As spring rolls in so does gentle breezes, chirping birds and rolling clouds. Spring is deeply associated with the element of Air.
I think Air is an underrated element. People are often unsure how they connect to it or what it would bring into a spell. In a way, that is the nature of Air. It is an element of movement and change. By its nature, it cannot exist and be still. Air is the motive force of the elements. It is the breath of life, and the winds of change.
Air, like all elements, has its own power and strength. Associated with the mind, inspiration, truth, and communication to name a few. In Tarot it is represented by the sword traditionally. I’d encourage those who are creatives to spend time with it.
In my greatest moments of stress, I try to connect to the lightness and freedom of Air. I breathe, I walk, and I move past the stress that I feel.
With this being the season of Air, I wanted to share a few ways to work with Air below. 🌬️
-Verbal Spells -Your breathe -Smoke/Incense -Bells -Asking the wind to cleanse you -Storm Magic -Brooms -Balms/Oils made for the element -Meditating Outside -Sounds/Music -Fans -Utilizing feathers
These are just a handful of ways I’ve connected to the element. If there’s anything you can share, drop it in the comments!
Pictured is our Air Elemental Balm. I spellcrafted this balm to help with connecting with Air and its associated properties. This balm I often use outside of spellwork. Mostly putting it on before I go work on projects, meditate or go about my day.

Sigrblót is the norse celebration of spring, which happens during the fourth full moon after the winter solstice.
In 2025, that's April 12th-14th.
Usually, harvest and fertility deities are honored during this holiday, but it can also be any other deity or spirit.
How to celebrate
(This is not the 'right' or only way. Feel free to personalize the experience to your liking.)
One
Enjoy the sun. Go outside if possible or sit on your balcony or in front of an open window. Do something you like, like drawing, painting, reading, or just sitting still with your eyes closed. Try to appreciate the fresh air, the singing birds and the warmth of the sun.
Two
Give offerings to harvest/fertility deities, or any deity or spirit you like. Offer something they are associated with or you think they will like, and something you made yourself like food, homemade ice tea, art, a plant or a poem. (The offerings do not have to be destroyed.)
If you have something to thank them for, feel free to do that.
Three
Eat something seasonal if you can. Work together with your loved ones to cook something that all of you will enjoy. If that's not an option, cook or order something that'll make you feel good.
Don't be afraid to make it fun! You can turn on some music and dance in the kitchen, or take way too much time decorating cupcakes.
Four
Say a few words about loved ones that have passed on. If you want, put a picture of them on the table so they can join you during the celebration. Share stories and maybe even give them an offering too.
Five
Share with your loved ones how you did with your goals from last year. Did you achieve them? Was it hard? What did you struggle with? Did you learn something new?
Exchange advice and knowledge. Everyone can learn something.
Six
Set new goals. Sigrblót is the new year's of the old norse people. This is when the world starts to come out of its shell again. Take advantage of that energy and write down some goals for this year. Meditate on them or manifest them if you want.
Please be aware that none of this is set in stone. You can celebrate however you want and it'll be just fine! This post is simply meant to act as a guide for those who are looking for ideas.

It’s so weird to me when people won’t do any action on their own in witchcraft. I’m not sure if it’s fear, them being new to the practice, genuine desire to learn what someone else thinks or coming from a religion where there are strict rules.
We are so lucky to be able to share knowledge, our personal practices, and spellwork online. It’s amazing but I think it holds some witches back. I’ll see comments that really should be trial and error, personal preference, or come easily to natural conclusion for a witch based their experience and past research. And I worry these people stop there and don’t look into their curiosity further. They seem fearful to just try doing a ritual, or like they don’t want to read books or search online on their own. Maybe it’s lack confidence in their abilities? (metaphysical or academically for research.) Learning from our peers is huge in this community, but asking a stranger online to hopefully answer you shouldn’t be your sole “research”. Witchcraft and magic is deeply personal. What works for one person might not work for you, and vice versa.
Do research, compare people’s experiences and try things out!
Y'all know it's okay to just try stuff in witchcraft, right?
Across the internet, I see a lot of people who seem to be asking for permission to do what they want. While I see some validity in getting wisdom from others, I worry that the people asking these questions might miss out on the experience they could get from going ahead and making a good faith attempt.
"Can I do this spell even if I don't have rosemary?" I don't know. Try it!
"Can I use fruit juice as an offering to my goddess?" I don't know. Ask her!
"Can I include a pocket watch in my magic?" I don't know. See if it works!
Of course, it's not a good idea to jump in and try something that could be harmful, but if you're not hurting yourself or others and you're not appropriating from a closed practice, just give it a go! You're allowed. You're a witch with magic and power and discernment of your own. You don't have to get permission from a bunch of internet strangers. Have fun trying new things!

