Hello! Well, I don't speak English, so maybe this question is strange, forgive me for that. but as for your fanfic: Field the Expanse (an intangible thing). Do you intend to continue? I honestly loved this story, but I'm sad that there aren't more chapters :(

This answer is embarrassingly delayed but yes, I will continue the story! I have drafts for both of the remaining chapters, it’s just that life got too crazy and so I’ve had to prioritize other things :/ But I’m too stubborn to not finish it lol. It’s just taking a while—sorry for the wait :(

Have you ever wanted to draw something but you fought due to your skill level at the time you decide not to do it

Yeah this used to stop me from doing a lot of stuff. Especially backgrounds with lots of details, machinery, reflective materials, textured stuff, etc... leaving that comfort zone helped me grow as an artist more than anything else. Not just in doing things I couldn’t do before—the process of trying, failing, and trying again also caused me to get better at things I was already comfortable doing.

It might sound corny but I wholeheartedly believe the best gift we can give ourselves is room to fail. Failure is the best teacher.

AU where they get biker leathers because I can. Hyperfocus and butts happened and I needed practice rendering cityscapes. The composition and motifs all were meant to represent freedom and self-determination and stuff but then I started having too much fun with the details of the bike and Pebbles’ uhhh metropolis.

I imagine the ancients having public rituals and festivals where citizens would visit their iterator, make offerings, etc. so this is meant to be a courtyard outside Pebbles’ chamber by which his citizens were occasionally able to visit him.

Heyyy I'm the person who left a whole novel review about your Field the Expanse fanfic in the comments :) I was wondering if you have any of your own designs for the iterators that you thought about while writing that fic?

Mostly that Suns has nice legs. Also, I assume Iterator puppets are soft/rubbery on the surface (how Moon looks in the base game art) to keep gunk out of their seams.

When I write I’m intentionally vague about certain kinds of visual details since I don’t want to limit readers’ imaginations. But for anyone curious about what I personally envision, it’s nested below.

I picture Suns’ legs as very glam, femme and sensual. I honestly spend an embarrassing amount of time thinking about Suns’ legs. Sometimes with red backseams… because a bitch is thirsty

I like to give Iterators feet because they’re a very expressive body part (same as hands) so it compensates a little bit for them having no mouths or brows. Also I like to give Suns louboutins. Enby slay ❤️

That’s pretty much how I envision them when I write! Usually still attached to their arms, though.
