Waseem and his family are back in North Gaza. Life is very difficult up there and it is difficult to even find water. Please consider donating to his family’s survival fund.

I wanted to give another shout out to @smx111 for their fantastic work on Waseem’s portrait! They’re trying to get more Instagram followers, so please follow them on Instagram @thekofiartist.io
Waseem’s GoFundMe is at $2240 USD, which we are so grateful for! Unfortunately, this money is going towards food instead of a tent due to the expensive prices charged by war merchants. Please consider donating even $5 USD towards his fund.

Thanks so much to @smx111 for their amazing ballpoint pen drawing of Waseem!
Waseem and his family are still in Al-Qarara. His little brother received his polio vaccine several days ago. Otherwise, their life is still waiting in lines for water, the bathroom, food... Again, we are trying to get Waseem's GoFundMe campaign up to $2000 USD for a tent and any other supplies necessary in the case of a fifth displacement. We recently have had a surge of donations (thank you thank you!), which has put his campaign up to $310 USD. Please reblog or donate if possible.

Waseem (@aboyman36 on Instagram) shows us what a day in Al-Qarara, Gaza looks like. He and his family are waiting on the IOF to open the crossings for aid and supplies. He recently asked me about help buying a bag of flour for roughly $30 USD.
Let’s see if we can get Waseem and his family enough for a bag of flour this week.

Waseem gave me permission to post this video. In this video by Waseem (Instagram handle @aboyman36 ), he expresses his frustration at how the rest of the world lives in comparison to his current life in Gaza. Specifically, he shows how time intensive it is to get water for the day between waiting in line and carrying the heavy container to his tent.
As of now, there are no updates on Waseem’s situation. His family, including his father, mother, sister, and two younger brothers, are all living together in Al-Qarara after being displaced four times from their home in North Gaza. The goal is to raise at least $2000-2500 USD for an emergency tent and supplies if/when they are displaced again. War merchants have raised the prices of the limited products allowed into Gaza to outrageous prices, which is why it is necessary to raise $2000-2500 USD for something that should be much less expensive.
As always, if you can donate or reblog, it is greatly appreciated. Free Palestine!

Please consider donating $5 USD. It will make such a huge difference for Waseem.

I’m sharing this video with Waseem’s permission. It was filmed on August 16, 2024 in Al-Qarara when the IDF began to attack their neighborhood.
Waseem and his family are already living in an evacuation zone as they do not have the money to move to a safer location. We are trying to raise $2500 USD for Waseem’s family to have some emergency money if the IDF begins to attack their neighborhood again.

Waseem and his family are doing ok today. The rest of his family is in North Gaza, which has had a resurgence of violence in the past few days.
At this point, Waseem and his family have $640 USD on their GoFundMe. We are grateful for the slow and steady donations. His family needs roughly $200 USD per week for their daily needs and roughly $2000 USD for a tent and commission fees. Please consider donating or reblogging.

Waseem (@aboyman36 on Instagram) is trying to raise money for a new tent as winter approaches. Waseem sent me this video to show me the rips in his family’s tent. Additionally, their sandbags are broken, which allows their tent to flood.
Roughly $2000 USD will help Waseem to get a new tent, blankets, and coats for the winter. He currently has raised $400 USD. Please consider donating or reblogging.

Waseem has received $625 USD. His family needs roughly $2000 USD for a tent before the winter comes. Please consider donating $10.07 in solidarity of Waseem and his family, who have endured 365 days of genocide in Gaza (plus 76 years).

Waseem is currently at $615 USD. We hope that he will have enough money to get a tent soon!
Additionally, Waseem estimates that his family needs $200 USD a week to pay for their needs. Currently, he has $0 out of $200 USD needed for his family’s weekly needs. Please consider donating to ensure he and his family have enough supplies for the week. If you can’t donate, it would be greatly appreciated if you could reblog.

Waseem gave me permission to post this video. Today it rained in Gaza and not only did Waseem’s family’s tent flood, their tarp acting as a roof ripped, which poured water into their tent. Please consider donating so that Waseem and his family can get a new tent ASAP. He currently has $420 USD and needs roughly $1500 USD more to get a new tent, sandbags, blankets, and pay commission fees.
Reblog if you can’t donate. This is no way for people to live.

Merhaba, bu Waseem'in @smx111 tarafından çizilmiş bir resmi. Ben Waseem'in arkadaşı B.F., onun izniyle yayınlıyorum. Lütfen GoFundMe kampanyasına bağış yapmayı düşünün. Hayatı hakkında daha fazla bilgi edinmek isterseniz @aboyman36 adlı Instagram hesabına bakabilirsiniz.
İşte Waseem'in size söylemek istedikleri:
“Ben Gazze Şeridi'nin kuzeyinden Waseem. Eskiden IT mühendisi olarak çalışıyordum.
Lütfen Waseem'in GoFundMe kampanyasına bağış yapmayı düşünün.

It’s so sad that in order to get people to care about Palestine, we completely ignore the thousands of innocent men who have been killed in this genocide. We have to say “children”, or “women and children”, with slightly lower numbers, because the full death count is somehow seen as less tragic when we include men.
My heart aches for the innocent men of Palestine who have been slaughtered. You mattered just as much as anyone else. And for the men who are doing everything in their power to help their fellow Palestinians, we love and respect you. Thank you for all that you do.
