I love doing fashion illustration (dunno if I mentioned that on here before) and I did this piece inspired on one that my mom designed and modeled!

#its amazing#procreate hoes would never#ink drawing#din djarin#the mandalorian#mando
Thanks for the compliment, but I am a procreate hoe XD Figured I would share this cause I don't post as much WIP stuff in general.
This was the original sketch I did for May the 4th. I wanted to paint Din Djarin for AGES, but I didn't give the original sketch the time it deserved. It was really quick, but I was struggling quite a lot with the angles of the armor since I didn't really have any good references at the time.
I knew I wanted to ink wash the final piece, so I went and redrew it in procreate into a really tight final sketch that could serve as the line art. Depending on time, I either print these directly onto the watercolor paper or print onto regular paper and trace it with my light table. This allows me to have a clean piece of paper to start the watercolor process, as opposed to if I had sketched it directly on there.
I used the digital sketch to also try some "ink" washes, to see how I wanted the composition to go. (At this point, I thought I wanted it to be a landscape picture) This is just a faster way to test these out that doesn't feel as precious as wasting the pricey watercolor paper. It also takes out a lot of the guess work and indecision when I start inking/painting.
ps: I didn't mean to call you out like that XD I actually love the name "Procreate Hoe" and will wear it with pride
I miss doing Star Wars fanart! This is a mix of ink and watercolor washes, with the highlights done with a posca fine liner and deleter ink.
