NCT 127 in Atlanta

Hopefully I can organize my thoughts into something semi-coherent!

So I guess I’ll just try to do this based on the order of events for the concert. (And hopefully I can remember everything. It went by so fast and I was kinda just living in and enjoying the moment. Unfortunately I feel like that meant I wasn’t trying to commit enough of the experience to memory -- unintentionally of course). 

For reference, I had balcony seats on the right side of the stage when you’re looking @ it. So my experience in terms of member interactions and perceptions will probably be different from people in the pit directly in front of them. 

I’ll start with merch! I had no issues getting what I wanted and it seemed like they had plenty of everything! However, the venue was kinda small so that might have had something to do with it. 

While we were all waiting on the concert to start they would periodically play music videos and it was really nice hearing everyone sing along! They started maybe 10 minutes late at most? But thinking of other concerts I’ve been to before, that’s really nothing. 

They started with Cherry Bomb and it was fantastic! Really the whole concert was fantastic so I’m not going to go through each song and say that because... this would end up getting incredibly repetitive. 

The first person I ended up making eye contact with was Yuta. And let me tell you, that was just the start of some really heart-fluttering interactions. I felt like he was one of the ones to make the biggest effort to look in the balcony areas. Pretty sure we locked eyes the most. At one point he looked up and I ended up with this giant smile on my face as soon as he did and then he smiled this incredibly breath-taking smile. I’ve honestly not stopped thinking about it since. 

I felt like Taeyong was a GIANT flirt the entire time. At one point I saw him looking at the girls next to me for what felt like a full minute and wiggled his eyebrow at them. I’m amazed they didn’t all melt tbh. He also winked at people quite a few times. He made a huge effort to speak english most of the time though and that was pretty cute. Not to mention he’s somehow more gorgeous irl. 

At some point during one of the first few ments, Johnny got us all to do the wave.

Later, they performed Jet Lag, which is going to be on their new album. And it was truly incredible. They were all really excited that we loved it so much because it was something a little different for them. 

After that, vocal line performed Timeless and No Longer. This was also the point that a girl in the pit passed out. The boys looked really concerned while they were trying to get her out to get her some help. I think I ended up seeing one other girl pass out and another one almost pass out. So this is my PSA: please please please take care of yourselves out there. Try to stay as hydrated as possible. Dress comfortably and in something that you won’t get too hot in. At least at this venue, the balcony even got hot. So I can only imagine how bad it was down there. Stay safe everyone! 

Then they left the stage and Johnny came out to do Regular to Irregular. This was the transition into Regular, and they had each member come out individually to put on their suit jackets. And let me just tell you, I never knew seeing a man put on a suit jacket could be so hot but whew. They all looked gorgeous. 

Not sure if any of you had heard about this previously, but after Regular is when they brought out the jungle gym type thing for Wake Up and Baby Don’t Like It. Tbh I was just concerned the whole time that one of them would fall and hurt themselves. But it was still really cool regardless! 

Mad City was next and let me tell you... seeing it performed live was pretty intense. 

They played a VCR next that let into a “dance battle” of sorts with Yuta, Jungwoo, and Haechan that was really interesting! I thought the VCR was genuinely pretty funny and the dance battle was good! (It was also at this point that they changed into their brighter outfits that I thought were interesting to say the least lol). 

During Replay (iirc), they all got light sticks and were waving them with the crowd. They were super high energy at this part and it was a lot of fun! It did really make me wish I had gotten a light stick though. By this time in the concert, I think I had made eye contact with Johnny a few times as well! Nothing specific to note there, but I felt my heart skip a beat every time it happened lol

Then they had another ment and talked about how they were sad the show was “almost over.” Doyoung was always the one closest to my side for their ments and he was just so damn cute. He was the representative for Atlanta and every time he said “My city, Atlanta,” I just felt so proud lol. You could also see him sorta rehearsing/mouthing to himself what he was going to say next while the other members were talking. It was so cute. He spoke really well and it seemed like he really enjoyed his time here! Oh! And a little before this (it was during Replay I’m pretty sure), they had confetti pop out and at one point I caught Doyoung tilting his head up with a giant smile on his face sorta basking in the falling confetti. I’m still kicking myself for not managing to get a picture of it because it felt like such a genuine and sweet moment. 

