Everything was wrong, he didn’t breath anymore, didn’t need to eat, he barely slept and when he did, it wasn’t comfortably. He slept with one eye open, keeping it peeled for any dissection tool his parents may use against him.
Not that his father was really his father, and while his mother was his mom, she hadn’t been acting it all that much since the portal accident. It had been over a year, and he had quite a handle on all of his abilities, though with that said there had been a particularly close incident with a new ray gun, a ghost net, and then a scalpel. If it wasn’t for Jazz… Well he didn’t want to think too much about a permanent afterlife.
With only two options for safety left, and one being a crazed fruitloop, he chose the latter. His biological father. Bruce Wayne.
With the help and blessing of his friends and sister, he packed a bag, and flew himself to Gotham and sat himself on the front porch before transforming back.
He took a deep, unnecessary breath and way too long to ring the doorbell. After what felt like forever, a graying man in a well fitted suit opened the door. He raised a bushy eyebrow at him and posed a question.
“Ah!” Danny said, he rubbed the back of his neck and rocked on his heels.
“So, this is going to sound somewhat strange, but I am Bruce Wayne’s biological son.”
The butler's eyebrow raised higher.
Danny fidgeted with his hands before scrambling to pull out some poorly folded paperwork. “It’s all documented…” he said, handing over the stack of paper. “We’ve tried to get in contact before, and it hasn’t been urgent in the past…”
“And it is now?” The man asked.
“Well, things at home aren’t quite… Safe for me.” He tried not to let his tears spill. “A-anyways, I was hoping that I could crash here for a while.”
The man looked over the documents for a moment, looked at Danny, then back to the paperwork. He pulled out a phone and spoke.
“Master Bruce… Do you recall the name Daniel Fenton?”
“It’s just Danny,” he mumbled.
“He claims his home life is no longer safe… Very well, I’ll see to it.”
The man stood to the side and ushered Danny inside the mansion before speaking.
“My name is Alfred, If you need anything you can bring it to my attention and I’ll see to it.” Alfred led the way through a bunch of halls and did a bunch of turns that it almost made Danny lost, he guided him into a study, where one Bruce Wayne was waiting.
“Daniel Fenton, or should Daniel Wayne?”
“Uh- Just Danny, please.”
“Alright then, Danny. Please explain the situation at home that has made it unsafe for you.”
Danny hesitated, and looked around the room, trying to find anything to stare at other than this man.
“If you don’t feel comfortable…”
“No! It’s not that… I just…” Danny mumbled something inaudible. Then being asked to raise his voice, he spoke again. “My parents are scientists… a-and some of their experiments are a bit… much?”
“What do you mean?”
“They’re… ghost hunters and the specimens they capture aren’t treated very… humanely. They get really focused on their work and forget about things like… the fact that they have kids, or that bills need to be paid, and sometimes their weaponry instead of targeting ghosts, targets me.
I-I just don’t feel safe there anymore, and my mom and dad have never really been great parents… It’s really kinda like I’ve been more of a side hustle than something important to them.
Bruce paused in concern, before speaking. “Alright, you are more than welcome to stay here, you’ll have to get along with my ward, though, he’s a bit younger than you, he’s 14.”
“T-that’s fine. Thank you.”
For the first time Danny looked at the man, familiar blue eyes stared back and they stared with kindness. One he hadn’t seen from a parent in a long time.
It’s not that his parents didn’t love him, or were unkind to him, just that they were so preoccupied with dissecting his alter ego, that they never made time for him.
And with that one look, he broke down into tears, and gave the man a backbreaking hug. Bruce hesitated before hugging him back.
“Welcome home, son.”
-
Danny got along great with Dick, he was a riot, and fun to be around. And so was his friend Wally. Though that kid spoke a hundred miles a minute.
The half ghost quickly felt at home, and somehow fit in at the fancy parties and such Bruce seemed to throw so often. And he wasn’t going to complain about all the expensive ventures they went on so often.
Danny fell very quickly into routine as a 16 year old under a billionaire’s roof, and very quickly into routine as a ghost in a city full of crime. He made sure to stay out of sight 100% of the time, which was exhausting, but he wasn’t having to sleep with one eye open anymore so that helped a lot.
It wasn’t till Danny decided to explore the mansion a few months in that he found a very interesting discovery.
He transformed while still invisible then sat himself down behind the Batman himself, before popping into the visible spectrum and speaking. “Hey Dad.”
A baterang flew straight for Danny’s head and lodged itself in the wall behind his head. Almost in the same instant, Bruce called out his name. “DANNY!?”
With wide eyes, he turned to look at the projectile he’d just phased through then back to his dad.
“What are you doing down here? Be so glad I missed! How did you… Where did you…”
“Come in? Well, since you’re a super, I can let you in on one of my secrets. That question you’ve been asking, about my parent’s tech targeting me, it’s because their experiments kinda rubbed off on me,” he said. Flashing in and out of the visible spectrum for a moment. “Also, you didn’t miss.” He phased one of his hands through his head where the baterang would have hit.
The Batman was reeling.
And they stood staring at one another for a moment, Danny was just waiting for him to make a move, because he sure as hell wasn’t going to make the first one.
Neither of them did, in the end. Seeing as Dick, now apparent as Robin, walked out of an elevator looking at his holo glove speaking to Bruce before looking up.
“Hey Bruce, have you seen Danny? I wanted to make sure he was asleep before we went on patrol, but he’s not in his ro-om.” He paused as he looked up to see Danny grinning like a maniac.
“Oh this is going to be so much fun!”
-
Danny learned about the covert-ops team and how they were almost never covert.
He was hoping to turn that around. And he did, very quickly making himself a favorite on the team. What the team knew was that he could turn invisible and go intangible, as well as shoot ghost rays. That’s it. But he’d made himself quite valuable in collecting information and staying covert.
-
