Hello, how are you?I hope you’re well,if you like and if you want can you please fulfill my request? Can you write a Zoe one shot or headcanon where reader is a daughter of Apollo(a powerful one)and instead of dying Zoe is saved by her and they end up together?Ty sm☀️🩵🩵
Zoe falling for a daughter of Apollo who saved her
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
note -> I love Zoe so much i wish we get a stand alone book about her, i also made this lore accurate so Thalia would still be lieutenant.
warnings -> blood, Zoe almost dies.
contet includes -> angst to fluff, hurt/comfort, Zoe confesses.
Tumblr media
Zoe didn't think much of you at first, you are one of the oldest Apollo children and you were the head counsellor of the Apollo cabin as well as the head healer, you were the only one who didn't actively hate the hunters
Both of you had mutual respect for each other, during the hunters stay you two would make sure that your siblings and the younger hunters dont fight each other over whos better at archery
Zoe was a bit relieved when you were chosen for the quest to save Artemis, she knew you are powerful and your archery skills matched hers
You two would bond during the quest, you and Bianca were the only ones who didn't try and make problems for her
You were there for her when Bianca died, you knew it would affect her since Bianca was a part of her family, she was a hunter, a young one who had so much potential
Zoe intended to distract Ladon, but you wouldn't let her since you knew she would die if she did, you blinded him with your light just enough for all of you two get away, while she didn't like that you hurt Lando she knew it wouldn't be permanent damage, just a trick to get away
You protected her when you all fought Atlas, her father, of course you two got injured in the process but you were able to heal both of you
After the mission you were offered to join the hunt alongside Thalia, but you refused since you dont want to leave your siblings
Zoe would still keep in touch with you, and after a while she would realise she had feelings for you, so she immediately went to Artemis, her most trusted friend and companion
Both she and Artemis knew that if you accepted her feelings, Zoe would have to leave the hunt, so before confessing Zoe gave Thalia her blessing to be the next lieutenant.
The next time you saw each other, Zoe confessed to you, and she was happy when you accepted her feelings
Artemis and the other hunters were happy for Zoe, they were sad that she had to leave the hunt but they made sure to visit her and talk to her from time to time

Moon Tell Me If I Could
Tumblr media
pairings…zoë nightshade x daughter of apollo
description…she isn’t supposed to love but she cant help it
warnings…fluff possible spoilers to book 3
requested…yes
w/c… 328 words 1705 characters
an…sorry all of my fics recently have been short and kinda crappy i haven’t had time because of school
Zoë was forced to visit Camp Half-Blood so the Huntresses could rest and try to figure out how to get Artemis back. You are the cabin leader for Apollo since you had been there the longest and you’re the oldest.
”Zoë you need to go on a quest with some of the cabin members. It’s in the prophecy!” Chiron was arguing with Zoë since she only wanted to go with her Huntresses.
“I will not. Your members are not fit to fight.”
“You will it is not an option!”
“Fine. I choose Annabeth, Thalia, and her” She pointed at you. You had been quiet the whole time since you weren’t the biggest fan of fighting.
You started zoning out since they were bickering back and forth. Soon they stopped and the meeting was done, so I went back to my cabin.
After a while someone knocked on the Apollo cabin door. I opened it and saw Zoë standing there. “I know it is late but I wish to speak to thee”
“Of course! What is it?”
“While at the meeting you have caught my eye. I think you are quite gorgeous.”
“Thank you so much! You’re pretty too!”
“I am not supposed to like anyone but I believe Artemis would let me like a woman.”
“Wait so you like me?”
“You could say that.”
“Oh my gods! I like you too! Can I hug you?”
“Absolutely.”
You hug her tightly while smiling ear to ear. “What does this make us?”
“Whatever you would like”
“I’d like to be girlfriends. I know we’re supposed to be focused on Artemis so if not I understand.”
“I would enjoy being your girlfriend”
You both stayed silent for a little bit just enjoying each other’s presence. The world seemed to have stopped. All the birds stopped chirping and all the leafs started ruffling.
“You look divine..” You felt your face heat up as she spoke into your hair.
“Thank you..so do you”

Ω PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS: 🌕 ARTEMIS: Goddess of the Hunt and Wilderness, Archery, Moon, Maidenhood and Childbirth 🏹
author's note: I had a sudden idea about writing some headcanons Camp Halfblood demigods being claimed and what it's like for each respective god and cabin, followed by a small blurb afterwards. Thank you for reading and please like and reblog! The order is not in order of the cabin numbers. [PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS MASTERLIST]
You’ve become one of Artemis’ ‘children’ as you joined the hunters of Artemis and became part of the sisterhood.
For the most part, it’s a pretty nomadic way of living. You’re constantly on the move, hunting animals and monsters with your fellow sisters and companions. It's pretty comfy and the tents they set up are great (they also have full blown washrooms somehow, so no need to forgo running water) so it feels like glamping. But every now and again, Artemis takes you guys to stop by Camp Half-blood.
Say what you will, there's something being stationary and sleeping in an actual building, in actual beds.
You see the curious eyes watching you and your group, but they keep their distance given boys are off-limits and girls either look at you with awe or disdain.
Y'know how the Apollo cabin often has archery matches with the Huntresses? Although they don't particularly become any closer, there is some sort of connection between your cabins. Probably because Artemis and Apollo are twins, and Apollo's children don't seem particularly attracted to your group, so there's something there.
You take part and help out with the annual recruitment at the Camp. Teaching other potential maidens about what it's like being a Huntresses. You're told that they always have one interested individual that joins them by the time they leave camp.
Braids are often a common hairstyle among the hunt, aside from ponytails. Being on the move doesn’t allow much time to dwell on hair aside from basic hair care, so keeping it in a braid is often more of convenience. There’s usually a mass hair-washing station and it becomes a group bonding experience. All the hunters help braid your hair and teach you other styles along the way, and it’s not uncommon to see a hair braiding train. This often also leads into storytelling time and devolving much like a sleepover, bringing a certain sense of nostalgia.
You know you’ve become part of the hunters when Artemis asks you to help braid her hair. Your hands will shake and you will stutter, but as she encourages your hands to weave her hair, you feel honoured and the barrier between her and you is less daunting.
Other than Dionysus, people feel envious and are curious what it’s like being around a god so often. Artemis accompanies you on your hunts more often than not, and usually is not around when she has to attend a council with the other Olympians or tend to her nightly duties. It’s a see-saw of perception being around Artemis; on one hand, you’re aware of who she is but on the other hand, when you’re hunting together or when she joins you with the other hunters, you forget she’s a deity.
If you joined in when Zoe is a lieutenant, she is strict but fair. She is the ultimate big sister of the sisterhood. She may seem a bit cold to you but as she helps guide your shooting stance and gives you tips, tells you to zip up your parka or checks your supplies, you know she cares for you like a sister. In fact, you notice she seems more at ease as she looks after you and your sister…it makes you think if she had biological sisters.
When Thalia is now the lieutenant, it takes some time to get used to. There’s a bit of friction and gap, since Zoe was in that position for over 2000 years. However, Thalia is confident and has the qualities of a leader, so her stumbles become sprints. She is different from Zoe in how they bond with the sisterhood, but if Zoe was the cool, proud sister, then Thalia is the fun, laughable sister that wouldn’t hesitate to give you a noogie.
You looked upon the silver lady, her entourage of people behind her. The moon was full behind her head, bestowing a glow on her and you were just in awe to be in her shadow.
A tall and graceful girl stepped forward and she regarded you with a pointed look. “If you wish to join our lady and our hunt, you must pledge yourself from romantic love and swear loyalty to Lady Artemis and our sisterhood.”
You nodded as she nodded back. “Recite this oath: I pledge myself to the Goddess Artemis. I turn my back on the company of men, accept eternal maidenhood, and join the Hunt.”
You recited this pledge and the girl with moonlike qualities smiled. “I, Artemis, accept this pledge. Welcome sister to the Hunt. As long as you remain as one of my Hunters, and are not slain in battle, you will not die under my watch.”
The other hunters cheered for you as you nodded. The other girl stepped forward with a warmer smile and held out her hand to you.
“My name is Zoe Nightshade, lieutenant of Lady Artemis. Welcome to our sisterhood.”

It blows my mind that there's actually a pretty large section of Pjo fans who think Percy should've become a unbeatable powerful ass fuck off deity with a harem because 'it's in his blood as the son of Poseidon' and 'he wasted his powers and inheretance by choosing kindness and his normal friends instead of highups' like damn calm down Lord Ozai, you're talking about an afrolatino who grew up in New York and is probably transfem with undiagnosed autism not a back in the good 'ol days testosterone fulled nepotism baby

You were in position, arrow at the ready as you waited in the trees. Your sisters were around you, scattered throughout the woods as they awaited orders just like you. You watched as a couple kids fought the manticore, fought was being generous, they seemed to be losing. They were trying to protect some kids but ended up finding themselves caught between the monster and a helicopter, humans never knew when to mind their own business.
Finally, the horn sounded, your goddess gave the order and you and your sisters let your arrows fly. Every single one of your arrows pierced into the monster, into his arms, his legs, and yours found a home in his neck. You couldn’t help but smirk as you watched him stumble back.
The manticore roared, eyeing the woods, he didn’t need to see you to know you were there. He fired his spikes aimlessly into the woods, hoping to hit at least one of you. You smirked at seeing the spikes coming directly at you before notching another arrow and letting it fly. You and your sisters’ arrows intercepted every single one of the monsters’ spikes perfectly, disintegrating them in the air.
All the kids looked around confused, trying to see through the darkness of the trees. You and your sisters were never seen though, not unless you wanted to be seen. Your goddess signaled for you to show yourselves, you all rushed forward, ready to end the monster. Zoe was given the order to take the shot but one of the girls that had been originally fighting it jumped on its back, compromising Zoe’s shot.
You all waited, bows at the ready to get a kill shot of the monster, then Zoe finally gave the order. Once again you and your sisters let your arrows fly, each one nailing the monster in the chest and neck. The monster staggered back but he wasn’t down yet, he let out another roar before quickly jumping over the cliff, the girl still on his back.
