with you» and after that last sentence, they saw Chan and Nori coming in their direction, followed by the two older men.
«Well, Chan told me that you have to go out and who am I to stop you?» Suho laughed, hitting his son’s shoulder.
«Minha, you can go, for today you can leave a little earlier» Minha saw that Nori was grinning.
«Thank you sir, I just finish fixing these files»
When Stray Kids, along with Nori, were about to leave, Aera felt compelled to speak again. She didn’t want to hold them back, especially knowing how uncomfortable they were feeling.
«Sorry» the guys turned around. At first they thought it was Minha, maybe to discuss some more documents. Instead they saw Aera approaching, did not want Minha and her father to hear and took advantage of the fact that Nori was still talking to JYP.
«by accident, yesterday at the park, did you see a drawing? It was a sketch, I think there were butterflies»
Changbin opened his eyes wide and Felix turned slowly to look at him. Chan also turned perhaps to find confirmation in the eyes of his boys. Changbin took a step back to be completely covered by Hyunjin.
«I personally didn’t see anything, you guys?» the others shake their heads before Chan went on.
«I’m sorry»
«No, it’s okay, thank you anyway» Aera was about to leave, but she needed to say a few more things.
«I wanted to thank you again for waking me up, if you hadn’t arrived I probably would have stayed there I don’t know for how many hours» the girl stopped, but they knew she hadn’t finished yet. They waited and shortly after Aera cleared her voice.
«Nori has never spoken to me of you, but I remember how much it had been bad for the way in which it had treated you. You are right I do not know for sure, but I assure you that he really wants to establish again a friendship with you. I know Nori can be arrogant sometimes, just like his father, but try to be patient anyway» Aera bowed back slightly and walked away, returning from Minha. Even Nori had just finished talking and was just waiting for the others to move.
Changbin and Felix were at the end of the queue, so they could talk without the others hearing.
«Are you sure you want to know her better?» Changbin smiled and looked at Felix.
«absolutely yes»

synopsis: Changbin is finally realizing his lifelong dream, along with the people he loves most in the world. He wasn’t interested in anything other than music nor did he need to look for anything else. On the other hand, Aera can’t wait to leave the place that makes her unhappy from birth. The girl is the daughter of one of JYPE’s most important directors, the famous Park Suho, who never managed to show her how much he actually loved her. And her mother, where the only displays of affection she ever gave her were her birthday wishes when she remembered. Although her father encourages her to pursue an idol career every day, Aera is not interested in that world. She prefers more to be with the people she loves and devote herself to drawing. What would happen if she, who tried to avoid the musical field in every way, met the only person who represents that world? And what if the reason for the meeting is a stupid butterfly sketch?
a/n: hii! Finally I updated something. I'm so proud of this and I'm sorry for the 3k words, I didn't even notice lol. Anyway summer break is almost over, but I hope to stay with motivation during school. Also, I'm still very proud of the boys, and I'm waiting for the unveil and an hypothetical comeback! I hope they are relaxing a little bit especially after Kcon. The last thing I want to say is that I'm very happy that Chan has finally had his nose surgery, now he can breathe well and better. Thank you for the support and I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Stay healthy!

THINGS YOU SAID MASTERLIST 28) things you said in the dark
Tumblr media
MONDAY
Lee Minho is your best friend. Now, Lee Felix would disagree and say you’re in love with him, and your roommate might be right, but you’ll never actually admit it to him. You managed to hide your feelings for the older boy for far too long now and you’re not just going to lose your streak for nothing, right?
Wrong.
Well, it’s not your fault that you have to break the little promise you gave to yourself. It’s all on Lee Felix and his pathetic bet. You should have known better than to make bets with a short Australian boy, but you guess even your brain has its dark moments and this was surely one of them.
“I bet you’ll forget to take out the things from the dishwasher before I come back from my afternoon class,” he prompts to say while putting on his shoes in the hall, glaring at you after a small argument you two had over who is the dirtier one in your apartment (it’s obviously Felix. He just can’t stand the truth).
“Oh yeah? What are we betting on, then?” you mock him, pouting in annoyance.
