Hi! I was wondering if you could write funny jealousy moments with the PJO & HoO boys (Nico and possibly Luke included👉🏼👈🏼), but the person they’re jealous of are fictional guys that y/n is simping over, please and thank you!☺️
I just can’t stop thinking about how funny it would be!😂
PJO/HOO BOYS REACTING TO YOU SIMPING OVER FICTIONAL MEN
Tumblr media
Percy Jackson:
He was just trying to mind his business when you said it. A casual, innocent little sentence while scrolling through your phone.
“God, Levi Ackerman could choke me and I’d apologize.”
Percy actually stopped mid-bite of his sandwich. Just paused, stared into the void like he’d seen a vision from the Oracle.
“…Excuse me?”
You looked up, giggling. “What?”
“Choke you?? CHOKE YOU???”
He stood up like he was about to deliver a courtroom argument. “You want some tiny little anime man to choke you?! I’ve fought actual monsters, sweet girl. Titans. I’ve drowned people! I could actually choke you!”
You laughed harder, which only made it worse.
He started pacing the room. “You know what? No. You want short, angry, and emotionally damaged? I can be that. Watch me.” Then he growled at the wall and immediately pulled a muscle in his neck. Didn’t help that he kept side-eyeing your phone every time you pulled up another Levi gif.
“I swear to the gods if you say ‘Captain’ in that tone again, I’m throwing your phone in the ocean.”
Grover Underwood:
You were scrolling through Twilight memes and laughed. “Honestly? Edward Cullen could bite me any day.”
Grover dropped his salad.
“The glitter vampire?! In front of my salad?!”
You nodded. “He’s broody. Tragic. Kinda romantic.”
Grover put his head in his hands. “He stalked her.”
“Yeah but, like, in a cute way.”
He looked up, aghast. “I am literally half goat. I eat aluminum cans. I write you poetry. But you want sparkles?!”
You hugged him immediately to stop the spiral. Later, he tried to glitter himself using eco-friendly body shimmer.
He sneezed it off and swore never to simp again.
Luke Castellan:
You were watching Death Note, curled up under a blanket, when you sighed.
“God. Light Yagami is so hot.”
Luke turned his head like a slow-rotating horror movie doll.
“…Excuse me?”
You nodded. “So dramatic. So smart. So doomed.”
Luke stared at you, deadpan. “He’s a mass murderer. With a notebook.”
You shrugged. “Hot people get a pass.”
He stood up. “I led a revolution. I had a tragic backstory. Where’s my fangirl arc?”
You glanced at him. “You’re literally Luke Castellan. You had one.”
“…Fair. But say one more thing about Yagami and I’m hiding your pens.”
Nico Di Angelo:
You were rereading Bungou Stray Dogs on your bed, smiling at your screen with this dreamy, far-off look.
Nico noticed. He was suspicious immediately.
“What’s so funny?”
You sighed dramatically. “Dazai is just… everything. The trauma. The suit. The voice. The bandages. I’m in love.”
You didn’t think anything of it until you looked up and saw Nico just staring at you. Dead silent. Face blank.
He muttered under his breath, “Unbelievable.”
“What?”
“I raise the dead. I literally talk to ghosts. But you—you want some suicidal trenchcoat-wearing edge lord??”
He scoffed and walked off. Minutes later you heard Will screaming, "Niccolo, stop trying to summon skeletons!"
You thought he’d let it go. You were wrong.
Later, you found him standing in front of the mirror, trying to tie gauze around his arm.
He caught your reflection and hissed, “Don’t judge me.”
Connor Stoll:
You were watching Naruto and audibly gasped when Kakashi came on screen.
“God, he could unmask just to ruin my life.”
Connor looked up from his comic book and froze. “Kakashi? The anime ninja? The one who reads porn in public?”
You nodded, dreamy-eyed.
He scoffed. “I’ve got one eye open and a sense of humor. What’s he got that I don’t?”
“Trauma,” you replied, half joking.
Connor stood. “Oh, trauma? Say less.”
