All she was was burning. Fire raged through her veins, eating her from the inside out, clawing through her heart, her throat, her lungs, her belly, and her arms. Voices echoed in her head, familiar, and yet different somehow.

Then came the immense pressure from Rainbow Dragon's words, clanging through her skull like a cacophony of bells pounding on the walls of her soul, surging through her in waves of nausea and vertigo.

The presence of the crystal, lifted through the power of creation and reconstructed in the center of the altar, washed the fire away like a cleansing stream. Ripples of light wavered around her, surging through her spirit. For every part of her that she tore away, trying to redirect Johan's overwhelming, overflowing power, the crystal reformed her soul as if nothing had happened. She was drawing on an infinite well of power, channeling all of Johan's energy, converting it into her own, and using it to fuel the ruins, building more and more, restoring to it what time had stolen away.

She couldn't look at the scene unfolding before her. She was too focused on Johan laying in front of her, his wounds sealing thanks to the energy of the crystal. Judai's thigh injury-- yes, she'd caught a glimpse of the blood flinging off his body as he flew past her Runner-- must have gotten healed by that light too. She hoped, anyway.

Johan's blood was drying on the furs he rested on. She listened to the echoes of the past, remnants of the power this temple once housed. A peek of what once was.

"I'm... I'm okay," she answered. The cascade of light around her rushed coolly through her body, purging the burning heat from within. With the Crimson Dragon's power, the crystal fueling her spirit, and the light she bore within, she continued to reassemble the ruins, and stayed quiet, both in concentration and respect, to continue listening as history repeated itself anew.

Judai released his hold on Johan, the gentle darkness crackling at his fingertips as he instead focuses on keeping the Light of destruction OUT of this place for good.

Instead, his gaze extends to the newer scenery that's cropped up due to Sylvia's diverting of the energy. Breathing new life into a place that leaves him quite frankly breathless, almost making it hard to breathe but something that was purely Johan. Something that was purely his light. He's barely able to admire the statues that cropped up, the reconstruction of the area surprising, yet... Something that wasn't all too surprising considering Sylvia's title. She was a signer after all, her power was creation.

His trepidation lies within the sudden voice that rings out, making him tense and whirl around, eyes changing immediately before his gaze draws to the crystals that play out a story.. Or no. Rather history. .... He finds himself stepping aside as the young man walks past him- something that Yubel snorts at as he was merely a recreation after all- history often repeated itself. And it seems as though this was no exception.

Judai's gaze immediately is drawn back to Johan as the words pass through his lips, though it flicks back and forth between the parents and their child.. Was this what a real family looked like..? He couldn't help but wonder, but he shook off the thought and moved closer toward Sylvia, moving to stand away from the scene playing out.

Thou cannot stray him from war, his path has always been carved in the essence of life that flows within thine veins. Thou is…incensed with recent events. The crystal grows too soon, cast thou veil upon thine. Perhaps failure will not consume him before the decade passes.

Rainbow's words echoed within his mind as he watches it play out like a movie. He almost wonders if this is what she means. He finds himself looking upward toward the onyx before his gaze lands squarely on Sylvia.

All he could do right now was make sure none of that light could get back in, but with the way things were going... It might be a bit of a rollercoaster from here.. A tale of ups and downs... But that was nothing new. As the light crackles across his skin, warmth rather than the harsh electricity from before. ... Things might just be alright. "How are you holding up Syl?"

'Scholars believe European farmers came up with the term "Beetle of Our Lady" after they prayed to the Virgin Mary to save their crops from pests and noticed that a tiny red beetle came to eat the insects hurting their crops.' That's from Wonderopolis.org. So 'Beetle of Our Lady' became shortened to 'ladybug'."

"Then I think your answer, Judai, is that male ladybugs are still called ladybugs."

sae was tired, watching tv with natsuki. he wasn't paying attention. it's was boring to him(no offence natsu.) but then that scene comes on. blood blood blood everywhere. he blinks, once, twice before bonking natsuki on her head lightly. "what happened to barbie? who told you to watch this?" "sakura!" "tsk. should've guessed it." he bonks her on her head again before changing the channel.

it was sakura who dragged her papa with her to watch the show. rin crossed his arms as he watched. but he wasn't impressed. "papa, just wait!" sakura said. so he waited and he watched. he raised his eyebrow when the scene came up. he looked at sakura who was engrossed in the cartoon. he sighs, changing the channel. "papa—!" as much as rin found those gore cartoons interesting, he'd rather her watch something else. "just watch crime documentaries. they're more interesting."

papa yoichi sat on the couch with kaito on his lap. beside him sat yuki, so so focused on the cartoon. this is kinda fun. yoichi thought. but then—SPLASH BLOOD LIMBS EVERYWHERE. yoichi's eyes widen and kaito, scared, burried his face into yoichi's chest while yuki watched without blinking. "yuki!?" "mhm papa?" "why are you watching this!?" "it's entertaining!" "it's not!?" yuki chuckles, calling her papa silly. but he simply changes the channel. "watch soccer or barbie or even cupcake tutorials." "but happy tree friends is interesting!" "there's nothing happy. it's psychological warfare."

michael paused. then he flipped through more of anne's sketches. it was all detailed gory works. he blinked, walking into the living room to see what anne was watching. at first, it was just cute cartoons. but then the horror! michael connected the dots. so that's where she got the inspiration from. he clicked his tongue, shaking his head. he stands infront of anne, blocking the view of the tv screen. "papa—!" "watch shrek or something. hopefully that's no different from what you're watching...i think."