“Annabeth!” one of the boys yelled, running forward as if he was going to follow her over the edge.
Your goddess mumbled something about mortals not being allowed to witness her hunt, then she raised her hand and the helicopter that had been hovering over them turned into a flock of birds. You smiled, shaking your head as you looked up where the helicopter had been, oh how you loved it when she turned people and things into animals.
“Zoe Nightshade,” someone said. You turned to see Zoe standing toe to toe with one of the kids you all had saved. When you got closer you couldn’t help but smirk, recognizing the girl.
“Thalia Grace,” Zoe said with an eyeroll.
“Well, well, well,” you said, slinging an arm around Zoe as you approached the group. “Look who’s no longer a tree.”
“Y/N,” Thalia said with an eyeroll.
You smiled; Thalia wasn’t your biggest fan, but she hated you a lot less than she did Zoe. Unlike Zoe you hadn’t done anything to directly make enemies with Thalia, she wasn’t the biggest fan of Hunters after her last encounter with all of you, but you also just tended to rub people the wrong way. Most people found you too intense and arrogant.
“Four half-bloods and a satyr my lady,” Zoe said, informing Artemis of the kids you just saved. You rolled your eyes, Zoe, always being so formal.
“Some of Chiron’s campers, I see,” Artemis said, approaching the group.
“Annabeth!” the boy screamed again. You furrowed your brow, that name sounded familiar. Your eyes flitted back to Thalia, that’s when it clicked, Annabeth had been the little girl traveling with Thalia and that boy from a few years ago. “You have to let us go after her!”
“I’m sorry, Percy Jackson, but your friend is beyond help.” You tilted her head at Artemis, she was great at recruiting young girls to the Hunt, but she really wasn’t the best with people, which was saying something because her and her brother were the most ingrained in the mortal realm, walking amongst humans more than any of the other gods.
Your ears perked up at the boy’s name, tilting your head at the one you now knew as Percy Jackson. You had heard of him, everyone had heard about him, son of Poseidon, another child of the prophecy. You looked from him to Thalia, realizing a child of Zeus and Poseidon now walked the earth again, either one of them could be the one from the great prophecy.
“Who do you think you are?” Percy questioned. You raised an eyebrow at the boys’ guts, he clearly had no idea who he was talking to.
“Watch your tone,” Zoe snapped, shaking your arm off her, quickly throwing a glare over her shoulder at you as she approached the boy.
You shook your head with a smirk. Zoe was your goddesses second and she was technically older than you, born a whole thousand years before you even. Physically though, she looked younger, she was stuck at the young age of fourteen whereas you were frozen at seventeen, meaning, you loved to treat her like a little sister.
“It’s okay,” Artemis said. “I sense no disrespect, Zoe.” She stepped forward so she could stare Percy in the eyes, but she never offered him a hand. “I am Artemis, goddess of the Hunt.”
“You’re a goddess, why can’t you go after Annabeth?” Percy asked once again, clearly having a one-track mind.
“She is gone, can’t you sense it?” You sighed, it was obvious the boy couldn’t sense it, he probably had no idea what he’d even be trying to sense.
“Gone? What do you mean gone?”
“Some sort of magic,” Artemis looked around, confused as to what kind of magic could make the girl disappear. “She’s vanished. But trust, if she can be found, I will find her.”
Percy didn’t seem happy about her answer, but he grumbled, having to accept that there was no way he’d be able to go after his friend. The conversation quickly turned to the two kids the half-bloods had been protecting, Nico and Bianca, orphans, demigods, their parent unknown. Nico seemed very into the idea of being related to a Greek god, it was a little concerning how excited he was. Bianca on the other hand had a more reasonable reaction, it was hard for her to deny the truth though after being attacked by a Manticore.
Artemis ordered for camp to be set up while she talked to Bianca. Zoe smirked as soon as Bianca agreed to the conversation while Thalia glared at her. You knew Thalia’s feelings on what was about to be discussed but at least she had the decency to hold her tongue this time. When Nico asked if he could join, Artemis had the decency to redirect his attention to the satyr friend of the demigods, Nico didn’t seem to realize he was being pawned off, all too happy to talk about his little figures and game with the satyr.
You made yourself scarce, moving as far away from the others as you helped set up camp. As you walked away you could already hear the bickering between Percy and Thalia starting, it seemed the friend they lost had been their mediator, it was only a matter of time before they tried to kill each other without her. You and your sisters worked effortlessly, the motions of setting up camp having become second nature, even without any sort of magic you had the whole campsite set up in minutes. One of your sisters blew the whistle, signaling for the wolves to come out. You glanced up to see Thalia and Zoe now bickering, you shook your head then went back to more important matters, giving treats to the wolves.
You watched as Zoe approached Percy then led him into the tent you knew Artemis was residing in. Zoe gave you a nod as they passed, you gave one in return before giving the rest of the treats to the wolf. You quickly brushed off your hands and followed behind Zoe and Percy. Once in the tent Percy took a seat next to Bianca, Zoe took a seat on Artemi’s right and you stood behind your goddess on the left. You eyed your guests, Bianca looking deep in thought, barely registering that Percy had sat next to her, her mind most likely playing over all the benefits of Artemis’s offer.
You stood dutifully to the side as Artemis explained her whole deal to Percy, he seemed confused by the whole ‘rejecting romantic love’ thing, he couldn’t fathom the idea of why someone would ever accept that. He wasn’t disrespectful about it though, you would give him that, most men when they stumbled upon Artemis or the Hunters they didn’t understand, didn’t try to understand, and it always cost them, Artemis made sure of that. You couldn’t help but smirk when Percy’s eyes widened when Artemis and Zoe started talking about the last boy to have seen your camp and how Artemis had turned him into a jackelope. Her turning boys into jackelopes was secretly one of your favorite things, there was a part of you that always hoped a boy would stumble upon your camp and she’d turn him into an animal.
You zoned out a bit, making sure you could still hear the conversation around you. Percy was filling in Artemis on the manticore and what he had said before you and your sisters arrived. Percy’s details were vague and confusing, but Bianca clearly had the better memory and helped fill in the gaps or correct Percy on wording if he got it wrong. You didn’t fully tune back into the conversation until Artemis said she must hunt this new monster.
“We’ll leave right away, my lady,” Zoe said. You stood at attention ready to follow them into the next hunt.
“No, Zoe. I must do this alone,” Artemis said. She glanced back at you to make sure you knew she was serious. You frowned, Artemis may have been a goddess but the idea of her going off and hunting this unknown monster didn’t settle right with you. Despite your reservations you honored your goddesses’ wishes and kept your mouth shut.
“But, Artemis-” Zoe did not keep her mouth shut.
“This task is too dangerous even for the Hunters. You know where I must start my search. You cannot go there with me.”
“As… as you wish, my lady.”
Zoe also having reservations about Artemis going off on her own didn’t settle your uneasiness. Zoe was a rule follower, she was the type of kid you hated because she’d rather follow rules than do something fun. You always followed your goddesses’ orders but that didn’t mean you didn’t like to have fun. Usually, you were the one arguing with Artemis, respectfully, and Zoe would snap at you.
You continued to remain silent through the following conversation until Artemis asked Percy to escort the Hunters to camp Half-Blood. While once again Zoe went to argue with Artemis, you could only groan. You knew there would be no swaying Artemis on this decision, with her going off on a mission so dangerous that she didn’t even want her Hunters by her side, there was no question that she’d want to know you were all safe. As much as you hated camp half-blood, one of the only things Zoe and you ever agreed on, you had to admit it was the safest place for all of you.
You smirked when Artemis mentioned them having rebuilt the cabins that got burnt down last time because of the Hunters. “That was a fun time,” you mumbled. Artemis flicked you a glare and you raised your hands, silently agreeing to not set cabins on fire this time, at least you’d try to. You couldn’t make that promise and she knew that, the campers just had a way of irritating the Hunters, it wasn’t your fault with how you and your sisters reacted.
“Have you made up your mind, my girl?” Artemis asked, looking at Bianca.
Your eyes shifted to the younger girl, you knew before you all came into the tent that Artemis had been informing the girl of what it meant to be a Hunter and offering her a place. Percy’s eyes widened in shock, and he instantly tried to convince Bianca joining the Hunters wasn’t the answer by telling her how much fun camp was. Zoe was quick to shut that down by telling him being a Hunter can offer much more than camp ever could, such as immortality, and they’d be immortal unless they fell in battle, or they broke their oath.
“What oath?”
“To foreswear romantic love forever,” Artemis answered. “To never grow up, never get married. To be a maiden eternally.”
Percy’s mouth hung open as he seemed unable to process why anyone would choose that. You continued to remain silent while Zoe snapped at him telling him Artemis didn’t discriminate by birth and you all weren’t demigods. Which was true, Artemis accepted any girl into the Hunters, demigods, nymphs, mortals, literally anyone as long as they were willing to take and honor the oath. For those that broke the oath though… Artemis might have been one of the kindest gods around, but she was also one of the most unforgiveable, you had personally seen what could happen if a Hunter broke their oath.
Percy tried a new tactic, telling Bianca how Nico wouldn’t be able to become a Hunter. Artemis agreed with that but mentioned how Bianca could still see him every now and then. Bianca looked down at her hands, going over everything. Taking the oath and choosing to follow Artemis wasn’t an easy decision, especially to someone so young, you had seen many girls take it out of impulse and then fail to honor the oath later on. Artemis would accept any girl willing to take the oath at any age, she tended to like them younger though, before they could fall for boys and fall in love with someone. You were a rare case in that regard, you took the oath at seventeen and though some closer to the same age or even older than you had taken the oath before they never ended up keeping it.
You could understand Bianca’s predicament, you hadn’t had any siblings, at least you didn’t think you did. You had been with Artemis for a thousand years and you didn’t have many memories of your life before then, everything from that time slowly fading. You had seen girls with siblings take the oath before, it always took its toll on them. Artemis would allow the girls to visit their siblings from time to time, but time was always scarce, it could be a visit every few years and not last more than a day and while the girls would remain the same age forever, their siblings would age and eventually die.
