My current D&D group is supposed to rob a casino. We (I) failed a stealth check and got caught. So I went ahead unionized the workers. Now all the waitstaff and dealers are on strike. I may have broken our DM. Win-win.

Worst DnD moment: New player joins our table at an open game. He's incredibly enthusiastic about roleplaying a consistent personality, which is cool until he proudly tells the tale of how he once made his character sit in an inn for an entire session because his character wouldn't have taken the DM's hook.

At this point I realised he a bit of an asshole, but I'm not going to lie, I was still eager to see what this serious roleplay character was going to be like, the guy had put a lot of thought into fleshing out his Japanese Human Sage Monk...

And then he opened his mouth in character for the first time. DM, It was a full "flied lice" racist caricature of an Asian accent coming out of a loud English guy in the middle of a packed pub and he was so proud of his acting skill. My soul withered and flew away when I realised everyone around us could hear. Thankfully he never came back to our table again.

I *cringed* reading that, oh my goodness. That is a good thing he never came back 😄

Worst DnD collection of moments was when the DM said to us "I' not one of those DMs who kills off your characters, that's no fun for anyone" and then proceeded to have us fight pretty big baddies EVERY session. We were underlevelled for the foes we were facing, but we kept winning by some stroke of luck even though two of us kept getting KO'd and nearly killed. DM wound up randomly discontinuing the game mid-battle and there's been no discussion of it coming back. I think they're still annoyed they didn't succeed in killing any of us.

That is terrible! I hate DMs like that, unless the whole party consents to DM v. Players. It's probably good that it's not coming back. You deserve better

I am SEETHING! It took me weeks to save up the minimum amount to buy the Baldur's Gate 3 Collectors Edition, but because it's all sold out and they won't be restocking, it looks like the only option is SCALPERS! I don't want to give my money to Scalpers. I want to give it to the damn company who made the damn game!!! It's not even out yet and this is what it's being listed for on Ebay. The original product cost $300 USD