It was several months into him being a part of the team when he got an urgent message from the Justice League, calling the team in for reinforcements. They were supposedly fighting some kind lord of chaos, who had teamed up with some kind of demon vampire. They were getting beaten to a pulp couldn’t scratch the enemy.
What the JL didn’t know, was that Danny himself would like to be considered a lord of chaos, and that the ‘demon vampire’ was one crazed up fruitloop on a power trip.
In his regular clothes, sans the uniform Batman insisted he wear, he walked up to Vlad Plasmius with the rest of the league yelling at him to get away. Though the League was not doing very well themselfs. Half of them were unconscious, and the other half were barely so.
“What the actual fuck, Vlad?”
Batman was very confused, but also very worried for his son, whom he’d grown to care for wayyyy more than he’d ever expected.
“DANNY! Get out of there!”
The two ignored him.
“Ahh, young Daniel. I see I’ve finally gotten your attention.”
“Yeah, you didn’t have to go attacking the JL to do it though!”
“Yes, but you see, this was so much more fun! I’ve recently found that if I kill you, I get the crown and the ring, making me the king of the Ghost Zone and the infinite realms.”
“I will wack that damn smirk off your face for the last time Vlad, don’t mess with my family. This is your only warning.”
“Oh Butterbiscuts,” Vlad said. “It seems I’m not the only one here for you though. Have you met my companion, Klarion? He would benefit of course from me become in ruler.”
“This will be fun.”
Vlad began his assault on Danny, who threw up a shield, much to his father’s surprise. He fended him off well, until Klarion added his magic into the mix.
His shield started cracking, and Batman did his best to try and get away from this weird green goo that was holding him back, but much to his horror, he got out of it just in time to see Danny’s shield shatter, and for him to be blasted back with blood pooling from his chest, along with the same green substance he was just trapped in.
Klarion looked dissatisfied and disappointed with his broken play thing, and turned to find something else to brake
Batman ran to his son, to find his lifeless body laying haphazardly across the rubble, Robin had just arrived on scene and ran to where Danny and Batman were.
“No pulse,” Batman said, ever so stoically. But on the inside, he felt broken.
“No,” Robin went pale.
“Ahhh, I see.” Vlad said, using his power to lift Batman and Robin off the ground and away from Danny, he spoke to them. “So you’re the new family he’s become so fond of. What a pity he’ll never see you again.”
They were confused by his words, because they found them backwards, but it didn’t matter long as they became Vlad’s newest targets and point of interest.
Robin had been knocked unconscious long ago, and the Bat had several broken bones and most likely internal bleeding. It wasn’t till there was a shift in the air, that things turned in the Justice league’s favor.
There was a bright green swirling energy and a flash of white light before one Danny Phantom appeared.
Batman wouldn’t have believed it unless he’d seen it himself with his bloodied and tired eyes. His son, transformed into a ghost.
The rage was palpable by everyone who was still conscious, and Batman knew in this moment someone was about to die.
“VLAD PLASMIUS!!!”
“Oh.”
“Oh, is an understatement.”
In that moment the justice league whitenessed the true power Danny had, they whitenessed the power of Danny Phantom.
The onslaught of attacks was never ending on both Vlad and Klarion, using speed in flight that would put the Flash to shame, and powering his punches with ectoplasm… it was a sight to see. Like green and black lightning it didn’t take long for both Klarion and Vlad to go down.
As the two villains lay unconscious in ice, Batman limped over to Danny, and held him in a back breaking hug. And saw something no one had ever seen or would ever again. Tears. Tears streaming out from under the black cowl and a look of terror in his eyes. “Your parents… killed you?”
“One of their inventions did, yeah.” Danny frowned, but then laughed. “Kinda only halfway.” He gave a cheeky grin and rubbed the back of his neck as he transformed. “They got a little too close to dissecting me one time, that was right before I came to find you.”
“For the love of god, I’ll do something about them, and we’ll figure this out…”
“Dad, it’s okay.”
“But…”
“I…” he hesitated. “I kinda like it this way, nothing can touch me, not even death.”
“Ohhh, you’re going to make one big headed hero, aren’t you.”
“Already learned my lesson in humility, a few times actually,” he gave a half hearted laugh. “Ghosts are pretty ruthless.”
“I can see that, with this… Vlad guy.”
“Vlad? Dad, that’s Vlad Masters, the guy I always avoid at your parties, the Mayor of Amity Park.”
“What?!”
“Yeah, he’s been a pain in my ass since almost day one. But we had this mutually assured destruction about each other's identities. Not a problem now,” Danny shrugged.
“Wait a minute, what was he talking about a crown?”
Danny did his best to avoid the question, but ultimately was unable to. “Yeahhh… Ya see, I’m technically crown prince, and then king of the infinite realms as soon as I turn 18.”
Batman drew his hand down his face and sighed. “What am I going to do with you, son?”
“Love me?” He grinned.
His dad pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head.
“Com’on, you know you do.”
“Yeah, I do.”
I have ANGST! Part 2
There's a 1 3 4 5 6 7
Danny knows that Jack Fenton is not his father.
Danny knows, Jazz knows, the whole family knows. His mom and dad had never made it a secret that he was conceived during a one night stand with Bruce Wayne.
They also didn't make it a secret that if Mr. Wayne knew, then he didn't care. They'd never heard a peep from him or Wayne Industries.
They'd tried so many times to contact him before giving up. They'd even gone to Gotham and left a letter in the mailbox at WI and the Mansion.
But that was fine. Danny didn't need some stupid billionaire in his life. He had his mom and dad and Jazz and his friends.
So what if the guy who couldn't be bothered to know him went and adopted a kid?
Everything is A-OK.
Until it's not.
He died.
He's alive, but he died and it h u r t .
And now Amity Park is being attacked and his parents keep shooting at him and he's failing his classes and the government wants to kill him and Vlad wants to kill dad and he has a clone.
Everything is going wrong and he doesn't have anyone to lean on.
Tucker and Sam... and Jazz, they're just kids like him.
He can't tell his mom and dad. They want to hurt him.
What should he do? What should he do? What should he do? What should he do? What should he do? What should he do?What should he do?

