Ended up back home. Nisha sat me down and interrogated me for hours about where I’d been. Took a while to convince her I’d just gone to hang out with some friends and lost track of time. she always seems to forget i am friends with people that live outside the manor. Not too much of an issue, if anything it was funnier to me. Had fun though, not gonna lie. And yeah, i know this is almost shocking to hear from me. This character takes place around the start of marble hornets, where it’s situated that Brian, Seth, Amy, and Sarah are all technically ‘missing’ or just haven’t been seen on camera in a bit.

Okay this is going to be an out of character post solely because i want people to see some of the dumbassery i just had to go through.

So, outside of creepypasta, I’m an SCP nerd. I love the stories, plan to write some of my own, basics, yknow?

So, i went to the SCP subreddit for some simple advice. I wanted to know how to write a Mobile Task Force into my own Site and make it seem coherent.

Most people had the basic advice, like the fact i could just write them in and it would technically count since SCP has no set “canon”.

And then this one dude comes in. And at first they’re giving fairly okay advice, like making it make sense, throwing in the fact that some people add comedy, but these weren’t exactly what i needed since my stories don’t exactly have much comedy. Sure some moments can be deemed comedic, but not exactly comedy. Even still, i explained the scene to them and then asked if it justified the existence.

And they told me no.

They began telling me that my character would be contained. Because the foundation didn’t know this site existed to everything that was going on.

But i tried to explain it, all without telling everything from the stories because whats the point in writing it if i just tell that person everything when it wasn’t even meant to be part of the conversation because i was asking about the TASK FORCE, not the SITE.

And then they proceed to ask me if i graduated highschool.

Or if i had basic knowledge of real world facility’s like SCP.

They were treating SCP like it was meant to completely follow real-world rules. as if they don’t contain anomalies like statue that’s basically a weeping angel or slime that makes you laugh when nearby. All while insulting my intelligence as if i was less than them because i wanted to have fun with fantasy.

And let me remind you, SCP has no canon. Not all sites will behave the same, not all people interpret characters the same, so i think it would be safe to say that maybe they can forget about a sleeper agent they sent out to handle a person of interest up until they find out the person started their own Site upon not being able to get back to the one they started at due to amnestics making them forget.

So yeah. That’s been my night.

Anyways, rant over, you’re all still cool as hell i just needed to get this off my chest.

If any big SCP writers see this, i am still taking criticism, and im actually working up a draft for green lighting my Site and Task Force to see other people on the wikis opinions.

Mani is forcing me to tell more about myself. So i guess I’ll share random details?

I used to be in a band. Not a big one, just kinda one i did myself. It was just me and my friend Liam.

Liam was… the first person i trusted. I miss him. A lot. I hate remembering what happened but I’ll answer if asked.

My siblings were like little beams of light. Rea took after me, adoring music and the outdoors. My little brothers, Jackson and James, they’re twins. Both of them had a huge thing for space back then.

My mom studied astrology, my dad was a doctor. We were fairly well off where we were, it was nice.

I visited Rosswood once as a teen. It was during my angsty years after what happened between me and Liam, i ran off. It’s how i met Alex initially. He was a bit bloody, but i didn’t really question it. Everything. There was quiet and it was just some way to get away from what was happening.

I only found Alex again years after what happened to my family. He seemed shocked to see me, and god he looked rough. Dried blood, hazy eyes, some weird smoke surrounding him… I didn’t focus on it. I thought he was my key to finding out what happened to my family. Turns out he was just another problem.

The Ark were shockingly protective when it came to new faces in the woods. That’s not to say i wasn’t scared shitless with everything going on when i saw them. You can’t tell me you wouldn’t freak out too if some guy in a skull mask just stared at you while you were lost in the woods.

They were the ones to help me after me and Alex’s falling out. The one in yellow also mentioned how it wasn’t their first time helping me, mentioned that it’s why i had those unmarked tapes. Never did watch them until after it all, but it explained a lot. Now they’re all basically my family, best friends at the least.

Rust… we don’t get along, i mentioned that. After The Ark found and sorta saved me, we started arguing. Rust said that i can’t keep lying, i keep saying i don’t know what he’s talking about. They don’t know about him, they don’t have to know about him. That’s that. I don’t care how long he claims to be the real Marcus, I’m not trusting him.

As for random fun facts, i guess i can share a few.

I like a small amount of country music. Not too much, nothing on the line of the extreme, just a little bit. I also listen to blues, but not as often.

Uh… my favorite food is noodles. If you can add good flavor, I’ll probably eat it. I’m not picky.

No matter how much we don’t get along, me and Rust know we need eachother. We don’t like admitting it, but now would be the time to say it. We need eachother because we can access parts of eachother memories that the other might’ve forgotten. He’s why i know why Alex did what he did, and I’m why he goes by Rust. Because it’s his favorite color.

Other than that, just ask me some questions. You can just be curious or have anything i didn’t mention on your mind, I’m fine with it. -Marcus

I feel like i could be, but im not sure.

I know I don’t have DID or anything else like that, but I feel as if I’m acting like a different person sometimes, or thinking like a different person.

OOC: Okay, so, this is different for everyone. For me personally, someone had to physically appear in front and tell me. I thought i was insane for maybe like 2 weeks until someone else showed up to confirm. I had to do a lot of looking into it to figure out if i was actually experiencing it, so make sure you do your research!! Sometimes that’s how it all begins, the more i remember it the more i realize how obvious it was for me. I used to talk to my stuffed animals, they all had names and distinct personalities, everything. I’m a very creative person so i brushed it off, but meeting them “face to face” in a sense was the last straw.

Either way, it’s different for everyone! You’d have to do your research to find ways that you could figure out if you have it, try to make sure your sources are credible! Try to see if you can chat with them more, if they have a name, things like that! -Cupid
