ATE: Stray Kids mini album Review
STAYS! IM BACK! Might I say this has been a wild weekend! Yes, I’m talking about ATE! And dare I say this is the best album? I do… I do dare. Now if you haven’t listened to my podcast or if you just prefer reading… here’s my review on ATE!
Concept (10/10): Stray Kids have always been known for their edgy, experimental concepts, but ATE takes it to a whole new level. The album is centered around the theme of technology and artificial intelligence taking over the world, with the members of Stray Kids fighting against the machines. It's like a sci-fi movie come to life through music. The concept is so well-executed and immersive, it's like you're right there in the battle zone with them.
Lyrics (10/10): The lyrics are some of the most powerful and meaningful Stray Kids has ever written. They tackle themes of individuality, freedom, and the human spirit in the face of overwhelming odds. The words are like punches to the gut, leaving you breathless and wanting more. The way they weave the concept through the lyrics without it feeling forced is pure genius.
Beat (10/10): The production quality is top-notch, with beats that are both catchy and hard-hitting. You'll find yourself headbanging along to the intense rap tracks, and then the melodic hooks will have you singing along. The instrumental choices perfectly complement the vocals and add to the overall vibe of each song. It's like a rollercoaster ride of emotions, but in the best way possible.
"Chk Chk Boom" MV Visuals (10/10): The music video for "Chk Chk Boom" is a visual feast that will leave you stunned. The futuristic visuals perfectly bring the concept to life, with mind-blowing special effects and choreography that will have you rewinding over and over again. The members' performances are full of energy and charisma, and the fashion is on point. It's like a mini-movie that you can't look away from. And can I just say that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were chefs kiss!
Overall (10/10): ATE is a masterpiece from start to finish, showcasing Stray Kids' growth and talent in every aspect. It's an album that will keep you on the edge of your seat, eager to hear what they'll do next. The concept, lyrics, beats, and visuals all come together to create a listening and viewing experience like no other. Stray Kids has truly outdone themselves this time, and Stays around the world are eating it up.
Conclusion: ATE is a game-changer of an album that cements Stray Kids' status as one of the most innovative and exciting groups in K-pop. It's a must-listen for any fan of the genre, and is sure to win them a whole new legion of fans. So strap in, Stays, and get ready for the wild ride that is ATE.

Supernatural- New Jeans Single Review
Warning: This is gonna give you a little glimpse of how old I am... please bear with me!

Hey Bunnies! Let’s dive into New Jeans' latest jam, "Supernatural." This track is like a time machine straight to the 90's – it’s all that and a bag of chips! Here’s the scoop on what makes it tick and what doesn’t quite hit the mark.
Concept: 10/10The 90's vibe is strong with this one! The fashion, the colors, the funky graphics – it’s giving major nostalgia. Remember those rad music videos from MTV’s golden era? This is like a love letter to that time. They’ve nailed the retro look, but some might say it leans a bit too hard into the cliché territory. It’s a fine line between homage and overkill, and “Supernatural” occasionally stumbles into the latter.
Lyrics: 9.2/10 The lyrics are catchy and fun, perfect for singing along. They’ve got that carefree, youthful energy that New Jeans does so well. However, some of the lines feel a bit repetitive, and there’s not a lot of depth. But hey, sometimes you just want something light and breezy, right?
Beat: 9.9 Oh man, the beat is killer. It’s got this infectious groove that makes you want to get up and dance. The production is crisp, with a perfect blend of modern and retro sounds. It’s one of those tracks that just sticks in your head – in a good way! If there’s a downside, it might be that it feels a tad formulaic. It’s got that 90’s dance-pop blueprint down to a tee, which is great but also makes it a bit predictable.
Visuals: 10/10 The music video is amazing! It’s packed with bright colors, cool animations, and killer dance moves. The girls look amazing, and their charisma shines through every frame. However, it can be a bit overwhelming at times. There’s so much going on that it’s easy to miss some of the finer details. But overall, it’s a fun watch that keeps you entertained from start to finish.
Overall Impression: 10/10 “Supernatural” is a blast from the past in the best way. It’s fun, energetic, and perfect for fans who love that nostalgic vibe. It’s not without its flaws – the concept can feel a bit overdone, and the lyrics aren’t the most profound. But those are minor quibbles in what’s otherwise a super fun package.
If you’re a fan of New Jeans and love the 90’s, this song is a must-listen. It’s got everything you could want: a catchy beat, fun visuals, and a whole lot of charm. It might not be perfect, but it’s a joyful ride that’s sure to put a smile on your face. So, grab your scrunchies and your walkman, and let’s vibe to “Supernatural”!
I'm going to always encourage you to listen to the song, watch the video and form an opinion of your own. As always if you want me to listen to anything and review it, let me know! But until next time,
Annyeong!

