It was a hot summer day and this city had lots of places outdoors to sit under the shade and cool down. I loved walking around the canals and through the green parks in the middle of the city. The main attraction was the riverside near the the old town though. This place truly felt magical. Even though we were there at high noon, it was an amazing vibe with all the restaurants, patios, and outdoor lounges lining the river bank, cruise boats and intercity connection ferries beckoning, and a cool breeze refreshing our spirits. I arrived here early morning, by train, but I got drenched in the way to my hostel and decided to stay in until the rain subsided. When I got out for late lunch and took a stroll all the way to the river, the sun was already dangerously close to the horizon. I found many hidden gems here, and as usual, got distracted on the way to the river. By the time I crossed through this Fashion Street, tackled another beautiful trap, and reached the Danube, the sky was pitch black and the wind was gusting up to almost 80kph.