They performed 2 more songs and after that the show was over. (But of course we all knew about the planned encore). So we all started cheering for them to come back out. And that’s when they played a Highway to Heaven VCR and boy oh boy did they look incredible in that. Not to mention the song was really great, as expected. 

After that, they all came back out in some form or another of sparkly suit and I was LIVING for Jaehyun’s jacket... and just Jaehyun in general. He’s also somehow more gorgeous in person. But to be fair... they all were and I was constantly feeling a little overwhelmed with how good they looked. Oh and I forgot to mention that because of where I was sitting, I could usually see them moving to get on stage. So right before this quite a few of them had their makeup artists following them doing quick touch-ups. 

They performed Superhuman, which was also fantastic. And a little later on, Mark noted that the version they performed that night was different from any other version they’ve done because they’re still always tweaking and improving it before it’s fully released. 

Then they split into 2 groups to go change again, which I thought was kinda funny considering they had literally just changed into their sparkle outfits. The first group were the “youngsters” (Haechan, Mark, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Doyoung) and they talked about what they liked about Atlanta. And of course I recorded some of it because I’m a sucker for people hyping up my city. Jaehyun said he really loved the weather. And he wasn’t wrong, the weather the past few days has been incredible. I’m glad they came when they did because if they had come any later in the month it probably would’ve been ridiculously hot. Doyoung talked about the food he and Jungwoo ate when they went on their “date.” It always came back to food for him lol it was so cute. They also mentioned quite a few times that they went to the aquarium. I’m definitely looking forward to the video they got while they were in Atlanta! 

The first group to change came back and they were in tour shirts and black pants. And honestly what a look, I was so into it. This group were the older “cool guys” (Johnny, Yuta, Taeyong, and Taeil). And they ended up doing a little contest to see who looked the coolest. They started with playing rock paper scissors to decide the order. Then each of them had to do a pose and the most/loudest cheers would decide the winner. Taeyong went first and he teased the whole damn audience by making a move to look like he was about to lift his shirt, but didn’t. And then did the cutest pose I’ve ever seen. But at first it was funny because they were all trying to accuse him of cheating because he was wearing his Christian Dior visor backwards w/ the brand clearly showing. Next was Yuta and he did two poses, sexy and then cute. He had on a bucket hat and my god I’ve never liked bucket hats all that much... but Yuta looks gorgeous in one. Tbh I can’t remember who was third and fourth between Johnny and Taeil... but they both also did cute and sexy poses. And let me just note that ATL loved tf out of Johnny. Oh man he was really being hyped up by the crowd. During his poses, the members were making fun of him saying the was his ear was folded up because of his mic was really cool (I don’t think Johnny had realized his ear was all scrunched up before that). It was pretty funny. Then he fixed it and continued with his pose. Anyway, by the end instead of announcing the winner, Taeyong said he thought we were the coolest. Truly the king of fanservice. I think they briefly had a chance to talk about what they liked about Atlanta before the second group to change came back. 

After they were all back, I think that was when Johnny was trying to hype us up again by having us yell ‘yeah’ after they yelled ‘oh’. Johnny had started to elaborate more and then Mark was basically like, ‘yeah dude, they’ll do it... just go’ lol. That was also when Johnny said ‘I don’t know, I just like to experiment’. It was pretty funny. 

Then they performed Summer 127 and this was when they got their baskets with balls in them to throw. I just thought they were plain old balls, whatever. I figured if I caught one that would be cool and I’d keep it as something to remember the concert by. And I did get one! This was probably when I managed to make eye contact with the rest of the members that I hadn’t previously because they all made a conscious effort to throw them to people in balcony seating as well. Anyway, it wasn’t until someone in my group (who had also managed to get a ball) pointed it out that I saw they were signed. Each member’s basket had balls they had signed themselves. I got one from Jungwoo! He signed it and put Zeus underneath. Then under that it says ‘Love you’ with a heart. Truly one of the coolest things to ever be thrown into a crowd at a concert. I’m going to cherish it forever. The person in my group who also got a ball from Jaehyun AND LET ME JUST TELL YOU. I was excited for her (and lowkey jealous of her too) when I saw the interaction surrounding him throwing the ball to her. He threw it and when she caught it he sorta tipped his head back and gave this smug ass look. It was probably the rudest thing I’ve ever seen and he just looked so beautiful doing it. 