ABCD- Nayeon Single Review (Revised)

Alright Twice fans, specifically Nayeon biases I promised you a revised version of this review of this song after a clear mind. So, here's the scoop on what this track is all about, revised of course!
Concept:8/10 "ABCD" brings a fresh concept to the table with its playful exploration of love and self-discovery. Nayeon takes us on a journey through the alphabet, cleverly weaving each letter into lyrics that tell a story of falling for someone in a charmingly quirky way. The concept feels light-hearted yet meaningful, showcasing Nayeon’s knack for turning everyday themes into something special. However, some might find the concept a tad too whimsical, longing for a deeper emotional connection.
Lyrics: 8.9/10 Lyrically, "ABCD" is pure gold. It’s fun, it’s cheeky, and it’s packed with clever wordplay that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Nayeon effortlessly blends cute and clever, delivering lines that are both relatable and refreshingly original. Whether she’s singing about butterflies in her stomach or the excitement of new beginnings, every word feels like it’s straight from the heart. The only downside? A few lines could have delved deeper into the complexities of love beyond the initial stages.
Beat:9/10 Now, let’s talk beats! "ABCD" serves up a tasty mix of pop perfection. The rhythm is infectious, with a blend of synth-pop elements that make you want to hit the dance floor ASAP. Each beat is meticulously crafted to complement Nayeon’s vocals, creating a sonic landscape that’s as catchy as it is captivating. While the song is undeniably catchy, some might feel that it plays it safe within the boundaries of pop music without pushing the envelope too much.
Visual of the Music Video: 8.2/10 Visually, the music video for "ABCD" is a feast for the eyes. It’s bursting with color, whimsy, and a touch of nostalgia that perfectly matches the song’s upbeat vibe. Nayeon shines as she effortlessly moves through vibrant sets and playful choreography, showcasing her charisma and star power. The visual storytelling is on point, though a bit more narrative depth could have enhanced the overall impact.
Overall Impression: In conclusion, "ABCD" is a delightful single that solidifies Nayeon’s status as a solo powerhouse. It’s fun, it’s infectious, and it’s everything you’d want from a pop anthem. While it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it excels at what it sets out to do: deliver feel-good vibes with a side of Nayeon’s signature charm. Whether you’re a longtime TWICE fan or new to Nayeon’s solo work, "ABCD" is a must-listen that’s sure to leave you smiling and hitting replay. Here’s to more catchy tunes and colorful adventures from Nayeon in the future!
So there you have it, folks! It turns out I was sleep deprived and after listening to the whole album, it does make sense as to why ABCD is the title track. NOW, will I go out of my way and listen to this on repeat? Sadly, no for its still too girly/ girl crush for me. But "ABCD" gets a thumbs-up from me for its catchy beats, clever lyrics, and vibrant visuals. Pop it on your playlist and get ready to groove—it’s Nayeon at her finest!
Please remember to listen and form an opinion of your own!