He came back later wrapped in a scarf, shirt pulled up over half his face, doing dramatic sighs and leaning against walls.
You gave him a look.
He whispered, “Believe it.”
Will Solace:
You were watching Howl’s Moving Castle with stars in your eyes and a dumb little smile on your lips.
Will had seen you smile like that before. But never at him while he was on screen.
“God, I love Howl so much,” you whispered. “He could ruin my credit score and I’d say thank you.”
Will blinked slowly. “He’s animated.”
“So?”
“He’s also unstable, curses people, and throws tantrums over hair dye.”
You shrugged. “He’s passionate.”
Will tossed the remote. “I’m passionate! I heal people for free!”
He tried to brush it off like he wasn’t bothered, but for the rest of the day he kept tossing his hair dramatically and sighing loudly around you.
Later that night, he asked if he should grow his hair out. “I could rock the blonde wizard look.”
Lityerses:
It started simple.
You were curled up on the couch with your phone, giggling to yourself, scrolling through fanart and memes. Lityerses walked by, towel around his neck, hair damp from training, and glanced over with a fond smile.
“You look happy. What’s got you laughing like that?”
“Just scrolling through fan edits of Geralt. From The Witcher.” You sighed dramatically. “He’s so grumpy and scarred and brooding… Ugh. I want him to punch me into next week.”
Lityerses froze. You heard his towel drop to the floor. Slowly—so slowly—he turned to face you.
“I’m sorry. Did you just say you want to be punched by some grizzled old mercenary?”
“He’s not old, he’s seasoned.”
“I’m seasoned!” He looked personally attacked. “I used to be an assassin!”
“Exactly! You’re reformed. He’s still in his menace era. I love a feral man.”
Lityerses stood there like someone just told him wheat was fake. “Feral? I can be feral.”
You snorted. “No you can’t. You’re literally wearing fuzzy socks.”
He blinked. Looked down. Cursed under his breath.
Five minutes later, you heard rustling in the bedroom. Then silence. Then—
He stormed out, shirtless, dirt smeared across one cheek, swinging a real sword over his shoulder and growling in a faux-deep voice: “Hhhhn. Hrrr. Toss a coin to your cornfield, babe.”
You choked on your water.
He pointed his sword at you. “Say Geralt’s name again. I dare you.”
Later, when he pouted on the couch while you scratched behind his ear like a golden retriever, you leaned in and whispered, “You’re hotter than Geralt anyway.”
“…Really?”
“Yeah. Geralt doesn’t make me pancakes. Or blush when I kiss his scars.”
His entire face turned crimson. “...Still gonna learn how to growl better.”
Travis Stoll:
You were deep into a Harry Potter marathon when you sighed dramatically.
“Sirius Black could call me ‘darling’ once and I’d perish.”
Travis, eating cereal, dropped his spoon.
“The dog guy?”
You nodded. “He’s hot, and he's not a dog”
“He was in prison.”
You smiled. “So misunderstood.”
Travis got up. “Alright. You want a misunderstood bad boy? Fine.”
An hour later, he came back with fake tattoos, his shirt ripped, and an eyeliner-smudged scowl.
“Oi. Fancy a ride on my motorbike, love?”
You couldn’t stop laughing.
He held character for five minutes before tripping on a shoelace and going, “This is stupid. I’M hotter.”
Leo Valdez:
You were watching Iron Man for the billionth time, audibly swooning every time Tony Stark said literally anything.
Leo had finally had enough when you let out a little gasp and mumbled, “He’s so hot when he’s building stuff.”
His head snapped around like an owl. “When he’s building stuff? WHEN HE’S BUILDING STUFF??”
He stood up, covered in engine grease from Bunker 9. “Have you SEEN what I build? I built a DRAGON.”
You blinked. “Yeah but Tony’s a billionaire.”
Leo gasped like you stabbed him. “Oh, so money is the thing now? Is that it? Should I start charging camp for my inventions?”
He then disappears into Bunker 9 for five hours and emerges with literal IRON MAN GLOVES.
“Say it again,” he dares you. “Say Tony’s hotter. I DARE YOU.”