My spouse and I did a ritual for the spring equinox that was low key and a lot of fun.
We cleansed ourselves and anointed ourselves with oils. I made a candle for boosting our intentions and hollowed out eggs. We wrote out our desires for the spring season focused on growth, manifesting, personal power, projects we want to take root etc. We anointed those papers again with oils and then put them inside the eggs. We pained them based on the goal or spring energy (these are mine) and sealed them! We also went outside and planted some wildflower seeds which was a blast.
The oils I used are in the second photo and as a warning they are my own brands oils, but I wanted to share the vibes we went for. If you’re interested you can shop our website here

Grimoire ideas that aren't research
While my grimoire is dedicated to research and documentation and I love that for it, I totally get how a load of writing isn't for every practitioner. I didn't want to leave you guys out so here are some grimoire ideas that aren't related to research.
_________________
Pen test/paint test page
make a spell page or prayer page in the style of collage/black out poetry
make a zine of the holidays/your preferred tools/deities/spirits ect.
make collage of your deities/spirits or local wildlife
tape grid/dump
sticker dump
sigil dump
If you're handy with a needle and thread, turn those sigils into patches for your clothes
Tape in an envelope to store excess thread or make a page of thread colour correspondences
if you enjoy cooking, make a list of flavour combos and their magical properties including dish uses, colour schemes, aromas, general vibes ect.
Rip off the labels of your candles, herbs and spices and stick them in your grimoire for future reference
design your own insignia (you don't have to be in a coven)
stick in pictures of local haunted attractions/spiritual places and (optionally) write about them
make a collage of you ideal work space or meditation spot
Plan/design your ritual outfit
make a charging station for small objects then design a large one for yourself (can be conceptual or literal)

Happy Spring Equinox 🌷
Today marks the beginning of spring and all the energy connected to this season. If youre looking for ritual ideas some ideas to focus on include: fertility, growth, manifestation, new beginnings, planting seeds, growth, rebirth/renewal, bringing in energy, and overall sun energy.
This is often a time where witches set intentions, spring clean and cleanse. Getting rid of what’s not needed to make a clear path for your new desires. Rituals don’t have to be complicated unless you want them to be. I recommend spending time at your altar cleansing and cleaning it, or taking a ritual bath. My spouse and I will be doing a manifestation ritual today as well.
Have an amazing equinox ✨
Photos is not mine 🖤

Weekend Wizards Devlog #2
THE FIRST PLAYTEST IS OUT!!!!!!
Today has been a crazy day. I didn't really think it would get it this put together this weekend, but I did! It's fairly feature bare, but I think it gives a good idea of what the game is about. I would really appreciate any feedback on it, if you do read through it!
Temp art is done; kind of a digital pop-collage design. I'm still on the look out for the right artist for the actual style I have in mind, but so far no luck.
The GM guide is the next up for this week. I also need to format Jobs and write full descriptions for each of them. Then its on to spells.

Hi there! How are you?
I was looking through your shop. What would you recommend for a crush? I mean if I wanted to attract him over to me to communicate and hopefully other things 💖
Thanks!
Hey there!
Thank you for checking us out! 🥹 I'd definitely recommend the Succubus Allure oil! Its all about the energy succubus give off so its great for drawing people in, charisma and attraction. I think that would work perfectly for this situation. I also love how the succubus' energy works with my confidence oil as well- one of my top duos!

Certain ones will work better than others. That’s based on their energy people have a tendency to use it for (like Rose Quartz for love or self confidence) but also what ever you get from it. (You might prefer using Rose Quartz only in love and another stone for self confidence based on trial and error for example)
When picking a stone for a spell a safe bet is to pick one that has the same intention as your spell or get what I call “side intention” aka something that goes well with the main intention of the spell. Like happiness ingredients in a self love spell work well. When picking crystals you can look up “metaphysical properties of ____” inserting the kind of crystal you bought you can usually find different websites you can cross reference lists of what people like it for. Trust your gut though, if a stone has a lot of properties associated with it try sitting with the stone to see how it feels for you. Or try it in a spell to test how the energy works for you. Try a different stone the next time that has the same property to see if you like that one more for those spells. Using our self love example- Rose Quartz is often used in self love but you could also use Rhodonite, Carnelian or another crystal you feel like gives off that energy. When in doubt just vibe with it and you won’t ruin your spell because you decided to try using a crystal during it. Witchcraft is personal and what works for you is what you should keep doing.
Hey so I started buying crystals and I have some questions!
How does one use crystals in witchcraft? What kinds of rituals call for crystal usage? Any spells?