“Is it worth it?” Bianca finally spoke up, looking at Zoe.
“It is,” Zoe answered. No one was more proud to be a Hunter than Zoe, it was why she had been with Artemis so long, it was why your goddess chose her as her second.
Bianca shifted her gaze to you. This happened almost every time, before a girl agreed she’d look to Zoe and you, you were physically the oldest and Bianca had been at Artemis’s side the longest, with you following right after. If anyone clearly thought this life was worth it, then it was the two of you.
“It might get weird hanging out with a bunch of people at least three years younger than me,” you joked, earning you a glare from Zoe. “But I have never regretted my decision.”
Bianca nodded, taking in both your and Zoe’s answers. “What do I have to do?” she asked, looking at your goddess.
“Say this,” Zoe said. “ ‘I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis.’ ”
“I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis,” Bianca repeated.
“ ‘I turn my back on the company of men, accept eternal maidenhood, and join the Hunt.’ ”
“I turn my back on the company of men, accept eternal maidenhood, and join the Hunt.”
“Now, once lady Artemis accepts the pledge it will be binding.”
“I accept,” Artemis said.
You smiled at your new sister as Artemis and Zoe welcomed her. It was a big decision to make but the second Artemis accepted the pledge you could see Bianca physically relax. Bianca loved her brother, you gathered that much but not knowing their godly parent and growing up orphans for so long meant Bianca had to grow up fast, she spent her life making sure her brother was okay and doing what was best for him, never getting to choose something solely for herself.
You had to hold in another groan when Percy asked how all of you were getting to camp when Artemis informed him, she was going to ask Apollo. Zoe once again didn’t hide her distaste for the situation and did groan, thankfully she didn’t try and argue with Artemis about this. When you all left the tent and packed up camp, Zoe stood on Artemis’s right, her arms crossed as she glared up at the dark sky, just waiting for the sun god to show himself. You couldn’t help but silently chuckle at her.
You laughed at Artemis’s complaints about her brother always being lazy. When the sunrise eventually came a sports car came speeding down from the sky, parking not too far from your group. Apollo jumped out of his car happily greeting his sister, much to her annoyance, before waving a flirtation grin at all of you, like usual. Zoe glared at him, you rolled your eyes, and the other Hunters took a few steps back, getting as far away from him as possible.
You waited as Artemis asked her brother to take all of you to camp, watching as he quickly turned his sports car into a large bus. He smiled widely, gesturing at the giant bus. The Hunters quickly shuffled forward, throwing all their gear into the bus before making their way on it and all the way to the back.
“Here, sweetheart. Let me get that,” Apollo said, smirking at Zoe as he tried to help her with her gear. Zoe quickly ripped her bag away from him, clenching a fist.
“Brother,” Artemis chided, preventing Zoe from decking the sun god in the face. “You do not help my Hunters. And you do not call them sweetheart.”
Apollo sighed dramatically, holding up his arms as Zoe passed by, making sure to bump him in the shoulder on the way. Zoe followed the other Hunters, making her way straight to the back of the bus.
Apollo smiled widely when his eyes landed on you. You had your bag slung over your shoulder with one hand, looking unamused as he approached you. “Hello gorgeous,” he said, slinging an arm around your shoulder. “how’s my favorite Hunter doing?” Apollo smirked. You scoffed, rolling your eyes before elbowing him in the gut. He groaned but quickly recovered and threw his arm back around you, leading you onto the bus.
You were the only Hunter to not have complete disdain for him. Despite finding him annoying you were also the only one to entertain him. At first Artemis would always chastise him when he would flirt with you but after a few hundred years of never being swayed and only seeming amused by his failed attempts she eventually let it slide, she knew you’d never break your oath for her brother or any guy. Apollo also took the form of someone around your age, and you had to admit it was nice having that around sometimes.
“Okay, so who’s driving?” Apollo asked once you were all on the bus. He looked back at your sisters, you followed his gaze to see them all pressed together on the back bench, practically sitting on top of each other to get as far away from him and Percy as possible. You decided to humor him and take a seat up front with him, Percy, Thalia, Grover, and Nico.
Percy mumbled he was only fourteen when Apollo looked at him. He then looked at you, wiggling his eyebrows as he smirked. You answered him by scoffing, crossing your arms and turning your attention out the window. He then turned to Thalia who reluctantly took a seat behind the wheel.
After getting off to a rough start you had a death grip on the seat, glaring at Apollo as he casually shouted directions at Thalia. Percy was gripping the back of Thalia’s seat as he yelled directions at her as well, for someone who couldn’t drive he sure had a lot of opinions on what she should do. You weren’t sure what was worse, the fourteen-year-old yelling directions or the fifteen-year-old driving who had been a tree less than six months ago.
Thalia turned the wheel sharply, crashing you all right into the lake at camp half-blood. Everyone flung forward with a groan. You looked up to see Thalia gripping the steering wheel as she stared unblinking out the windshield. Apollo, completely unbothered by the rough landing, applauded Thalia on the back, singing her praises.
All of you quickly piled out of the bus, watching as Apollo took off, switching back to a sports car as soon as the last of your feet stepped off the bus. Percy and Thalia took Nico to go meet Chiron and inform him of everything that happened. You watched as Zoe led the rest of the Hunters off to cabin eight. With your bag slung over your shoulder you looked around at the camp, most of the campers not even awake yet or the few that were were sleepily making their way to get breakfast. With one final eyeroll you sighed and made to follow your sisters. You could only hope your goddesses’ hunt would be swift because you couldn’t imagine wanting to be at this place for more than a day.

There are silver streaks shared by Annabeth and Percy, scattered through their hair.
It’s something that will connect them forever, you know for certain. It’s a symbol of a shared strength.
It’s just one more thing to make your heart melt.
Realistically, you should feel nothing but proud of them both, and in your own way, you do. But there has been too much loss to feel any sort of good from the ending, and you can’t get Zoe Nightshade’s death from your mind.
“I can see the stars, my lady,” she whispered, so gently you’d barely heard her at all. The wound on her side gaped, and bled, the golden ichor of an immortal on her way out. An inch of a smile appeared on her face, struggling, before it dropped, and the light faded from Zoe Nightshade’s eyes. A wisp of silvery light lifted from her lips, drifting up into the air, before it, too, faded.
In the sky, the stars showed an image of a girl, running across the sky. Zoe Nightshade had, finally, found her peace.
Atlas was in his rightful place. His daughter had been stolen from the world. Luke Castellan was kicked to his death by Thalia’s action.
Except, they couldn’t find a body.
Body, upon body, upon body. They just kept piling up.
Bianca; Zoe; Luke. Lost lives; people who could have had so much more than they were given.
But Gods who couldn’t care any less.
And if you had to, you’d bet they didn’t even know their names.
You could see now, just why Luke was so angry. Because you felt it too. And it was terrifying.
“You don’t believe me about Luke,” Annabeth said, sounding faded amongst your thoughts. “We’ll see him again. He’s just under Kronos’s spell.”
Thalia jolted away, somehow seemingly unbothered by the height at which you travelled in the sky, Artemis in the lead. “There it is,” she pointed, sitting up. “It’s started.”
“What’s started?” Percy leaned forward, catching your hair between his hand on the seat he held onto. You didn’t say anything.
High above the Empire State Building, Olympus was its own island of light. A mountain ablaze with torches and braziers.
“The Winter Solstice,” she breathed. “The Council of the Gods.”
In the early-morning darkness, torches and fires made the mountainside palaces glow twenty different colors, from bloodred to indigo. Apparently no one ever slept on Olympus. The twisting streets were full of demigods and nature spirits and minor godlings bustling about, riding chariots or sedan chairs carried by Cyclopes. Winter didn’t seem to exist here. The scent of the gardens in full bloom, jasmine and roses and even sweeter filled your senses. Music drifted up from many windows, the soft sounds of lyres and reed pipes.
Towering at the peak of the mountain was the greatest palace of all, the glowing white hall of the gods.
You touched ground outside towering, silver gates, just inside the courtyard. Pegasi travel was rather terrifying, and you were much more than glad to be alive and on the ground. Olympus glowed with warm, the kind that settled in your bones. The warm wind, blowing from nowhere, shifted your hair when you clambered down to the ground.
“Yeah,” Percy muttered.
“Huh?”
Percy froze. “Uh—the horse. Sorry! Pegasi.”
A laugh escaped you, startling in the night. Thalia turned, eyebrow raised. “Why are you talking to a horse? It didn’t say anything.”
“Didn’t I tell you? Haven’t I told you?” He averted his gaze.
“What,” you landed your hand on your hip, waving the other to the pegasi. “You talk to animals now, too, like Grover?”
“Just sea creatures. And horses. Pegasi, sorry!”
“Yeah, you’ll really have to explain that later,” you trailed off. “We’ve got more important matters at hand.”
The Pegasi flew off, leaving yourself, Percy, Thalia and your sister together. You liked to think, years later, laying on the glass floor of a ship, that you were all trying to gather the courage after everything to step inside the giant building, and face gods you had once only ever heard about in stories.
Side-by-side, you walked into the throne room.
Twelve enormous thrones made a U around a central hearth, just like the placement of the cabins at camp. The ceiling above glittered with constellations—even the newest one, Zoë the Huntress, making her way across the heavens with her bow drawn.
All of the seats were occupied. Each god and goddess was about fifteen feet tall. Under their judging eyes, despite your own mother being one of them, you were uncomfortable.
“Welcome, heroes,” Artemis said.
“Mooo!”
That was when you noticed Bessie and Grover, the latter standing at the side of a pool of water which Bessie swam in.
“Grover! You made it.”
He started to run towards your friends, then stopped, and looked back at Zeus, who up close, felt a lot scarier than he looked. You only realized then, that there was a major difference in terror of humans, and the intimidation of gods. You could deal with this kind.
“Go on,” Zeus nodded once. But he wasn’t looking at Grover—he was looking at Thalia.