“If I come back and the dishwasher is still full, you’ll have to confess to Minho. No excuses.” he spits at you, putting on his coat and taking his backpack from the floor, looking like an angry cat.
You snort at his comment. “As if,” you roll your eyes, “okay, deal. And if I don’t forget and you lose this bet, you’ll have to clean for the whole year alone. I’m not helping in the slightest.” you bark at him, watching him open the door and snickering at your proposal.
“Right. Okay,” he nods his head, getting out of your shared apartment, “deal.”
Now, this was a huge deal for you. It was important for you to win this bet, because, well, you hate cleaning. And on top of that, you can’t just confess to your best friend out of the blue, right? That would be horrible. Everyone would have thought you paid much attention to your task and that you actually did what you had to do-- take the dishes out of the dishwasher for once. It was easy!
Well… you see… Friends were on the TV.
Isn’t that enough of a reasoning for you forgetting? No?
Okay, right, maybe you do have a memory of a goldfish. But it’s totally not your fault that the episode that was running was just your favorite and Felix’s afternoon class wasn’t as long as you thought it was going to be!
Needless to say, Felix came home to a full dishwasher and a shit-eating grin on his face announcing his victory, bringing you back to your senses.
“Oh no..” you curse under your breath, fear in your eyes.
“Do it. Now,” he orders, “call him. I can’t believe you actually forgot.” he shakes his head, laughing to himself, “oh, well, I did think you would, but something inside of me still had a little bit of hope.” he shrugs, watching you nervously sweat under his gaze.
“I can’t!”
“It was a bet, you little bitch! Do it now or I’m telling him!” he yells, motioning to your phone and glaring at you for the thousandth time that day, making you take it with shaky fingers and a deep sigh coming out of your mouth, dialing your best friend’s number, because truth be told, maybe you do fear your roommate just a little bit. He is short, but full of angst and rage for this world and you didn’t want to be the victim of that.
“Hello?” Minho asks, making you tremble even more with the reality hitting you.
“M-Minho?” you call into the phone, biting on your nails as you put your phone on speaker so Felix can watch you do the biggest mistake of your short life.
“Yeah?” he asks nonchalantly, making your heart skip a beat.
“I love you.” you deadpan, hearing the other side of the line get silent. It’s not an outcome you predicted, but it’s not the one you would like to hear either.
After a while, there’s a short snicker coming out of the speaker followed by a teasing question that makes you instantly roll your eyes. “Who doesn’t?”
And you chose this as your object of interest? You huff, instantly getting irritated as all of your nerves leave your body. “I love you, Minho.”
“Did you drink?” he asks, “I mean, I know it’s only like 4pm or something, but with you and Felix living together, you never know…”
“No, I didn’t drink anything. I’m completely sober-” you prompt to say, getting cut off by your best friend again, his voice coming out in a rushed statement.
“Okay, I have a class in like 5 minutes and I haven’t gone out of my apartment yet, so please don’t get wasted and I’ll see you soon, bye!” and with that, he gives you no time to answer as he ends the call, leaving you sitting shocked in your living room with a silent phone in your hand and a moment to take in.
“So... I guess it went good?” you mumble, raising your eyebrows at your roommate that just shakes his head at you.
“You’re gonna try tomorrow again. I’m not letting you go before he takes your confession seriously.”
“Felix-”
“No excuses.” he glares.
You had to clean out the dishwasher that afternoon anyway.

TUESDAY
You decide to follow your promise you gave to Felix, because in your words, mamma ain’t raise no bitch, and you also, admittedly, can’t stop thinking about the words you said to him ever since you got them out of your mouth. There was a sense of relief overflowing your body after your confession that tells you that maybe, this wasn’t such a bad idea as you first thought it was.
You confess to your best friend on the second day of the week again. It’s tuesday and you two meet in a coffee shop, talking about how your week was. You two were quite busy with school and classes, so it was hard for you two to talk, but you quickly caught up and your conversations were still as comfortable as ever, as if nothing happened and you didn’t just spill out your heart to him the day before.
You think that maybe, he even forgot. Who knows? Lee Minho was quite the individual.
