Hey there, Space Girl: Reveal Party pt. 1

After many, many days of playing hide and seek with the people of Bigg City Port with very short visits from Sunshine, Rainbow (with a shit ton of guilt trips from him every time they visited) decides that its finally time to introduce herself. Mostly because she felt bad about Sunshine, the last visit they had he had mentioned that everytime he talks about her, almost everyone didn't believe him. Only Ten Cents, Hercules, Zip and Zebedee sort of believed him because they either felt bad for him or may have noticed something and may or may not spotted her (there were times when she got careless). So with that being the final nail in the coffin, she agrees to reveal herself to his friends, they set the time to all meet at 8pm tonight, that way the sun will be set when she arrives. As 8pm rolls in, the whole crew waits on the lit up dock waiting for the supposed girl that saved Sunshine's life but as time passes the more impaitent they get. Will Rainbow actually introduce herself or will her anxiety get the best of her?

capo/captain/miss claymore is a figure from captain zero’s past that he desperately tries to forget. as mentioned in the picture, she is quite the imposing figure, and with her line of work, it’s a given that she’s as ruthless and cunning as one may expect. claymore and her men handle jobs that involve racketeering and smuggling, from weapons to booze, and back when she was younger (and still had a leash around captain zero’s neck which made her a source of extreme paranoia for him) she’s extremely adamant on how things should be done in her turf. after captain zero ditched his relations with her and left her to handle the smuggling business he haphazardly left behind, she has her sights on him and promised to give him the welcome back party he deserves, even going so far as wanting to invite his employees as well! how courteous of her.

zayin (in TUGS canon) is the newest addition to the z-stacks. although he’s a generally pleasant fellow and wants to be on at least good terms with everyone, zayin is protective of his self image – he makes sure he’s perceived as someone respectable and has a tendency of viewing others as beneath them (not that he’ll ever admit it, but the way he sometimes talk… shows). being a switcher, zayin takes up various jobs around bigg city port, and boy is he competent at them! they're one of the few z-stacks that zorran somewhat likes because they always get the job done and right and quick. nonetheless, he's often exasperated at how zayin quickly skedaddles to chat up the star tugs and continue his amicable relationship with them, especially top hat (whom he has a strange fixation on). zip and zug likes zayin for his friendliness, though, and he views them as charming yet pitiable beings.

Snape treated Lupin better than Lupin deserved to be treated by Snape, period. Also, the thing I didn't mention when reblogging, but Greyback and others of his kind exist. We don't know whether Lupin would've taught kids about the werewolves when the curriculum requires it, but Snape has all the reasons to believe that he wouldn't (and I think that the fact that he cancelled the essays suggests Snape may be right; and Lupin's personality does too lol). I guess kids don't need to know ways to defend their life against them, because MiNoRiTiEs. Like Snape doesn't teach them how to kill a werewolf in a human form, he teaches how one can fight! against a thing! that might attack and kill you! So evil of him. This also literally is in the textbook. Snape does Lupin a favour (unwillingly though) with lifting a burden of teaching about this topic and even suggesting to check the essays (unless Lupin would've skipped it anyway ofc).

Snape didn't spill Lupin's secret for 17 (!) years. Sure, him teaching the curriculum beforehand and telling (or rather I believe confirming) to the Slytherin kids he's responsible for that Lupin is a werewolf after he forgot to drink his potion Snape had been fucking bringing to him; and lied to Dumbledore to cover up how he endangered people in his youth; and retraumatised the hell out of Snape after gaslighting him for a year (and we don't even know if Dumbledore explained to Snape that Black wasn't the keeper by the morning) is pure going against minorities for no reason.

But making the connection between tagging the post with character's tag and getting comments and reblogs from their fanbase is an outstanding achievement as for the Marauders stan.

A Little Zorran Headcanon

This little detail has been part of my AU for ages, but I've never actually said it out loud, except possibly in private conversations with one or two people.

Zorran and the other Z-Stacks were based on the Moran fleet of tugs in New York. So, their leader was given a name that rhymed with Moran. This means that the correct way to pronounce 'Zorran' is "ZorRAN"

The trouble is, every single character in the show pronounces it as "ZorRUN." Everyone: Star Tug, Z-Stack, his own captain! Everyone pronounces it "ZorRUN"... except for one...

Zorran himself.

Zorran says his own name on at least two separate occasions: First, in the very first episode, Sunshine:

"No problem, that contract's as good as ours or my name's not Zorran!"

The second is in Bigg Freeze:

"Wrong, Sunshine - it's for Vienna. Delivered by me - Zorran - see?"

On both occasions, he specifically pronounces his name as ZorRAN. Which makes me think: Zorran spends his days listening to everyone around him pronounce his name wrong!

I mean, immediately after he says his name properly in the first episode, Zip follows up and mispronounces it!

Anyone who has ever had their name mispronounced repeatedly knows how annoying it is.

So, that is part of my AU's canon: Everybody pronounces Zorran's name wrong, which is why he's constantly irritated by... everything!

The only one who pronounces it correctly, besides Zorran himself, from the main cast is Zip. Being Zorran's nephew in my AU, it's a bit too much to have him say it wrong. It's the other change to go with the Canadian accent!