None of the gods spoke. Grover’s hooves echoed on the marble floor, Bessie the Ophiotaurus mooing warmly at your arrival.
You took the time to observe the gods up close, because you might never get the chance to again. Artemis, looking as if she hadn’t ever even been hold hostage, watched the exchange between Percy and Grover. Percy’s father, Poseidon, dressed so casually you might have laughed in other circumstances, had this sort of barely-there smile on his face, bright eyes shining just the way Percy’s own did, too. Apollo, sunglasses covering his eyes, had his earbuds in, golden head of hair tilted back to the ceiling. And…
Ares. It was impossible to not feel him looking at you. Why the special interest, you wanted to ask. Do you see yourself in me? You wondered. Do I see myself in you?
Your eyes met his dark ones, a stark difference, between the extreme fatigue, and the colors. Your eyes burned with exhaustion and the tears you had shed since yesterday. He wore his signature black leather jacket, dark, dark hair being tousled by Aphrodite’s touch. When it was obvious her husband wasn’t looking at her, perched at his side, her love-ridden smile slowly fell away, and those sparkling eyes fell on you as well.
Or maybe it’s you, I see myself in. Too romantic. Too caught up in feelings. After all, you only had so much love to spare between friends, and the dead ones.
What do you see in me? You were desperate to ask, curiosity clawing at your chest. Why am I the way I am?
Gods sometimes took a special interest in heroes. All the tales told you so. You just had to wonder, what would come of this.
Ragged and bruised, you felt as though you were being picked apart under the watchful eyes of so many olympians.
You hadn’t realized Grover was doing the rounds until he yanked you into a hug. You found it in yourself to hug him back—at least he was still alive.
“Glad you made it,” you whispered.
“You too.” He nodded. Neither of you smelled amazing after this quest, but it went uncared for. A trouble shared is a trouble deeply understood.
“You have to convince them,” he said to the remaining four of you. “They can’t do it!”
“Do what?” You blinked.
“Heroes,” Artemis called. The goddess slid down from her throne and turned to human size, a young auburn-haired girl, perfectly at ease in the midst of the giant Olympians. She walked toward your little group, her silver robes shimmering. There was no emotion in her face. She seemed to walk in a column of moonlight.
“The Council has been informed of your deeds,” Artemis spoke loudly, addressing everyone in a steady, clear tone. “They know that Mount Othrys is rising in the West. They know of Atlas’s attempt for freedom, and the gathering armies of Kronos. We have voted to act.”
There was some mumbling and shuffling among the olympians, as if they weren’t all happy with this plan, but nobody protested.
“At my Lord Zeus’s command,” Artemis said, “my brother Apollo and I shall hunt the most powerful monsters, seeking to strike them down before they can join the Titans’ cause. Lady Athena shall personally check on the other Titans to make sure they do not escape their various prisons. Lord Poseidon has been given permission to unleash his full fury on the cruise ship Princess Andromeda and send it to the bottom of the sea. And as for you, my heroes…”
She turned to face the other immortals.
And that, was the moment you saw your mother for the first time.
Dressed in a beautiful white dress, draped over one shoulder, her eyes, as gray as your own, as gray as Annabeth’s appeared lost in thought. You took the chance to just look at the woman you never thought you would meet.
“I gotta say—” Apollo cleared his throat. “These heroes did okay.” He began to recite. “Heroes win laurels—”
“Um, yes, first class,” Hermes interrupted with a side-eye in his brother’s direction. You were unable to help the smirk. “All in favor of not disintegrating them?”
A few tentative hands went up: Aphrodite, Demeter, Apollo—waving his iPod.
“Hang on a minute,” Ares growled, sitting up on his throne. He pointed at Thalia and Percy, on the other side of Annabeth. “These two are dangerous. It’d be much safer, while we’ve got them here—”
Don’t say anything, you begged yourself. Even Annabeth elbowed you.
“Ares,” Poseidon interrupted. “They are worthy heroes. We will not blast my son to bits.”
“Nor my daughter,” grumbled Zeus. “She has done well.”
You leaned forward around your sister, who visibly shook, pale, in need of a lie down from the looks of things. Thalia blushed—you grinned wickedly. All the things you could do with this moment in the future.
Athena cleared her throat. Annabeth sighed. The goddess leaned forward. “I am proud of my daughters, as well. But I agree—there is a security issue with the other two.”
Annabeth elbowed you a little too late, this time.
“Mother!” You exclaimed.
Your heart dropped and splattered on the ground. Never had you addressed her as such. And never had she looked you in the face the way she did now.
Too late to back out, now.
“How can you just—”
Athena cut you off with a girl, but calm look. “It is unfortunate that my father, Zeus, and my uncle, Poseidon, chose to break their oath not to have more children. Only Hades kept his word, a fact that I find ironic. As we know from the Great Prophecy, children of the three elder gods…such as Thalia and Percy…are dangerous. As thickheaded as he is, Ares has a point.”
“Right!” Ares said. “Hey, wait a minute. Who you callin’—”
He started to get up, but a grape vine grew around his waist like a seat belt and pulled him back down.
“Oh, please, Ares,” Dionysus sighed. “Save the fighting for later.”
Ares cursed and ripped away the vine. “You’re one to talk, you old drunk. You seriously want to protect these brats?”
Dionysus gazed wearily. “I have no love for them. Athena, do you really think it wise to destroy them?”
“I do not pass judgement,” she said. “I only point out the risk. What we do, the Council must decide.”
“I will not have them punished,” Artemis cut in hotly. “I will have them rewarded. If we punish heroes who do us such a great favour, then we are no better than the titans, are we not? If this is Olympian justice, I will have none of it.”
“Calm down, sis,” Apollo scoffed. “Chill. Jeez, you need to lighten up.”
“Don’t call me sis! I will reward them!”
“Well, perhaps. But the monster must be destroyed. We have agreement on that?”
“Bessie?” Percy burst out. “You want to destroy Bessie?”
Your heart swelled. Gosh, he cared. It was lovely.
And then you wanted to slap yourself.
What was up with the emotions lately?
Poseidon frowned. “You have named the Ophiotaurus Bessie?”
“Dad,” Percy said. “He’s just a sea creature. A really nice sea creature. You can’t destroy him.”
Poseidon shifted uncomfortably, a trait Percy shared with him, you noted. “Percy, it’s power is considerable. If the titans were to steal it, or—”
“You can’t,” Percy insisted.
Zeus opened his mouth, looking as though he was getting antsier by the second. But you had experience with this sort of thing that needed a good negotiation, so you cut in.
“Controlling the prophecies never works. Isn’t that true?” You tried, stepping forward. All eyes landed on you, and you swallowed. “Have we not just experienced it? Are we not experiencing it now? The Ophiotaurus is innocent. Killing something like that is wrong. It’s as wrong as Kronos eating his children just because of something they might do.”
Zeus looked to be considering it. You breathed heavily, in a mild panic after consulting the king of the gods head on. If he wanted to, you could be zapped out of existence in less than a second.
“And what of the risk? Kronos knows full well, if one of you were to sacrifice the beast’s entrails you would have the power to destroy all of us. Do you think we can let this possibility remain? You, my daughter, will turn sixteen on the morrow, just as the prophecy says.”
“You have to trust them,” you tried, pleading with your eyes. “Please, you have to trust them.”
Zeus scowled. “Trust a hero?”
“She is right,” Artemis nodded slowly. “Which is why I must first make a reward. My faithful companion, Zoe Nightshade, has passed into the stars. I must have a new lieutenant. And I intend to choose one, but first, father Zeus, I must speak with you privately.”
Zeus beckoned Artemis forward, leaning to listen as she whispered to him.
“Annabeth,” Percy whispered from behind you. “Don’t.”
“What?”
“Look, I need to tell you something. I couldn’t stand it if—I don’t want you to—”
Artemis turned. “I will have a new lieutenant, if she will accept it. Thalia, daughter of Zeus, will you join the Hunt?”
Your jaw almost dropped. Stunned silence filled the room.
“I will,” Thalia said firmly. She moved to your side, and then a little bit further ahead. Confident.
Zeus rose, his eyes full of concern. “My daughter, consider well—”
Don’t let him change your mind, you prayed. Hold your ground.
“Father, I will not turn sixteen tomorrow,” she shook her head. “I will never turn sixteen. I won’t let this prophecy be mine. I stand with my sister Artemis. Kronos will not tempt me again.”
She knelt down before Artemis, and repeated the same words Bianca had uttered what felt like years ago at the cliff side in the snow and weary sunlight.
When she had finished, she hugged each of you and said a few words. You felt awkward, putting your hands into your coat pockets, when Thalia stood in front of you. For once, there was no spiteful comments from either one of you. She smiled small, looking rejuvenated the same way Bianca had, as if the quest had never happened.
“You’re a good friend,” she nodded. “You’re brave. You’ve got what it takes to help them with this prophecy.” And then she leaned in, and hugged you just as she had with Annabeth and Grover and Percy. “Trust yourself.”
Thalia went and stood with Artemis, and the atmosphere changed instantly.
“Now, for the Ophiotaurus.”
“The boy is still dangerous,” Mr. D. opposed. The beast is a temptation to great power. Even if we spare the boy—”
“No.” Percy said firmly. “Please. Keep the Ophiotaurus safe. My dad can hide him under the sea somewhere, or keep him in an aquarium here. But you have to protect him.”
“And why should we trust you?”
“I’m only fourteen. If this prophecy is about me, that’s only two more years.”
“Two years for Kronos to deceive you,” Athena uttered. “Much can change in two years, young hero. It is only the truth. It is bad strategy to keep the boy alive. And the animal.”
Poseidon stood. “I will not have the creature destroyed if I can help it. And I can, help it.”
He held out his hand, and a spear shimmering with blue light appeared. “I will vouch for the boy and the safety of the Ophiotaurus.”
“You won’t take it under the sea!” Zeus stood suddenly. “I won’t have that kind of bargaining chip in your possession.”
“Brother, please,” Poseidon sighed.