Once the barista calls for his name and he comes to take his order, you watch him with a look you only imagine can resonate the textbook version of heart eyes. It’s hard for you to look anywhere else-- you have eyes only for him. It’s quite silly, you think. You managed to fall for him even though all he’s ever done was tease you and laugh at you.
Well… that’s not all. And you know that. To a stranger, it might seem like your relationship is strictly like two siblings. You two tease each other more than you actually have serious talks, but that doesn’t mean Minho isn’t a good listener that always offers you the most honest advice. His humour is also the only thing that could get you through your hard days sometimes and for that, you’re forever thankful.
So once you step outside of the coffee shop and walk side by side on the sidewalk, you decide to go for it again. Because what could go wrong, right?
“Minho, I love you.” you say, voice much more steadier than yesterday, watching him react.
But exactly in the moment you do so, the cup of coffee in his hands slips out of his grasp and falls to the ground, making him wince and scowl, because truth be told, his only love is and always has been the americano now spilled all over the concrete.
“A terrible decision, really.” he mutters, taking the empty cup from the ground and throwing it out to the bin, sighing to himself.
You offer to share your coffee with him. He teases you for drinking latte.

WEDNESDAY
Wednesdays are the hardest for your best friend. You know this, because you know him too well. You know his schedule by heart and you also know when he’s having a hard time-- you are his best friend, after all. You can see it on him even in the slightest change in his eyes.
You visit him at his apartment on Wednesday with some takeout in your hand, knowing he doesn’t have the time and energy to cook on this particular day.
His classes start in the early morning and they end in the late afternoon-- leaving him exhausted, only to be going to his dance classes in the evening. They always tire him out even more. It breaks your heart to see him getting home with dark circles under his eyes and fair skin, but you can’t really do anything about it-- it’s his schedule, after all. All you can do for him is be there with takeout in your hand, waiting on his bright yellow sofa (you were strongly against this color, but he just didn’t care about your opinion. Or he bought it just for the exact same reason, who knows) until he comes home, ready to hear him complain about his day.
And he does exactly that-- he comes home a few minutes after you sneaked into his apartment with the spare key he nonchalantly gave you once when you hung out, falling down face-first onto the sofa with an exaggerated sigh, screaming into the cushions.
“Hard day?” you ask, voice soft and considerate.
He answers you with a hum before he sits up again, coming closer to where you’re sitting on the sofa, taking the takeout from the bag sitting at the coffee table and sitting on the floor in front of you, right between your legs. You don’t know why he does that, but it’s become a tradition at this point-- he sits at the floor, even though he has plenty of space on the sofa to sit on, and you sit right behind him, legs on either side of his body, nudging him with your heels when you feel like teasing him.
“Thanks for coming,” he mumbles, getting the chopsticks and munching on his food, chewing out loud-- a sign that it tastes good and you made a good choice on picking his dinner today.
“It’s not a big deal, I always come over anyways,” you answer, smiling down at him.
He only nods at you, but you see his composure shift in the way he aimlessly stares at the wall-- he doesn’t feel good. It’s not only the exhaustion today. There must be something else going on.
“Are you okay?” you ask, bringing him out of his thoughts.
“Yeah,” he nods, continuing to eat, “it’s just… I feel so useless today.” he shrugs, snickering to himself.
“Why?” you simply state.
“We’re learning this new choreography and I just can’t get it right…” he mumbles, not once meeting your eye as he explains what’s on his mind. Minho doesn’t say a lot, but somehow, you always entirely know how he feels.
You sigh, shifting a little in your seat so you’re closer to the boy sitting on the floor, tenderly bringing your fingers into his hair. You brush it away from his forehead, playing with it, as you quietly speak up, wanting to heal your best friend’s heavy heart.
“It’s just a bad day, Minho. It will be okay, I promise. You just have to rest, okay?” you mumble, continuing to play with his hair. “You’ll get the dancing right in no time. So don’t worry about that, yeah?”
“Hmm,” he hums in a mix of pleasure and acknowledgement, closing his eyes momentarily before he puts the empty box of takeout on the coffee table and leans back into your touch, “fine. Wanna sleep over and watch a movie?”
You shake your head in disbelief at how quickly his mood changes, giggling. “Okay.”