You couldn't stop laughing “Okay but you look like Iron Man’s kid sidekick.” Leo cries in mechanical flamethrower noises
Frank Zhang:
You were scrolling through My Hero Academia edits and let out a dreamy sigh.
“Todoroki, marry me already.”
Frank didn’t say anything at first. He just slowly turned his head, blinking like a betrayed puppy.
“…The hell?”
You grinned. “Look at him. He’s so serious. So cold. So”
“His dad’s a literal villain, A MENACE.”
You shrugged. “Daddy issues make men hotter, AND HIS SIBLINGS???? Gods yes.”
Frank’s soul left his body. “I am kind! I am emotionally available. I make you soup!”
He looked so genuinely distressed that you had to pull him into a hug.
Later, you found him in bear form… trying to do the Todoroki half-hot/half-cold stare.
Jason Grace:
It all started when you were watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and Zuko showed up shirtless.
You gasped. “Oh my gods.”
Jason looked over. “What?”
You didn’t answer, just bit your lip.
He narrowed his eyes. “Who is that?”
You told him. Big mistake.
“The guy with the burn scar? The one who had the stupid ass haircut? The one who tried to kill everyone for two seasons? That’s the guy?”
He was spiraling. “I’m literally a Roman demigod. I command lightning. But sure, let’s simp for the emotionally constipated firebender who has a redemption arc and a shiny fucking head.”
Jason walked off, muttering something about getting a scar. He showed up later trying to pose in the mirror with a sharpie drawn down his eye.
“Is this what you want?”
Octavian:
You were sitting on your bunk in the Roman barracks, scrolling through a fan edit of Jason Todd—you know, the Red Hood, walking trauma with a sharp jawline, leather jacket, and more daddy issues than a therapy convention.
You weren’t even trying to hide it. You let out a low whistle and muttered, “Gods… Jason Todd is so hot it should be illegal.”
Across the room, Octavian—who had been calmly organizing scrolls in alphabetical order by star alignment—froze.
Silence.
Not the normal kind.
The "Octavian-is-about-to-kill-a-man-with-a-sacrificial-dagger" kind.
His head snapped toward you with the slow, calculated grace of someone about to deliver a monologue that ends in someone getting hexed.
“Jason who?”
You looked up. “Jason Todd. He’s from DC. Died. Came back. Shoots people. Hot.”
Octavian blinked. Once. Twice. Then very slowly set his scroll down like it physically hurt him to do so.
“Oh. So now we’re into vigilantes. Tragic pasts. Leather. Guns. Crime. That’s what does it for you?”
You shrugged with a dreamy smile. “He’s just… perfectly unhinged.”
Octavian’s mouth dropped open. “I ran a legion. I deliver prophecies with blood and glory. I stabbed monsters in the name of Rome. But this man—this sweaty little Gotham gremlin—he’s the one you thirst over?!”
You giggled. “He’s hot and he broods. Like a spicy Batman.”
He scoffed so hard you thought he’d choke. “I BROOD! I am brooding right now! Look at me!”
You looked. He was pacing, hands flailing in outrage, face turning that beautiful Octavian-red he got when things weren’t going his way.
“And the name?? Jason? As in Jason Grace? Are you trying to kill me?!”
He stopped. Stared you dead in the eyes.
“…Is this your revenge for me burning your favorite hoodie? Because it’s working.”
You were trying so hard not to laugh.
Later, he sat next to you, arms crossed, still muttering. “He’s not even a real praetor.”
You leaned against him. “But you are.”
“…Damn right I am.”
Pause.
“…Do you think I’d look good in a leather jacket?”

In the last Olympian Percy’s says there were 40 demigods that went fighting into battle of manhattan and later on the ares cabin joined so they weren’t even counted in that 40.
And in the end of the book Percy’s says there were only about “20 odd” demigods that survived and made it back to camp.
Roughly half of the whole entire camp perished in battle of manhattan.
