I am giving myself the opportunity to try and learn things I never would have had the confidence to ever attempt before. This past week I have learned and done things I never thought possible. It isn't just the fact I am veined out and pushed more weight than I thought I was capable in the past, it is that I am healing emotionally and mentally as well with every workout. I used to hate the gym because I felt as though everyone was starting and judging me. Now I lay on the bench in a room full of men and women and my attitude has turned to "just watch this" and "yeah, I did that." It is amazing as my body heals my mind is getting stronger as well. I don't think there is any way to properly prepare someone to understand just how much the weight loss and lifestyle change can affect your mind. This view never gets old on an airplane!!!! I used to bring my own seatbelt extender and now I have extra on the standard seatbelt!! Every time I fly it is a #nsv.