Zeus’s lightening bolt appeared in his hand, and the whole room filled with the smell of ozone.
“Fine,” Poseidon nodded. “I will build an aquarium for the sea creature here, with the help of Hephaestus. The creature will be safe. The boy will not betray us. I vouch for this on my honor.”
Zeus thought about it. “All in favor?”
A dozen hands went up, besides Mr. D, your mother’s, and Ares just sat looking bored.
“We have a majority. And so, since we are not destroying these heroes, I imagine we should reward them.”
There are parties, and then there are Olympian parties. And Olympian parties are filled with gold and beautiful colours, exotic flowers and the Muses music, braziers of fire, and delicious food and drinks. It became busy very quickly, and before you knew it, you found yourself stumbling into a corner to get yourself together. All you wished to do was go to your cabin and cry. To let it all out.
“This doesn’t look like you’re partying.”
“What the hell are you? A spy? Just leave me alone.” You shoved yourself further into the corner just away from all the partying, a quiet corridor devoid of anything but cold marble and tall, golden ceilings.
Ares hummed lowly. You didn’t have to see him, shoved into the corner like a child, but you knew he was just on the other side of it.
“I’ll let you off just this once, demigod.”
You rolled your eyes. The marble edges dug into your back uncomfortably from how hard you were trying to disappear for a few minutes. “What do you want? Spit it out.”
“If you weren’t her’s, I would say you’re one of mine. You’ve got the fire, I’ll give you that. And my wife has taken a special interest in you and that boy. Her business is my business, you’ll understand. Since you’re her business, now, you’re my business, too.”
You wanted to scream at him to leave, to go away so you could breathe for five minutes. But…you really wanted to know what he had to say. Curiosity always got the better of you.
“I don’t want to be anybody’s business,” you settled on, weakly. “I’m my own person.”
“Whatever, kid. I’m just here to pass along a message.”
“Which is?”
“She says, you’re doing exactly what you should be doing.”
“Oh, really?”
You shoved away from the corner, and paused.
He’d already gone.
Making your way back into the crowd was the last thing you wanted to do, but it would be best to show your face for a little while. Eventually you made your way back to Percy. He smiled as you popped up next to him, and then slowly frowned. His green eyes glistened under all the lights.
“You’ve been crying,” he reached up, and then lowered his hand, unsure of what to do.
You laughed pitifully. “Yeah.”
Because, really, what more could you say? It was rather obvious. And you sounded as if you’d just developed the world’s worst cold and stuffy nose.
Percy still stared at you, concerned. It was touching, really.
“I’m just tired.” You nodded. “I promise. When we get back to camp you might not see me for a couple weeks. I’m about to fall off the face of the earth in sleep mode.”
He smiled, tight-lipped, those eyes dancing across your face. For the first time ever under Percy’s eyes, you felt self-conscious.
“I’ll clean up later. My dad always says I look like I’ve just done thirty rounds of coke after crying. It’s funny because it’s true,” you tried lightly.
Percy’s dark curls shook. “No,” he denied. “I think you look…I think you look pretty—uh—I mean—”
Your heart jumped into your throat, and suddenly it was difficult to breathe. Because AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
“Uhm—” you frantically tried for something to do; hair behind your ears, leaning back and forth on your heels. “Thank you. Thanks.” Heat flooded your cheeks. Percy was already scarlet in the face, nodding frantically, avoiding your eyes.
When you looked up, Athena watched from a distance, and then looked away, as if she hadn’t been interested at all. But you weren’t about to let her ruin what just happened—Percy called you pretty.
“I was thinking,” he shoved out. You turned your head, blinking expectantly. “I owe you a dance, don’t I? We got interrupted at Westover Hall, right?”
This time, you allowed yourself to smile, your heart and lungs expanding.
“Right.” You took his hand, shaking.
The music played on, a gentle tune of the future, the past, and the present.
Chiron greeted you all at the Big House with hot chocolate and toasted cheese sandwiches. Grover went off to his satyr friends, telling them all about his brief experience with Pan.
Annabeth, Percy and yourself sat with Chiron by the fire. A couple of others joined you, too—Clarisse, back from a quest of her own it seemed. Her hair was cut short, like somebody had hacked it with scissors without a care, and there was a jagged scar on her chin. For once, she kept quiet.
“I got news,” she said glumly. “Bad news.”
“I’ll fill you in later,” Chiron said with forced cheerfulness. “The important thing is you’ve prevailed. And you’ve saved Annabeth!”
The Stoll brothers were there, too. You hadn’t even looked Travis in the eye. The high of the short dance with Percy had worn off, that tiny spark of normality had gone, and left you with the sadness you’d been feeling before it. You struggled with getting Bianca and Zoe’s deaths from the front of your mind, and Thalia’s moving on. Everybody was leaving, it felt like. And everybody was too happy for what had happened along the way.
Percy, sitting next to you in front of the fire, felt the same. You could tell by the sheer look of something bordering on a deep sadness he had.
You didn’t speak.
Annabeth talked about Atlas, and where she had been kept. She yawned the whole way through, still shaking with weakness even after some ambrosia.
Chiron’s positivity spread a little bit to you tired campers, but in the end, the unwavering need to go somewhere and cry won. You set down your mug of hot chocolate, and walked away. Another chair scratched the floor behind you, as you walked away toward the fields.
“Let her be,” you heard Chiron utter. “She needs time.”
You heard happy babbling just as you wandered away, boyish, childish talking. You looked to the left, and there was Nico di Angelo, two figurines in hands, talking to himself the way children tend to do. Every organ in your body twisted painfully, and you got away before he could see you. You couldn’t be the one to tell him Bianca was long gone. You still didn’t want to believe it yourself.
The air was bitter cold, your fingertips numb already. Snow fell lightly as you wandered into where you probably shouldn’t have been. You didn’t get far until his voice caught you up.
“Scout?”
You stopped, the snow crunching quietly. Behind you, Travis grew closer until he was right in front of you. You hadn’t even realized how tall he’d gotten until you saw him again, like seeing him in a different light.
Bundled in a red sweater and jeans, a coat and scarf atop of that, he still shivered.
“I just need to go for a walk. I’ll be alright later.” You shrugged.
Silence captured the air. Until he said, “Chiron…mentioned what happened to Nico’s sister. And the Hunter girl. Zoe. I’m—I’m so sorry.”
The first tear fell without any effort. And then you grew too cold too quickly. And crumbled.
He enveloped you instantly, as if without thought—like the action would be unknown, to hesitate in your arms. Against his warm, soft chest, Travis’s heart beat gently against your ear, his hands coming up carefully to your back, to your shoulder.
Safety.
And at the end of it—Travis.
You allowed yourself the tears. Your hands scrunched at his shirt. He smelled of the outside weather, of wind
of life.
PAIN. So, we’ve reached the end of Titans Curse! How are we feeling so far about relationships and eve thing? Feedback is always appreciated!

Here it is luv!
I'm an Asian who uses she/they pronouns and an Aquarius and INTJ. My sexuality is bi demiromantic. I'm 5'0 with tan skin, black hair, brown eyes and glasses.I'm bilingual. People say I look intimidating and unapproachable since I don't smile or talk much around strangers but I try my best to be polite and nice.I'm very introverted and shy. I'll need to warm up to people but when I do, I will surprisingly be energetic.
I consider myself a fair, open minded and laid back person. I like to seek out my friends' company when bored. I either ask them to do something wholesome or something they are afraid of with me. I'm down to do anything with my friends. I'm hardworking if its something that interests me. I'm very creative but can't seem to make my ideas into reality. If I'm not good at something, I tend to put it on hold until I get motivated again. I'm kind of a pacifist but I will fight if pushed too far or my loved ones are endangered.
My friends describe my  sense of humor as dark and cursed. I can be mischievous and chaotic but still reliable and smart. My hobbies are baking, gaming, art, true crime and supernatural stuff. I express my love with gifts and quality time more than physical affection but I'm ok with PDA. I'm gonna be emotionally unavailable at 1st. My fav kind of date is a picnic.A negative trait of mine would be barely taking initiative at 1st due to fear of rejection. My ideal type is someone who I can trust with my life, someone I've known for a long time, very respectful of my boundaries and protective. Like I said in my previous ask- I'm a Hades kid
Okay, this is going to be a long one, so get comfortable lol
You’ve been at Camp Half-Blood since you were six, and mostly stayed in a room in the Big House: the Hermes kids were too afraid of you to have you in their Cabin.
For a long time, it was expected that you’d be the one to fulfil the prophecy, but turns out you were just a few months younger than Percy.
You and Annabeth are pretty close, because the two of you were kind of the only ones around the same age for a long time.
In fact, you were probably the one to tell her and Luke that Thalia's spirit was still in the tree, being able to sense her with your powers.
As a child of Hades, you totally wield one of those Stygian iron swords.
So now that we have established a bit of background, let’s get to how the series progresses with you there.
When Percy is claimed, you kinda take him under your wing. The two of you bond over being kids of one of the Big Three, and it doesn’t take long to become friends.
You were very much against letting Percy, an inexperienced son of Poseidon, go on a quest already. He attracts every monster in a five mile radius and there’s no way he’s already had enough practice to be able to take them all. Also, he’s literally 12.
But there isn’t much that can be done about that, so you sit back and anxiously wait for him, Grover, and Annabeth to return.
The fact that Annabeth is there with him, is at least some consolation. She’s smart enough to keep the three of them alive.
While you stay at camp, you start getting a weird sense every night, like a constant chill running down your spine. You can tell there's some dark entity in the camp, but also... It's not really there?
You’ve felt it before, but never as strong as this. Naturally, your curiosity urges you to find out what it is. It could be a threat, after all.
But as you sneak through the shadows of the camp, dodging harpies along the way, you can feel the darkness start to fade. The night seems a little brighter now, and you are none the wiser as to what that presence was.
You feel it almost every night, but it fades away whenever you go looking for it.
Maybe you’re looking in the wrong place.
You figure it out by accident, when you suddenly sense it while you’re dreaming.
It is so much stronger now.