And I’ve done the math and figured out who all the veteran characters are. Most of these are all characters mentioned both before and after the battle of manhattan and some of them were introduced in HoO but said to have been at camp since the titan war. These are the only known true survivors of BoM and it adds up to about 20. This is all of them. None of them are unknown. Do with this what you will
All of the battle of manhattan veterans in order of their cabin numbers :
Percy Jackson
Katie Gardiner
Miranda Gardener
Clarrise La Rue
Sherman Yang
Ellis Wakefield
Annabeth Chase
Malcolm Pace
Will Solace
Austin Lake
Kayla Knowles
Jake Mason
Nyssa Barrera
Harley
Drew Tanaka
Lacy
Mitchel
Chris Rodriguez
Travis Stoll
Connor Stoll
Pollux
Nico di Angelo
Butch Walker
Holly Victor
Laurel Victor
Can you imagine them all going back to camp together in only of those Delphi strawberry busses when they came in four busses. All of them together in a tiny bus grieving their lost siblings together.
Percy Annabeth And Nico went on a wild goose chase after Rachel who had just highjacked Black Jack and that’s how they got back to camp they weren’t on the bus.
Malcolm was all alone and might have believed Annabeth died out there in the streets somewhere or in the Empire State Building. (He’s elated to find her alive at camp later. But god that was a scary couple of hours on the bus thinking he’s all alone now)
Malcolm sits with Butch and Pollux because they’re the only other campers on the bus without siblings. Butch just because he happens to be the only known iris kid at camp and Pollux because he lost Castor in battle of the labyrinth.
All the others sit with their siblings. Or what’s left of them. Entire large cabins that used to have 10-20 kids on average now reduced down to 1-3 kids. Some died. Some joined Luke and probably died soon after.
Edit : And since I’ve seen some Titan army hate in these comments for no reason here’s something else I should have said.
If they joined Luke but somehow survived they were probably wrongfully murdered by the gods for rebelling or brutally punished somehow like Alabaster Torrington. So many titan army kids perished too. Don’t forget them. They fought for a noble cause. They didn’t die for nothing. They were just kids with dreams of making things less shitty for everyone. They suffered just as much if not more than the camp halfblood kids all at the hands of the gods and the titans and even other demigods that were higher up on the Olympus hierarchy. Nico, Ethan, any kid who’s not a child of the big 12 were not treated as equals at camp back then just because of their parentage or lack of powers or unique or scary powers. A lot of titan army kids were from minor gods who suffered because of the big 12 and their children. Camp halfblood wasn’t so nice to them in fact pretty cruel and rude and mean just because of that stupid hierarchy. Of course they felt hurt and fell into Kronos’s trap of trying to make things better. Of course Luke being their counselor at camp cause Hermes takes in all the minor god kids saw all them suffering and tried his best to help. Of course Luke fell into Krnos’s trap as well. and I refuse to tolerate any hate or misunderstanding of them.

leo, horrified: holy shit. another one!?

percy, putting his hands up in surrender: woah, hey— i was just following orders.
travis, laughing: and how’s that?
percy: annabeth tells me she wants a baby, i give her a baby.
frank, trying not to laugh: like… immediately?
grover, shaking his head: do you even want another?
percy: jesus, guys. why the hell would i say yes if i didn’t? it’s our fourth, not our fifteenth! and yeah, we've been talking about it for a while. we love babies, we love parenting, we’re financially stable, the kids are excited… we’re happy. sorry our marriage is healthy and functional?

leo: so… you can’t just come on the trip until she gives birth to it?

How would PJO and HOO boys react if you told them you're pregnant?
Tumblr media
Percy Jackson :
“You’re… you’re serious? Like, for real?”
The sea-green eyes widen like crashing waves. For a second, Percy forgets how to breathe. Then—he blinks, laughs, and suddenly he’s pulling you into his arms, almost spinning you off the ground.
“I’m gonna be a dad? Holy crap—I’m gonna be a dad!”
There’s a flash of panic under the joy, a storm behind the smile, but he leans into it, presses his forehead against yours, and whispers, “I’m scared. But I want this—with you.”
