Back then I asked what elemental power @yugirl-with-dragons and @savage5dskids​  would give to the kids.

I hope you can see that her power is about wind...?  The Alien thing... I wanted to give her a wind spirit. I didn’t know how to make it look like and what color to make it so... why not a pink alien thing?  What do you mean Kaori wouldn’t summon a pink spirit?

5d’s Greatest Showman AU

Saw @yugirl-with-dragons‘s AMAZING Greatest Showman Au art and we couldn’t stop ourselves. We are absolute trash for this film so here is our take on a 5d’s Au for it. 

Yusei is Barnum cause he just wants everyone to be loved and accepted.

Jack is Philip the aristocrat, I mean come on- he needs to afford that blue eyes white dragon coffee somehow. And Jack would be the one to enjoy being center stage at the end of it. Probably doubles as a fire breather cause he has to one up everyone. 

ANN THE ACROBAT IS CARLY, Jack doesn't believe it is her at first cause she doesn't wear her glasses while performing. Carly is still pursuing journalism but it is incredibly difficult for a woman to be given a chance. Carly is the one who introduces Jack to “commoner food” as Jack loves to put it. He refuses to admit how much he enjoys it. (think instant ramen, though that wont be invented for several more decades)

Aki is Yusei's sweetheart that he has every intent on marrying but gets swept up in this business. Yusei starts gathering the ‘oddities’ because people were shitting on Aki for her psychic powers.

Realizing there was a need for a place where unusual people would be safe, welcomed and could call home -Yusei being how he is- made it his job. In giving everyone a way to show off their differences he hopes the everyday person will grow to love them and not be so hateful. Especially when it comes to his dear Aki.
