Unternehmertum stärken: Gründungswoche Deutschland 2022 an der Hochschule Rhein-Waal

Auch in diesem Jahr nahm die Hochschule Rhein-Waal an der Gründungswoche Deutschland teil, die vom 14. bis 18. November 2022 stattfand. An zwölf Veranstaltungen der bundesweit größten Aktion zur Stärkung von Unternehmertum und Gründungsgeist beteiligten sich rund 200 Teilnehmende, darunter Studierende, Bürger*innen und Mitarbeitende der HSRW. Wiederholt wurde durch das Projekt ‚StartGlocal‘ des Zentrums für Forschung, Innovation und Transfer (ZFIT) in Zusammenarbeit mit Professor*innen sowie wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeitenden ein vielfältiges Programm im Rahmen der deutschlandweit stattfindenden Gründungswoche organisiert. Externe Coaches, Speaker und Absolvent*innen sowie regionale und grenzübergreifende Start-ups ergänzten die Veranstaltungen. Neben vielen offenen Fragen zu den Themen Entrepreneurship und Start-ups wie ‚Welche Schritte braucht es zum eigenen Business?‘ und ‚Wie entwickle ich Ideen mit nachhaltiger Wirkung?‘ wurde auch die Kreativität der Studierenden der Hochschule Rhein-Waal unter Beweis gestellt: Bei der Poster-Präsentation der Fakultät Kommunikation und Umwelt pitchten Studierende des Studiengangs International Business Administration, B.A., ihre Ideen vor einer Jury und externen Teilnehmenden. Einen tieferen Einblick in die Hochschule gab es mit einer Live-Tour durch das „FabLab“ in Kamp-Lintfort. Hier bekamen die Teilnehmenden durch die ‚StartGlocal‘-Scouts Unterstützung beim Erstellen von ersten eigenen Prototypen. Einen wichtigen Beitrag für alle Gründungsinteressierten in der Gründungswoche lieferte auch in diesem Jahr wieder Holger Schnapka, Gründungsberater des Startercenters NRW der Niederrheinischen Industrie- und Handelskammer. In Einzelgesprächen wurden vertiefende Fragen der gründungsinteressierten Studierenden beispielsweise zum Thema Gewerbeanmeldung und Steuern geklärt. „Zusammen mit unseren Partner*innen im Gründungsnetzwerk hat das ‚StartGlocal‘-Team eine informative und interessante Gründungswoche auf die Beine gestellt. Nach dem ‚Best Idea Cup‘ im Oktober 2022 zeigt sich erneut das Innovationspotential der Hochschule, das wir verstärkt am Niederrhein nutzen möchten“, so Dr. Gerhard Heusipp, Leiter des ZFIT der Hochschule Rhein-Waal.