Grover Underwood :
Cue the tears. So many happy tears.
He gasps, little goat ears twitching in surprise. “You’re—pregnant?!” Then the realization hits—and he just bursts into joyful sobbing.
“This is the most beautiful moment I’ve ever experienced—and I once watched a patch of wildflowers bloom in under two seconds!”
Grover drops to his knees, places his hands gently on your stomach, eyes misty. “Hey, little one. I’m your satyr dad-friend. I promise to keep you safe, teach you about trees, and love your amazing mom with all my heart.”
Connor Stoll :
“You’re pranking me, aren’t you? …Wait. You’re not.”
Connor’s face scrunches up in classic suspicion the second you say, “I’m pregnant.”
He squints. “Is this payback for the glitter bomb incident? Because if it is, I respect it, but also—WAIT, are you serious?”
When he realizes you’re not joking, his mouth falls open. For once in his life, Connor Stoll is speechless.
Then? The smile comes. Wide. Wild. Ridiculous. And somehow soft around the edges.
“I’m gonna be a dad? Like, a real one? That’s… insane. And awesome. And a little terrifying.”
He presses his forehead to yours and laughs under his breath. “Looks like someone’s finally gonna out-prank me. Better start hiding the whoopee cushions now.”
Travis Stoll :
“Well, there goes our sleep schedule forever—AND I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER.”
Travis drops whatever’s in his hands (probably something illegal or half-exploded) and runs over like you just said you won the lottery.
“WE’RE HAVING A KID?!”
He shouts it across the camp like an excited camp counselor. People start clapping. Some are crying. Connor’s already planning baby’s first prank.
Travis hugs you tightly, then drops to his knees to talk to your stomach: “Hi, tiny human. I’m your dad. I’m a bit of a disaster, but I make great pancakes. Also, you already won the lottery because your mom’s the best.”
Then he looks up, softer than you’ve ever seen him: “I promise I’ll be the kind of dad who always makes you laugh—even when life gets scary. Just like my mom tried to do for me.”
Luke Castellan :
His eyes widen, and something shifts in them—like light breaking through years of shadow.
“You’re… we’re having a baby?” His voice is stunned. “After everything I’ve done… you still chose me?”
He walks over, takes your hand carefully, reverently, like it’s made of starlight.
“I’ll protect you both. I swear it. No gods, no monsters—nothing touches this family.”
Then, quieter: “Maybe this is my second chance.”
Will Solace :
Will’s golden eyebrows lift, and he goes completely still.
“You’re pregnant?”
You nod, and for a second, his healer instincts kick in—checking your pulse, asking if you’ve had nausea, if you’re eating well—before he stops, blinks, and fully processes it.
“Oh my gods,” he breathes, a slow, amazed smile blooming across his face. “We’re having a baby.”
Then, he just hugs you—gently, warmly, protectively. His voice is full of awe. “That little soul is going to grow up surrounded by so much light.”
Nico Di Angelo (req):
He freezes—completely.
At first, Nico just stares at you, face unreadable. Silence hangs like a shadow. You start to worry—did you break him?
Then he looks down at his hands. “I never thought... I’d get to have something like this.” His voice is quiet, raw.
“Something good. Something alive.”
He steps forward slowly, touches your hand like you might disappear. “I don’t know how to be a father,” he murmurs. “But I want to try. With you.”
And then, for the first time in what feels like forever, he smiles.
Jason Grace :
The stoic Roman exterior cracks—and the softest boy peeks out.
He’s sitting, reviewing paperwork for Camp Jupiter, when you tell him. His pen stops mid-sentence.
“You’re…pregnant?”
You nod.
He stands slowly, walks toward you, and falls to his knees. One hand touches your stomach. The other touches his own heart.
“I never thought I’d get to have something normal—something beautiful.” He looks up at you with a fierce, reverent love.
“I’ll be the kind of father who earns this blessing. Every day.”
Frank Zhang :
Total deer-in-headlights moment—but pure tenderness follows.
Frank chokes on his tea. “What? PREGNANT?!”