That’s when it all clicks together: someone in this camp is being haunted by some dark entity in their dreams.
We know children of Hades can walk in others’ dreams, but it takes time to figure this out.
You don’t even know whose dream you need to invade.
So during the day, you start paying close attention to see if anyone looks more tired than usual.
Clarissa looks tired, but she was up teaching a spear-fighting class all day yesterday, so that’s not surprising.
Luke doesn’t look much better, but he’s the head of Cabin 11 and he’s probably stressed about Annabeth being on her first quest, so no surprises there either.
There’s Chiron, but he’s running a camp full of teenage kids with strange powers. If anyone’s allowed to be tired, it would be him.
So your search mainly remains fruitless.
You do get better at dreamwalking: it’s surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it.
When you feel the presence again while you’re asleep, you let yourself be pulled towards its energy. The closer you get, the more you get the feeling you’re about to fall.
Whatever entity this is, it’s ancient.
In the end, you don’t get to see it, but you hear a familiar voice whisper a name.
Kronos.
You try to warn Chiron and Mr. D, but they both pretty much dismiss your concerns. They say they’ll look into it, but you have a feeling it’s only to get you to go back to bed.
Everyone is surprised about Luke’s betrayal, but you least of all. You already knew someone was having very, very dark dreams. You just didn’t know they were having them voluntarily.
Chiron apologises to you for not listening, but ultimately, you both know it wouldn’t have mattered.
And that’s it for Lightning Thief! Let’s move on now.
Because children of Hades kan pick up on spirits, you’re the first person to know that Thalia’s tree is poisoned, because you can feel her spirit fading.
You once again stay back from the quest because, you know, child of Hades on the big open sea just isn’t a stellar idea. You doubt Poseidon is going to do anything that might risk Percy’s life, but there’s no need to take risks.
But it’s not like you’re not doing anything. The barrier is gone, and monsters can freely come and go as they please. All those demigods in one place… Camp Half-Blood had practically become a beacon.
You take a lot of night shifts on guard duty, as monsters -at least the more intelligent ones- turn around the second they see your sword.
At the same time, Chiron teaches you how you can use your powers to keep Thalia’s spirit from fading as long as possible.
And, whenever you manage to get some sleep, you use your dreams to try and locate your friends and see if they’re doing alright.
All in all, it’s a very tiring time.
Somehow, despite having taken an airplane home, everyone comes home safely.
And then the Golden Fleece resurrects Thalia.
You’re there when it happens, having resigned yourself to watching over her tree to see if it’s working (and to catch up with Annabeth, who tells you and Thalia all about her quest).
Obviously, you mercilessly tease her about Percy. That’s what friends do lol.
But then you suddenly feel a spike in Thalia’s life force.
And before you know it, she’s actually there. In the flesh.
And then there’s three kids of the Big Three.
But little do you know, things are about to get a hell of a lot more chaotic.
That one was a little shorter, but now comes the Titan’s Curse, and with that… well, you know who makes his entrance now ;)
You join Percy, Thalia, and Annabeth when they go to Westover Hall. You can’t explain it, but you have a feeling you need to be there.
Which means you get to meet Sally Jackson, who practically adopts you the way she’s already adopted Annabeth and Thalia.
Speaking of Thalia, you and her have become pretty close since she came back to life. Thalia seems like she’d enjoy true crime and she’s probably interested in the supernatural as well, so you bond over that.
You, Thalia, and Annabeth have basically become a chaotic trio. Sparring matches with the three of you are a frequent occurrence.
But anyway. At Westover Hall, you’re the one who uses the Mist to manipulate the teacher. You’ve been training to use it ever since you first came to camp, and even though Thalia is skilled with it already, all of you agree that it’s better to be safe than sorry.
While you’re at the party, Grover pulls you aside and quietly tells you that the aura of the kids he saw, is scarily similar to yours.
He asks if there’s a chance Hades had any other kids after you, but you doubt it. Breaking the agreement once is tricky, doing it twice? Hades is smarter than that.
Of course that’s when shit hits the fan.
During the battle by the cliffs, you mostly focus on keeping the two kids you came here for safe. Maybe Grover was right about them being related to you.
And then shit somehow manages to hit the fan even harder, because the Hunters of Artemis just had to interfere and chase the Manticore off the cliff -and Annabeth with it.
None of you know what to do, then. You, Thalia, and Percy are all devastated and full of guilt. Kids of the Big Three, and none of you were able to save her -your best friend, the girl Thalia practically raised, the girl Percy loves.
You’re grateful for the Hunters giving you shelter for the time being. Artemis herself offers both you and Thalia a position in the hunt, but you both decline. You’re a child of the god of the Underworld: you understand better than anyone that death is a vital part of the natural order.
Bianca Di Angelo, however, immediately says yes. Both you and Nico are hurt by her decision; by now you’re fairly certain the Do Angelo’s are your siblings, and for Bianca to ditch both of you so quickly, without even getting to know you… well, it stings.
You, Thalia, Percy, and Nico return to Camp with the Hunters, while Artemis goes her own way. The atmosphere at camp is horribly depressing.
Everyone at least knew Annabeth, and most people cared about her, or even loved her.
When Grover, Zoe Nightshade, Bianca, and Thalia embark on their quest, you are up all night. That’s how you catch Percy sneaking off after him.
You tell him to take you along, and he agrees before you can even try and convince him.
It would be a good time, you know, if you weren’t trying to find a missing goddess and your presumed dead best friend.
Percy explains his dream to you, about Annabeth being forced to take the weight of the sky. You try your best to reassure him by saying that if anyone can take it, it’s Annabeth.
When the two of you are caught, you have a shouting match with Zoe. She claims you’re endangering the mission; you accuse her of not giving a shit about Annabeth, and saying that Artemis would be disappointed to be the focus of this quest when there was a young woman who needed help.
It’s a mess, but Percy and Thalia have your back. Bianca admits that she, too, believes that Artemis would want them to rescue Annabeth first. Even Grover, who honestly just wants to stay as far away from the argument as possible, quietly agrees.
Apollo helps you guys get to the Junkyard of the Gods…
But Bianca is not lost in a land without rain, like she would normally be.
Because you are still the most powerful child of Hades present.
So when Talos activates? You create a fissure in the ground with your sword, one so broad and deep that even Talos can’t cross it.
Not without falling in and breaking down for once and for all.
When you get to Mount Othrys, tensions are at an all time high. Thalia, Percy, and you are all anxious to find Annabeth, but also dreading the prospect of having to see Luke again.
Zoe gets poisoned, but rather than Percy, you’re the one who takes the weight of the sky from Artemis so she can fight Atlas and make him take your place again.
It’s just in time to see Luke go ever the edge of a cliff. You can feel the moment his body hits the ground, but you don’t feel him die.
When the Olympians suggest to kill Percy to keep him from becoming the next child of the prophecy, after Thalia accepts Artemis’ offer, you’re the first to rush to his defence.
“What are you going to do, kill all of us? First Perce, then me, and eventually Nico?”
Luckily, Artemis stands in your corner as well, and she takes no shit from her fellow Olympians.
Important to note: since Bianca is alive and with the Hunters, Nico never runs away from Camp…
I feel like these are only getting longer and longer lol. Onto the Battle of the Labyrinth.
So obviously things go very different: Nico is still at Camp Half-Blood, and is quickly progressing in skill under your training.
The two of you have become close, especially now that Bianca is away with the Hunters -though she frequently writes to you both.
Still, Nico desires answers for why he can’t remember anything from the past.
He strays into the Underworld with unnerving ease, and he even manages shadow travel, something even you aren’t capable of yet. You can’t help but be a little jealous.
So while Nico is off finding his answers, you perfect your sword-fighting skills. It doesn’t take long before you meet Quintus, but you don’t like him. Granted, you don’t instantly like people most of the time, but something about the guy feels off.
You already know about the entrance to the Labyrinth: you worked with Clarisse and Annabeth to try and figure out how Luke and the Titan Army might use this to their advantage.
Naturally, when Annabeth embarks on her quest, she asks you along: even your geokinetic abilities aren’t fully able to find a way through the Labyrinth, but you at least can sense where exits and entrances are.
The Labyrinth makes you feel like you’re walking on the edge of a knife: one wrong step and you’ll spiral into madness forever.
You can sense the madness around you: of the man who created it, of those who perished here.
Certain parts are so full of spirits that walking through them makes you feel like you’re suffocating.
You don’t make a pitstop at the Triple G Ranch because there is nothing there for you to find.
Instead, you go straight to Hephaestus’ workshop.
Which leads to the incident with the volcano.
After Percy’s apparent death, you’re the one who leads everyone back to Camp.
That’s when Nico contacts you through a dream, asking for help. The contact is cut off before you can ask what’s wrong, but you caught a glimpse of his environment.
You head straight back to the Labyrinth, and focus on your powers like you never have before. You can feel your half-brother’s spirit if you try hard enough, and it leads to Antaeus’ arena.
That’s where you run into Nico -and Luke and his forces. Nico, not hardened by the loss of Bianca, still had the innocence to trust Luke. Until, you know, he got captured.
You put up a fight, but you’ve been wandering the Labyrinth for days with little to no rest while drawing on a great deal of your powers.
You’re embarrassed by how quickly they capture you to.
But thankfully, most of the Titan Army is none too clever. They let you rest and keep you fed, in the hope that you might change your mind and join their side.
So when you’re called upon to fight and see Percy in the arena… we’ll, Antaeus never stood a chance. You make your escape with Percy, Nico, Annabeth, ands mortal girl named Rachel Elizabeth Dare.
You yell at Percy for, like, 20 minutes straight for making you think he was dead.
When you meet Daedalus, everything makes sense. Of course Daedalus and Quintus are the same person.
You all arrive just in time to see Kronos rise, and from there it’s just a mad dash back to Camp to warm them of what’s coming.
Well. With one small interruption when you discover Pan’s last resting place.
You can’t explain it, but you feel as if Pan has a connection to you. Maybe it has something to do with the wilderness dying. Maybe it’s just because death is a vital part of life.