Na- Nayeon 2nd Mini Album Review

Nayeon biases! I'm baaaaaack and buckle up because we're diving into Nayeon's solo debut with her album "Na"! As someone who isn't a TWICE fan and doesn't really seek out their solos or group songs, I was intrigued to see what this cheerful ray of sunshine (as my bestie would call her) could bring to the table all on her own. Here’s the lowdown on what went down:
Concept: 8.9/10 Nayeon's concept for "Na" is like a sugary shot of nostalgia mixed with a modern twist. She plays on themes of youthful innocence and heart-fluttering romance, which suits her image perfectly. It’s like stepping into a pastel wonderland where every song feels like a daydream on a sunny day. However, I would’ve loved a bit more depth in exploring different emotional landscapes beyond the usual lovey-dovey vibes.
Lyrics:9/10 Let’s talk lyrics! They’re cute, they’re catchy, and they stick like bubblegum to your brain. Nayeon brings her trademark charm with lyrics that are refreshingly honest and relatable. Whether she’s singing about crushes or the thrill of being young and carefree, you can’t help but smile along with her. But hey, a tad more poetic flair wouldn’t hurt to add some layers to her storytelling.
Beats: 7.5/10The beats in "Na" are where Nayeon really shines. They're bouncy, infectious, and tailor-made for those dance breaks in your bedroom. Each track has its own personality, from the upbeat pop anthems to the softer ballads that let Nayeon’s vocals soar. My only gripe? Some tracks felt a bit formulaic, like they were playing it safe instead of pushing the envelope.
Visual: 8/10Visually, Nayeon serves looks for days! The music video for ABCD is a feast for the eyes, with vibrant colors and whimsical settings that complement the album’s playful vibe. Nayeon herself is a total star, effortlessly blending cute and chic in every frame. It’s clear she’s having a blast, and that infectious energy leaps through the screen. However, a bit more experimentation with visual storytelling could have elevated the experience even further.
Overall Impression: In the end, "Na" is a delightful debut that showcases Nayeon’s undeniable talent and charisma. It’s a feel-good album through and through, perfect for those moments when you need a pick-me-up or a soundtrack to your sunny days. While it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it stays true to what makes Nayeon so beloved among fans: her infectious charm and killer vocals. Here’s hoping her next solo venture brings even more surprises and growth. While I do find it to be quite nice, I will still pick one or two songs out of the whole album. You know me... "Not a girly girl" and for me it's still a bit too girly. Until then, "Na:" will still be on my recommendation list.
So there you have it, folks! Nayeon’s "Na" album is a solid debut that’s sure to put a smile on your face. Grab your headphones, hit play, and get ready to dance like nobody’s watching and please for an opinion on your own!

ABCD-Nayeon Review

ONCE! Specifically, Nayeon biases! We got another one from your fav girl! Now, I came in AFTER "Pop!" and "No Problem" craze faded. I'm not gonna lie, I really like "Pop!" I have since then been listening to that and went about my day. Well, the time has come to review her new single and maybe her new album (Only if you want me to) With that being said, let's get into it.
Concept:8/10 It's cute but I've seen it. I find the early 2000s concept to be HEAVILY recycled for comebacks and although it's cool to see, it's starting to be a little.... boring. While I like what Nayeon herself has done with it, I wish she'd try something else.
Lyrics:6/10 Girl crush music again. Ya'll know I'm not a hug fan of that. She did have a few good lines in there with the play of ABCD. I thought that was cool. However, I think I'm looking for more girl power and "I'm an independent woman who don't need no man" type vibe. There's this part towards the end where she says "Ooh". Yeah that's the most basic word but it's the way she sings it. If you heard of "1 Thing" by Amerie(I'll link it below), you'll know what I'm talking about. She sings it in that tone.
Beat:6.5/10 Something was off and I'm not sure what it was. I felt like there were some notes to the beat that they cut out and when in reality, it should've been there. If I'm gonna be honest, it reminded me of "Eenie Meenie" by Chungha but more girly.
Visuals: 8.9/10 SO, I really enjoyed the video and it looks like she played into a lot of early 2000 music videos, that I enjoyed. Only thing is, it kind of bored me. Now it might be from the lack of sleep, it might even be my vibe of music is changing but I can say that I wasn't totally thrilled. But you can bet your bottom dollar I will watch it again and give you an updated opinion.
Overall: 7.9/10 While I did like the concept and what she was going for, it felt very familiar to me and very.... meh. Now ONCE don't tussle with me for do plan to watch the video again and take it all in and give you an updated opinion. But, for this initial opinion, it's basic to me and for Nayeon, she can do better. I believe it and I believe in her. I wish there was more creativity in it and I think with this song specifically it missed the mark... With that being said, this is one song I can listen to in passing or if someone intentionally turns it on, you wont see me go out of my way to play it.
This review isn't to hate on Nayeon or her new single. This is just my initial thoughts on it and I will give the single another try. I want to think it is from my lack of sleep that I am not feeling this. SO, trust that I would update if I changed my feelings on it. I encourage you to go and listen to it and get the vibe of it and if you disagree, let me know, I would love to have a discussion on it.
PLEASE please please please go and watch the video and form your own opinion. This another song that isn't for a girly like me and I'm ok with that, I wish an amazing outcome for Nayeon and her comeback. Also, if you would like me to review her new album as a whole, I will be making a poll so go and vote! Until next time!