They had their final ending ment after that, and I recorded all 10 minutes of that because why not. They all (minus Johnny, Mark, and Jaehyun) spoke Korean and had a translator for the final one. And it was nice to see them speak more comfortably. While I really appreciated all the hard work that went into making an effort to speak mostly in english, you could tell it was a little bit of a strain for some of them. They promised that they would come back to Atlanta! So I’m hoping they stay true to that! Because I have it recorded (and idk how many people will have even read this far) and this is half just for myself to be able to remember the concert better, I won’t go into too much detail about the ending ment. 

And after performing 0 mile and getting a picture with the crowd (with Doyoung wearing his Atlanta sash... so so so cute), that was it! The whole experience was really amazing and I’d go see them in concert again in a heartbeat! 

I thought I’d also have some overall thoughts to share at the end to wrap it up a little nicer, but I basically covered them all already. I’ll probably post some pictures (and maybe another video or two) in separate posts. Oh yeah and this concert also made me realize I’m horrible at getting good action shots lol. Almost none of my pictures of them dancing look good because I caught them at awkward times.

his members are just so loud and full of energy most of the time

literally every single activity you can think of from dance practice to photoshoots to cooking for the dreamies

he stays up later than usual to get that one tricky move in the choreo just right

he works out more because he thinks he has to look absolutely perfect for when they shoot the mv

jisung asked for ramen? he’s making it but you bet your ass he’s spending over 40 minutes just chopping so

AND STUFF THAT JISUNG WON’T EVEN EAT

but he’s doing it anyway for the reason being that it just has to be the Best™

and it’s not like he’s competing with anyone else to be diligent

this is just about being better than he was and showing himself—and maybe you—how painstakingly hardworking and driven he can be

and i need to point out this is NOT about making you change your bias from jaemin to him, this is solely about having you recognize his efforts, even if you already do

turns out it’s a habit of jeno to go extra hard sometimes and he needs someone to make him take a break

so it goes down like you breaking into the practice room when jeno and jisung were practising

and he knows jaemin must have talked to you, and he feels so vulnerable to have you know how on edge he’s been

baby boy just needs some rest

and that’s exactly what you give him, with a bath full of those fancy bath bombs and flower petals and candles at your house/apt

then a quick sheet mask while you massage his shoulders and keep saying how much you genuinely admire him

the mask might be ruined cus he started crying out of exhaustion

after that’s been done and you’ve hugged for at least like 5 min nonstop, you head over to the dorms, where hyuck was in charge of setting up a blanket fort while mork and nana gather board games, jisung gets the food and chenle

well chenle just had to make sure jisung doesn’t forget to order for someone and doesn’t break like 10 plates trying to set the table lol

this is way longer than the others so imma wrap it up

make it obvious and loud that you see and respect jeno’s hard work and he’ll be alright again

and maybe make those game nights a weekly thing when possible, it would make him very happy

he’ll never again feel sad when you praise jaemin cus now he’s sure he does enough, and above all, he is enough

A rumor was going around the campus that you like Taeil. He would probably be shy and all. Tries to avoid you because he doesnt know what to do if you’re near. and not because he doesnt feel the same way but because he likes you too and the thought of you liking him sparks him in the deepest of his heart. He would feel butterflies in his stomach every time you’re around and wont stop thinking about you.  He’s the type to not tell anyone about his feelings and try to resolve it by himself but his friends can clearly see that Taeil wants you to be his. 

So one time when he and his friends saw you at the cafeteria alone. One of them yelled “Hey Y/N! Taeil likes you too!”. Many people heard it, you felt embarassed so you ran away. Meanwhile, Taeil’s friends pushed him that he should follow you.... and he did. ‘Its the perfect chance’ he thought to himself. 