He turns beet red, literally drops his cup, and then just stares at you in stunned silence. Then:
“I mean—I’m happy! I’m SO happy! I just—wow—I didn’t expect… me? A dad?”
His arms wrap around you in this big, warm, slightly awkward bear hug, holding you like you’re the most precious thing in the world.
“I’ll protect you. And the baby. Always. Even if I have to turn into a lion every single day.”
Leo Valdez :
Cue the nervous rambling—and the biggest grin you’ve ever seen.
“Okay, okay, okay—so like, tiny human, half you, half me, maybe with fire powers? That’s wild. That’s—wait, you’re serious, right? This isn’t some kind of weird demigod prank?”
When you nod, he freezes… and then suddenly yells, “YES!” into the air like he just beat an evil dragon with a wrench. He starts pacing, ideas already swirling.
“Okay, I’m building the baby the safest, coolest crib ever. Like—floating. And fireproof. And maybe plays calming lullabies? Wait, is that a thing?”
You laugh, and Leo just stares at you with awe. “You're growing our future, tesoro… That's magic.”
Octavian : (EUGHHH)
“Are you telling me… we created a legacy?”
When you tell him, Octavian freezes mid-sentence—he was probably ranting about political reform or inspecting an offering to Jupiter. His eyes widen, blue and calculating, scanning your expression to confirm you’re serious.
Then?
The world falls silent.
His voice lowers, thoughtful and trembling at the edges. “A child. Our child. Born of power. Born of prophecy.”
He moves toward you with a strange reverence, like you’ve suddenly become holy. His hand hesitantly grazes your stomach, eyes unreadable.
“I was never meant to build an empire alone,” he says quietly. “This child… they’ll carry my name. My strength. But with your heart.”
For a moment, the mask of control drops—and you see something raw and rare: fear. Hope. Humanity.
“I swear,” he whispers, “they won’t be alone like I was.”
Then the cold confidence slides back into place as he smirks faintly. “Also—if anyone tries to put my kid in a Praetor election, I’m burning the Senate down.”

₊ ♡ ˚⊹ I'll be there on their side ₊ ♡ ˚⊹
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
୨୧ multi demigod x goddess reader ୨୧ the goddess of heroes and the protector of demigods was thought to be a mere myth and that was how she preferred it to be, until the time came when she could no longer stay away. a/n: (1.8k words) my first fic posted !! the title is from 'i bet on losing dogs' by mitski. the ending isn't exactly how i wanted but that's okay :)
Mortal children are told myths just the same as demigods. Usually mortal parents will tell them said stories to help themselves parent them like Jack Frost, to remember to put your jacket on or Santa Claus who won't show unless you behave well.
Parents of demigods however tell them for the child's benefit. Many legends aren't told but are taught at camp, once again to protect the demigods. Very few stories are able to be told without alerting any unwanted attention.
The entirety of the fall of Kronos from Zeus' beginning to his victory and the story of his earliest children. All revolving around Zeus in his prime, probably to keep himself ego inflated and unfaded.
Nevertheless this is another story that circulates the young ears of all demigods. The legend of the protector of demigods. Much is lost to time of the story but not even time himself can rip the hope that the lost goddess can give to the young heroes.
Very few things shocked the Olympians anymore, not in this century anyway. Of course Kronos and Gaea rising was one thing and Percy Jackson himself was another but the whispers from their children that after two titan wars sightings of their lost protector was becoming more frequent seemed to truly shock them.
After a few millennia of no contact from the goddess more than a few gods had assumed she simply faded quietly but now it seemed that wasn't the case at all.
It started as a mistaken identity.
With the son of Poseidon, Percy Jackson had thought she was nothing more than a helpful nymph.
Although the poison from the pit scorpion that Luke Castellan gave him was more than enough of a reason for Percy to not fully take in the figure in front of him.
He could faintly make out the outline of her dress but even that went blurry as quickly as he could blink. After struggling to get to the river in the middle of the deserted forest, he called for help, anyone's help.
So she answered.
