op turned off reblogs and i get it, but i just have to psa: don't bring your phone anywhere into the bathroom when you are taking a hot shower/bath! if you are using water hot enough to steam, the steam in the air gets into your phone and is more damaging than dropping it in water. i once had my phone die due to "inexplicable" water damage just because i left it in the pocket of my dirty clothes while showering. if you are going to bring your phone into the shower, seal it into an airtight bag.

Vanilla cake with buttercream frosting - 4.5/5

I made this cake last year with disastrous results, so I wanted to try it again with a frosting recipe from the actual blog. It was a lot better but I still think this cake would do best with either the less-sweet frosting on the blog, or on its own with powdered sugar. The buttercream seemed a little too sweet!

((Also I was going for a trans flag theme but botched the colors and also apparently don't know what the flag looks like, happy pride!))

I'm gonna be so mad if something eats the fucking strawberry I'm waiting to ripen before I can get to it. They got the last one and it wasnt even fully ripe! You little fucker!! Theres a few flowers still blooming due to the hot weather continuing (god help us) which is funny and I do enjoy watching the strawberries grow from flower to berry but... I'd like the animals to stop eating them first :(

saw a picture of a ロルケーキ (rolled cake) on tumblr and decided i wanted to make one. used this recipe and it worked really well as far as cracking/cake texture goes. this is actually my third (3rd) try due to rolling/filling trouble, but that was a Me Issue and not a recipe issue