He saw you at the soccer field sitting on the bench. “Hey. uhm.. sorry for my friend’s behavior.” he then sat beside you. “i-its okay..” you said looking down.

“I kinda wanna tell you something personally.” Taeil chuckled nervously 

“t-tell me what?”

You received a text from Doyoung saying he’s gonna come over your house but he didnt include any reason why. You fixed yourself a bit and wait for him.

Treats you like his girlfriend but denies when his friends tease him for it. He is the type of guy that even tho he wants to express his emotions he often end up shutting himself. 

It’s weekend and Johnny invited you to go out and get some ice cream. You usually do this so you treat it like a friendly hangout instead of a romantic date. 

“She’ll have cookies and cream.” Johnny told the cashier and winked at you. You often order that flavor so you thought, of course Johnny will know.

“y-y/n! uhmm...bye!” He was really shocked when you called him and tried to run away but you stopped him. You opened your lockers and saw an envelope. 

“So, it was you, huh?” you grinned while poking his arms.

Tries to cover himself by acting cool and tough but he really is a soft boy. He’s that type to be too much shy to talk to you alone but when his friends are around he acts confident.  He likes you but is too shy to admit it. Tries to start a conversation but always stutter and end up being awkward. His mind goes blank whenever you speak and when he see you. His eyes will be glued to you and he will be unable to process anything. 

When his squad held a sleepover at Winwin’s house, his friends dared him to confess to you. He said no but later that night, when all of them were asleep...He mumbles to himself and wont stop thinking of you. What If I do it now? he thought. After few moments of planning, he set aside his fear and worry, grabbed his phone and texted you. 

“Hey, Are you still up?” he tapped his fingers due to nervousness. It took you few minutes to reply and Winwin almost lost his senses. 

“Yes. Why, Sicheng?” you replied.

“I want to ask you something.” 

“What is it?”

“If a guy confesses to you, what would be your reaction?”

“It depends. :D Why’d you ask?”

JUNGWOO

He is certain of his feelings for you but although he wants to tell you all about it, he doesnt have any idea how. Since he’s also a soft boy, he often stares at you from afar and admire you without getting caught by anybody. He automatically smile when he see you or you talk to him. He’s good at pretending like he’s not going crazy whenever you’re there. Puts up an innocent look every time but hell, he wants to scream how much much he likes you. 

He asked his friend, Lucas for an advice and they came up with a plan to just simply...admit it in front of you.  But the problem is, Jungwoo is still too shy to execute the plans so he asked Lucas to come with him for support just in case he messed up. Jungwoo waited for you outside your campus. He’s definitely nervous but Lucas was their to assure him and calm him down. 

“Y-Y/N!” he called you. You turned and greeted him. 

“I need to tell you something.” Man, he’s breathing heavy. 

“I know this seem fast and sudden but.. I...” He looked at Lucas before continuing. Lucas signaled him a thumbs up. “Go on!” he said. 

“I like you..” he whispered. It was too noisy so you were unable to hear it. 

“Jungwoo can you say it again? I didnt hear you.” 

“I like you!” He winked and covered his face with his hands. He doesnt know why he did that. Adrenaline rush? Maybe. Panic? Maybe. 

He forced a smile before speaking again. “I like you so much and Im 100% sure. The way you move, the way you speak, and when you smile--everything. Are you aware that you make me feel this way?”

Unlike the other boys, he’s not afraid to show you how he really feel. He’ll probably serenade you almost every time just so you will be reminded how much he has fallen for you. Every time he see how you adore it when he’s singing makes him want to do it more. He does all that yet he cant bring himself to confirm anything. Haechan cant tell you the exact words so he showed you by actions and because of that, you find it hard to analyze what he wants you to know. 

But Haechan knew that every second he let to pass is more chances of loosing you. 

“y/n, listen to this.” he held on his guitar and played a song. 

“I love you too much, heaven’s my witness and this is a fact..You live in my soul...your heart is my goal.....” he sang swiftly like he’s singing you a lullaby.