Whatever the case, it feels as if he’s trying to tell you something.
You arrive back at Camp just before all hell breaks loose.
Things seem to go your way at first, the monsters slowed by the narrow entrance, and with Daedalus, Briares, and Mrs. O’Leary on your side.
But then there’s Kampê.
Grover manages to summon panic and send the monsters scrambling back to the Labyrinth, but they’ll come back soon enough.
That’s when Daedalus asks you to release his spirit, as it will destroy the Labyrinth and everything in it.
So you do.
You’ve never actually set a spirit free, but it’s not hard.
And when you do, you become the Ghost Ruler.
Nevertheless, despite winning the battle, the losses are devastating. You can feel dead all around you…
… but you also feel life.
This was what Pan was trying to tell you. Children of Hades do not just sense death, but also the absence of it.
You start to wonder if it might be possible for you to reverse the dying process, or at least slow it down. After all, you also kept Thalia’s spirit from fading when her tree was poisoned.
There is power over life in the power over death.
Alright, onto the grand finale!
You know the battle is approaching fast, so you spent almost the entire year in the Underworld, perfecting your powers.
Nico is with you, trying to force some answers out of your dad.
You try to convince Hades to fight in the upcoming war, but he’s stubborn over how the Olympians rejected him, despite him being one of the most powerful gods. He reminds you that you and Nico don’t even have a cabin at camp.
And for a moment, you understand his bitterness, and with it, you understand what drove Luke and so many others to this.
But just because you don’t have your own cabin, doesn’t mean you don’t have a place at camp.
You return to camp not long after Annabeth sends you an Iris message about the disaster on the Princess Andromeda.
You arrive just in time to learn that the gods are trying to slow down Typhon.
Unbeknownst to you, Nico low-key kidnaps Percy.
You’re just trying to keep roughly 100 stressed and scared teenagers with free access to weapons from killing each other.
When you finally all go to the Empire State Building to defend the city and Mount Olympus, you run into Percy.
“Your brother kidnapped me.”
“Why do you have an aura of invincibility?”
“Shit, is it that obvious?”
You also reunite with Bianca and Thalia when the Hunters arrive.
“Bianca, your brother kidnapped me.”
Bianca, who has taken over Thalia’s sense of humor: “Good for him.”
The battle is in full swing, and while you’re not outnumbered, you’d feel a hell of a lot better if there were some Underwordly reinforcements.
There’s the disaster on the bridge, and Annabeth getting stabbed, and then some Titan tries to convince Percy to open Pandora’s Box and release hope.
When Percy refuses, it becomes clear how this is going to end: in victory or in death.
The battles go and on, and you’re not sure how much longer you can keep doing this.
But just when all hope seems lost, Hades arrives with Demeter, Persephone, Nico, and an army of undead warriors.
You are so happy you weren’t there for that awkward family gathering.
You’re with Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Thalia when they follow Kronos and Ethan Nakamura up to Olympus.
When the statue of Hera falls, you hold it back with your powers until everyone has safely passed underneath.
The battle in the throne room is a brutal one, but then Ethan suddenly switches sides after Percy talks to him.
Of course Kronos tries to kill him for it, but you manage to stop him from forming the fissure.
Still, all of you are incapacitated: Ethan is bleeding from a bad wound, Annabeth got flung against a throne with a sickening crack, and you and Thalia could only fight for so long after days of tiring battles.
In the end, it’s Annabeth who gets through to Luke.
In the end, Luke is the hero of the prophecy.
When Percy calls the gods out on their bullshit, you can barely refrain from laughing.
The Olympians put you in charge of working with the minor deities to give them the representation they want and deserve.
At the same time, you work closely with Annabeth and Ethan on new cabins for the camp.
Honestly, life is good.
And then Percy goes missing.
I feel like I should apologise for how long this got omg. I hope you enjoy it, though, and if you ever want a Heroes of Olympus continuation, let me know!
Anyway, thank you so much for the request, I had such fun writing this <3

Peaceful Moments
Percy Jackson x Reader Percy Jackson & the Olympians
An anon a few days ago requested something involving the docks. Enjoy!
Requests are open!
“And that’s why there are star bears.”
“Oh my god, no it isn’t.” You smacked his chest lightly. He giggled, catching your hand and interlacing your fingers, resting your hands on his chest.
You used to think that being an adult at summer camp was kind of cringy and a little sad. But now that you were an adult at summer camp… well, you couldn’t be happier. You loved Camp Half Blood. It was the first place that had truly felt like home in a long, long time, even if some of the campers had been wary of you at first.
Being over the age of 18 at camp gave you certain privileges you could never have dreamed of. You taught the survival training classes instead of taking them. You were able to come and go as you pleased, within reason. And perhaps your favorite of all: getting to ignore curfew to hang out with your boyfriend.
You were laying on the old, weather-worn dock, the water of the lake below lapping at the supports as the naiads settle down for the night. It was peaceful, or, at least, as peaceful as you could get in a camp full of demigods. You could hear the bubbling of the lava on the climbing wall and the pegasi clopping around in their stables, preparing to sleep. A few of the other older campers were milling around, but for once, no one came to bother you.
Above, the sky had already darkened, and the stars were out, the constellations just starting to twinkle against the deep purple vastness. Beside you, Percy sighed contentedly, absentmindedly rubbing your thumb with his own as you held hands.
To say you were enjoying yourself was an understatement. You couldn’t help yourself from thinking that just a few years ago, a peaceful evening like this would have been not only unimaginable, it would have been impossible. The two of you had fought wars, you’d lost friends. Percy had been at the center of two huge prophecies that had pushed him so far, you thought something was going to break. It had seemed like fighting and suffering was never going to end.
And then it ended.
Now, your lives were filled with teaching at the camp, shopping for groceries, paying your bills, and hanging out with your brother and his boyfriend on the weekends. Normal people might have looked at your lives and thought you were boring for two people in their early 20s. But you and Percy had had enough excitement and near-death experiences for three lifetimes. Boring was a welcome change.
“We should avoid people more often,” Percy mumbled, shifting so that he was looking at you. “This is nice.”
You hum in agreement, scooting closer to him. Nice was an understatement.
Silently, Percy pointed to the sky. Your eyes followed, trying to see what he was pointing at. Then, it clicked. Twinkling up above you, you could barely make out the shape of a young huntress.
Zoe Nightshade.
When Percy had told you the story, he had described the constellation as an eternal reminder of his failure. You squeezed his hand. You hadn’t been there for most of his quests. You had been stuck with your father until the Battle of New York, and then when you finally got to spend time with Percy, you hadn’t been one of the chosen seven, so you couldn’t help him carry his burden. You had fought your own battles, sure, and had demons of your own to face, but for the most part, you could only guess at Percy’s pain and try to be there for him when it seemed insurmountable.
After a moment, he sighed, readjusting himself to look at you again. You faced him, your eyes studying his face. His sea green eyes looked positively stormy in the dim light. A small smile played on his lips as he reached out to brush a stray strand of hair off your forehead. Despite everything, he looked happy.
“What do you want to do for your birthday this year?” You don’t know why that particular question bubbled its way to the surface now, of all times.
For a second, Percy looked at you, an eyebrow raised quizzically. Then, he laughed, loud and joyous, and though of course you had heard him laugh before, you never wanted him to stop. When his laughter stopped, the smile it had left behind made your heart soar.
“Gods, I dunno.” He took a second, and you could tell he was really thinking. Then, he shrugged. “I would honestly be fine with just renting a movie and inviting Nico and Will over. We could get pizza from Freddie’s and just hang.”
You nodded. “Your mom and Paul said about doing something that weekend, too.”
“Well, yeah,” he said it as if it was obvious. “But mom’s gonna go all out for that and she’s probably going to try to make a cake, even though I told her she didn’t have to.” He sighed. “I love relaxing at home with you. Weirdly enough, I like hanging out with your brother and his boyfriend.” He kissed you quickly, and it caught you off-guard. He grinned. “There is nothing more that I would rather do than sit at home eating good pizza and watching a shitty movie with you.”
You smiled. “Then it’s a date.”
He smiled and kissed you again. This time, you were prepared.

Mornings. Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano x Genderless Reader.