In a daze of pain he recalls the feeling of being carried much like his mother used to do when he’d trip and hurt himself. He would have felt embarrassed but with a fading pulse he just mumbled best he could thanks to the tender nymph before his vision was lost to darkness.
After he’d recovered, Chiron told him if he'd been found any later he'd have been dead.
Thirty seconds, he thought.
After he had told everyone, everyone meaning Annabeth about Luke, he went back out to said woods to find the nymph who had helped him.
All he found was a few river spirits nearby who told him that no nymph went that close to the border that day. He’d made the river spirits promise to let him know if the mysterious nymph came back, she never did.
But nonetheless Percy remembered, and held thanks to the helpful nymph.
Mistaken identity shifted to a hallucination.
The son of Hermes, Travis Stoll had sworn himself to secrecy under the impression he'd have imagined the whole encounter.
An embarrassing thought he often let himself drift back to on more than one occasion. It had started when he and Connor had been setting up traps in the woods for the next capture the flag game.
They'd been out there all afternoon, they decided to turn back for curfew, best to not tempt the harpies when he'd tripped on a lodged rock in the ground and managed to roll down and crash into a further down tree.
A thick root from the tree he'd fallen against impaled his side making his shirt and the dirt around him to turn a dark red colour. The sight of the root appearing out his side Connor ran towards camp faster than he'd ever seen him run during their pranks yelling for healers and for Chiron.
When he'd think back on it he wasn't sure if it was the quiet of the forest or the numbness of his body but dark spots began to invade his vision and he couldn't help but embrace them without caution.
Until the most beautiful woman came out from behind a nearby tree, rushing towards him in a fuzzy blur. Her elegant hair falling past her face almost making a blanket of warmth and safety around the two of them.
She was the most stunning thing he'd ever seen. Better than the full moon, the sunrise and sunset. Better than the ocean or a flower. He could hear her softly speaking to him but he couldn't make out the words.
He didn't know how long he'd been staring in awe at the woman. Travis was sure he'd be red with embarrassment if all his 'red' wasn't currently bleeding out of him.
He looked over towards where he heard his brother's frantic voice getting closer to him. The sight of him and a few cabin 7 campers not far behind him did well to ease his own worry. He looked back for the woman but she was gone.
He doubted if he'd seen the woman but shook it off as nothing more than pain induced illusion.
Then from a hallucination to a mortal.
The son of Hades, Nico di Angelo should've known better than to assume that anyone who approached him was 100% mortal.
After spending more time in the demigod world he realized that mortals don't ever come over to talk to demigods, or maybe that was just his problem.
Nevertheless even mortals can see some kind of underworld aura around him even if they don't understand what they're seeing.
Which makes it all the more irritating that his younger self didn't realize the woman who helped him was probably not entirely mortal. He could still remember it so clearly, she was after all one of the few at that time that had been kind to him.
He had spent the night searching for an entrance to the underworld, his father had told him in a dream a few nights prior that it was in the area. He also mentioned that it was supposed to be easier to find for children of his.
Well that turned out to be crap.
Nico had spent all day and now late into the night walking around New york city trying to find a specific street corner. He was tired and hungry but most of all angry.
He called off his search once his eyes started to sting. Finding a bus stop bench to rest at. He pulled his knees to rest his head against. Tears stung his eyes more than his fatigue when a smell of food wafted near him.
Lifting his head he saw a woman, dressed in a cozy cardigan, the beige kind a mother would wear. She was carrying a bag, he could faintly make out the logo of the logo of a restaurant he remembered passing on the contains inside.
She never spoke but her eyes almost made him cry, a look of care and worry. one he'd imagined his own mother having from the stories Bianca would tell him.
She leaned over and rested the beg softly on the bench next to him, he could feel the heat from it warming her leg. He asked her who she was and why she'd given him her food but all she did was smile and ruffle his hair like Bianca used to do.
He could feel his tears roll down his neck as he watched her keep walking down the street until she eventually walked out of vision. He was just glad someone was kind to him.
Even if it was just a friendly mortal.
Then from a mortal to a mother.