The two of you never had a long conversation since Mark cant look at you long enough in the eye. Just a simple greeting from you can make him weak. This boy does not react like that on purpose he does it to save himself from spilling everything to you out of a sudden. He plays safe so he wont burst out how much your impact on him is. Besides, he’s a cheesy guy. He doesnt want you to know that cause he’s afraid you’ll be turned off. 

He once flinched when you call him on Cooking class. 

“oh my gosh, y/n, you startled me.” he said panting. 

“bro, I just called you?” 

“what did you call me for?” he said not looking at you.

You had been working at the local grocery store for about 4 months now

Chenle and Sicheng were your coworkers and they mostly kept to the cash register

While you were in charge of restocking and reorganizing shelves

“Lele, I swear if this dude does me dirty again”, you muttered as you leaned against chenle’s cash register stand and intently stared at the teenage boy three isles down eyeing the eggs

“y/n, it’s literally your job to put stuff back in their place after customers misplace them, what’s the problem with donghyuck?”, chenle questioned

“some points have been made,” sicheng stated while passing by with several cleaning products

Before you started working at the store you had found Donghyuck really adorable

And so cute how he always took his own cakes and variety of desserts to school to share with others

But then you got the job at the grocery store and kept getting scolded by your boss over products being in completely unrelated areas

In front of Sicheng and Chenle you pretended to mind but you secretly enjoyed seeing Hyuck so often

that didn’t seem to get lost in your coworkers tho, they smart

“Imagine having your whole crush offer everyone desserts but never one to you,” Sicheng mocked, squeezing your cheek before you hit his hand away

“Remember the time chenle got food poisoning after eating a cupcake from donghyuck?” You tried diverting the conversation

You pushed him off. “Donghyuck the evil baker attacked Chenle and you’re making jokes, you should be ASHAMED.”

“Yuta’s cooking is a joke in itself, it couldn’t be helped.”

“What you’d like to be able to call him is ‘donghyuck my evil baker.” Chenle laughed, “Sucks to suck!”

“Next time I hope he lets you starve, Chenle,” you replied before realizing Donghyuck had disappeared from view

And had disorganized the egg shelf for the fourth time that day

You heard a cart behind you and stepped aside to let the customer through

“It’s not my fault I always remember lots of recipes I could make but never bring enough money to get the ingredients for all of them,” Hyuck whined

“I’m sure that will be great to mention when all of us gather around your casket and reminisce about what a magnificent baker you were after ‘really cute’ y/n murders you,” sicheng joked, patting his head

“I’ll bake y/n the greatest cupcakes ever, she’ll just have to start liking me!” A determined look came over his face

Sicheng was about to expose the shiT out of you and say “she already does uwu date”

But you showed up

“Why are you talking about me?” you asked while approaching them after putting back four egg boxes and two packets of vanilla extract that you found sitting on top of a row of lettuce

“Hyuck here was just saying how he’s going to bake you the best cake you’ve ever tasted,” Chenle said and grinned madly before adding, “because you just have to start liking him!”

Not today, demon Chenle

You turned your head towards Donghyuck and tried to give him an unimpressed look

But the only thing your face did was become more red than a tomato

Then, Sicheng lied, “She’s lactose intolerant”

“I can bake without milk! It’s okay!” he enthusiastically replied

“Turns out she’s also vegan so no eggs or any dairy for her,” Chenle added

Donghyuck frowned, confused as to why they thought of that as a problem. “There are many good vegan recipes out there, I’ll find the most delicious one!”

“Yeah, y/n only eats cabbages here, that’s why we always have such a low quantity,” Sicheng said with mischief in his tone, “she always steals them!”

“Such a cabbage worm, this one!”