Zombie- Everglow Review

Forever! How are yall? I heard that your fav group Everglow released a song two days ago called "Zombie" Now, I'm not gonna lie to you, I don't know who this group is, but I am willing to learn and as I'm writing this, I am doing my research. But enough about that, let's get into it
Concept(I've been writing at night so i keep forgetting this category) 10/10 I love the dark concept. It's giving cutesy Resident Evil and I kinda like that. In fact, I didn't know that could be possible. This is really a bravo moment
Lyrics: 7/10 I don't fully get it but I think that's because I'm trying to figure out if it's a breakup song or what. I know lyrics can be up for interpretation but, due to the fact that a lot of Western artists spoil us with giving a direct meaning to their lyrics, I can say I am a bit confused. BUT, if someone would like to clear it up for me, I'd love that!
Beat: 10/10 Yeah it was hard hitting enough for me, and it was dark and twisted. Honestly, slay. The marriage of all the sounds they used were just magical and when they did their own version of a zombie scream, I broke down into tears.... internally. I loved it!
Visuals: 9.9/10 WOW! The video gave Resident Evil vibes, and it was very futuristic/apocalyptic and I really enjoyed that. They only thing though is the phone, and I didn't get what that had to do with the video... Unless that was a product placement, then slay. Otherwise, the video was good. The choreography was on point, and I was fully engaged with the video! Good job ladies!
Overall: 10/10 Like I said in the beginning, I don't know this group but I have to say I am very impressed with them. They did the work and they ended up with a beautiful video and to that I say, they ate!
As I get more into girl groups, I must say I am very impressed with the bodies of work that they have come out with and Everglow is no different. I can't wait to see what they come up with next and if you haven’t seen the "Zombie" music video, what exactly are you doing? Go watch that and pleeeease remember to form an opinion of your own.
I would love to keep reviewing your fav group/ song/ etc. So, if you have something in mind, don't be afraid to mention it, you may see it as the next post! Until next time,
Annyeong!

Sabrina Carpenter- Please Please Please Review

Hey Krazies! We're back again with another Sabrin Carpenter song. Now I know I've been doing a few western songs, but I promise I'll get back to the K-pop. I just like to give you the scoop of what else is out there. So let's get into it
Lyrics:6/10 Its ok. I guess I had high hopes given my review on her last single "Espresso" so I was definitely looking forward to what this was about. I mean they're typical girl crush lyrics and that's ok. Just not the vibe for me.
Beat: 2/10: I'm sorry I hate it. the 80's Synthes and the country tones really confused me. I don't have much to say but something made my brain short circuit.
Visuals: 7/10 So, I watched the video with my best friend, and I can tell you that I did not get the concept. When my friend told me the concept, I then understood it. Unfortunately, I never seen one of the movies it was based off of and I kinda don't plan to. All in all, it as cute
Overall: 5/10 Another one that's not my fav. I'm a little disappointed but I also understand that this song isn't for me. The girls that get it get it and I'm the girl that doesn't and that's ok. I will say though I plan on listening to whatever else that Sabrina puts out because I like her. So go listen to Please, Please, Please and form your own opinion.
This is definitely a song that has an acquired taste. Either you like it or you don't. But this girl is talented ad who can hate her for that? Even though this son is miss for ME, I want her to be a t the top and I can't wait to see what she does next!

The Boy is Mine - Ariana Grande video review
youtube
Alright Arianators, its your time. Ariana came out with a video to her rendition of The Boy is Mine originally done by Brandy and Monica. So let's get into it
Lyrics: 7.6/10 Just hear me out.... Lyrically its really good.. The meaning behind it is the problem. We all heard of the scandal and seen the man... I'm just ya know, side eyeing. Now if there is a different meaning to the song, then I'll reconsider but for now, this is what it is. I will say it is catchy.
Beat: 10/10 It's poppy with some RnB. Which is a hit for me. I loved the switch of the tempo, and I couldn't get over it. That's the other part that I liked.
Visuals: 10/10+10 I looooved the Gotham/ Cat woman vibe. It was different and honestly, she ate with that one. Which version of Cat Woman was she channeling? I have no idea, but it was a slay. Let's not forget her love interest... Chef's kiss.
Overall: 10/10 As much as I want to hate this song, I can't. Yeah, she's not a girl's girl but you have to admit that the song is catchy. Then she somewhat got the stamp of approval from the OGs of the song with the same title. You can't make me hate this song.... I'm sorry
Give this song a listen and go watch the video. It was fun, flirty, and very much like a DC universe comic. and if you want a spoiler, yes, she did get the guy.
