Now, there are two versions of the Turbo Twins. If you want to add the small clover and heart on their masks, then I'd recommend just drawing them on with Sharpie after ironing.

Two OCs combined into an Ena OC!

Pride = Torrent, Ace of Hearts, he's a Disney Villain Recruiter oc

Ego = Troy Tastor, King of Diamonds, he's a Twisted Wonderland oc

Above were some facts and stuff about the symbolism behind certain playing cards (tho take it with a grain of salt because I got them off of Google), it mainly focus on the Ace, the King, the Diamonds, and the Hearts. Also, not gonna lie, this was just my excuse to fill up the page and make it look pretty with the candy wrappers and colored paper scraps I had.

Below, I also used colored paper to make lil cards based on both sides, kinda like the Ena oc trend.

Introducing Torrent! Now in the hit game Date Everything!

After seeing @lazymonth 's art of Turbo in Date Everything, I thought it would be cool to draw Torrent in Date Everything and considering the backstory I have for him, I thought it would be fitting if he was his mom's drawing setup.

Small details about his design, I picked the Wacom Intuos 4 because I remembered watching this video by LavenderTowne sometime ago, and because of the stickers and the fact that it feel like something Diane would own, I thought it would suit him. Course, I changed the stickers to be more Scene-based as that's Torrent's main style.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

The Current Lore for the Tastor Family

Considering how long this is, I'm putting the lore below the cut. But before you read, there are some topics of generational trauma, substance abuse (specifically alcohol abuse), and bad parenting.

Beginnings, Starting with the Grandfather, Before Scott was Born: Scott’s parents lived in the Land of Pyroxene, which is the Twisted Wonderland equivalent of Germany. His dad was known as a stern racing coach that worked with the greatest racers, and his wife became pregnant later on. Right now, life is good.

(Until it’s not) Scott’s here: The wife died during childbirth, life is sad :(, he retires early, and is implied to start struggling with alcohol and substance abuse to forget the pain but became sober when Scott wanted to pursue a racing career.

Scott & Lindsy’s Days in FTU: Scott was a racing prodigy, went to school at FTU and quickly made a name for himself as he became the dorm leader of Candivana when he was just a freshman. However, his school days weren’t all sunshines and rainbows as his dad didn’t want him to fail so his dad developed a very strict parenting style. But that kinda backfired as Scott rebelled in his own way by acting like a delinquent, sleeping around, became a bit of a player & a flirt, and would go to any of the parties going on on campus (and would get absolutely hammered). This might change in the future but I suppose that this was when he met Try’s bio mom, (temporary name) Lindsy F. Fuku, and they had a situationship. I believe they were drawn to each other as they both had very controlling parents and used the parties and their situationship to relieve stress. She was in the Coco based Dorm since she had dreams of being a star ever since she was young. Her parents noticed and focused on helping her succeed since they didn’t want her to fail her dreams and wanted to be supportive, but in the process unintentionally became very controlling about her career and started to suck the joy out of her dreams. Side note, she is from Foothill Town, it’s where the locals of Sage’s Island live, and based on these two posts (1 & 2), Sage’s Island could be the closest thing to Japan in Twisted Wonderland. Then Scott’s from the Land of Pyroxene, essentially the closest thing to Germany in Twisted Wonderland. That makes Troy's Japanese-German as he’s twisted from Turbo and the game TurboTime heavily parodies Rally-X, and Rally-X was developed in Japan and Germany.

Scott’s Career: He graduated and immediately got into the racing scene and instantly started a winning streak. (He also kinda continued his situationship with Troy’s bio mom, with it being a bit on and off.) However, the late night habits he formed during his time in FTU (partying and getting drunk) started to affect his performance, and eventually after a year or two, those habits catch up to him and he breaks his winning streak and get 2nd place in a very important race, (maybe it can be called the Roadblasters Race or it took place on the Roadblasters Stadium). (Real quick the person he lost to was his one friend in his racing career and will later on be the Twins’ dad.) Because of the loss his strict father (who is his racing coach) gives him soooooooo much shxt for it, and even though their relationship isn’t the best, Scott still cares about his dad so his words still affected him deeply. Then, keep in mind by now he's in his 20s so he’s still pretty young and early stardom can stun someone’s emotional growth so he unfortunately took out his emotions in a very negative way. Via a combination of still having some of the alcohol in his body from the night before the race and the verbal beatdown he just received from his dad, he unfortunately took out his negative emotions in a way that would become a permanent stain on his career.

The Beginning of the End of Scott’s Career: After the Roadblasters’ Race, there was an after party celebration and Scott was a bit loose with his mouth, so during the after party he grabbed his friend, the first place winner by the collar and yelled and cursed him out. He didn’t mean any of the stuff he said, and thankfully his friend knew that since they were that close and he has the patience of a saint, but the paparazzi/press caught all of that and basically cancelled him.

The End of Scott’s Career: Scott’s now hit rock bottom in his career and the final nail in the coffin was when Lindsy, came to his doorstep, stated that she needed to end their situationship so she can focus her career as a rising star and left Troy in his hands because she believed that he already had a lot of money and a whole lot more free time since his racing career is indefinitely put on pause, meaning he’d have an easier time taking care of Troy compared to her, who was just starting to kick off their career and isn’t making much yet. (That, and her parents pressured her into giving Troy away since it would complicate things.) Now after being shunned from the racing scene by fans, other members, and such, along with having his dad ignore him and deal with all of this by himself (his father’s attempt at a “tough love” that’ll help him “grow up” and “figure out adult life on his own” after he’s been the one doing everything for him, neglecting to teach Scott how to be independent), and a baby to top it off, Scott’s career is officially over and now he’s focused on raising Troy.

Troy’s Life:

He transitioned at a young age.

Childhood friends with the Twins (Emmet & Morty) and another TWST oc that’s twisted from Felix.

Thanks to his father and the family friend (the Twins’ father and the same friend that won the Roadblasters Race), Troy got into motor sports at a young age.

Racing was also one of the few talking points that would work with Scott and get him talking, Troy always liked it when his dad was genuinely happy, like when he could see that spark in his eyes when he talks about racing so he learned more about it hoping to bond with him over it.

However when Troy also started to show signs of being a racing prodigy, Scott was scared. He didn’t want him to turn out like him so he tried making extra sure that he doesn’t form the same habits he did, but he sorta went about it in the wrong way.

Considering how Scott’s father guilt-tripped the hell out of him when he lost the Roadblasters Race, Scott does believe to an extent that his father was right when he said that by being too lenient with him on his training, performance, and his bad habits, it made him lose his edge over the other racers despite being a prodigy.

Hoping that it’ll prevent history from repeating itself, Scott was very strict with Troy when it comes to practice and ironically, that allows history to repeat itself (but with some differences).

(Sketchbook Stuff I've Never Posted Pt8)

So first, I wanted to use this opportunity to come up with designs for all my TWST ocs' mothers, but I only had motivation and time to do one, also because Anthony, Ben, Emmet, and Morty are the only ones with actual official designs at the moment.

As you can see, I did my best to try and show a heavy family resemblance between her and her son as it's been noted that most of the TWST boys in canon look a lot like their mothers, (same thing with the Disney princesses too lol).