“I can totally come up with a cabbage cupcake recipe, it’ll be so much fun!” Hyuck said excitedly

With that he patted your hair before picking up his four grocery bags and walking out of the store after bidding you and your coworkers goodbye

“Did he just pat your head?” Chenle said in between loud laughs

“Is that the first thing you question? Not the fact that he’s going to bake cabbage cupcakes for y/n?” Sicheng snorted

“I’ll force feed you both the cupcakes”

After your shift ended you headed towards your locker 

In front of which you found a soft pink bag with a white box inside

You stared at it for a bit

It didn’t seem to have any card to indicate who it was for

You crouched down, took out the box and placed it on top of the bag

You opened it only to find nine cupcakes all decorated as cabbages made up of different colored icing

On the inside of the top of the box a message read:

     “I attempted to make cabbage flavored cupcakes but Mark threw up after trying one so (even if you are a lover of cabbage) I didn’t want to take that risk with you… i hope you like chocolate! I mean, everyone likes chocolate, right?”

It was signed with Donghyuck’s name and it had a cute smiley cabbage drawn beside it 

You heard a tap on the long windown by your left

You lifted your head up and found Hyuck waving at you and making gestures for you to try one

You got up and got in front of him on your own side of the window, bringing the box with you

After picking an especially adorable cabbage-decorated cupcake that had rosy cheeks you took a bite out of it

You dramatically placed your hands on your chest

“They’re good, right?” he mouthed with a proud look on his face

“I think I might die? Hyuck the evil baker has tried to poison me by feeding me something other than cabbage!”

ah so i started reading kubera back in 2011? possibly 2010 and my favorite character keeps changing. when I first started reading there were only like 15 chapters out. i remember when i first saw asha based on my extensive knowledge of manga and my also fairly extensive knowledge of manhwa i was like “mmmm if i had to guess i’d guess male” even after seeing the skirt. really such a shame currygom didn’t make asha trans, nonbinary instead of continually shoving asha into the category of “female”. truly a shame currygom’s a conservative. anyways as the series went on and we spent a lot of time in atera, agni started climbing my character ranking. gandharva was never my favorite but he did get pretty high at one point. can’t believe i once felt sympathy for him. and then shess was introduced wearing various cute hats and my heart couldn’t take it. so season 1 asha was my favorite throughout with others jockeying for 2nd place. season 2 is longer and while asha was at the top a fair bit, the rankings were constantly moving. laila was up there for a bit. I also liked Vasuki for a bit. yuta kept stealing away first place during seasons 1 and 2. he was very cute and sweet in 2nd stage. he has very contrasting sides of his personality from sweet, to wise, to cruel its an interesting mix. the level of edge his character has tho causes me pain sometimes (cringe). in the later half of season 2 tho my fav was definitely saha. SAHA!!! im still in pain... this was also the time asha fell down my rankings (the rankings are just a mix personal preferences) tho i still empathize with her. Maruna’s a character i started off disliking and he’s just continued to grow on me. stupid chicken. Laila was my favorite character a few times in season 3 and just like saha reached a peak i will never forget, Laila did too when she killed chandra. QUEEEEEEEEEENN. Laila, my goddess. right now im low key obsessed with yaksha but after him are shess, the original airavata, and ananta.

you regret the words like...as soon as they leave you because the moment you finish your sentence you get a face full of pillow

youd forgotten your clothes in the excitement of being able to sleepover at your boyfriend’s so long story short you’re decked out in one of his thinner t-shirts and a pair of his sweatpants

moments before disaster (aka The Pillow) struck you’d been chilling out on the couch and you both were pigging out just watching tv or something 

then mark decided to s t e a l a c h i p f r o m y o u r b o w l 

you couldn’t just TAKE THAT 

so yeah you mouth off and then get pillowed in the face and after the initial shock wears off you kinda just calmly get up and walk slowly towards the kitchen counter to put your food away so it doesnt spill

all the while mark is shaking in his boots the fear is BUILDING

because hes going over the scenarios of what you might do next in his head he doesnt notice you discretely picking up a pillow

he does feel it tho when you hit him upside the head with it

and in the end you guys have to call a draw and like you sit back and just stare at each other blinking and eventually renjun speaks

and his voice is hoarse because neither of you have spoken in a while and the first thing he says (very matter-of-factly, too) is “i’m going to flip the board now”

and you just go “go ahead” hoarsely as well because you’re just in mild shock that nobody won that intense ass match