“Okay,” he nods, but doesn’t move from your touch. You watch him from up close, tracing the sculpted features of his face, admiring his beauty, when you decide to say the three words again, nonchalantly and randomly, as always.
“I love you, Minho.”
“Thanks.”

THURSDAY
You wake up to the sunlight aggressively shining into your eyes, scowling a little and cursing at Lee Minho under your breath, because he is the only person you know that doesn’t close their blinds before going to sleep. You thank the gods for not having a morning class today, trying to force yourself to go back to sleep, when you hear loud cursing from the kitchen, prompting you to hurriedly stand up and rush to the room, watching a disaster happen right in front of your eyes.
“Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck-” you hear, seeing something set to flames on the stove-- you think it’s eggs, by the carton placed on the kitchen counter, but you really can’t recognise the object when it’s coal black and burning.
“What’s going on?” you nervously ask, watching the scene unfold.
“A fire.” your best friend says, making you laugh.
You just shake your head at him, taking a seat at his kitchen table, not even rushing to help. Watching him struggle is much more fun anyway, and you know he’ll figure it out eventually-- he’s an engineering student. He’s smart.
“Are you not going to help?” he glares at you, putting the pan under the sink, flashing water on the hot surface.
“Not really, no,” you shake your head in innocence, seeing how the hot oil reacts with water in a small explosion, almost burning your best friend’s fingers off as he quickly lets go of the object and curses loudly again, taking a step back.
“How did this all even happen?” you ask, watching him sigh and take out another pan, cracking an egg on top of it and letting it cook.
“I was looking for Dori and forgot I had eggs on the stove…” he scratches the back of his head, laughing a little at himself.
“Right. Yeah. Why didn’t I think of that? I’m such an idiot,” you propose, laughing with him. It’s such a Minho thing to do, you don’t even feel surprised anymore.
Minho then finishes cooking the eggs, serving them to you on a small, white plate, acting like a chef as he takes a seat on the chair opposite of yours, eating his own creation as well.
“Is it good?” he asks, watching you fierclessly nod at him with big eyes and full mouth.
“It’s amazing. I was starving, really, so these eggs really hit different right now,” you mumble out, “Thanks Minho, I love you.”
It slips out casually now. It’s been four days and your best friend doesn’t seem to notice the change in your behaviour, but you don’t really even care at this point. Maybe it’s easier for you this way, after all.
Minho just hysterically laughs at you like a maniac this time, not even finding words to say back as he finishes the breakfast he made with so much struggle, and maybe even the tiniest bit of care.

FRIDAY
The cars behind the window blur into themselves as you drive down the street, sitting on the passenger seat of your best friend’s car. You smile fondly at him when he shortly glances at you from his place, driving with ease down the neighbourhood you live in, the raindrops angrily falling at the surface of the car making it hard for the two of you to even listen to music on your drive home.
“Thanks for driving me home, you’re a lifesaver,” you say when you’re near your apartment complex.
“Well, I have to take care of you since you’re too stupid to get driver’s licence,” he shrugs, grining.
“I’m not stupid!”
“You failed the test twice!”
“I was stressed!” you argue, laughing at him.
He shakes his head at you, parking in front of your building, waiting for you to get out with your things and run into your apartment. You don’t forget your ritual, though, looking him in the eye before you leave, muttering the cursed eight letters again before saying goodbye.
“I love you.”
“Why?” he asks, eyebrows furrowed. There’s a hint of amusement hitting his features, but confusion is a feeling overpowering on his face when he speaks to you.
“What do you mean, why?” you shake your head.
“Why do you keep saying that?”
“Because it’s true?” you answer, sounding more like a question, though, watching his expression change into even more confused one.
“But like… why?”
“That’s a stupid question.” you scoff. You feel your palms sweating, trying to nonchalantly wipe them on your pants, the stress finally falling on your shoulders when you’re being questioned.
“It’s not. Answer me.” he insists, pouting at you like a little child in the store when their parents don't want to buy them something.
“Because you’re my best friend? I don’t know,” you sigh, hurriedly taking your backpack from the floor, opening the door wide to escape the conversation, “bye!”
