***WEDNESDAY REVIEW*** At long last! Excuse me I’ve been sick. ⬇️ Another #disneymovie that is about the villain origins because we live in an age where we now need the explanation on how the Princess turned into the dark Queen. I understand this and #curelladevil has been one of my favorite crazy Disney Villians of all time. Maleficent wins all, however. Anyway, this movie paints a rather successful image of an ambitious young girl into an equally ambitious (albeit rather damaged) young woman. FASHION GALORE IN THIS! Some of the outfits are truly remarkable and I would LOVE to attend a fashion show that lets me trash a place. Might feel obligated to assist in clean up though. As for the Dalmatian controversy that has been surrounding this movie. It’s not what you think. That’s all I will say. I suggest you watch it with an open mind and expect - weird Curella DeVil. If she doesn’t scare you. ****WEDNESDAY REVIEW**** NO SPOILERS HERE! Like most Disney movies - it made me cry. However, I was watching them with my family and we gotta be strong for the kiddies. I feel this came at a good time and talks about something that resonated very loudly with me. Aside from the obvious cultural influences, there are some valuable lessons very well hidden behind adorable characters and even more adorable lines. It’s good to see a variety of characters all working towards one goal but at the same time - not. The animation is INCREDIBLE! If you watch it for anything, watch it for that. You might get teary eyed and full of good feelings. ***WEDNESDAY REVIEW*** the cutest thing in the world. ⬇️ I don’t understand why I love this movie so much, but I do. You start with the rising action before back tracking into the proper introduction of the characters. I’ve felt a strong connection with the main character for many reasons. Primarily the “weird art” part. The entire family has little things that you fall in love with before everything else happens. ***WEDNESDAY REVIEW*** I love Billie Holiday. There’s absolutely zero guessing needed to understand what kind of life she could had had. When she passed away, she was near penniless. With seventy cents in her bank account, cirrhosis of the liver and a legacy left behind her. They tried to arrest her in bed while she lay dying. For what? Being black, high, and singing one of the most pivotal songs in the history of the United States. This movie talks about Billie. Her struggles and want to just sing a song that was so close to her heart. I think you should watch it. ***WEDNESDAY REVIEW*** I HAD FEELINGS AND THEY WERE GOOD ONES! One of my bestest friends suggested I watched this, and I did, and I loved it. The plot line is revenge, with a Long Island Ice Tea kind of mix. Every sip is a different flavor of crazy. You’ll see at least ONE familiar actor and be ready to have your gut punched right when you think everything is working out. I am also a fan of her nail polish. Adding on to this, I have been in the brain fog this character is in. You become engrossed and obsessed with one thing, or like in my case, nothing at all. Others continue to say there is something desperately wrong with you, but you either remain fixated or go full on self destruction. I enjoyed it. Let me know if you have a movie you’d like me to watch. ITS SOPHIE IN HER NATURAL HABITAT! to anyone who is NOT family and just joined me - hai. Thank you. This is why I’m doing any and all of this. ⬇️ My hopes is that I will already have a fairly okay following of people in the interwebs who like what I already do and so will be encouraged to read what I put out. There are rules: 1) you won’t be seeing my family on Instagram or TikTok. I have promised them this. A majority of my family are just not comfortable with the idea of coming out in either one for any reason.