Reyna had long ago found that she had a love/hate relationship with mornings. She hated them because it meant that she was forced out of bed to do menial tasks like; allow extra toilet paper for cohort three or break up a fight between a legionnaire and a Huntress of Artemis/Diana. However, Reyna had grown accustomed to forcing herself out of bed for these tasks. She simply loathed this part of the morning, however she hated with a passion the other aspect of the morning. It meant having to leave her precious baby. Yes, the great, unemotional Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano had fallen for someone. At first the Roman Praetor had been worried about falling for the dangerous game of love again. But after eleven months of peace, adoration and a surprising amount of surprise kisses, Reyna decided that she had made the right choice. Reyna’s deep seeded hate for mornings appeared one morning as she woke up. Reyna’s eyes fluttered open slowly, a light yawn escaping her plump lips as he legs stretched down to the foot of the bed. The gilded purple covers of her bed felt soft and warm at Reyna’s touch. In this moment, everything was perfect. Birds chirped outside in the warm summer breeze of July. A cloudless sky gave way for Apollo’s sun chariot to spread its rays to the mortal world below. Reyna’s body was warm and lazy, despite her usually ever-present professional exterior, Reyna was often a big teddy bear behind closed doors. A lazy smile formed on the Praetor’s face as she felt someone shuffling beside her. Yes, it had been the first night where Reyna and (Y/n) had decided to sleep together. But the pair wholeheartedly agreed to not perform any extremely intimate acts. The most the two did was kiss… a lot. Reyna felt as if she was addicted to (Y/n)’s kisses. Their full lips felt naturally soft against Reyna’s. Reyna had once tried to slip her tongue inside (Y/n)’s mouth, however this resulted in the Daughter of Bellona receiving the silent treatment for the rest of the week. Reyna didn’t hold it against the child of Hercules though. (Y/n)’s body curled into a fetal position, trying to stay as warm as possible. (Y/n)’s back was pressed against Reyna’s side in an attempt to draw heat from her. Reyna’s smile turned from lazy, into one of adoration as her eyes lingered on (Y/n)’s form. (Y/n) had worm a pair of pajama bottoms with a theme of Lion King. The pair had gotten quite a laugh out of that. (Y/n) also wore a pajama shirt of just plain silver. Reyna however, was more outgoing and comfortable with their relationship. True she had felt guarded and against it at first, but the child of the God of Strength had worn her down. Due to this, Reyna simply wore her undergarments to bed, much to the embarrassment of (Y/n) who wouldn’t stop blushing. But now, in the morning, Reyna wanted nothing more than to simply lay here with (Y/n). However, there were still things that needed to be done. Especially after Gaea’s attack on the camps. Even several months after the seven Heroes of Olympus had defeated the Earth Mother, things were not back to normal. Jason’s incessant badgering for new temples gave Reyna more migraines than Octavian. Usually, Reyna slept next to the edge of the bed so she could quiet literally, roll out of bed in the morning. But she had wanted to be next to (Y/n), and now she was in the middle of the large, king sized bed. (Y/n) turned around, still sleeping. (Y/n) wrapped their arms around Reyna’s waist, a smile tugging at their lips as (Y/n) laid their head against Reyna’s exposed back. Reyna allowed herself a small smile, she bent down and kissed (Y/n)’s forehead gingerly before flinging the covers off herself and stepping from the bed. What Reyna did not prepare for, was (Y/n) waking up. “Reyna?” (Y/n) mumbled sleepily, rubbing their eyes lazily. (Y/n) had felt the disturbance from Reyna flinging the blankets away. “Sorry baby, I didn’t mean to wake you.” Reyna’s soft, melodic voice made (Y/n) feel warm inside. (Y/n) reached out with a hand and clasped Reyna’s hand. “Don’t leave me” (Y/n) whined dramatically. Reyna bubbled out a laugh but silenced herself quickly. “I can’t stay my Flos Pulcherrimus. I have work” Reyna’s heart shattered into a trillion pieces when she saw the tears forming in (Y/n)’s eyes as a pout wobbled on her face. (Y/n) sniffed, trying to keep the tears in. “Fine” (Y/n) spoke, not daring to say more. (Y/n) rolled over so that Reyna was facing (Y/n)’s back. “Flos Pulcherrimus. Don’t be like that” Reyna spoke softly, worried that if she spoke any louder (Y/n) would disappear before her eyes. “Sadness doesn’t look good on you.” But (Y/n) still refused to meet Reyna’s face. Guilt and sadness hit Reyna like one of Jason’s lightning bolts. The pain of making (Y/n) so sad was worse than anything Reyna had felt before. She would gladly face against Orion again if it meant that (Y/n) would be happy. However, Reyna is a duty first love life second kind of girl, so with a bitter sweet kiss to (Y/n)’s cheek, Reyna left the cabin she and (Y/n) shared while at Camp Half-Blood. The Heracles cabin at Camp Half-Blood wasn’t the most loved cabin nor was it the most looked after. Most if not all Demi-gods detested the God of Strength. Even (Y/n), who was normally the sweetest and nicest person around, didn’t like the immortal son of Zeus. Its foundations had been made haphazardly and it was only at the command of Chiron that the children of Vulcan and Hephaestus began reworking the cabin so that (Y/n) wouldn’t nearly be killed by a falling beam in their sleep. Reyna knew what Heracles had done that really ticked (Y/n) off. Usually, the gods and goddesses claimed their children on their thirteenth birthday with a holographic projection of their symbols above the child’s head. Grover had brought (Y/n) to camp when they were fifteen years old and it took the anger of Perseus Jackson and several other key Demi-Gods to finally find out who (Y/n)’s father was. Unfortunately, no one was exactly happy. Especially after (Y/n) learnt from Percy and Annabeth about what Heracles had done to Zoe Nightshade. The temple of Hercules at New Rome also remained deserted. It reminded Reyna of the Neptune temple before Percy had been made Praetor. Old, moldy fruits and nuts sat at the pedestal, cobwebs covered all the corners and pieces of stone crumbled from the lack of attention. Reyna knew it was a sore subject to talk about Heracles in front of (Y/n) so she stayed far away from the subject. Whenever someone talked about how Hercules did something bad, (Y/n) would do nothing to defend him. What Reyna did not know, was that as she left (Y/n) alone in bed that morning Reyna would be in some deep trouble for a long time. Reyna walked into the mess hall at exactly twelve O’clock. After a morning full of paperwork and boring talks with architects and even a talk with Chiron regarding the Mars/Ares inter cabin competition. So, when it was time for lunch. Reyna was more than happy to eat something with (Y/n). However, when Reyna walked over to (Y/n)’s usual spot she found no child of Heracles in sight. Confusion crossed over Reyna’s face as she sat with her friends, the Heroes of Olympus. “Yo, Reyna what’s cracka lacking?” Leo asked cheerfully, Reyna didn’t acknowledge the son of Hephaestus’ childish remark. “Have any of you seen (Y/n) recently?” Reyna as the plate before her filled with sandwiches. “Not that I can think of” Offered Annabeth from beside Percy and Piper. “Oh, I saw (Y/n) at the archery range this morning” Offered Frank. This made sense to the daughter of Bellona, because (Y/n) hated using the naturally inhuman strength gifted by Hercules. Instead (Y/n) favoured the bow, which Reyna knew she disliked because even Jason Grace had been impressed by the way (Y/n) had used an imperial gold combat axe. “Yeah, although (Y/n) did seem really upset. And that’s putting it mildly.” Piper added “Yeah, they just left me hanging this morning.” Percy mumbled as he ate a double decker blue pizza. “Yeah but we all know how… delicate… (Y/n) can be” Hazel defended and her words got Reyna thinking. “Delicate… Oh, by the gods.” Reyna cursed herself silently as she stood, taking her plate of sandwiches with her. “You’ll have to excuse me. I must fix a mistake” With that, Reyna sped walked out of the Mess hall. The Praetor of the Twelfth Legion briskly walked through the newly formed Greek/Roman camp. She passed hundreds of Demi-Gods as she made her way to the beach. Reyna knew that (Y/n) simply adored the ocean. Apparently, (Y/n)’s mother was an open water swimming coach and so (Y/n) and their mortal family often went swimming in the ocean. Reyna’s eyes scanned the golden beach carefully, waves crashed gently across the shore. A evergreen tree grew at the edge of the beach, where grass turned to sand, its branches stretching over the waves. Hidden below the branches, Reyna saw the hunched over form of (Y/n) (L/n). Reyna felt the sand shift beneath her feet as she discarded her sandals. The soft, foaming waves caressed Reyna’s toes as she sat down next to (Y/n). The pair sat in silence, Reyna simply content with being next to (Y/n). “I thought you had work to do” Reyna heard (Y/n) mumble beside her. In response, Reyna scooted closer to the child of Heracles. “I did, I still do. But, I noticed you weren’t at lunch so I brought you some food” (Y/n) looked down at the plate of sandwiches nestled in the sand at her side. The child of Heracles picked a sandwich filled cheese and ham, with only slight hesitation (Y/n) began nibbling on the food. After a while all the sandwiches had been eaten by the pair. “I’m sorry for this morning (Y/n)” Reyna spoke sincerely, not wanting to hurt (Y/n) any more than she already did. “No. It was my fault. I was being selfish and wanted you to myself. I should have known that I couldn’t have the great Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano to myself. Especially since you’re Praetor.” Reyna scowled at the use of her full name but said nothing. The pair of demigods just stared across the never-ending, never-beginning ocean, peaceful silence enveloping them both. “You know this is usually the part where you say it isn’t my fault then we kiss and make up” (Y/n) said breaking the silence. Reyna had to bite her tongue hard to force her laughter down. Instead she appeared stoic and serious. “But it is your fault.” Reyna said bluntly, causing (Y/n)’s happiness to drop. “I am a Praetor of the twelfth legion. I oversee the daily routines of over hundreds of demigods, even more now thanks to you Greeks.” Reyna’s heart broke a little as (Y/n) curled into a sitting fetal position, Reyna saw tears threatening to spill from (Y/n)’s eyes. And so, she wrapped her significant other in a tight embrace. Resting her chin on the top of (Y/n)’s head. “However, you are still far more precious to me to leave you alone. Flos Pulcherrimus.” Below Reyna, (Y/n) sniffed a little. “What do you mean?” (Y/n) asked. “I mean… That I think Frank can allow me to sleep in a little later, so long as my baby’s happy” Reyna nuzzled (Y/n)’s neck making the younger demigod blush, (Y/n)’s mouth opened to speak but words quickly turned to moans as Reyna nipped her ear lobe. “Let us finish this in your cabin.” Reyna continued huskily. As Reyna thought back to that fateful day, she couldn’t help but smile. The thought of the huge make out session her and (Y/n) had shared that day was enough to make her extremely happy. So yes, Reyna hated mornings. But she loved them because the look in (Y/n)’s eyes when (Y/n) saw that Reyna was still here was greater than any gift the gods could ever give. Speaking of which, Reyna felt the body next to her shift its position. (Y/n) uncurled from a fetal position and laid their head against Reyna’s covered bosom. Reyna wrapped her toned arms possessively around (Y/n)’s shoulders, letting the sheets fall down into their laps. Reyna’s fingers danced through (Y/n)’s bed hair. (Y/n) could feel the softness of Reyna’s fingers causing their eyes to open slowly. “Good morning Flos Pulcherrimus.” Reyna greeted warmly. A smile graced (Y/n)’s lips, their eyes closing once more. “Good morning to you too αστέρι μου” Although Reyna was not fluent in Greek, (Y/n) and Annabeth had taught her more than enough to know the cute pet names (Y/n) called her. “You have your thinking face on… What were you thinking about?” (Y/n) asked rising from their lying position to sit next to Reyna, both their backs being supported by the wall of Cabin 61. Reyna smiled at the person she adored most. “Nothing kind one. Nothing at all.” She replied sweetly.