I want to start this out by saying I am a safe space for anyone, no matter what.
Secondly I’d like to make my beliefs clear. I am a member of the otherkin community, I Am lionkin and Aviankin. I am a member of the satanic temple, no I do not worship Satan.
I believe that I have the spirit of both a lion and some form of avian in me. I have large wings, a long tail, fluffy ears and sharp teeth.
I want to use this blog as a safe space for otherkin and a place for education for those who don’t know what otherkin are.
Thank you, please repost, follow, tag, blah blah blah.

I have this planner with these absolutely ridiculous pages with like “motivational” quotes on them that are just these bullshit things like “Let your heart sing” and “Always believe in your dreams”
and like that’s always struck me as such meaningless bullshit, I’ve always hated those. They’ve never had that element that truly motivates me.
So, I took matters into my own hands and I made my own artsy motivational wallpapers. Enjoy.

I was out with my siblings...
I ran and purposely slid on the icy snow, and my seven year old brother yells at me... “are you trying to kill you self?!”
Not two seconds later, he does the same thing. And I ask him what he’s doing.
“Doing what you were doing.”

I am a martial artist, and belt tests are huge. My mom doesn’t seem to care, but I always beg her to come. But I always end up disappointed with the lack of her appearance, and I always end up in tears.

I would like to thank my therapist...
For always validating me.
Making me feel like I have control in my life, and that I’m doing a good job; even when my messed up brain can’t see it.
And for always giving me the best advice.
Today’s advice...
“Your head’s a bit messed up, so trust your gut. I trust you, you can’t go wrong.”