The son of Hermes, Chris Rodriguez couldn't believe he could see his mother in the middle of the haunted Labyrinth.
It had been Luke who ordered him to go into the traumatizing maze and he'd done it willingly, so eager to help his older brother for the cause of getting revenge, justice, to be noticed.
But as most things in Chris's life it had gone horribly wrong. He couldn't even remember most of the horror he'd seen in there, the human brain forcing him to forget just so that he can move on from it all.
But one of the few things that stuck with him was the memory of his mother. Now, he knew it was completely impossible his mother, who'd died just helping him to get to camp, was in the labyrinth with him but his vivid recollection of those moments left little doubt.
He remembers leaning against one of the ever shifting walls, ready to give up on getting out for good.
When he felt a warm hand on his shoulder, he recalls not even flinching from it because of the calming ease it put him in, he could feel himself slurring his word and frantically almost magically speaking but it wouldn't reach his ears.
He had a light aura around her, and a gentle smile as she carefully lead the way through the twists and turns of the darken maze.
He relives the memory as best he can, he could still hear the faint whispers from her mouth, promising she wouldn't let him go and that it would be alright soon.
In hindsight that was something his mother would never do, his mother cared for him not was anything but emotional.
Part of him likes to think that Thanatos had lost her soul for a moment and she'd come to help when he most needed her.
He was just glad that someone had helped him because he hated the thought of what had happened to him if they hadn't.
Finally from a mother to a mourner.
The son of Jupiter, Jason Grace was the lost goddess' last straw.
Too many had already lost their lives in wars fought in seemingly vain. No matter how she felt for them nor how she longed to help them, rules were rules as the King of Olympus loved to remind everyone.
But when the fate meddled day approached and her sweet kind hero had perished, some rules were to be broken in order to do some good.
The day Jason Grace died was a day every demigod remembers, they felt the sadness draped over both camps and everyone in them.
Even demigods who had never even met the fallen hero were mourning him with such intensity.
The lost goddess knew it was because of her her grief was spilling into their own lives, her sadness swallowing them up with it.
Part of her wanted to stop, knowing it was affecting the little heroes but another darker part wanted it to spur them into action, she wanted it to make them want change.
But look how that had turned out the first time. As much as she wanted to change she settled for a medium, she’d change and she'd do what she was meant to.
Help the young heroes live and thrive, no matter the cost to any other immortal in her way...

I hate, especially in the pjo fandom, when people cut characters down to 1 trait. Sometimes it's a trait that isn't even one they have!
Like Percy, Will and Leo being seen as dumb erks me to no end. Especially Leo.
I know they're incorrect quotes but I saw one where they used the "7x7" "stuff she knows!" audio with leo and I'm just-
He knew collage level math at 8!!! What you mean he wouldn't know 7x7.
He could probably recite 100+ digits of pi. He built a whole ship!!
Same with Percy and Will. Like Percy is not dumb, he's just someone who thinks on his feet and isn't book smart like Annabeth.
Will runs an infirmary and cabin by himself by 13. He immediately finds a way to check on Nico's condition and chides him for risking his health. He's working with no weapon as a field medic, he has to be smart enough to avoid attacks.
Nico isn't just the emo sad kid. He is quick to make friends with those people tend to be wary of. He's just getting use to people again after being on his own for so long.
Jason isn't just some boring/ lesser version of Percy. He has a detailed past and motives even without most of his memories.
Michael isn't just attitude and starting fights. The only fellow camper he actually fights with is Clarisse and he's pretty chill for the rest of the book other then just being sassy sometimes. He's usually just matching energy.
Stolls aren't all stupid either, they were 12-13 when they became hcs of the largest cabin at a camp. A cabin, mind you, that was recently ran by a 19-almost 20 year old. They're poster children for younger siblings suddenly forced to mature.
Maybe it's just me and my love for psychoanalyizing characters, but really like most people forget how 3 dimensional these characters are.
Do not get me started on characters like Drew and Octavian or how many of y'all forget Annabeth(and every demigod other than frank) also is dyslexic and not just the ones the fandom deems as "dumb".
