Boktai Nyan-teenth anniversary art from last year!🌞😎😻

I did not post last year's anniversary art here because I did not think about ever coming back to Tumblr. Although I have made my return, I decided to wait till Boktai's 20th anniversary to share all these cute kittens.

I am making a piece for Boktai's huge milestone, but I will only finish it very, very late. I had conjured such a nice concept and had 2 ½ months to complete it. Yet, I've spent most of that time doing other tasks, resting, and fighting a monotonously long battle with stress.

Another one it won’t let me tag D: Sorry! Anyway! MAD SCIENCE! What’s more mad science than an evil grin, dramatic pose and a bunch of weird vials, tubes and secret machinary? OwO I had a lot of fun figuring out this pose, not entirely sure I got the perspectives right (I am terrible at perspective sometimes) but it works I guess!

"Oi. Are you a beast master of some sort?" Zoktai asked a scowl on his face.

Subetei looked to the one asking the question with a rather bemused expression, given the nature of the question; He was currently standing next to a rather large red chocobo, the bird itself hitched to a cart next to a stall, a wide variety of pelts and hides as well as urns of meat firmly secured in the back with ropes. Wordlessly he flicked a latch on the harness and the strap came undone with a snap, the red chocobo moving away from the now immobile cart as Subetei whistled lightly, motioning to Zoktai. The nine fulms tall bird stepped over with an almost disgruntled expression on it's face, it's brown eyes on the other xaela.

"Valdhur, nest." came the thick, Limsan-accented command and the bird immediately settled down onto it's legs in a manner of a roosting bird, swiftly turning nine fulms into six as it continued to stare at Zoktai, before Subetei stepped forward and patted the bird on the head affectionately. While the bird looked no less unhappy, a perpetual resting face of disdain and sulk in it's face, it did wark in a low tone and ruffle it's feathers in a wave from head to tailfeathers.

With his bird settled, Subetei nodded now as he stepped to his cart; With his recovery from injuries necessary, he had fallen back on selling some of his stores of goods to keep his spending money up. "Ah managed ter convince t'is grumpy ol' t'in ter obey m' ahn ah suppose ah've got ah t'in fer tamin' animals ahn te like. Nah ah master t'ough..." he explained, loosening some of the ropes as he rather casually lifted a heavy wood-shafted axe from the cart, the wickedly curved single blade slipping into a harness on the back of the traveling coat Subetei wore. "T'ats ah bit t'grand fer m' likin'."

(Side D). Whoops, forgot. The Boktai bonus, besides Sol Cross, is that the 100 Warrior mini-Game at Gargoyle Caste becomes a 1000-Bat mini game which can grant you crossover points to use at the Zoktai Trader to get the secret chips, GunDelSolEX and Otenko(need to spend 50 Crossover Points to have a 2/16 chance of getting one of the two, the others are Pulser3, GunDelSol3, BlackWing, ShadeManSP, DjangoSP, & DjangoDS, all at the same chance of 2/16.

I see, that is indeed quite a few things, haha.  But yeah, I might see if I can get an emulator to do that to show it off, but I don’t know that it would be worth paying for just a normal recordable DS for the GBA slot considering I have a lot of 3DS stuff I want to do, just needing the GBA slot for that one project, I don’t know that I could really justify the cost.  Thank you for the info though.