You run into your apartment, breathing heavily as you take off your shoes and reach the living room, seeing your roommate laying sprawled out on the sofa in his usual manner. This is a situation for a short australian man to cope with, if you’ve ever seen one.
“Felix, I think I fucked up.”
Tumblr media
SATURDAY
After a long, long conversation with Felix about your feelings and how you think you ruined it all, you think your mood couldn’t be worse. You feel like you either completely missed your chance by telling Minho you love him only because he’s your best friend, or you messed it all up and made your friendship awkward by saying so and he finally caught on to what your words really mean.
You walk around the apartment like a stressed-out shell without a soul, chewing on your bottom lip at all times, when you hear the bell on your door ring, throwing you out of your thoughts as you run to see who’s there bugging you in the late hours of the evening.
“What are you doing here so late?” you ask Minho, caught off-guard.
“I was bored,” he shrugs, looking down to his feet. You want the ground to swallow you whole. It’s suddenly hard to stand there in front of him-- it only deepens how embarrassed and frustrated you feel.
“Do you wanna go out for a walk?” he asks, raising his eyebrows up at you in question.
“Sure,” you shrug, following him outside.
You walk by his side, feeling your hands slightly brush against each other from time to time, making you shudder with the unexpected contact. You’ve never felt more nervous than now-- and you took your driving test twice, so that really tells you something.
“Why are you so quiet? Did something happen?” he asks, slightly nudging you with his elbow.
“What? No,” you shake your head, “everything’s fine.” you smile.
“Are you sure? I know I can be a dick sometimes, but you know I’m always here for you,” he says, gazing into your face with such fondness it actually comforts you.
“Yeah, I know,” you nod, “thanks.” you sigh.
A few more steps later, though, the sentence slips out of your mouth again, and you don’t even try to fight it as you let it go. It feels natural to say it now. You’re getting used to it, yet, the feeling he makes you feel always somehow shifts-- but still stays the same as well.
“I love you.”
A nervous laugh is all he gives you, hugging you to his side with his arm, keeping you close to shield you from the cold.

SUNDAY
And when the clock passes midnight and Minho’s still sitting in your room, you feel like somehow, you two have never been closer. You managed to confess to him every day for the past week and he’s still by your side. It’s a change to your relationship, but you don’t feel like it’s causing you trouble anymore.
You sit in silence, just enjoying each other’s presence. You don’t have a clue why he didn’t want to leave yet, but you don’t mind him staying. He brings your soul another kind of comfort-- like the morning by the sea, just listening to the waves hitting the shore, the distant chirping of birds lulling you back to sleep.
His hands rest on your calves, your legs thrown over his lap as he sits up on your bed, his back pressed against the wall. You lay there, watching him in the moonlight. You had to turn the lights off, because Felix’s room is right opposite yours and the landlord didn’t let you change the door, meaning you both had an old, white door with a big glass window in the middle of it, letting the lights shine right to the other’s room at night.
He tickles you in the spark of the moment, making you laugh quietly. You don’t want to wake Felix up, or else he’ll get mad at you, and once again, you don’t play with a short australian boy, or you’ll get burned-- you know that by now.
“Stop it!” you whisper-shout at him, sitting up and moving away from him.
He chases you on the bed, though, his fingers laying everywhere on your body, lightly tickling the skin of your stomach when his hands slip under your pyjama shirt. You push them away, squeeking with the coldness of his fingertips, tears threatening to fall from your eyes at the force of your laugh.
He stops, falling down to the bed next to you, heavy breathing being the only thing heard in the quiet room. His hand slowly makes its way to your thigh, resting there delicately. You curse at the butterflies rising in your stomach-- you want to shout at them to go away, but hell, is it a good feeling. It’s like you’re torturing yourself, but it’s a sweet torture. You wouldn’t change it in the slightest.
And so then and there, after confessing to him for six days straight, you decide to try again, with as much sincerity as you can, because suddenly, there’s something inside of you telling you that this time, it might actually work.
“I love you.”
And perhaps, you’re not wrong, because with the shuffling of the sheets, he turns his body to yours, facing you. He stares into your eyes, smiling softly at your face, the action looking angelic sitting on his features.
“I love you too,” he confesses in the dark.
