i'm all for welcoming twitter and reddit refugees but you guys have got to leave your unsolicited argumentative dickheadery at the door. why are you reblogging fanart or people's original writing or people's goddamn personal posts like "ew this is gross" or "lmao cringe"? reblogging is not a quote tweet, it's not a comment we can downvote into oblivion, we can see this shit, it contributes nothing but pissing off you and everyone else. don't like something? block op and ignore it. we stopped throwing shit at each other in 2019; you should too.

One thing I love about Tumblr that wasn't a thing on Reddit is that I can just write whatever the fuck text post I want. No titles. No putting text on images. No algorithms or karma. Just fuckin splatter your mind onto the screen and people will see it. Like god intended.

Having your own personal blog is honestly quite a nice change of pace compared to Reddit. I could put a funny GIF of George Bush getting hit by a shoe on here and the worse case scenario is that no one even notices.

You put that on a big subreddit and you get your eyes gouged out and a heap of political discourse underneath your post.