he flips the board and looks up and stares at you and you stare back and suddenly the two of you are crying of laughter like

majorly uncontrollable you’re just rolling on the floor wheezing 

after you both calm down renjun goes to the kitchen to find something to eat and he’s like “it’s 1 in the morning oh my god we haven’t even eaten dinner what the heck” and that sends you into another fit of laughter

he attacks you with a massive hug because oh my god you’re so sweet he’s getting a cavity

you guys are still awake when mark comes back to the dorm

you guys pass more time just talking and stuff 

and putting on songs and dancing to them it’s Good Fun

he makes you take his bed and sleeps on the floor in a sleeping bag 

you feel awful about it though so when you’re sure he asleep you go find the other sleeping bag and take your pillow and sleep beside him on the floor

he’s super shook when he wakes up but when he realizes that you didn’t want him to be lonely on the floor his smile is as bright as the sun

texts his friends for help on how to cook a nice breakfast

jeno: yo does anyone know how to make breakfast haechan: yeah jeno: cool what are the directions haechan: i didn’t say i’d give them to you

by this time you’re awake and just like “ok let me handle breakfast” 

the two of you just end up eating plain rice and eggs (because you aren’t confident in your kitchen skills) and giggling over the crappy pictures you’re taking of each other eating 

all in all the perfect date/sleepover

the moment you walk in the first thing that happens is that haechan pulls you into a hug

the second thing that happens is he holds you at an arm’s length, looks you straight in the eyes, and goes “we have to make a pillow fort”

you 100% agree it’s a necessity 

after putting your bag down on the kitchen he basically drags you to the living room 

the couch gets pushed back against the wall, the coffee table is moved to the side and chairs are moved back so there’s just a big floorspace directly in front of the tv

like after the fort is finished and there are blankets above your heads and you’re both changed into makeshift pjs (just shorts and shirts tbh) and theres pillows around the fort’s perimeter and the tv is on he’ll like

grab whatever you’re currently eating and hold it up and whenever you lean over to reach it he’ll just lean back or move it just out of your reach again

and thats when you two set about to turn literally everything upside down in everyone’s rooms 

it takes forever because he puts music on while you guys are working and you both end up ballroom dancing to michael jackson

once its done neither of you can breathe from laughing so hard 

he makes a really quick dinner and the two of you eat it in the fort

while trading stories from the past couple weeks

all of this is done facing each other while holding hands on one side and eating with the other

you guys have to make like three trips up and down from the roof before settling down

the first trip you guys set the telescope and blankets up and you go down because you need to go back and bring the food up

the second time is because you have to bring pillows up

the third time is because jaemin forgets his phone oops

its still kind of light out when you guys get up on the roof so you pass time by taking selfies and talking and stuff

its cold af outside and youre freezing despite your jacket so jaemin bundles the both of you up in a blanket (or 4)

bringing a needle and thread outside so you can sew together flower crowns of leaves, grass, and dandelions

jisung leans against the tree while watching you make a mildly lopsided crown 

he cant help but laugh when you put it on his head

okay so some backstory

you and jeffrey over here have known each other since he got back from america

everyone fawned over him when he got back

you were probably like,, the only one at school who got tired of his little “i lived in america, that’s why i’m here, man!!” joke

when he found out you were annoyed by him in general he was a bit confused

he’d never spoken to you before so he thought your disliking of him was a bit dumb

you found out because his friends have loud mouths

which only fueled your hatred oops

because you thought he was calling you dumb behind your back

anyway after you guys graduated

you didn’t see each other much

that is

until you became a makeup artist for sm

the gods were against you because you were assigned to nct

right before the boys (including the dreamies) had to go on a broadcast

smart idea guys, very smart

so basically you got really worried

because you and the other makeup artists shared that palette because it was gigantic

when it got to the point where the other artists were getting impatient

you were the youngest out of all of them yet you were trusted with the most expensive thing lol

jaehyun saw you freaking out and went over

he didn’t even think about it like the moment he saw your eyes glaze over he kinda sprinted to you

took you out of the room, away from the crowd of people, and into a spare room
